The ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ turned into a nightmare for whichever $8 an hour worker put on the Mickey Mouse costume recently. Christina Aguilera visited Disneyland to celebrate her 34th birthday and naturally, wanted a picture with Mickey Mouse.
Turns out Mickey needed to go on a break right around that time. Shocking! You mean Mickey Mouse can’t stand around for 8 hours straight in the sun? TMZ fills in the rest:

A few weeks ago, part of Madonna?s new album leaked online. The songs were ?stolen? and downloaded by some of the Madonna-loonies, but they really didn?t make a big impact. Like, some people were interested but most of the world just shrugged. Madonna had a hissy fit about it and went WAY overboard complaining about the leaks, comparing it to rape and a ?form of terrorism.? I theorized that she was actually upset about the fact that the song leaks barely had any impact anywhere, that most people didn?t even care.
Well, in any case, several days after those tracks leaked, Madonna released six songs of her new album, Rebel Heart. She released them on iTunes and Amazon, and again, the songs barely made an impact. According to the Daily Mail, there was a ?nosedive? in sales after the first week. The first week had Madonna in 13th place in sales, but now her big single ?Unapologetic Bitch? with Nicki Minaj is down to #188 on iTunes. The single ?Living for Love? is #529 on Amazon. So? yeah, it?s pretty bad. Madonna looks about as musically relevant these days as Milli Vanilli. In addition to all of that, one of the songs (“Two Steps Behind”) is allegedly about Lady Gaga. Which looks pretty bad, because even Gaga’s albums are selling better than Madge’s Rebel Heart. So Madge took to Instagram like the kidz to issue a statement:

… Which isn’t to say Madonna wouldn’t start a girl-on-girl beef if it helped her move some product. But for now, Gaga and Madonna are in similar places, which is to say? struggling with musical relevancy and a changing fanbase. Madonna thought her album release would be like Taylor Swift?s 1989, and it just wasn?t. Sigh? I do feel bad for Madge because she?s such a control freak and she genuinely didn?t want those tracks to leak when they did. That being said, it was probably an inside job because people were concerned about the awfulness of Rebel Heart.

For years now, Mariah Carey makes it a point to spend the Christmas holiday in Aspen. When Mariah was with Nick, they would go to Aspen together and inevitably there would be hilarious photos of a scantily-clad Mariah surrounded by snow banks while Nick was bundled up and looking embarrassed. There was some gossip that Mariah invited Nick to spend this Christmas in Aspen with her and Dem Babies, but the Daily Mail says Nick didn?t come. So Mariah had to put on a solo show in Aspen ? these are photos of Mariah at the Louis Vuitton shop.
Fame/Flynet notes that Mariah was in such a good mood, she deigned to pose for some photos with some fans waiting outside Louis Vuitton. Hand to God, I thought that one blonde woman was Brooke Mueller. RIGHT?! But no. Anyway, it looks like Mariah is wearing/carrying some of her new LV purchases out of the store. That bag is? nice. I mean, I wouldn?t carry it, but I?m sure it appeals to those rich ladies who spend the holidays in Aspen. I also think it?s cute that Mariah is basically about to fall over in her high-heel boots. Her bodyguard is probably on high alert because Mariah wanted to walk in her boots for the ten feet to the car. That?s a disaster waiting to happen.

True story: I kept seeing the headline ?Ariana Grande is ?repulsed? by Santa? and I thought to myself, ?That?s probably because she?s literally the most sardonic person in the world.? And guess what? She literally uses the word ?sardonic? as an explanation for why she?s repulsed by Santa. For real. Literally. Ariana loves the word ?sardonic.? It?s the word she learned in 2014. Anyway, Ariana has a Christmas song called ?Santa Tell Me? ? you can see the video here. Like with most of Ariana?s songs, the lyrics are muddled because chica cannot enunciate to save her life. Maybe that should be her 2015 word: ?enunciate.? To hear Ariana tell it, her silly Christmas song is not a happy, light Christmas pop song though. No, it is dark, grim and (YES) sardonic.
Ariana Grande revealed she is ?repulsed? by Santa Claus. The ?Santa Tell Me? singer opened up about her hit holiday song on Friday and explained that the Christmas tune, in which she asks Santa for help with her love life, is actually ?depressing.?
Grande noted that she isn?t a fan of old St. Nick because of all the past heartbreak and relationship angst she associates with the holidays. ?I?m repulsed by Santa,? she told the Daily Star. ?My song may sound cheerful but its really quite sardonic and depressing. I?m like saying, ?Santa what is your deal bro?’?
The pop star continued, ?I?ve had my heart broken multiple times around this time of year. I feel although it?s one of the most cheerful times of the year, I see tons of heartbreak and they make movies about it. It?s like a (Wham!) Last Christmas vibe.?

Jennifer Lawrence celebrated Christmas in her native Kentucky. She cheered on the Louisville Cardinals basketball team, which unfortunately lost to the Kentucky Wildcats (who had Ashley Judd in the audience). This is a video of her cheering before grabbing a slice of pizza. It always comes down to pizza with JLaw, doesn’t it? The U of Louisville Elle Raiser superfan account has some cute pictures of Jennifer at the game. She sat with her family and did the famous C-A-R-D-S cheer. Chris Martin was nowhere to be seen. Sorry, grandma. On Christmas Eve, she visited a children’s hospital and took pictures with several of the patients.
I hope JLaw enjoys her family holidays, but Hollywood hasn’t forgotten about her. She’s enjoying her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with “The Hanging Tree” from Mockingjay: Part I. Have you heard the techno version of the song? Given the lyrical subject matter, it’s slightly disturbing to hear it on the radio. People are probably dancing to it in clubs, too drunk to notice what the song is about.
Forbes has also crowned Jennifer the top grossing actor of 2014, thanks to the Hunger Games and X-Men franchises. I wouldn’t be surprised if she repeated next year. After that? Who knows. Thanks to Oscar, JLaw is much better positioned for the future than former franchise successes like Kristen Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe, and Sparkles. JLaw earned indie cred before going mainstream while the others had to work backwards. I think she has true lasting power, as long as she paces her career well.

As per usual, LeAnn Rimes spent the Christmas holiday on social media, bragging about her gifts, discussing her wonderful Christmas festivities and posting photos of Eddie Cibrian, her stepsons and her Christmas presents. Apparently, Eddie gave LeAnn custom YSL booties and a fringed bag. Those are nice gifts, I guess. Better than the jewelry he usually picks out for her. She really did spend a lot of time of social media this year, perhaps because she took the opportunity (on Christmas Day!!) to shill for her Christmas EP.
Anyway, were you aware of the fact that Eddie got a job? It?s true. He?s landed a paying gig! He?ll do a ?multiepisode arc? on Baby Daddy, an ABC Family show starring Chelsea Kane. Eddie apparently will play her boss. I didn?t even know what Chelsea Kane looked like, so I had to glance through some photos ? she?s got that wholesome sort of Julianne Hough look, perfect for an ABC Family show. She?s probably also Eddie Cibrian?s type (his type = anyone with a pulse). Well, according to the gossips at OK Magazine (via CDL), LeAnn is really worried:
LeAnn Rimes is too proud to ever admit that her husband (whom she stole from RHOBH?s Brandi Glanville) Eddie Cibrian is cheating on her ? but according to new reports that is the case?again, or still? Rumors have been running rampant all year that Eddie has ?emotionally checked out? of their marriage and has been spotted with other women ? which we all saw coming a mile away. However, LeAnn refuses to admit that she has now become the proud owner of a wrecked home, instead of the mistress doing the home-wrecking.
LeAnn Rimes infamously stole Eddie Cibrian after she met him playing his love interest on a made-for-TVmovie. Now, the tables have turned ? and LeAnn is paranoid that she is going to lose her hubby to his new hot co-star. Although we?re not sure which she is more upset about, losing dead beat Eddie ? or the fact that the entire world is going to be laughing hysterically at her when it happens. Eddie finally scored a paying acting gig on ABC Family?s comedy Baby Daddy, playing the love interest of 26 year old singer and actress Chelsea Kane.
According to the latest edition of OK! Magazine, Chelsea is around the same age that LeAnn was when she started hooking up with Eddie on the set of the movie they were filming together, Eddie?s blond co-star is rattling LeAnn and it?s a serious case of deja-vu. The magazine?s insider explains, ?Chelsea is LeAnn?s worst nightmare. She?s young and hot and she?ll be kissing her husband. Eddie is hoping that LeAnn can rein it in, if he hits the mark he could become a regular. He doesn?t want LeAnn to ruin this opportunity for him.?

I predict that LeAnn is about to come down with a mysterious illness and she will demand that Eddie be by her side as much as possible. Don?t get me wrong ? I?m sure LeAnn is probably pretty happy that Eddie got a paying job because she?s tired of spending like a drunken sailor (drunken Falcor?) to keep Eddie happy. But LeAnn will also want Eddie to spend as little time as possible fraternizing with his pretty costar. And the makeup girls. And the hair stylist. And the cute production assistants. Oh, it?s going to be bad.
