Fresh off of a cross-country flight, Orlando Bloom was spotted making his way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Friday (October 9).
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” hunk quickly made his way to the exit after flying in from New York City, chatting on his cell phone along the way.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported by In Touch magazine that Bloom and his supermodel girlfriend Miranda Kerr were running into relationship woes, as a source told press, “It looks like Orlando Bloom’s romance with Miranda Kerr has stalled. The actor and the Victoria’s Secret model have been dating for almost two years now, but there’s friction because Orlando hasn’t made a bigger commitment.”
Since that time, a pal of the pair denied any such troubles, simply stating that the twosome are “just fine”.

'The music is really strong ... but my voice is vulnerable and delicate,' Keys says of her As I Am follow-up.By Jocelyn Vena

With the single "Doesn't Mean Anything" already out, Alicia Keys is set to release her fourth album, The Element of Freedom, on December 1. For the follow-up to 2007's As I Am, the singer worked with longtime collaborator Kerry "Krucial" Brothers along with Grammy-winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Jay-Z).
"The music is really strong, and the drums are really aggressive, but my voice is vulnerable and delicate," Keys said in a statement, adding that the album sum ups her process of "eliminating all of the boundaries and all the limitations, so that you can feel your freedom and express your freedom in every way you possibly can, and that's what I did with this album."
When MTV News caught up with Keys last month, she hadn't yet pinned down a name for the album but spoke openly and enthusiastically about its lead single, the video for which will premiere on PerezHilton.com on October 16 before hitting other sites the next day.
"The sound of it is very different — it almost feels like you're flying," she said of the track. "It takes you there. It has that piano, heavy-drum feeling. But the song touches you in this way. You dream of having all these things, you dream of going all these places. But what's the point of doing that, having that, if the one you want to be there isn't with you?"
Keys said the album is diverse but has an overarching pattern. "There's a feeling theme," she explained. "And I think somewhere in there, there's a balance. It's like one side is strong and one side is vulnerable. So that's the theme throughout the album. It has this kind of strong, edgy feel. But it's also intimate and vulnerable and delicate."
The singer can currently be heard on Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 track "Empire State of Mind."

According to In Touch Weekly, the “American Pie” hottie went completely in the buff as she posed for the cameras at a Santa Monica location on Wednesday (October 7).
Of the session, an insider tells, “She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started. She looked great and finally got into the groove.”
The Playboy shoot come after the 33-year-old previously said, Tara had said she wouldn’t dare pose for the men’s magazine, telling, “I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it’s uneven, but it’s not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds.”

Becoming the sixth member of the loving family, Lou Samuel joins siblings Henry, 3, and Johan, 2 and half-sister Leni, 5.
As for her kiddies readiness for a baby sister, Heidi previously told press: “They are very excited. They still don’t understand that there is actually a real human being in there, especially when they jump on top of me. I’m like, ‘You know it’s not that Mama has a big belly. There is actually somebody inside and I am trying to protect that person.’”

Taylor Swift is "Fifteen" all over again in the new music video for her song of the same name. The video will make its official debut Friday night (October 9) on CMT after a special about the singer titled "Fifteen Swiftly-Made Videos."
The 90-minute special will include Swift's entire video collection, including fan favorites like "Teardrops on My Guitar," "Love Story" and the VMA-winning "You Belong With Me." It will also include performances from other CMT specials like "Studio 330 Sessions" and "CMT Crossroads: Def Leppard and Taylor Swift," reports JustJared.com.

In Touch Weekly has a funny story about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. It?s all about how Tom is ?showering? Katie with attention ?in an attempt to hold her interest?. In other words, he?s over-stimulating his robot, and she needs to recharge. I should say this too - by almost every other report, Tom and Katie are fine and enjoying their time in Boston. While I think for a brief moment a few months back they might have been having problems, they seem pretty solid now. Katie genuinely seems happy (and not quite as zombie-like) on all of her Boston outings with Suri over the past few weeks. Anyway, here are some excerpts from IT?s story:
As their third wedding anniversary approaches in November, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are trying to make their marriage work.
While jogging together, instead of simply enjoying a leisurely run, Tom irritated Katie. ?He kept turning around backwards and shouting ?Harder! Faster!?? a witness says. ?She looked resentful, but he kept doing it? Katie prefers to jog alone, and that annoys her.?
Tom worries that Katie is pulling away, and it?s causing him to go into panic mode. Tom ?has been doing all he can to keep Katie happy? by pampering her with shopping sprees and massages, and even had her favorite cupcakes flown in from LA.
He also spent $50,000 remodeling one of Katie?s walk-in closets at their home in Beverly Hills. ?Tom is always making an effort to be a supportive husband and to keep Katie intrigued.?

Okay, there?s more to the story, but I just had to stop typing for a second because I was laughing too hard. One of the funniest sentences in the English language might be ?Tom is always making an effort to be a supportive husband and to keep Katie intrigued.? Seriously? We?re going with ?intrigued? as the feeling Tom wants to inspire? Mission. A-ccomplished. Perhaps next week they?ll say ?to keep Katie startled? or ?to keep Katie tormented and zombie-like? or ?to keep Katie totally in the dark about Tom’s sex with men?.
Anyway, the rest of the story is more of the same. Tom has plans to take Katie to the Maldives for their anniversary - that?s where they honeymooned. He also wants to run the New York marathon with her. God, could you imagine living with him? He seems like a hyperactive child. Katie has also been spending more time with her family, and they ?give her confidence?. Tom, IT claims, is worried because Katie has ?become more assertive? and her feelings towards Tom ?seem to be evolving?. Katie told Tom that she?s ?not entirely happy? and that she sometimes misses her freedom. Katie is also questioning what Tom says and does, and ?she doesn?t hang on his every word anymore and do whatever he wants.? Uh-oh. Why do I feel like Tom is less ?worried? and more ?scheduling an audit?? Break out the tin cans.

In Touch has a funny story to go along with the new fan pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?s 14-month-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. The fan pics came from an ice cream parlor outing in Jordan, and pretty much every magazine and gossip site has jacked those pictures over and over. I was thinking about that the other day - considering these are the first images of the twins we?ve seen in months, the guy who took the photos should have held on to the pictures and sold them to the highest bidder - he could be a millionaire by now. Poor guy.
Anyway, In Touch Weekly put up a surprisingly nice little story about the twins and what their lives are like. I guess the In Touch editor got tired of running ?the last straw? breakup stories and decided to make up some stuff about the kids. According to IT, after Brad and Angelina’s UNHCR trip to Syria, they made the stop in Jordan at the request of Angelina?s friend Queen Noor, the former queen of Jordan. Queen Noor ?wanted to meet the twins.? Interesting. Angelina and Queen Noor are friendly - according to reports, Angelina stayed in Noor?s palace when she traveled to Jordan in July with Maddox. Here?s more:
Although their parents fight, the twins are certainly living a charmed life.
?Knox is mellow and loves to listen to music,? a family friend says. ?Viv has Angie?s firecracker personality, but is so feminine.?
The twins are different but undeniably close. ?They always hug and sleep together in a custom-built crib,? says the friend.
They have two nannies watching their every move, who keep them on a strict schedule. ?They go to bed by 6 p.m. and are up at 6 a.m.,? and in their nursery, there?s a place to heat their bottles. Their siblings love being with them too.
?Z?s motherly, while Shi tells stories. Maddox draws pictures for them and Pax loves to make them painted macaroni necklaces.?

But it’s a beautiful idea that these two characters are out there fixing up other people but not really doing it for themselves. Her parents really should be ensuring that she’s safe online, and it seems like she has too much non-supervised access to the Internet, but it’s hard to tell. Miley is a role model to countless young girls and tweens. If she thinks Twitter is no longer cool, it’s going to lose favor with that crowd too. I’m more of a Facebook person, and I’ve done Twitter but I guess it’s just not for me. I don’t hate it or anything, I just don’t see the point and if I’m bored I’d rather play a game or watch a show or something. At least on Facebook there are tons of games built in. There are all those inspiring stories of people tweeting for help, and when used among groups of friends I can see how it can be fun and valuable. It can be a lot to sift through, though, especially if you end up using it like Facebook or Myspace and just befriend a bunch of people that you may not actually know. Will Miley quit for good or will she come back to Twitter once she’s single again? Maybe by that time there will be some new social networking app to take Twitter’s place.

What in God?s name is happening with Vogue?s November cover?!? This is the most hellish, budget, ugly messes I?ve ever seen. The cover story is all about the women of Nine, which will likely be one of the biggest movies of the awards season. Nine stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Stacey ?Fergie? Ferguson, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Sophia Loren, amongst others. For such a major film, it?s no surprise Vogue decided to put some of the more prominent leading ladies on the cover. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way that Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson were all at the same location at the same time for the cover shoot.
It looks like they just cut-and-pasted Nicole Kidman on the end, and what?s with the totally weird lighting on every single woman? Marion looks like she has a spotlight on her, while Penelope looks half-shadowed. Meanwhile, Kate looks like she smelled something. Yikes. Ten bucks says this shot is by Annie Leibovitz, and twenty says she is not happy with it. Plus, Nine takes place in Rome - why not do a fashion shoot in Rome? Why do these women have to be looking pissy at the beach?
Anyway, Vogue hasn?t put up the cover story online yet, but they do have an interesting feature - nine great looks from each of the cover ladies. I tend to think that would have been a better cover - just put older images from these ladies, and jam them together on the cover. Or, better yet, just put the immortal Daniel Day-Lewis on the cover and call it a day. Out of the whole cast, I?d say Daniel has the best shot at winning an Oscar for Nine. Sigh. Reports have recently surfaced that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger will be involved in a staging of Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to "The Phantom of the Opera," and MTV News has confirmed the report that Schzeringer is working with Lloyd Webber on his new play, "Love Never Dies."
Scherzinger's level of involvement with the production is still unknown, and her rep said that no further details are available at this time.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Lloyd Webber made the announcement about the follow-up to the highly successful "Phantom" in a statement. As of now, the show will open at the Adelphi Theatre in London on March 9, and a Broadway opening will follow on November 11, 2010. There are also plans to bring the show to Australia in 2011.
The story will follow the play's heroine Christine as she and the Phantom have run off to Coney Island, New York, 10 years after the end of "Phantom." "There's unfinished business," Lloyd Webber told reporters in London. "I don't regard this as a sequel; it's a stand-alone piece."
Recently, Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton told MTV News that the group is on hiatus, but assured fans it was in no way an official breakup. "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It's actually a much-needed break," Thornton said. "It's like when you're with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower."

As she said in recent interviews, the forthcoming re-release of Lady Gaga's debut album, The Fame: Monster, will feature almost an album's worth of new material.
According to a press release sent out by the singer's label, the album, which hits stores on November 24, will include eight new songs, including the lead single, "Bad Romance," the finished version of which was premiered on Tuesday at Alexander McQueen's runway show in Paris, and which Gaga played briefly during her piano medley on "Saturday Night Live" last weekend.
"I wrote about everything I didn't write on The Fame," Gaga said in the release. "While traveling the world for two years, I've encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my 'Fear of Sex Monster,' my 'Fear of Alcohol Monster,' my 'Fear of Love Monster,' my 'Fear of Death Monster,' my 'Fear of Loneliness Monster,' etc." She did not further specify the exact titles of the new songs, except for "Bad Romance" and one called "Speechless."
"Bad Romance" was produced by RedOne, who produced much of The Fame (including "Just Dance" and "Pokerface"), while Gaga worked with Teddy Riley, Rodney Jerkins, Ron Fair and Fernando Garibay on other tracks.
The singer, who spent much of the summer promoting her album, found inspiration while on the road.
"I spent a lot of nights in Eastern Europe, and this album is a pop experimentation with industrial/Goth beats, '90s dance melodies, an obsession with the lyrical genius of '80s melancholic pop and the runway," she said in the release. "I wrote while watching muted fashion shows and I am compelled to say my music was scored for them."
She also noted that "Speechless" is dedicated to her father; judging by her description, it's also one of the songs she briefly played during the medley on "SNL."
"I also composed a ballad for the album, 'Speechless,' a song for my father, and it's my favorite work of all," she said in the release. "I wrote every piece on the road — no songs about money, no songs about fame. I wrote it for my fans, so I wrote everything in between."
Gaga is also planning her forthcoming solo tour, which is being scheduled in the wake of the cancelation last week of her controversial Fame Kills Tour with Kanye West.

Fresh off of a cross-country flight, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt were spotted arriving at JFK Airport in Queens on Thursday afternoon (October 8).
The former “Simple Life” star and her hunky beau lovingly held hands as they made their way through the terminal and out to an awaiting car.
Meanwhile, Miss Hilton recently chatted with press about her upcoming appearance on “Supernatural,” telling, “I’ve always thought the show was very interesting and had a great theme and idea behind it. I think fans will be very surprised by what I do on the show. It’s very different than any character that I have played before.”
The hotel heiress adds, “I play a goddess who takes on the form of different celebrities so she can eat their fans,” reveals Paris. “The character shape-shifts, starting off as James Dean, then Abraham Lincoln, then Gandhi, and then me.”
Paris’ Supernatural cameo airs on Thursday at 8PM ET on The CW.

Naomi Watts has made it big - as the world’s most profitable actress.
The star topped Forbes.com’s newest Best Actresses for the Buck list, helping the box office hit an estimated $44 for every $1 she was paid for her last three major films.
Also on the list is Angelina Jolie, named the highest-earning actress by Forbes earlier this year, Jennifer Connelly, who has won Best Supporting Actress Oscar, BAFTA and a Golden Globe in A Beautiful Mind, took second - making an average of $41 per dollar she was paid.
Rachel McAdams made the list as third by turning low-budget films like Red Eye and The Notebook into huge movie hits, making movie bosses an average of $30 for every dollar.
Natalie Portman earned $28 per dollar while Meryle Streep at $27, and Jennifer Aniston at $26.
Most actresses making the list were joined by their famous co-stars.
Jennifer Connelly’s appearance in He’s Just Not That Into starred besides Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson — raked in $177 million at the box office, while Naomi was joined by British actor Clive Owen in 2008’s The International.

For those of you who think there?s something creepy about Madonna?s relationship with Jesus Luz, I?ll have you know you?re totally wrong. Their name thing is just a total coincidence. The age difference means nothing. Same for the wide gap between her income and his. And there is certainly nothing ? nothing ? creepy about her buying him his first apartment. Nothing. Why in the world would anyone think he?s just her boy toy?
Madonna is buying toyboy lover JESUS LUZ a 1.7million gaff in New York. The Queen Of Pop has decided it’s a bit too early for the model to move in with her and the kids. In other words, there was no room at the inn for Jesus. But Madge wants her new fella to live within walking distance of her 25million townhouse in the Upper East Side and is willing to pay for the, ahem, pleasure. The singer has given her estate agents the nod to sort him a flat. It will be in his name even though she is coughing up the huge wedge to buy it.
A source said: “Em is buying Jesus an apartment in New York. She has her real estate agent searching for the perfect pad for him in the new neighbourhood where she has just moved? She’s told them to spend no more than 1.7million and the pad has to be within walking distance of her townhouse. She is financing everything but Jesus will own it once it’s found and bought? She really wasn’t kidding when she told him he’ll never have to worry about money from now on.”
Jesus must feel like he can walk on water. He has landed on his feet big time, even if it means making the beast with two backs with a woman old enough to be his mum.

?Making the beast with two backs.? I love that. I had to check Wikipedia to make sure, and it definitely means sex. But somehow it also sounds to me like The Sun is calling Madonna a beast. I get an image of a two-humped camel with Madge?s face. And they sure make it sound like it?s an obligation instead of a joy, which imagine beast sex probably would be. Anyway? sorry, I?m sort of stuck on that phrase now?
Madge has now taken over every area of Jesus? life. Though it sounds like she?s making a genuine effort to help him out as well ? if the apartment is in just his name, it?s not like she?s making a real estate investment. He?ll get to keep it when they break up. But that?s also why their relationship seems sort of parent/child. She helps him in ways that are genuinely kind, like working on his career in modeling and learning how to deejay ? but it?s strange to have his girlfriend finance that sort of thing. And his home. And yes I normally think the same thing about an older man and a younger woman, though that?s obviously much more common. Whenever there are shades of a parent relationship there, it creeps me out a bit. Oh well, at least Jesus will have a nice play to call home when one of these two comes to their senses.

I have always trusted Kim Kardashian for great advice on buying swimsuits but I did not realize that she will follow in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson and make an outfit out of a scarf. The Kardashian sisters spend a lot of time wearing swimsuits (though I must mention often nothing) and each time the swimwear is exotic. I am not sure if you can try this during your vacation on the Pink sandy beaches of Bermuda but I am sure that you can use your scarf on the beach in very creative ways.
