Here are some photos of Blake Lively filming Gossip Girl in NYC yesterday. She had two costume changes (that I see), and she seemed to be filming exterior scenes with Chace Crawford and then with her character?s possible love interest (?), played by Barry Watson (who I kind of love in general). I can?t even verbalize how much I love the blue dress. God, that?s so pretty. It would look like hell on me, but on Blake, it?s kind of perfect. I also love that when she wasn?t filming full-length shots, she switched out her high heels and put on flats. Atta girl.
Allegedly, Blake has a new interview in the British magazine More ? likely promoting Savages. Here are some highlights:
Blake on her insecurities: “I have insecurities like any girl. I used to be really shy and unconfident. I hated being tall. Walking the red carpet is so scary, so I pretend to be Marilyn Monroe – someone who owned their sexuality and projected this incredible aura of self-confidence.?
Style pressure: ?There’s a lot of pressure to constantly find the best designer outfits. As a teenager, my mum was constantly after me to dress better. She encouraged me to dress up and discover my own style. I love fashion and shopping though, just like any girl.”
She still claims she doesn?t exercise: “I don’t exercise, but I will start one day. I’m 24 now, so I guess I’ve been very, very lucky that it doesn’t show that I like to eat. I should probably start working out I guess!”
What she looks for in a man: “When I look for a partner there has to be a strong connection. He needs to be my best friend, whether he’s macho or sensitive – it doesn’t matter. He also has to make me laugh. I enjoy someone who’s a lot of fun to be with. He also needs to be kind, patient, caring and not take himself too seriously. And of course, he needs to appreciate my cooking! I’m very domestic.”
She thinks cooking is sexy: “I really like to cook. Cooking makes me feel sexy. I think there’s something so sensual about it – the smells, the touches, the flavours, the experience of creating something,” she explained. “And you know, when you’re doing it with someone you love, creating that together, I think it’s really attractive.”
She can?t wait to have babies: “I want to be a mom someday. I’m upset that my nieces and nephews aren’t my own children,” she sighed. “It’s something I can’t wait for and I’m so excited about.”

Blake is really putting herself out there has a domestic goddess/girly-girl/wife-material, right? All of this talk about food and babies and shopping? it feels like Blake has stepped out of the 1950s. That?s never really occurred to me before ? Blake IS very retro, isn?t she? Heidi explained, ?We had some cowards on the show... the next day we picked up the designers and two were missing... one person was very intimidated by the other designers.?

Kaiser pointed me to this story in the NY Post on Jenny McCarthy packing up her house in L.A. to move to Chicago. Her rep says she’s not moving in with her boyfriend of a whole few months, Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, but you know she’s doing it to be closer to him. Jenny grew up in Chicago so it’s possible that she’s moving her son Evan, 10, closer to his grandparents, aunts and cousins. So in that respect it might be a good move for her and Evan. On the other side, she’s moving her kid away from his school and friends so she can be closer to her boyfriend of less than a year. She’s already said that Evan misses her ex boyfriend, Jim Carrey, so much that he’s in therapy for it. So is this fair to him? Here’s more:

Well it will be cheaper for Jenny in Chicago too that’s for sure. She said that she didn’t get “50 million or 25 million” from Jim Carrey after they split and joked that she was “living in a van down by the river.” She’ll be able to live in a much nicer place on the river in Chicago. I love that city. It does seem foolish to move so fast after she started dating someone, but at least she has family nearby.

Last month, before Katie Holmes made the brilliant personal and professional move to divorce Tom Cruise, John Travolta was fueling the latest Scientology PR crisis. Only people weren’t focusing so much on what a destructive cult Scientology is, they were just speculating that Scientology’s hatred of gay people had pushed Travolta into living a lie in a sham marriage. All the lawsuits against Travolta for forcing himself on various service professionals were making people wonder if he was so angry at being deep in the closet that he was acting out by preying on innocent men. Well the press forgot about Travolta in the wake of the sensational TomKat divorce, and all the subsequent news about Scientology the followed. But Travolta and his Cos bride Kelly Preston want us to know that unlike Tom and Katie everything’s fine with them! They went on a vacation to Mykonos, Greece, which incidentally has a thriving gay scene from what I’ve heard. Here’s the story from Radar, which also has a photo of the two of them in Greece. Putting his embarrassing masseur sex scandal firmly behind him, John Travolta has taken wife Kelly Preston on vacation, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the couple enjoying their Euro trip.
The 58-year-old Grease star and his 49-year-old wife are enjoying some much needed R & R on the stunning Greek island of Mykonos, which is famous for its vibrant bar and nightclub scene and nude beaches!
Fortunately, the Hollywood couple was fully clothed when they walked hand-in-hand down the paved streets of the vacation spot that is known as the “gay capital of the Mediterranean,” before stopping in at a local cafe for lunch.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, John and Kelly’s 21-year marriage was rocked by repeated rumors that he made highly innapprioate sexual moves while getting in-room massages by men, with the Scientologist actor’s attorney describing a lawsuit against Travolta as “malicious prosecution.”

Gotta keep up appearances. This is the second known vacation for the couple in the wake of the scandal. They went to Hawaii in June, where they were also conveniently photographed. Their makeup trip was chronicled by the tabloids, with In Touch taking the “romantic reconciliation” stance and Enquirer the more realistic “Kelly’s hell.” I feel like Kelly enjoys playing happy family, that it’s something she’s bought into entirely, and that John appreciates her kind of glassy-eyed devotion. Kelly isn’t going to slap John with surprise divorce papers, even if she finds him in bed with a willing male participant.

These are some newish photos of Halle Berry on the downtown LA set of her latest film, The Hive, yesterday. I think these photos were taken relatively early in the day on Tuesday, because later on in the day, Halle was injured on the set. It wasn?t just a light boo-boo either ? according to sources, Halle was ?rushed to Cedars-Sinai? around 10 pm. Radar says that Halle ?either fell or was hit by a falling object.? TMZ says Halle ?hit her head on concrete after taking a nasty fall.?
Whatever happened, it sounds like a head injury, which reminded CB of Natasha Richardson?s devastating (and then fatal) head injury back in 2009. While my gut says that Halle?s situation isn?t like Natasha?s, head injuries and concussions can be very tricky and it?s good that producers got Halle to the hospital quickly. Have you ever been struck on your head? I have. Head injuries always bleed like a motherf?er too. Send positive thoughts to Halle!
PS? On a superficial note, Halle is not wearing a wig in these photos ? she actually cut her hair like that.

Sporting a huge smile, Kristin Davis was spotted signing autographs before heading into the "Good Morning America" studios to talk about her latest acting adventure in New York City, New York on Tuesday (July 17).
After greeting fans outside, the "Sex in the City" star swapped her orange dress for a red one but decided to keep her animal print wedges on as she joined John Stamos and Cybil Shepard to talk about headlining Gore Vidal's Broadway show "The Best Man".
Talking about having a part in the Tony nominated political drama, Davis admitted, "It's very scary. I didn't sleep for a couple weeks." adding, "It's literally like every single person in the play is so amazing and you have such respect for them that you just don't want to mess up."
Explaining how she messed up during the play, Kristin said, "For whatever reason, I think it was our first night, my mind just totally blanked, totally blanked. There's a bunch of people in the scene, John [Stamos] is not there to help me Cybil [Shepard] I'm supposed to be interrupting so it was hard for her to help me and Angela [Lansbury] started, she just started saying her lines over and over again, what ever I needed, it was like the sweetest thing."
During the interview Stamos and Davis revealed a surprising bit of information when asked what it's like playing husband and wife on stage together, John joked "Sex in the City", before admitting, "I've never seen 'Sex in the City'"," at which point Kristin piped in, "And I've never seen 'Full House'".
