Always looking to make the world a better place, Jessica Biel decided it was high time that girls receive a proper education about their changing bodies.
To that end, the ?7th Heaven? hottie worked with activist Saundra Pelletier to found Women Care Global, an organization to help adolescent ladies learn about puberty, contraception and a whole host of other valuable topics via online videos.
Of her recent pregnancy, Jessica told Glamour's October 2015 issue, ?Suddenly I realized I really didn?t know what?s going on inside my own body. It was shocking.? Of the Women Care Global initiative, Jessica added, ?We share girl stories, fears, and insecurities. The tone is informative but also goofy, smart, witty.?

| Sarah Silverman thinks complaining about PC humor is 'a sign of being old' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Earlier this year, Jerry Seinfeld went on a pity tour about how kid these days just don’t understand good humor. Jerry said he stopped touring colleges because they’d call him out for non-politically correct jokes, and that drastically cramped his style. My position was that Jerry is free to tell whatever jokes he wishes, but obviously he is bothered by criticism. And if Jerry thinks it’s too difficult to adapt to PC audiences, maybe his jokes aren’t that funny at all. He followed up with another interview, in which he complained about “a creepy PC thing,” and again, he’s placing the blame for his dumb jokes elsewhere.
Sarah Silverman, who is at TIFF to promote her drama, I Smile Back, took a moment to put whiny comedians like Jerry in check. She thinks he’s acting like an old fart, basically:
Adapting to the the times: “To a degree, everyone’s going to be offended by something, so you can?t just decide on your material based on not offending anyone. But, I do think it’s important – as a comedian, as a human – to change with the times, to change with new information. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with changing with the times. I think it’s a sign of being old when you are put off by that. You have to listen to the college-aged because they lead the revolution.”
Her problem with college kids: “The thing that bums me out sometimes is, it’s a sea of iPhones, and because comedy is something where you’re connecting. It’s a bummer because you just end up saying your jokes to a sea of empty vessels through which Facebook expresses itself.”
[From Vanity Fair]
Sarah is 44 (vampire), and Jerry is 61. Both of them could feel pretty old on a college campus, but Sarah does pretty well at putting Jerry (and other crotchety male comedians like him) in his place. At least Louis CK didn’t complain when people called his SNL monologue offensive. He was being “edgy” for the sake of offense, which was kind of sad, but you don’t hear him shouting at people to get off his comedic lawn. Jerry’s just upset he can no longer plop down in a diner and have people fall over with laughter. Really though, this isn’t all about comedy. This is about how all of entertainment is — you adapt to people’s tastes or you get out. Entertainers sometimes forget that people want to be entertained, which is what’s going on with Jerry Seinfeld.

| Taylor Swift is crazy for Calvin Harris, 'she hasn't been in love like this before' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Taylor Swift is being sued. Although the story is oddly detailed and it doesn?t make much sense. David Mueller is suing Swifty for basically getting him fired from his radio DJ job, after she and her people went to his employer (the radio station KYGO) and told them that Mueller grabbed her inappropriately backstage at one of her concerts. The alleged inappropriate touching ? which was a butt-grope, in case you?re interested ? happened in 2013. Swifty?s people still claim that Mueller did grope Taylor and ?the radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident. They made their independent decision.? Mueller is suing Swifty because he says Taylor was definitely groped, it just wasn?t by him, and that he lost his job because of her mistake. It?s convoluted, right? You can read more about it here.
Meanwhile, ?sources? claim that Tay-Tay and Calvin Harris are more in love than ever! They love each other so hard that she even calls him by his real name, Adam.
It?s a Love Story, baby, just call me Adam? Things are heating up between Taylor Swift and her boyfriend of six months, Calvin Harris. In fact, it?s getting so serious that the ?Blank Space? singer is not calling the Scotland-born DJ, 31, by his well-known stage name.
?Taylor always calls Calvin by his birth name, Adam, and never Calvin in private,? a source close to the couple exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Taylor gets all dressed and glammed up whenever she is going to see him to look her best.? Shall we call them ?Taydam??
Swift, 25, whose exes include (but are not limited to) Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, and Joe Jonas, seems to be rather smitten with her new love.
“She’s head over heels,? the source continues. ?She hasn’t been in love like this before!”
[From Us Weekly]
I do think this romance is different, at least on Swifty?s side. Usually, her romances are so brief because inevitably the guy dumps her over the phone after a few months. Taylor and Calvin/Adam have been going strong for what? Since February/March. That?s at least six months of pure, real relationship happening. And you know what? Because this is so real and so much bigger and better than all of her previous relationships, you know what that means? The breakup is going to be the most epic thing ever. It?s going to be a mess. It?s going to be beautiful.

| Ellen Page declares that she 'loves' girlfriend Samantha Thomas at TIFF | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Ellen Page made her red carpet debut with her girlfriend Samantha Thomas two nights ago at TIFF. They came out for the TIFF premiere of Freeheld, the film where Ellen stars with Julianne Moore. We?ve seen Ellen with Samantha before ? in August, they were pap?d together in NYC and I said Samantha looked a bit like Elle Macpherson. She does look sort of Elle-esque, although without sunglasses, I?m getting more of a ?blonde Catherine Keener? vibe. At the premiere, Ellen wore YSL ? I like her in leather pants! Anyway, Ellen and Samantha have been going strong for seven months and Ellen told E! News that it?s L-O-V-E.
Ellen Page had a special plus one at the Toronto International Film Festival Sunday night. At the premiere of her latest film Freeheld, the actress walked the red carpet with her girlfriend Samantha Thomas. This was the first red carpet for the couple. Why tonight, you may ask?
Page told me with a big smile, “I’m in love.”
Freeheld has been a passion project for Page so the premiere seemed like the right time for their glamorous public debut. Page told E! News exclusively that “walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend’s hand is pretty special.”
“It’s pretty awesome,” she added.
[From E! News]
Aw, she?s in love. That?s really sweet. Ellen spoke to The Daily Beast about all things LGBT, her project with Vice (in which she confronts homophobia in politics) and Kim Davis too ? you can read the full piece here.

| Gabrielle Union: 'The penance for being a career woman is barrenness' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
I always go back and forth on this? Gabrielle Union: shady or fine? Like, I think she?s shady for everything that went down with Dwyane Wade, from the end of his first marriage to their half-assed ?breakup? where he fathered a child with a ?friend,? to the way she seems to relish being an NBA WAG. But on the other side, I still sort of like her because I?ve always liked her. She?s beautiful, she?s a better actress than people realize, and she should have been a much bigger star.
Anyway, the October issue of Redbook has three covers for some reason. Gabrielle has one, then Erin Andrews on another, then Maria Menounos on another. All women were asked about, and spoke freely on, work-life balance, family planning and whether they even want to become mothers. Gabrielle made some of the most interesting comments:
The 10-year age difference between Gabrielle and Dwyane Wade: ?His teammates, were conceived when I was, like, a senior in high school. I was in high school at the same time as their parents! Sometimes he?ll be like, ?Oh, my God, he?s so old!? about someone who?s 35. But, Dwyane?s an old 33, and I?m a young 42, so it balances out.?
Starting a family with Wade: ?So far, it has not happened for us. A lot of my friends deal with this. There?s a certain amount of shame that is placed on women who have perhaps chosen a career over starting a family younger. The penance for being a career woman is barrenness. You feel like you?re wearing a scarlet letter.?
On IVF & the pressure of starting a family: ?The reality is that women are discriminated against in the workplace for being mothers. As much as there are strides being made ? you get pregnant, your career takes a hit. You can?t have a bad day. Don?t you dare cry at work. Don?t raise your voice. Especially if you?re a black woman in corporate America ? now you?re ?the angry black woman.’?
[From Redbook]
Just to clarify, Wade is already a father ? he and his ex-wife have two sons together, and he has a third son with a ?friend,? the woman he slept with when he was supposed to be ?on a break? with Union. So, Union is a stepmother to his kids, but she?s talking about having biological kids with Wade. If that?s what she wants, then God bless, but it does sound like she has sort of mixed feelings about it. And yes, it does feel like the message from society and the media is ?The penance for being a career woman is barrenness.? Just like the penance for choosing to be child-free is that you?re treated like an oddity, a social outcast.

Bringing an end to their year-long romance, Lil Wayne and Christina Milian decided to go their separate ways late last month.
According to multiple sources, the ?Dip It Low? songstress and the ?Mrs. Officer? rapper broke up shortly after they performed together at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival in August.
For now, neither party has much to say, though Christina is said to be pouring all of her energy into her new FOX sitcom ?Grandfathered,? also starring John Stamos and Josh Peck.

I don’t mean to rag on Charlotte McKinney somuch — don’t get me wrong, she’s hot, in a Playboy model kind of way. But compared to Petra Nemcova here in these pictures from New York Fashion Week, there’s just no contest. I mean, maybe if Charlotte was wearing a bikini or something and jumping on […]
