Showing off her slim figure, Ellen Pompeo was spotted out in Los Angeles, CA earlier this morning (August 11).
The ?Grey?s Anatomy? beauty looked trendy in heels, dark jeans, a tucked-in burgundy top and designer shades as she made her way around the bustling west coast city.
In ?Grey?s? news, it was just reported by TV Guide that Dr Owen Hunt (played by Kevin McKidd) will become the new Chief Resident this season.
He will be replacing Chief Webber, who steps down from the top position for tampering with an Alzheimer?s clinical trial.

The West Beverly Babe donned a bikini as she got doused with the gooey-looking substance, though she appeared to be a good sport about the whole ordeal.
According to an on-set source, Miss McCord?s character was in a jousting match and ended up losing- that?s where the slime came in.
Nonetheless, it looks like the new season of ?90210,? which kicks off on September 13th, will be full of fun moments like this.

The ?Disaster Movie? dame headed off to Boot Camp at a local gym, sporting a black jacket, grey shorts, and matching sneakers.
In a recent interview, Kim described a recent trip to New York City for a wedding dress fitting session with Vera Wang.
?I took the red-eye at midnight, landed at eight in the morning in New York, ran to Vera Wang for a dress fitting at 10 a.m., and then left at noon on another flight out. So I was literally in for an hour, back out. I spent like 11 hours on a plane just to spend three hours in New York. But it was so worth it.?

I?m doing this story just because I wanted to spend ten minutes looking up old photos of Johnny Depp and Kate Moss. Sigh? the 1990s. So much fun. I wish there were more couples like that these days. They were wild and fun and they really loved each other. Anyway, I didn?t even know this was a story, but apparently there are lots of rumors going around about Kate Moss possibly penning a memoir. I did a 2-second Google search and found that Kate was also writing memoirs in 2009, 2006, and beyond, so? this might just be BS. Yes, the Depp part would be the first part I would flip to - he was the best of Kate?s exes. I mean, Pete Doherty?!? I still can?t believe Kate was with Doherty. So Depp is the selling point?that, and all of those alleged orgies Kate has had with half of London. God, she?s so much fun. I’ve always thought Kate and Johnny were still a little bit hung up on each other - and I’ve always thought Vanessa Paradis looked an awful lot like Kate.
Honestly, though, I doubt Kate is ready to write her memoir - but I think she might do it at some point, maybe when she?s not making millions a year from modeling.

Jetting off for an afternoon flight, Angelina Jolie was spotted boarding a helicopter alongside her bodyguard close to her temporary home in London, England earlier today (August 11).
Showing off her simple yet chic style, the "Salt" stunner sported a nearly all-black ensemble, pairing a jacket and skinny pants with nude-colored pumps for the high-flying fete.
Meanwhile, Angie and her brood of six, who are staying in the Richmond neighborhood while Brad Pitt is filming "World War Z" nearby, have refused to let the recent rioting of London drive them out of their rented home.
"Angelina has visited some of the most dangerous places on the planet and isn't about to pack her suitcase and evacuate just because a very small minority of violent youths have taken to the streets" an insider told The Huffington Post.
Making sure to note that the Jolie-Pitt clan is in good hands, a former British police officer added,"Angelina and her family could not be safer. She has her own private security and the rioting is limited to areas that she is staying away from. What you are seeing on television is just awful but it is confined to a few very small areas."

Supermodel Bar Refaeli appears on the cover of British GQ for its September issue, and (as usual) her body looks absolutely stunning in the photoshoot. While she will never be considered an intellectual genius, however, Bar certainly has a technique to her modelling. In a few excerpts from the accompanying interview, she gives away a secret of her success:

Oh, Bar. While I won’t criticize her (untouchable) body or obvious prowess in front of the camera, she seems pretty vacuous, right? As in nothing is more important than getting her picture taken even if that means being a draft-dodger. Apparently, Bar even married (and then quickly divorced) one of her own relatives just to avoid her two years of compulsory service because “celebrities have other needs.” Never mind that fellow Israeli supermodel Etsi Ginzburg served her two years without complaint. Bar is also a customs dodger too, for what it’s worth.
Now, for more silly mindlessness from Bar, who has posted a few photos on her Twitter account of herself all slathered up in Dead Sea mud. Presumably, some people will get up in arms and describe this as “blackface,” but Kaiser points out that Bar’s probably just being dumb, not racist. I tend to agree, and even though Dead Sea mud is supposed to be great for the skin as a beauty treatment, I think Bar’s gotten a bit carried away here. Then again and with a body like that, she can afford to be less than serious about most things.

Kicking off another day of promotions, Emma Stone was spotted arriving at ?Live with Regis and Kelly? in New York City this morning (August 11).
The ?Easy A? actress was in the house to plug her new flick ?The Help,? and she looked lovely in a minimalist grey dress with hot Pink heels.
During a recent interview, Emma discussed the fact that many of her peers aren?t aware of the extent of racism as recently as the 1960s.
?I don't know if it's my generation or if it's just me, but I didn't know the levels, the depths, the intricacies ? I didn't know on a day-to-day basis what life was like [then]. I learned a huge amount through the story and through researching the time period more, but I really hope for my generation that they will go see this movie, because I don't know that we know as much as we should about our very recent history.?
?It was an amazing experience across the board, life-wise,? she continued. ?Telling a story that I was so proud to be a part of, getting to meet these women and getting to work with these women ? Did you know there?s a magazine called ?World?s Most Beautiful?? There is, and Kim Kardashian is their first cover girl. The cover is in 3D, in case you care. That?s why Kim is wearing the 3D glasses in some of the photos. But I?m more interested in the photos where you can really see her face. Now, I have long maintained that Kim?s face has gotten a massive overhaul, and that she?s full of Botox, fillers, lip injections and God knows what else. But one thing that I rarely take into account is the fake eyelashes. They give her face such a weird look, right? It?s like she?s attached gigantic tarantulas to her eyes.
By the way, we?re in full countdown mode for Kim?s wedding. It?s next week, on the 20th. Kim has invited every dumb celebrity you can imagine, but I seriously doubt all of them are going to show up. I mean, will Jennifer Lopez come to Kim?s wedding? No, right? And while Kim obsesses over every little detail, it seems like Kris Humphries has just started to realize how deep it?s gotten. Kris tweeted yesterday, ?Time is moving fast.? Ya think? Oh, what will happen if he pulls a runner? He?s the dude version of Charlene Wittstock, I think. The prisoner groom.
What?s worse? Apparently, Kim refused to invite many of Kris?s relatives, and Kris has been fighting with Kim?s mom, Kris Jenner. In Touch Weekly?s insider claims that Kris Jenner is ?a stage mother with a type-A personality. She controls her daughters’ lives, and already she’s trying to control Kris’ as well. She turned into the mother-in-law from hell as soon as Kris proposed.” The insider also has Kris Jenner telling Kris Humphries, ?Kim isn’t becoming a Humphries. You’re becoming a Kardashian. Deal with it!” Poor Kris Humphries.

Kaiser and I were shooting the e-mail breeze this morning trying to figure out what to cover next. She e-mailed me that I could do the new Shanae Grimes pics and I was all “I don’t see them, but maybe I’ll do AnnaLynne McCord since she’s half dressed and there’s not much else” (I’m paraphrasing, which is weird because I may as well just cut and paste.) Then Kaiser responded (this is a cut ‘n paste) “that’s who I meant. Grr… my bad.” I get how it’s easy to confuse them, since they’re both on 90210, but they look totally different. When they’re not on your radar it’s easy to substitute them though.
So here’s AnnaLynne McCord, 24, in a bizarre pea green bikini and knee pads clutching a pugil stick.* I don’t watch the new 90210 so I have no clue about this chick’s character or anything, but just judging from the paparazzi photos taken on set they take her clothes off a lot. Like the last time I reported on McCord, (It was about her new romance with Dominic Purcell of Prison Break, 41, - too old for her!) there were photos of her filming the show in her undies and getting doused with water. Then earlier this year they painted her skin blue and did her up as a sexy Na’vi from Avatar. It looks like producers are trying to fulfill male fantasies with McCords’ outfits. I mean, knee pads? Please.
There are plenty of “candid” bikini pictures of McCord though, so it doesn’t seem like producers are forcing her to show off her tight abs. I notice those first off when I see these pictures, then my eye is drawn to her hair. It’s awful, like they tried to give her a Snooki poof but didn’t straighten it first. No one cares about her hair though when she’s working abs like that.
*Kaiser figured that out for me, I’m slow today.

George Lopez lost his job yesterday. TBS announced that they were canceling his late-night talk show, Lopez Tonight, less than a year after the show got pushed back in favor of Conan O?Brien?s TBS talk show. Did you know Lopez Tonight was only air for two years? It felt like longer, maybe because things that suck always feel like they?re going on forever. Anyway, George is probably already updating his CV and looking for a new job, so this is the perfect time to remind everyone that he?s friends with Sandra Bullock.
George Lopez may be in transition again ? his TBS talk show was canceled this week ? but he knows he can always count on one close friend in particular: Sandra Bullock.
“If it wasn’t for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years,” Lopez, 50, told PEOPLE Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he threw out the first pitch to promote MasterCard’s support of Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Lopez didn’t speak about TBS’s decision ? Lopez Tonight will end its almost two-year run on Thursday ? but he made it clear that without Bullock, he may never have made it to late night TV at all.
“She invested in me, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. And with that, and just who she is, she has my undying love, and my undying loyalty,” he said. “Every day I thank her for believing in me.”
Of course, Lopez is not the only lucky one in the Oscar winner’s life. She now has baby Louis to dote on. “I can only say that I did not have a mother, and I would have very much liked that one to be mine!” Lopez says with a laugh. “She’s already my fairy godmother, but any child that gets to be in Sandra Bullock’s arms is going to be a great person.”
Though his talk show is now over, it certainly sounds like Lopez has a good outlook on life in general.
“I live every day like an 11th grader,” he says. “Not a senior, because then you have to worry about college, but when you’re in 11th grade, you know you’re coming back to the same school with the same friends. So, I try to enjoy myself and live life every day.”

Bullock produced his old sitcom, and they?ve been friends for years. I?m not sure if she can dig him out of this hole, though. In the past few years, Lopez has had several personal and professional problems. There were lots of rumors about how he was screwing hookers behind his wife?s back (the same wife who gave him a kidney), and then he and his wife split up shortly after that report. Then, there were all of the problems with his show, which was at best hacky, and at worst, rude and dysfunctional. So, am I reading this interview correctly? Is this Lopez?s plea to Bullock to give him a job?

Sorry, but I couldn’t decipher a word of that sentence. It might as well have been written in Chinese. She?s enjoying her newlywed status these days, and Kate Moss chatted about her wedding this summer for her September 2011 cover issue of Vogue magazine.
The British supermodel explained her reasoning behind asking John Galliano to dress her for the occasion. "[I wanted] a classic Galliano, those chiffon 30s kind... I've lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable."
As for her wedding day jitters, Kate shared, "If I didn't have my friends... I don't know how people do it. I've had big birthday parties, and I've thrown parties for other people, but this is a completely different thing. It's the Met Ball! Because you have to look at every piece of cutlery; the details are intense. And then you wake up thinking about the ballet shoes for the girls; is the satin ribbon right? I've gone mental."
Moss revealed that she finally decided to get hitched to her hubby Jamie Hince while watching a documentary called ?Big Fat Gypsy Weddings.? "I am so romantic about Gypsies. They're not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at 16. You can't believe the dresses. They're like blinging butterflies times 10; they can't move down the aisle! It's so genius. Church drama: She had originally wanted to get married in the enchanting twelfth-century church at the bottom of her garden, but as it proved too small even for her intimate wedding party (138 guests have been invited to the church ceremony; 39 of those are children), she decided on St. Peter?s Church, in the neighboring village of Southrop, where Lila Grace, her eight-year-old daughter with journalist Jefferson Hack, was christened.
The mood Kate was aiming for: ?I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus,? says Kate. ?The Great Gatsby. The code name was GG for a while. That light and that kind of fun decadence. It?s rock-?n?-roll Great Gatsby!? There will be Edwardian marquees in her field and a circus tent for the children, with a miniature drum kit and their own DJ and tepees for them to sleep in. A stage is being built by hand, ?which I?m going to keep for festivals for the future,? she explains.
The bridesmaids & flower girls: There are sixteen bridesmaids and flower girls, ages two to fourteen. ?They are so good together,? says Kate. The children all clearly adore Kate the den mother; she loves nothing more than having her own houses in town and country thronging with them. She even installed a swing in her London dressing room but packed away the precious clothes after they started seeing a bit too much wear and tear.
Kate?s daughter: Lila Grace is very much in control as she corrals the other children and then executes some dance moves to entertain them (she has a ballet performance on the weekend). Her mother?s friends laughingly compare her to Absolutely Fabulous?s Saffy, the studious, long-suffering daughter to Kate?s giddy Edina. ?Mummy, are you stressed?? she asks solicitously at one point.
The dress: In the flurry of pre-wedding madness and nerves, the one thing that is keeping Kate sane is the dress. With characteristic loyalty, she has asked her beleaguered friend John Galliano to work on this. ?When I put the dress on, I?m really happy,? says Kate. ?I forget about everything.? She wanted ?a classic Galliano, those chiffon thirties kind. I?ve lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But it?s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work that?s going into the dress!? They discussed everything on the phone, and then, when John was out of rehab for the first of four marathon fittings, he brought her ?bags full of bits, and pulled tulle and sequins and veils and flowers out. And then we just kind of pinned things together, like the old days, you know??
Everyone waits for Naomi Campbell: Naomi, in a flurry of lemon-yellow Givenchy gauze, is the last to arrive, so all is right with the world (?Trying to upstage me, bitch?? says Kate, laughing).
The end: At a quarter to five (a.m.) Kate reappears, looking like a Pre-Raphaelite wood sprite in the diaphanous silk-tulle 1930s wedding dress that Katy England found for her bachelorette party, and proceeds to execute an exuberant tango. Everyone?s mother is still on the dance floor. (At her bachelorette weekend, ?my mum was the last to leave,? says Kate, laughing. ?The last man standing, my mum was!?)

Haha, Kate is lucky she didn?t get a face full of phone for calling Naomi a bitch to her face. Hysterical. Honestly, though, I?m not a wedding person, but Kate?s wedding looks and sounds so beautiful and lovely. I think that?s the good part about getting married well into your 30s - you know your own personality, you know what you want, you have your priorities straight, and you can give yourself a great, unique wedding.

Gearing up for a beach jousting scene, AnnaLynne McCord was spotted on the set of ?90210? in Los Angeles yesterday (August 10).
The CW cutie looked like she was ready for battle in her green two-piece swimsuit as she put on her game face for the cameras.
?90210? kicks off the new season on September 13th at 8pm, and this time around there won?t be such a long lull midway through the year.
The CW has given Miss McCord & Co. two extra episodes to help cut down the December/January rerun period.

Treating herself to a gourmet meal, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at Mr. Chow restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday (August 10).
The ?Georgia Rule? girl donned a see-through black top/vest combo and showed off a little more than she bargained for as she headed inside the popular eatery.
And it seems LiLo has been trying to get the attention of Coldplay bass player Guy Berryman as of late- she followed him to Chicago to see the band?s Lollapalooza performance over the weekend.
After the gig, Lindsay hit up the Coldplay/Grey Goose after party and made her romantic intentions known to Guy. Lohan also tweeted, ?I love Coldplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W/my sis.?

Kate Hudson stepped out with son Ryder earlier this week without (gasp!) putting on any makeup, and the paparazzi went wild in response. Seriously and as a rule, I generally don’t like Kate’s movies, but I do love that she occasionally goes outside without bothering to put on makeup. It makes me feel prettier, somehow. Anyway, Kate also recently (while she was still pregnant with Matt Bellamy’s child) took part in a very airbrushed photoshoot and interview with Elle magazine. In the interview, Kate promotes the launch of her new jewelry line, CH+KH, with her good friend Laurie Lynn Stark of Chrome Hearts. The line (which you can see more of here) is very bohemian, 1970s vintage-inspired and quite aquamarine heavy. In the meantime, Hudson also doles out a few tidbits that are of interest for us gossip-leaning types:
On Whether She’ll Marry Matt Bellamy: One thing at a time. We’ll say hello to our new one and enjoy that for a while.
On Maintaining A Long-Distance Relationship: “Most relationships I’ve had in my life have been with people who travel quite a bit for work,” Hudson says. “I don?t know if I’m attracted to that specifically. but it is nice to be with somebody who understands having to be on the move.” Although she’s excited to get back to work (among the upcoming projects she?s involved in is a Linda Lovelace biopic), she concedes that logistics are “definitely getting harder. You have to think about things like, ‘Where is it? How long is it going to keep me away from my family”‘ ” She laughs. “But, you know, life moves on. I would never want to be someone who complains and goes, ‘Oh my God, my life is so crazy,’ ” she says. “If you make the best of it, it can be amazing.”
On Turning To Her Mom For Advice: “We’ve definitely had lots of talks about parenting and being a working mom,” she says. “She never hands out unsolicited preachy words of wisdom, though. My parents allowed my brother and I to have our freedom and be ourselves and feel confident in our choices and to make mistakes without too much judgment. I hope that I can do as good a job.”

From what little Hudson says about her relationship with Bellamy, I’m inclined to believe that she’s in no huge hurry to marry him, and she may very well never marry again. After all, her first marriage to Chris Robinson didn’t work out, and her mother and Kurt Russell have been going strong for decades without formally tying the knot, so she might decide to just be like mom in that regard.
At any rate, Kate’s words about parenting and kids being allowed to make mistakes seems like a bit of a cop out; but then again, she’s merely working with (or against) the questions posed by the journalist in question. Regardless of whether or not parents allow kids to make mistakes, kids will do just that regardless. After all, I was raised by very strict parents and still found a few moments to sneak cigarettes and vodka here and there. In short, there is no golden ticket to parenthood, and we’re all flying by the seat of our pants. In raising my own daughter, I feel like there are very definable qualities to “bad” parenting but very loose qualities to “good” parenting, and I hope that I’ll get lucky and fall into the latter category, but only time will tell.

Several days ago, Heather Locklear and her boyfriend of four years, Jack Wagner, made an appearance at a charity event in London. The photos of Heather exiting the event made headlines simply because she was wearing a little black dress that made her boobs look big. Now, people who have had a passing interest in Heather?s career may remember that she?s always had a surprisingly large rack for her slender frame. No matter! The internet was abuzz with boob job rumors. Eh, maybe they?re right, but I don?t see it. Her rack looks real to me, and I think they just got bigger because she gained some weight. Now, her face? that?s a different story. Back in March of this year, I said that she was overdoing the Botox and fillers. I stand by that, but I do think she looks a little deflated now, like she?s eased up on them somewhat.
Anyway, I kind of just wanted to use these photos, but there is news about Heather! In Touch Weekly claims - in this week’s issue - that Heather and Jack Wagner are engaged! It?s probably not true, though. Back in February, there was another round of engagement rumors, and Jack told E! News, ?I think if you’ve been together as long as we’ve been together and you’re not married, it’s like, What’s going on? Is this Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell? The reality is she has a 13-year-old daughter and I have a 16-year-old son. To try to put two families together, everything has to be in place to do that. It’s more about?doing the right thing for the kids. That’s kind of what our focus is right now.” So I doubt anything has changed since then, but here?s hoping! I would love it if they got married. I love them together.

Kim Kardashian keeps telling people that she wants her wedding to be comparable to the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William. She views herself as an American princess, and she?s using the royal wedding as her scale, her dream, her aspiration for how her wedding will be. Sure, you could be offended by that. But why not just laugh? It?s just funny. Anyway, I brought that up because one of the things that made me respect our Duchess Kate was that she gave her sister Pippa a really beautiful maid of honor gown. Kate, in a bout of amazing graciousness on HER day, let her sister look lovely. Do you think Kim will do the same for her bridesmaids?
These are new photos of Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian arriving at Vera Wang?s NYC shop for their dress fittings. Neither of them look happy! Neither of them arrived looking very good to start with, and I imagine the mood went even further downhill when the fittings began. Of course Vera Wang makes beautiful gowns. But I?m just guessing that Kim picked the worst of the best. There are already some details about the dresses - they seem to be a weird pinky-eggplant color, and they?re short.
Should we even discuss what Khloe and Kourtney wore to the fitting? Which is worse? I can?t even decide. I guess Khloe?s is worse, because I can see how Kourtney may have fooled herself into thinking she looked cute (she doesn?t). But Khloe! Jesus, girl. Hot Pink harem/hammer Capri pants in the form of a JUMPSUIT?!? How does so much unflattering fugness go into ONE jumpsuit?

Since I don?t watch Glee, the only exposure I?ve had to Dianna Agron is through her budget styling on various red carpets, and her sketchy association with her ex-boyfriend, Alex Pettyfer. It?s the Pettyfer thing that I always remember for Dianna - she started dating Alex when they worked together in 2009, he was supposedly very controlling and kind of crazy and aggressive, and then he freaked out on Sebastian Stan because he thought Sebastian and Dianna were fooling around, and then Dianna dumped Alex.
After they broke up, Dianna and her little friends ran around to the tabloids and gave them lots of quotes about how awful Alex was and is, how he basically stalked her and how he?s a predator who shouldn?t be allowed near innocent little blonde girls. Then, oddly enough, Dianna immediately coupled up with guess who? Sebastian Stan! Suddenly, Alex looked less like a psycho and more like a dude who was pissed that his girlfriend was screwing around on him, and then he got even more pissed off when the cheating ex-girlfriend publicly maligned him in the press. Look, I?m not saying that Alex isn?t a crazy d-bag. I?m just saying that Dianna played a really obvious game to keep her good-girl reputation intact, and that makes me doubt everything about her.
Anyway, she?s the September cover girl for Cosmopolitan. I absolutely hate her hair. It?s so much like that horrible haircut and dye job that Faith Hill did a decade ago that nearly destroyed her career. This hair ages Dianna too - it?s just terrible. Thus far, Cosmo has only released one quote from the interview:
“It’s really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan. She’s an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life,” Agron says. ?They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don’t want that to happen to me.”

Yes, Linnocent?s biggest problem is that people know too much about her?? I understand what Dianna was trying to say - she was standing up for mystery, acknowledging that people are more likely to watch celebrities whose lives are not open books. It?s a valid point, and I agree. But Linnocent isn?t the example to use.
Has anyone ever noticed how she looks like old-school Britney?

Having the time of her life over the past week, Alessandra Ambrosio was back on the beaches of Maui, Hawaii on Wednesday (August 10).
The Victoria's Secret supermodel was all smiles as she showed off her fit bikini body while doing a little Pacific Ocean paddleboarding with her fiance Jamie Mazur and a few friends.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Ambrosio made the trip to the Aloha State with her man and their daughter, Anja Louise, back on August 3rd.
The family has certainly been making the most of their time in the island locale while partaking in all of the waterbound activities including surfing, kayaking and snorkeling adventures.

Treating her millions of loyal fans to a brand new offering, Taylor Swift has debuted the music video for her hit single "Sparks Fly".
The 21-year-old country superstar's latest visual accompaniment was directed by Christian Lamb while intertwining footage from her Speak Now tour.
Tweeting about the just-released music video, Miss Swift wrote, "The 'Sparks Fly' music video debuts today at 4:30 CDT on taylorswift.com. I hope you like it!"
As for her current doings, Taylor is fresh off of a big night weekend at the 2011 Teen Choice awards - where she took home five surfboards in the categories of Choice Music: Female Artist, Choice Music: Female Country Artist, Choice Music: Country Single (for 'Mean'), Choice Break-Up Song (for 'Back to December') and Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon.
Swift also was presented with Ultimate Choice honors for her career accomplishments.
