Selena, who was a first-timer to the annual event, was greeted by Lea Michele who said to her, “You’re going to love this!” Lea and Selena buddied up throughout the day, both enjoying massages at the Caudalie booth.
At one point, the strap on Selena’s shoe broke off, but she was quickly given a pair of TKEES sandals. “They match my dress; I love them,” said Selena.

As fascinating as she is fashionable, Katie Holmes is featured on the front page of the February 2016 issue of More magazine.
The darling ?Dawson?s Creek? dame wears minimal makeup in her photo spread while discussing her perfect pack of peers- "I like to be around people who make me learn something. I gravitate toward people who are doing things I don't know how to do. [Being intimidated] is a waste of time. Just ask if you don't know something. Ask. You're probably going to make a mistake. Get over it ? Some problems are never going to be solved. So dance them off, and you'll feel better."
As for her experience directing herself in ?All We Had,? Katie gushes, "[It] was like a marathon, but I didn't have time to second-guess myself. And it wasn't going to do anyone any good if I did. I stay calm. 'Oh, we only have one camera today? I thought we had two. OK, adjust.' It's similar to, 'We have no food at home, and you have to eat something soon. I have crackers in the bottom of my purse?that'll buy me 20 minutes.' Ha! You keep going, no matter what.'"

Jennifer Aniston gave an exclusive interview to People Magazine for this week?s issue. Is she promoting a film project? No. She is not. Considering there?s a prominent photo of a SmartWater bottle within People Mag?s story, and considering Aniston is referred to as ?the smartwater sparkling spokesperson,? I suspect this is just a small, paid shill/infomercial, although Aniston herself doesn?t name-drop SmartWater in the interview. There?s also another possibility ? Kung Fu Panda 3 came out this week. I?m just sayin?. And it goes both ways ? both women like to do some thunder-stealing when the other one has a film out. Anyway, this People interview. Aniston?s big life goal: she wants to wear bikinis into her 80s.
She’s nearly 47 years old, but Jennifer Aniston isn’t planning to hang up her two-piece bathing suit any time soon.
“If I can be the first 80-year-old to go out there successfully in a bikini, then I’ll take that on,” the sun-loving actress tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue.
And why not? “I don’t think anybody needs to rein in anything because of an age,” says Aniston. “That is absolute BS. To each his own! Everybody needs to stay in his own backyard.”
Not to mention, her 40s are shaping up to be the best decade ever for Aniston, who wed longtime love Justin Theroux last August. And newlywed life is “awesome,” says the smartwater sparkling spokesperson. “I love it!”
As for her upcoming birthday (Feb. 11), Aniston might just let that milestone pass without much fanfare.
“Is my birthday happening soon?” she asks with a laugh. “Oh, that’s ridiculous. It’s too soon for that. I’m going to pass this year.” Or, maybe not. “I might just quietly celebrate,” continues Aniston. “But I do love any excuse for a party!”

I think the whole ?you can only wear a bikini until you reach a certain age? thing is mostly an American construct. I see European women wearing bikinis at any age. I see European men wearing Speedos at any age too. While I think that some Americans, mostly long-time beach residents, surfers and the like, feel like ?anything goes, who cares,? there is an obsession in America with being ?bikini ready? or whatever. So on that, Aniston can do what she likes. I agree, who cares? But just the fact that this was the big takeaway from her exclusive People interview is a bit weird.

Sopranos and Entourage star Jamie Lynn Sigler, 34, has worked somewhat steadily for the past few years but it turns out that it’s been extremely difficult for her. In a new interview with People Magazine, she reveals that she’s been suffering from multiple sclerosis for the past 15 years. She has it under control now with medication, but still gets extremely tired doing things many people take for granted. Sigler also admits that she has to concentrate when she walks in order to land her feet properly. She explains that she kept it quiet for so long because she didn’t want it to affect her career. She’s still not positive she’s ready to publicly discuss it. Sigler just married her longterm partner, Washington Nationals baseball player Cutter Dykstra. The couple has a two-year-old son.
Jamie Lynn Sigler… opens up to PEOPLE in this week’s issue about her battle with multiple sclerosis (MS), which she was diagnosed with at 20 years old.
“I wasn’t ready until now,” Sigler says of revealing her illness. “You’d think that after all these years, somebody would be settled with something like this, but it’s still hard to accept.”
Though the Sopranos alum, 34, initially went symptom-free “for quite some time,” the disease, which damages the central nervous system, “reared its ugly head” over the last decade. “I can’t walk for a long period of time without resting. I cannot run. No superhero roles for me,” she says, laughing. “Stairs? I can do them but they’re not the easiest. When I walk, I have to think about every single step, which is annoying and frustrating.”
Working over the years after The Sopranos ended meant covering up her illness. “Sometimes all I needed was like five or 10 minutes to sit and recharge but I wouldn’t ask, because I didn’t want them to be suspicious,” she says. While MS has no cure, Sigler has “run the gamut” with MS drugs including injections and infusions and now takes the twice-daily pill Tecfidera, which has kept her symptoms stable for the past six years.
“Things are manageable now,” she adds. “It takes a fighting attitude to deal with all this. This disease can absolutely take over your life if you let it…
“I’m at a point in my life with my son, with my new marriage, it’s a new me. I don’t want to hold a secret where it feels like I have something to be ashamed of or have something to hide,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s part of me, but it’s not who I am.”

In the video posted on People’s site, Sigler adds “I want to change people’s ideas of what this disease means to them and give people hope that it’s not the end.” She also explains that she had been diagnosed with lyme the year before.
When I was around 30 and was otherwise fit I developed a sudden illness that put me in a wheelchair for about six months. I was dizzy all the time, I couldn’t concentrate and I can very much relate to what Jamie is saying about having to think and focus when you walk. I eventually recovered, having never received a diagnosis (it may have been lyme, I lived in Connecticut and used to hike), and that gives me a lot of empathy for people who battle invisible illnesses. It’s something that’s hard to explain and even I have trouble remembering how awful it was now that I’m doing well again. People see that you look fine and assume you feel fine. My heart goes out to Sigler and good for her for coming out with her diagnosis. It’s the gossip columnist in me, but I do wonder if she got an endorsement deal with a pharmaceutical company, because nearly every article mentions the medication she takes. So far there’s nothing on the website for the drug so there might not be anything to my hunch – not that I would blame her, especially if the medication has worked for her.

When I first saw that Jennifer Lawrence was going to play someone name ?Marita,? I honestly thought Hollywood had gone too far and cast J-Law as a Hispanic woman. But it?s not so. The Marita in question is Ilona Marita Lorenz, a half-German and half-American woman. As a young girl, she lived in WWII-era Nazi Germany and she and her mother were forced into a concentration camp. After the war, Marita traveled with her ship captain father. Marita and her father landed in Havana, Cuba in 1959, just after the Cuban Revolution. She met Fidel Castro when she was just 19 years old, and they began an affair. And there?s a lot more. This is the woman Jennifer Lawrence will be playing.
After starring in a film inspired by the life of Miracle Mop creator Joy Mangano, Jennifer Lawrence is ready to tackle another real-life woman. The actress, who received her fourth Oscar nomination last week, is attached to portray Marita Lorenz in Marita, a hot pitch from Eric Warren Singer, co-writer of American Hustle.
Sony Pictures, moving aggressively, picked up the project from the Oscar-nominated scribe in a competitive situation. Marita centers on Lorenz and how she met and began an affair with Cuban leader Fidel Castro in 1959 when she was 19 years old. After becoming pregnant and having an abortion, Lorenz left Cuba and joined anti-communists in the U.S., where she was recruited by the CIA for an assassination mission. In 1960, she returned to Cuba to carry out the mission but, according to lore, yielded to love.
(Lorenz had quite the life, by the way. She also had an affair with a Venezuelan dictator, claimed to have been involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy and spied on diplomats for the FBI in the 1970s. She wrote two autobiographies and lives in Maryland.)

Do I think Jennifer Lawrence is the ideal candidate to play Marita? No, I do not. Do I think she?s the worst candidate? Not really. It could be much worse. They could have cast Nicole Kidman, you know? My big takeaway is that this is more about the idiot hive-mind of Hollywood, and J-Law is just That Girl, the one who gets the first look at every single female role ages 16 to 45. Every studio head is like ?Get me J-Law!? This sounds like a decent bio-pic, but I would probably be more interested in it if they cast someone else, I guess. You can see a photo of Marita here.

Demi Lovato is all smiles on the cover of the February issue of Allure magazine. The 23-year-old singer, gearing up for a summer tour behind her fifth album “Confident,” opens up to the magazine about her issues with her own confidence, growing up Disney and her current relationship with That 70s Show alum Wilmer Valderrama. The self-confessed Pinterest enthusiast, who admits “I had my wedding planned out when I was ten,” says that ever since she was asked to fix a gap in her teeth when she was cast on Camp Rock, her insecurities grew. Thanks to her friends and her Wilmer, she has truly become more confident. Here are some highlights from the interview:
On triumphing over body image issues: “I’ve never felt as confident in my skin as I do today. A year ago, on tour, almost every inch of my body was covered by clothing, and it was because I was hiding behind so many layers. Once I started feeling better about myself, I felt better about showing more skin. I have insecurities about my arms, so to wear a tank top on stage is extremely liberating for me, and uncomfortable sometimes. It’s also a statement, like, ‘Hey, watch out. You’re no longer getting the insecure Demi that you’ve been getting for the past couple of years. I mean business now.’”
On keeping her private life private: “I don’t want to alienate my love life from the public, because it’s such a huge part of who I am. It’s a balancing act. I can’t always let people in as much as they feel like they deserve to be let in.”
On her relationship with her best friend, Marissa: “Sometimes I’ll isolate a little bit. I won’t reply to people’s text messages, or I’ll just distance myself from everyone unintentionally, and she’s the first one to call me out on it. It’s because I’m going through something. I’m stressed or depressed.”
Behind-the-scenes dish from the set of Barney: “The guy who played Barney was actually hot. In order to be in that giant suit all day, sweating and jumping around, you have to be ripped.”

Barney dirt! “Cool story, bro” aside: I actually met the guy who played Barney and, yeah, he was quite attractive. But I digress, I think Demi has successfully overcome the issues that could have crippled her promising career and I am really happy for her. I’m so excited for The X-Files premiere on Fox, which is this Sunday and Monday. (I just set my DVR!) It’s getting bad reviews, but I watched the movie with the villain who was just a talking head (ok I watched it twice), and I’m going to watch all six episodes of this show no matter what. EW says it stars out poorly but picks up in the third episode, which is good enough for me. (Incidentally, creator Chris Carter wrote the poorly reviewed first episode.) I just love these characters so much and I want to see what happens with them.
As promotion for the show, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson cover Variety. Their quotes about each other remind me of their flirty giggly joint appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, where Anderson was practically falling all over Duchovny. I floated the theory that they’re boning and some of you said it’s been on between them for a while while other people insisted Anderson is just a goofy person. In Varity, they don’t exactly gush about each other but it sounds like they thoroughly enjoy working together. Maybe that’s because it’s on between them!
Duchovny on how much better they get along now
“The crucible of doing that show made monsters out of both of us. Once we got to step back, it was like, ?Oh, wow, we really like each other. I didn?t know that was going to happen.?
?The way we work together has changed. Whatever rapport we have as actors, we earned. It?s nice to be able to play that without ever even feeling like you?re playing it.?
Anderson on working with Duchovny
“Our relationship has definitely become a proper friendship over the last few years. I think we?re more on each other?s side. We?re more aware of the other?s needs, wants, concerns, and mindful to take those into consideration? and just sharing more about our experiences in the moment, under the sudden realization that we?re both in this together, and wouldn?t it be nice if it were a collaboration?”
Duchovny on whether they would do a longer series
“Gillian and I have talked about (doing more episodes), and then we just stop because we get to 2023 and we still haven?t found a date we can do it. It?s like, ?Let?s just wait and see what happens after this,? and then we can start to talk seriously about whether we can make it work again.”
Creator Chris Carter dismisses the bad reviews
“What seemed to be under review was the fact that we were coming back at all. They were reviews of our intentions rather than reviews of the show itself.”

In terms of whether the X-Files will come back on a more permanent basis, I think that’s down to how this six episode arc performs more than to Duchovny and Anderson’s schedules. They’re both busy people but if there’s a big demand I bet they would be open to doing more. Given the negative advance buzz, I’m not hopeful. Still, it’s Anderson, Duchovny and Joel McHale! They’re all highly talented, watchable actors, they just need decent material. That might not even matter if the numbers are good, so we’ll have to wait and see.
