In The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift devoted two songs to her eight-years-long beef with Kim Kardashian. It?s particularly telling, to me at least, that Taylor is still so mad at Kim specifically. I don?t doubt that Taylor still has a lot of smoke for Kanye West, but she?s not devoting whole-ass songs about how much she despises Ye. Is he too ?easy? a target for Taylor? Kanye destroyed his own life and brand already he?s a Nazi pariah, and he?s now unwelcome in the elite spaces he craves. If Taylor went after Ye, it would likely be seen as punching down. Plus, he would love the attention. So? she goes after Kim. Kim hasn?t said one word about Taylor on the record since 2019, when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live and said that everyone involved had ?moved on.? Taylor was mad about that too, and she?s spent the past five years referencing Kim in interviews and music. In any case, Kim still isn?t saying anything on the record, but a ?source? has something to say about it:
The release of Taylor Swift?s The Tortured Poets Department has reignited interest in the feud between the singer and Kim Kardashian. On ?thanK you aIMee, Swift sings about facing bullying, and the lyrics, coupled with the capitalization of the three letters in the title (KIM), led fans to think that the song is a dig at the SKIMS founder.
A source tells PEOPLE of Kardashian?s response to the track: ?She?s over it and thinks Taylor should move on.?
Kardashian ?doesn?t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it,? the source says. ?It?s been literally years.?
In the chorus of ?thanK you aIMee,? Swift sings, ?All that time you were throwin? punches, I was buildin? somethin? / And I can?t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ?F you, Aimee? to the night sky, as the blood was gushin/ But I can?t forget the way you made me heal.
Later, she changes the chorus to sing: All that time you were throwin punches, it was all for nothin / An our town, it look so small from way up here / Screamed Thank you, Aimee to the night sky and the stars are stunnin / Cause I cant forget the way you made me heal.
The song also references Swift removing any real defining clues about who the song is about, along with her admitting, I changed your name, which fans believed to be a reference to the song exploring her rift with Kardashian.

Don?t get me wrong, I am also a champion grudge-holder. I?m still holding on to grudges from decades ago. I have a memory like a steel trap for people who have wronged me. But my seething hatred for my enemies is contained, because I would never, ever give my enemies (especially Laura Fking Dern) the satisfaction of knowing that I carry these grudges with me. That?s what I don?t get about Taylor, honestly. Maybe it?s a Sagittarius thing for her versus a Virgo thing for me. Taylor is always so eager to paint herself as the heroine-victim, she has to let everyone know that she?s still thinking about that one person who wronged her eight years ago. Why give Kim the satisfaction of knowing that? That Taylor is still haunted by it, still writing songs about it, still torn up about it? In a very limited sense about this one siloed situation, I genuinely think Kim has handled this whole thing correctly for years, by refusing to apologize and largely ignoring Taylor. And Taylor hasn?t handled it correctly.

Taylor Swift?s The Tortured Poets Department was released last night. It was a ?surprise double album,? full of songs about Joe Alwyn and Matt Healy and? at least one song about Kim Kardashian. That?s right. Kim hasn?t mentioned Taylor?s name in years and years. Kim divorced Kanye West and she?s raising her kids and existing as the billionaire co-founder of Skims. Meanwhile, Taylor is writing and singing overwrought songs about how? Kim tortured her for years (Kim did not) and Kim bullied her at school (??) and how Kim?s kids sing Taylor?s songs (they do, and I bet Kim laughs). Behold, Taylor?s ?thanK you aIMee.? Yes, that?s the way she capitalized ?KIM? in the song title. The queen of obvious-but-pretend-it?s-subtext.
I figured all of this was not over when Taylor once again tried to rewrite ?the canceling of 2016? in her Time Magazine Person of the Year profile. As I said in my coverage at the time, I don?t want Tree Paine on my ass, but if Taylor is going to keep doing this, so can I. Taylor said, in that Time interview, that she holds Kim responsible for her ?career death? with a ?fully manufactured frame job.? All because Kim exposed Taylor for misrepresenting one specific thing. That?s it. A fact which I wouldn?t have to keep bringing up except Taylor has spent the past eight years trying to rewrite, reengineer and reimagine it, shifting the goalposts and expecting her fans to do the heavy lifting.
As for the song itself? I find it overwrought, and knowing the actual history, it?s actually really funny that Taylor is still torn up about it. I hope Kim takes it as a compliment, that she?s still on Taylor?s mind all these years later. I changed your name and any real defining clues. And one day, your kid comes home singin a song that only us two is gonna know is about you. Okay but also? maybe leave Kim?s children out of it?

Here are some photos from the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. This event was as well-attended as the Oscars, I swear. Kim Kardashian got a lot of attention for wearing this 2024 version of the ?bandage dress.? The old version was Herve Leger, but I haven?t seen an ID for this one. Kim occasionally does ?wet look? hair and I hate to admit it, but she sort of pulls it off. I mean, she looks like a plastic Barbie doll left in the pool, but she also just looks pulled-together and pretty. Her date was her momager Kris Jenner.
Elon Musk was there. He looked like a needy ahole begging for attention. Growing up, I used to think being a billionaire must be so cool. If anything, Musk shows everyone that you can have more money than God and still be the biggest fking loser.
Brie Larson wore Chanel she has this thing where she?ll wear something interesting or offbeat, but she somehow makes it look so boring.
Jessica Chastain looks sort of like a game-show hostess but I love the color.
Venus Williams is a literal GODDESS and she was my pick for best dressed of the event.
Last people: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Katy wore Coperni. I swear, about five other women wore versions of this dress. Michelle Yeoh kept it simple and elegant; Glenn Close wore a shiny jumpsuit; and I kind of like this version of Maria Sharapova, where she has dark hair and looks like hell.

The color scheme for this year?s Vanity Fair Oscar party backdrop was so weird and dated this year basically a mustard-orange and a muted red. Basically, people who wore white really ?popped,? and everyone else kind of clashed. Speaking of, Kim Kardashian wore a surprisingly great Balenciaga gown to this year?s VF Oscar party. I love the neckline, don?t hate me. Her styling is good as well a sort of brunette Veronica Lake, with decent makeup.
Kylie Jenner wore Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Call me crazy, but I like this? She looks good. Don?t get me wrong, she looks like she?s already had more plastic surgery than Kim. But she looks okay.
Kendall Jenner wore Maison Margiela Haute Couture. I like this? It?s flattering and it looks like a typical Oscar party dress.
And the matriarch of this wretched clan, Kris Jenner.

I totally forgot that Kim Kardashian used to be and still is obsessed with Elizabeth Taylor. I mean, same Elizabeth Taylor was an amazing woman who lived a huge life full of drama, marriages, affairs, Oscars, diamonds, perfume, activism and more. Kim wishes! Kim actually got to meet Elizabeth Taylor in 2011 when she was sent to Taylor?s home to interview her. That was actually Elizabeth Taylor?s final interview. In any case, Kim is now executive producing a BBC docuseries on the life and times of Liz Taylor. Kim will appear in it too.
BBC Arts has commissioned Academy Award-winning production firm Passion Pictures (Searching for Sugar Man, Wham!) to make a three-part documentary series on Elizabeth Taylor, executive produced by and featuring Kim Kardashian. The BBC unveiled the project with the working title Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar on Monday, noting that Taylor is ?one of Hollywood?s most famous names.?
Executive produced by Kari Lia, Hamish Fergusson and Kardashian, the series promises to feature ?privileged access to those who knew her best, including members of Elizabeth Taylor?s family, friends, and colleagues from throughout her stellar career.? And it vows to shine the spotlight on ?a superstar who transformed not just Hollywood but fame itself, as she went from child star to highest-paid actress in the world.?
A show description also highlights: ?For too long the story of Elizabeth Taylor has been told as a soap opera. The eight marriages, the diamonds, the addictions. This series gives Elizabeth Taylor the significance she richly deserves, in all her incarnations: as an actor, rebel, business mogul, and activist ? to reveal how Taylor created the blueprint for modern celebrity.?
The series will take a deep dive into the legendary star?s craft and technique as an actor and ?how she reinvented the nature of fame, even as she smashed the glass ceiling in Hollywood, before going on to become a billion-dollar businesswoman, activist and advocate.?
The series promises to ?draw on never-before-heard audio tapes, interviews, and unseen TV footage, alongside rich archive of her movies.? It will also feature interviews with a range of stars who knew Taylor personally, including Kardashian, ?who conducted the last interview with her before she died, Dame Joan Collins, a friend and Hollywood contemporary who competed with Elizabeth for the role of Cleopatra, Margaret O?Brien, who went to school with her on the MGM backlot, close friend Carole Bayer Sager, leading scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci who worked alongside Elizabeth in the fight against AIDS, and others.?

I wonder if they?ll interview Colin Farrell, who was a dear friend to Elizabeth in her final years she absolutely adored him and said that she saw a lot of Richard Burton in him. As for the docuseries? I know I should yell about this and I guess we should be disgusted at Kim or something? but I don?t hate it? The summary is correct Elizabeth Taylor did it first, she broke through so many glass ceilings, she was a huge AIDS activist, she used her fame to create wildly popular side-gigs like her perfume lines, and she did love to get married. I actually hope Kim helps introduce Generation TikTok to Elizabeth Taylor because they will be gagged.

Paris Fashion Week is still in full swing, and Kim Kardashian?s in town now. Kylie and Kris Jenner have been in Paris for days, and they already attended the Valentino show and Jean Paul Gaultier show (where Kylie ?looked old?). On Thursday, Kris, Kim and Kylie headed out to the Maison Margiela show and they all got fresh looks from the fashion house.
Kim obviously got ?the best? look, I guess. It?s sort of glam/goth and her styling is good here. I prefer Kim with black hair and sort of ?Cher? styling (she loves Cher). The necklace is OTT but it?s fine, it?s supposed to look straight from the runway. Kylie got a silver sequined dress which isn?t bad, although I wouldn?t have gone tea length with it. Kylie?s shoes are horrendous, they look like something Minnie Mouse would wear. Kris looks like her daughters? bodyguard. They?re so funny.
Kylie seems to be doing a copypasta of Kim?s whole aesthetic from several years ago, right? The wet-hair, the heavy makeup, the living doll look.

A few years ago, Kim Kardashian appeared in a Balenciaga print-ad campaign. She didn?t do it for the money, she just did it because she loves Balenciaga, she?s friends with creative director Demna Gvasalia and she loves that these huge labels actually want her to wear their clothes. Kim?s Balenciaga ad campaign blew up in her face a year later, when Balenciaga did a separate campaign which seemed to glorify child abuse and violence. Kim was forced to make a public statement about how she was outraged and disgusted by it. After that? she continued to wear Balenciaga. She continued to be friends with Demna. And now she?s officially the brand ambassador for Balenciaga.
After Kim Kardashian cut ties with Balenciaga in 2022 following backlash in response to a campaign depicting children in questionable light, the beauty brand billionaire is now the face of the luxury fashion house.
The Kardashians star, who has worn the Balenciaga to the Met Gala and walked in one of their Paris Fashion Week shows, was named brand ambassador of the longstanding French fashion house Monday.
For several years now, Balenciagas designs have been a part of my many looks ? and some of my most iconic fashion moments. This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under Demna, Kardashian said Monday in a statement shared on her Instagram Story.
For me, this long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and a commitment to doing whats right. Im excited about this next chapter for the brand and to become their ambassador, Kardashian continued.

What?s crazy about this is still the fact that Kim doesn?t actually need any of this she doesn?t need the money, nor does she even need the ?prestige? of being a brand ambassador for a French label. At this point, all of those designers want Kim to wear their designs. That being said, Kim really does wear so much Balenciaga these days, maybe she was just like ?fk it, I should get paid for this.? I wonder about her brand ambassadorship contract though, and whether it?s anything like her print-ad campaign contract from two years ago. Back then, she was not contractually bound to wear Balenciaga on every red carpet or every event. I wonder if it?s the same now.

Imagine spending all of that time, money, effort and energy transforming your body into a plastic doll with a tiny waist and an oversized ass, only to wear one of the most unflattering dresses ever. So it is with Kim Kardashian. Kim attended the big Baby2Baby Gala over the weekend, alongside many other celebrities, actresses, socialites, etc. Baby2Baby has become one of the biggest charities attracting big-names, especially in LA. Kim has attended the gala before and, to her credit, she seems to give a sh-t about the good cause. Kim wore this Balenciaga dress which just shows you that even with an A-list label, not every look is a serve. This is just? not a good dress, at all. Kim made it much worse by doing ?wet look? hair as well.
Salma Hayek looked great in green seriously, this is such a flattering dress and color for her. Salma was honored with the Giving Tree Award.
Chrissy Teigen?s dress was actually pretty good, but she needs to stop with the plastic surgery.
Ayesha Curry is so pretty, and the color of this dress really pops (although the design is meh).
Kirsten Dunst looked good in a weird dress! Jesse Plemons has lost so much weight!
Lori Harvey, fresh from her breakup with Damson Idris, flew solo at the event. The dress doesn?t look comfortable and Lori looks like she?s thinking ?are the girls about to pop out???

Kim Kardashian celebrated her 43rd birthday over the weekend with a big party at Funke in Beverly Hills. Almost all of her sisters came out, as did Kris Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Kimora Lee, Lauren Sanchez and others. Notably, Ivanka Trump also came out. I hate the fact that Kim and Ivanka are still friendly. During the ?Trump administration,? their friendship seemed like a political convenience, one which would be over once Trump was out of the White House. The fact that they still hang out? it sucks. Ivanka and her husband need to be in prison.
Kim?s dress here in Balenciaga. It wouldn?t have been my choice for Kim or for a birthday party at a restaurant, but she looks good. She?s ?kept off the weight,? by hook or by crook. Khloe also looks pretty good these days I mean, she looks plastic AF and I barely recognized her, but her body looks great.
There was also some sister drama at the party Kourtney didn?t come to the party, and the official excuse is that Kourtney is too pregnant and she needed bed rest (which I actually believe). So, no Kourtney in Kim?s IG carousel. Two things are true: Kourtney had a legit reason to skip, and Kim and Kourtney are truly beefing right now, maybe they have been for years.

Here are some photos from last night?s Kering Foundation?s Caring For Women event. This was attached to New York Fashion Week, and this is why Kim Kardashian has been in New York this week. Kim has really been cozying up to Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos? fiancee, as this is easily the fifth or sixth time they?ve attended the same event or been seen together in recent months. Sanchez was also at this event. Kim?s dress is Balenciaga many women wore Balenciaga to this event (because Kering owns Balenciaga).
Lauren Sanchez wore Dolce & Gabbana Big Bird vibez.
Speaking of big feathered birds, Nicole Kidman wore this pale, feathered number. It was? a lot. The hair is not doing her any favors here.
Karlie Kloss looked amazing in her tuxedo. Olivia Wilde looked like bedraggled ass in her tuxedo.
Malala and Asser! They?re so beautiful together.
Salma Hayek brought some bombshell energy to the event (she?s married to the CEO of Kering).
