Last month we heard about Victoria Secret?s big rebrand. They assembled a group of impressive women who made up the new VS Collective. The Collective is going to, ?create revolutionary product collections, compelling and inspiring content, new internal associate programs and rally support for causes vital to women.? Other than a Juneteenth post, I haven?t seen a huge shift in their IG page, but I think they?ve been slowly changing their image over the last year so maybe the rollout slowly began before the announcement. The point is, Victoria?s Secret is trying to change. And one of the original Angels, Heidi Klum, is happy to hear it. While saying she loved her time as a model for the brand, mostly because of the friendships she formed, Heidi said the company has needed to change for a while.
The OG Angel! Heidi Klum, who was a Victoria?s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2010, is speaking out about the lingerie company?s rebrand, VS Collective.
The relaunch, which was announced in June, claims to Usher in a ?new era? for the brand. It features ?an ever-growing group of accomplished women who share a common passion to drive positive change,? including actress Priyanka Chopra and soccer star Megan Rapinoe.
?About time, is all I can say. About time,? the 48-year-old model said to The Sunday Project on July 11. ?As a model, you go there, you are happy to have a job. When you are not the company, you do what you are told. But finally, looking at this now, I?m like, about time.?
Victoria?s Secret, which will also be launching The Victoria?s Secret Global Fund for Women?s Cancers to ?fund innovative research projects aimed at progressing treatments and cures for women?s cancers,? previously canceled the official fashion show and the Angel title in 2019.
While Klum recognizes that the agency has been taking steps in the right direction, she also acknowledges that the speed at which they?re changing is on the slower side.
?Good. You know, because things do need to change. They have been changing. It?s been taking too long,? she said to the Australian outlet.
The star, who has passed her love for modeling onto daughter 17-year-old daughter Leni, also told Body + Soul that she?s ?excited that they?re [Victoria?s Secret] understanding there are so many different people out there who want beautiful things to wear.?
She?s thrilled to see the change, but she admits that she ?always loved the brand? during her run as an Angel.

I?m with Heidi in that I am happy to see Victoria Secret?s evolve. I grew up with the catalogue supposedly being inspiration for what I wanted to look like. It was, don?t get me wrong, but I knew not to look at it on my bad days or I?d feel worse. I simply couldn?t hold myself to those standards. But I liked the product. I thought it was pretty and bought things for special occasions. There are a lot of companies out there doing it better now, however, so VS has to keep up with the times. As Kaiser pointed out in her write up, VS?s issues went so far below the surface, an image overhaul was their only hope at survival. It would be nice to see people who look like me, but it would also be nice to see some stuff that looks nice on people like me. Like, shake it up a bit for us non-model types, dont just give us size zero lingerie in larger sizes.
As for Heidi, I think she means it. It?s hard to look at someone who could still model the old VS ideal on the runway and hear her as an advocate, but it?s always better to have a famous voice in our corner than not. I think watching her 17-year-old daughter entering the modeling fray might have Heidi scared. She knows how harsh the industry is and maybe she?d like Leni to be able to live a freer life than she did. And she?s not saying the company is irredeemable, Heidi?s glad they?re adopting change. So, there?s hope for Victoria and her Secret yet. Can?t wait until we see this big overhaul, though, because Heidi?s right about one thing, it?s a little, ?on the slower side? for sure.

Heidi Klum was married to her second husband, Seal, for about eight years. Their wedding ceremony at a resort in Costa Careyes Mexico was attended by Heidi, Seal and Heidi?s daughter, Leni, who Seal later adopted. On each anniversary following, they renewed their vows at same resort. The ceremonies grew to include their future children and a guest list that expanded upwards of 50 people. Heidi themed the ceremonies. In 2009, travel to Mexico was restricted due to the H1N1 virus, so the couple hosted their annual renewal at their home in L.A. with a ?White Trash? theme. At that point, I many people began to question the point of the renewal, as it seemed they were more an excuse for a party than a true reaffirmation of vows. But Heidi just gave an interview to the Sunday Times in which she said that she was, in fact, trying to preserve their love with each ceremony. Obviously, they didn?t work. Officially, Heidi Klum has been married three times: to hairdresser Ric Pipino, then singer Seal, then her current husband, Tokio Hotel rocker Tom Kaulitz. During her marriage to Seal, however, the German supermodel and the Kiss From a Rose singer repeatedly renewed their marriage vows each year ? but ultimately split in 2012.
?I think I got married eight times to Seal,? Klum, 48, now says of the former couples multiple trips to the altar in a new interview with the Sunday Times. ?I thought it would be kind of, like, fun. I thought it would be a fest of love. But you know, that doesn?t work either. I tried, you can?t say I didn?t try!?
She admits that over time she began to lose faith in the repeat ceremonies: Like, ?This is really not working.? But I tried.
Seal, 58, has also addressed the vow renewals, telling Andy Cohen in 2015 that that was my ex-wife?s idea, to be honest.?
Noting that he disliked that the ceremonies were publicized, he added, It kind of turned into a little bit of a circus, which I wasn?t terribly fond of because, by default, I?m quite a private person.?

I don?t have an opinion on vow renewals in general. I feel that, like wedding ceremonies, it has to be what they couple wants. I?d have one if my vows were broken and we decided to give it another shot. But that?s how I feel about it right now (I could always change my mind, too). Plenty of couples view them differently and that?s great. Celebrate your relationship however it works best for you. I admit that I got the impression that Heidi and Seal?s renewals were almost a habit after a while, like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. They didn?t seem to have any sentiment behind them, more fun than anything. So I was surprised to hear Heidi was actually trying to buoy her marriage with them. I wonder if that?s what was behind the themes, to incorporate traditions she found so beautiful she wanted them to bless her marriage in that way. I?d struggle with what her ?White Trash? theme brought under that theory, however. But if Seal was, as he claims, against them, then they were doomed to fail from the start. If he told Heidi he didn?t want them public and she went public, that?s not cool of her. If he never told her that at the time, then he?s set her up to fail. Either way, these two were obviously not on the same page.

Do you remember how Heidi Klum and Seal used to demonstrate their love? I still remember that music video where they were strategically naked and making out, and how they used to share an office at home and get their vows renewed every year. Heidi is in love with love, until she isn?t. I?m in no way blaming her for the end of that marriage, I?m divorced and sometimes it doesn?t work out. I?m saying she once was as over the top with Seal as she is with her new husband, Tom Kaulitz. Heidi, 46, married Tom, 30, one year to the day after they met. Shes been with him less than two years. She now says shes never had a real partner before or someone she could count on, essentially. She was gushing about Seal years into her marriage so this is ridiculous.
?I?m just a much happier person,? she told PEOPLE ahead of Monday?s season 2 premiere of America?s Got Talent: The Champions.
?For the first time, I have a partner who I can discuss everything with. Someone who shares duties that we all have in our life,? the supermodel and TV personality added. ?I used to be on my own with everything. For the first time, I get to experience what it is actually like to have a partner.?

Oh damn. She was married to Seal for nine years and has four kids with him! It is perfectly clear what shes saying and shes definitely shading Seal. I mean, isnt she still coparenting with Seal? Her kids are 15, 13 and 10. I would never say anything like this about my ex. Sure we had issues but if everything was so bad all the time I wouldnt have been with him for years. We had good years together and we worked on it. Dont erase the good times because of the ending, and dont shade your kids dad in public. Talk smack about him to your closest friends, but never to your kids and definitely not to the press.

Heidi Klum and her new husband, Tom Kaulitz, made their red carpet debut as a married couple late last week in New York at a Harpers Bazaar event called ICONS By Carine Roitfeld. Heidi was wearing a giant one-shoulder red-orange dress by Stephane Rolland. The high leg slit was ridiculous on a dress with that much draping and fabric but thats her style and shes worn much worse. Heidi and rocker Tom look like a mishmatch fashion-wise, but they seem quite suited for each other. They had that big wedding in Capri last month, Tom is willing to go swimming illegally with Heidi for the gram, and theyre both German. Heidi has said that means that theyre quite punctual, which is a trait I appreciate in a significant other too. Tom recently gave Heidi a gift celebrating their shared heritage. He had a piece of the Berlin Wall installed in their Garden. Tom is from East Germany. He was born a month before the wall fell. Heidi would have been 18 at the time.

On Wednesday I happened to read this article in the New York Times that warns tourists to not sit on the Spanish Steps in Rome (or wade in Trevi Fountain) unless they bring enough money to pay a fine. The former will cost 400 euros ($450); the latter 450 euros ($500). Those are only two of the new bans that are being enforced in Rome, which, the Times notes, are meant ?to ?guarantee decorum, security and legality? by prohibiting actions that are ?not compatible with the historic and artistic decorum? of Rome?s center.? So I was amused by this story about Heidi Klum and her new husband, Tom Kaulitz, who ignored a no-swimming ban (for the second time!) in Capri?s Blue Grotto and are looking at a fine of 6,000 euros. Heidi and Tom just had a lavish second wedding in Capri last weekend.
Just days after their lavish second wedding, Heidi Klum and hubby Tom Kaulitz found themselves in some deep water during their honeymoon.
RadarOnline.com has learned the newlyweds are facing a stiff fine for swimming in the island of Capri?s famous Blue Grotto ? a serious no-no according to Italian law. The couple allegedly dived into the waters from a yacht shortly before sunset on Monday, August 5. People can visit the grotto by boat, but swimming is strictly forbidden.
?Last night at 5:30 pm Heidi Klum and some friends, there were 20 people, drove to the Blue Grotto, where she took a bath,? a statement translated from Italian detailed. ?As we know That [sic] this is forbidden, but this time the Italian police stopped them outside.?
Klum and Kaulitz now face a fine of 6,000 euros. That?s about $6,728 in U.S. dollars.
This is not the first time the couple have decided to take a dip in the forbidden waters. Exactly a year ago, Klum posted a video of her and Kaultiz swimming in the grotto, making out as an unseen singer serenaded the lovebirds.

Above is a photo of Heidi Klums white strapless wedding gown which she wore in her second wedding to Tom Kaulitz on a yacht in Capri, Italy over the weekend. You can see more photos of the dress below and on People and E!. I havent found a designer ID yet, but it looks like its about to fall down, it has a built-in cape-like bunched up back, and is made with heavy-looking floral textured fabric embellished with floral sequins. Its very on brand for her, Ill say that, but she and Tom look elated and thats nice. We heard last month that Heidi, 46, and Tom, 29, got secretly married in February exactly one year after the day they met. This second wedding was more traditional and was attended by friends and family including Toms twin and bandmate, Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz, and Heidis four children. This is Toms second marriage and Heidis third. Heres more, from People:
Klum wore her hair down, accessorizing her straight locks with a white veil. The model also wore gold bracelets and a necklace that appeared to spell out ?TOM.?
Meanwhile, Kaulitz was dressed in a white suit with a light blue shirt and pocket square.
After Klum legally married Kaulitz just two months after getting engaged on Dec. 24, the couple threw a lavish, traditional wedding ceremony on a yacht alongside family and friends, including Kaulitz?s twin brother Bill Kaulitz.
PEOPLE confirmed Klum and Kaulitz got legally married earlier this year after public records show they obtained a confidential marriage certificate in California. TMZ reports they tied the knot in February 2019.
At the time, Klum told Entertainment Tonight that they had a specific date in mind, but she didn?t give away too many details, simply saying the wedding would be ?on time? and that preparations were ?coming along.?
?We?re two Germans, it will be very organized and on time. Very, very much on time and very organized,? Klum said.

People reminds us that Toms brother threw him a bachelor party in Vegas last month, which confused me for the ten seconds I thought arent they already married? before forgetting about it. That must have been to prepare for this more traditional wedding. I like them together and Heidi has said they have a lot in common due to both being German. That probably does make a big difference to her as it can be tough being married to someone from another culture. I would think the age difference might become an issue, but Heidi had gravitated toward younger guys since her 2014 divorce from Seal. Congratulations to Heidi and Tom!
Heidi has been sharing photos from this trip, but she hasnt posted her wedding dress yet. Shes been wearing white a lot, which is cute.
Toms brother Bill took this photo. I thought this might be her party dress, but I saw photos from the party and she wore a kind of caftan thing as everyone was swimming after the wedding. This dress is gorgeous and I would like it better as her wedding gown.

The last time I covered Heidi Klum, 46, she said she would have married her fiance, 29 year-old Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, the day they met. That was back in March and she also said in that interview that they had a date set for their wedding, which she didnt specify. Well they were already married at that point! They made it official back in February, and Extra points out that they got married exactly one year after the day they met. This is Heidis third marriage and Toms second.

According to a public document obtained by TMZ, the couple acquired a marriage certificate, and insiders say they tied the knot on February 22.
Heidi and Tom may have celebrated the secret nuptials with a trip to Mr. Chow. The pair was spotted leaving the restaurant the same day they exchanged ?I dos.?
The wedding date holds a special significance for the couple ? days before they got hitched, Heidi told ?Extra?s? Tanika Ray at the Grammys that she had met Tom on February 22, 2018!
She gushed, ?I would have married him that day.?
The model also referred to Tom as her ?husband,? before quickly correcting herself.

That was fast for them. Im really surprised that they made it down the aisle actually. Do you remember how over the top Heidi and Seal used to be about their love? They used to have commitment ceremonies every year and would gush about each other to the press. Heidi Klum has a new interview with Closer Magazine [via Daily Mail] in which she talks about her fiance, 29 year-old Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz. They have a date for their wedding and while its not specified Im assuming its this year. Heidi says that her kids love Tom and are excited for them to get married, which is nice I guess. Thats important in a relationship. She also claims she would have married Tom the day they met, which is ridiculous.
Speaking to Closer magazine on Tuesday, [Heidi] gushed: The kids adore Tom. They cant wait for the wedding! Theyll be very involved in it all.
Going on to discuss their engagement, ten months into their romance, she said: We met in February 2018 and honestly I would have married him that day, probably!
I was surprised when he asked, but I was kind of thinking it was going to go that way because we just clicked.
[Heidi] said she and her fianc have set a date for the wedding, but have their work cut out for them as theyve been too busy with their work to plan anything.
Heidi met Tom on set of Germanys Next Top Model, and Tom popped the question on December 24 with a dark-stone engagement ring.

Maybe Im just too practical a person but even after I have been with someone for years theres no way I would say or think oh I would have married them the day I met them. Thats just fing stupid. I remember the first date I had with men I was with for years and they all went well, but so did first dates with dudes I ended up breaking up with after a few months. You just dont know the first few times you meet someone or even in the first few months. You have to get to know them in different circumstances. You cant tell if someone is reliable the first time you meet them, not to mention trustworthy and sane. Heidi is wacky, shes in love with being in love and she dates these younger men who worship her and make her feel young. At least she hasnt messed with her face Ill give her that. Injectables and plastic surgery are not as common in Germany though.
I know Heidi is dressed like a muppet but she was at a fashion show so she has an excuse this time.

After I turned 40 I dated a guy who was 11 years younger than me. While it was fun for a few weeks it felt like a cliche and the age difference was too much. My boyfriend is older than me and I appreciate how reliable and trustworthy he is in comparison. I doubt I could date another guy that much younger, although of course some people are more mature. It seems like it works for Heidi though, at least for now. Maybe she’ll ultimately go the J.Lo route and move on to a guy closer to her age and fame level. I suspect she knows that this works for her for now.
