Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid stayed broken up for a solid year, throughout 2019 basically. In 2017 and 2018, they did a lot of on-and-off stuff, breaking up and making up several times in months-long spans. Once I actually read some interviews from Zayn, I understood it more he sounds like A LOT, especially for a young relationship, you know?
Well, now Zayn is 28 27 and Gigi is 24. They?re still young but they?re not ?kids.? And they?re back together officially. They were seen together around New Year?s and there were rumors for weeks now that they had gotten back together. Here?s the confirmation. Zayn and Gigi were spotted together, having dinner in New York on Saturday night. Zayn turned 27 years old on Sunday, and it looked like they did a pre-birthday dinner with a few close friends, and Bella Hadid, Anwar Hadid and Anwar?s girlfriend Dua Lipa Gigi and Zayn walked arm in arm after dinner.
I mean, they?re old enough to know what they?re doing, and we all know couples like this, couples who break up and make up a million times, couples who seem kind of dysfunctional and yet they seem obsessed with each other. I thought it was a good sign for Gigi that she spent time apart from Zayn last year, and she was living that Single Girl life, dating a dude from The Bachelor and hanging out with girlfriends and all that. Is this backsliding? Or is it a couple who truly loves each other and needed time apart to grow and then find their way back to each other? Why am I so invested in this, and why do I feel like I?m the only one who IS invested in this? I have so many questions, clearly.

| Anne Hathaway in Versace at the Critics' Choice Awards: disco ball realness' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from last night?s Critics Choice Awards. Anne Hathaway was there a presenter, and as part of the nominated show Modern Love. I didn?t realize it when I saw her walk on stage, looking like a disco ball, but Anne only recently gave birth? Did you know that? We covered her second pregnancy a few times last year, but I sort of forgot about it. She apparently gave birth in December, which makes her about a month postpartum right now. It?s insane that she came out to the Critics Choice Awards looking so glam and shiny. This dress is Versace. I suspect she wore it because she?s really happy with her boobs right now.
Lucy Hale wore Miu Miu. This dress is so cheap-looking, especially with the budget-chandelier crystals hanging off the waist. Ugh. I also think the hairstyle was a bad choice here.

| Charlize Theron in Celine at the Critics' Choice Awards: basic or sleek' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are more photos from last night?s Critics? Choice Awards. Charlize Theron is getting nominated across the board for playing Megyn Kelly in Bombshell and everybody seems to have mixed feelings about that. I sort of wonder if Charlize is trying her best to avoid looking like Megyn Kelly during the awards season, and maybe that?s why she?s keeping this tragique hairstyle. This hair is full-on ruining what would be okay red carpet looks. Charlize?s look last night was Celine I?m curious about what the dress looks like without the jacket, but whatever. It?s a look.
Nicole Kidman in Armani. On the show, I only saw this from the waist up, so I was not expecting this ballgown-like skirt. It?s? a lot. It?s not bad, actually. It?s just kind of boring, even though it?s supposed to be mega-drama.
Annabelle Wallis in Moschino another one which should be DRAMA but it?s really not. I am surprised by how much I like the construction on this it suits her.
Jenny Slate in Mulberry. This is? lovely? I really like the fabric, the embroidery, the subtle sparkle in the floral. It suits her and it?s a good dress.

| Kate Beckinsale in Julien MacDonald at the Critics' Choice Awards: too much' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kate Beckinsale was a presenter last night, and she was over the top as is typical for her. Hecate just covered Kates fashion at a Golden Globes after party, and I came away from her post with more of an appreciation for Kate. She wants to bring it every time and she tries, but it ends up being predictable. Imagine if she went for a classic and understated look instead. That would be unexpected, but this is not. Kate was in a peach Julien MacDonald with sequin beading and a giant goofy poof on one shoulder. When she came out on stage she had to push the long side train out of the way. There was something dramatic about that, but this was just the Critics Choice Awards. The venue didnt seem suited to this. If this didnt have that giant vomiting orchid on the shoulder it would be lovely.
Whenever I use Billy Porter as the headliner the posts get less comments, maybe because he always brings such looks to the red carpet that people expect it from him. So I used Kate Beckinsale instead, since more people know her and will want to comment on her. Billy is the real star here, as hes the one who takes actual fashion risks. In this case he veered from just a gown or suit and wore little temporary butterfly tattoos as his main accessory. Billy was in a Hogan McLaughlin gown in two shades of green with a contemporary angular bodice. Im not sure about his silver jewelry, he could have toned that down a little, but at least hes not completely matchy with his body art. It would have been weird if he wore butterfly jewelry too. I think the jewelry and gown are meant to contrast with the butterflies.

| Laura Dern in Emilia Wickstead at the Critics' Choice Awards: too orange or striking' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Its strange how different trends come up on specific red carpets. Do you remember how the big trend was Pink and red just a couple of months ago? Last night at the Critics Choice Awards it was definitely bright yellow and orange. So many women looked like highlighters. There were some lovely bright dresses, it was just an unexpected color choice and different from the canary yellow which was inexplicably popular a while ago.
First off is winner Laura Dern in Emilia Wickstead. This was one of my favorite bright dresses in that its very flattering, it highlights her great figure and it looks classic and comfortable. Her hair is a bit undone for me, but overall its a great look. I really like the T back, which you could see on camera. Laura won for Best Supporting Actress for Marriage Story and it looks like shes the contender to beat now. Shes been nominated for two Oscars but doesnt have one yet. Well find out today if she gets a third nom.
Kristen Bell was in a Cong Tri jumpsuit. She won the See Her award, which was invented by ad agencies to highlight women in acting. The intro focused on the need to recognize diversity and different body types and then Kristen won, which was weird. I thought this jumpsuit was just ok. I like how silky and flowy it is and it definitely stood out but the color seems off to me.
Awkwafina was in an empire waist Elie Saab gown with a built-in cape. This is quite girlie for her, she often wears suits and more eclectic outfits, and I really like it. Fingers crossed that she gets nominated today!
Rachel Brosnahan was in Carolina Herrera. I wasnt a big fan of the dress. Those bell-type skirts are bizarre and the sequins on this bring the eye to that area, but I love her styling. That long braid with the silver string around it is so pretty.
