The "Sex & the City" star kept it casual in a navy long-sleeved top and blue jeans as she petted a friend's dog at lunch before hitting the streets.
Recently, the 47-year-old actress was announced to be sharing a story onstage at the Eight Stories High event for Oxfam's 70th anniversary.
The poverty and injustice fighting organization promises an evening of tales of courage, passion, innovation, and perspiration.
Also an Oxfam Global Ambassador, Kristin says of the event, "I am deeply proud to be involved in Eight Stories High ? there are so many untold and fantastic stories that touch Oxfam?s world, which should be shared. This event is a very special 70th anniversary celebration and I am honoured to be involved as a Global Ambassador for Oxfam.?

These are some newish photos of Cameron Diaz and Javier Bardem on the set of Ridley Scott?s new film, The Counselor. The shoot has moved from London to Alicante, Spain. It feels like we?ve already talked about this film endlessly already. Michael Fassbender plays the lead guy, and Brad Pitt has a small part, and there were rumors that Angelina Jolie would play the Malkina role, but Jolie didn?t get it, for whatever reason, and now the role is Cameron?s. I tend to think the idea of Jolie in the role was always a pipe dream, that she was always scheduled to be working on Maleficent, but whatever. Good for Camy. I?d heard that the Malkina role was very sexy, but I wasn?t really expecting this va-va-voom styling for Cameron. Is it just me or does she look really good here? Cameron should wear more Versace, and these kinds of Versace-esque styles. She can really pull it off.
As for Javier Bardem and his spiky hair? I have no idea. I think it?s kind of funny that in seemingly every movie Javier does, they mess with his hair in some significant way. Like, in the new James Bond film, Javi is wearing a really ridiculous blonde wig. I guess the hair team on this film is calling this style ?The Nolte?.
This film shoot feels like it?s been going on for a while, but partly that?s because Ridley Scott shut down production for a few weeks when his brother committed suicide. Our photo agencies have been getting lots of photos of Ridley since his brother?s death. We haven?t covered them, because I find that sort of ?So how is the family doing now?? coverage to be really gross. I will say this: Ridley just looks tired and sad. I would imagine he?s just trying to get through this production without losing it.
I?m also including a photo of Michael Fassbender from last week, when they were filming scenes in England. Sigh? this is going to be a good movie, isn?t it? I wonder if Fassy is in Spain too. Hm? I would love to go to Spain with Fassy.

Now that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are done making up, they’re back to shacking up!
“They are living together and have reconciled,” an insider tells Us Weekly in the new issue, on stands Friday.
But they haven’t exactly returned to the way they were before July, when Us broke the news that the Twilight actress, 22, had cheated with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, 41.
As Us revealed last week, Pattinson, 26, and his estranged love recently “had a dramatic makeup.” But a source tells Us the British hunk “is extra-sensitive right now. He’s insecure.”

God, this just makes me so sad for Sparkles. Either he?s just letting her people say whatever they want because he?s a gentleman and he doesn?t want to play this out in the press, or The Twihard Reconcilation is a real thing. For now at least. Maybe it?s all for the film promotion, but if Rob is really putting his heart on the line again? ugh, I just feel bad for him. And I feel like he?s self-sabotaging too. They?re both masochists, aren?t they?

I thought he was based in London? Well, Cumberbatch was in LA over the weekend for the Emmys (Sherlock got shut out, which sucks because it?s an awesome show). I guess he decided to stay in town to get some Liv Tyler action? I have to wonder how recent this coupling is? Benedict has been saying in interviews that he?s single ? he?s been saying that for months. Are they old friends who found each other anew? Have they been dating on the downlow for months? I really need to know.
I understand that Cumby isn?t everyone?s taste. That?s fine. My Cumby Love is not like my Fassy Love. Like, I feel the need to ensure that everyone realizes their own personal Michael Fassbender Obsession. But my thing for Cumby is much more private and personal, although I recently sent CB the DVDs of Sherlock?s first two seasons, and now she?s somewhat obsessed too. CB really likes this pairing because she likes Liv Tyler a lot. But I think Liv is kind of? meh. Back in the USA after a stint in Australia, Kim Kardashian attended the Midori Makeover Parlour event in Santa Monica last night (September 25).
Joined by her mother Kris Jenner, the ?Disaster Movie? actress worked her mojo for the cameras outside Fred Segal in a figure-hugging green dress.
And while the media has made much of Kim?s boyfriend Kanye West?s newly-unearthed collection of homemade porn tapes, she isn?t too broken up about it.
A friend of the family told press, ?All of the Kardashians love Kanye and they have told him that they don?t care that the report about his sex tape came out. Kris and both Khloe and Kourtney told Kanye that this isn?t anything to worry about, and since they dealt with Kim?s tape it is no big deal.?

Aishwarya Rai is a goddess! These are new photos of Aish at the United Nations ?Every Woman Every Child? Dinner last night in NYC. The United Nations opening has drawn so many world leaders and international activists to New York this year ? they?re also in town for the Clinton Global Initiative too, by the way. Anyway, we haven?t talked about Aish since May, when Indian critics and bloggers went f?king crazy criticizing Aish for not losing her postpartum baby weight soon enough. There were some in India who felt that Aishwarya was ?letting her people down? by not getting back to her old figure soon enough. Rai appeared at the Cannes Film Festival one week later, and she still looked magnificent, so I don?t get why this whole thing was such a BFD.
As you can see in these photos, Rai is still gorgeous, and she still a voluptuous woman. That?s all I really have to say ? she looks great. I wouldn?t mind if she changed up her style a bit, but maybe she feels like she has to wear more traditional Indian clothing when she?s overseas, like she?s a representative of Indian style. Rai was at the dinner last night because she?s just been named the newest international goodwill ambassador to UNAIDS:
The United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) has appointed Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as its International Goodwill Ambassador. She will raise global awareness on protecting children from HIV infection and increasing access to antiretroviral treatment.
The appointment came a day before the start of the annual debate at the UN General Assembly. Aishwarya has been involved in humanitarian issues for many years and will now have a special focus on HIV/AIDS, Xinhua reported. At a press conference Monday, UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe welcomed Aishwarya to the UNAIDS family.
“Mrs. Rai Bachchan is respected and admired by millions of people around the world,” Sidibe said. “I am convinced that through her global outreach, Mrs. Rai Bachchan can help UNAIDS reach its goal of eliminating new HIV infections among children by 2015.”

I know, too many Kardashian posts! But these are new photos, and they?re funny. Kim and her mom hosted ?The Midori Makeover Parlour? at Fred Segal in Santa Monica last night. Nevermind that Kim barely drinks ? although Kim has recently said that she?s started having the odd cocktail here and there, especially after she turned 30. The funny part is that Kris Jenner wasn?t the co-host or anything. I?m pretty sure Midori is just paying for Kim?s Kat-face to represent the brand. But Kris had to show up to show off HER Kat-face. My favorite photos are the ones of Kris literally STANDING IN FRONT OF KIM. Like, she?s actively trying to soak up Kim?s publicity. Kris may be a pimp-momager, but the biggest problem with Kris is that she simply wants to be as famous as her daughters. She thinks she?s one of them. Kris would eat her young to be as famous as them.
As for Kim?s crushed velvet dress? it?s awful. I guess she wanted to wear green for Midori?? Is she that ?clever?? Ugh. I used to love velvet so much ? I had a whole winter wardrobe based on several great velvet pieces. But then I grew out of it. That was back in the 1990s. Will velvet make a comeback? Ugh, I hope not. Velvet ADDS weight on most women, because the fabric is so lush and thick, and it?s difficult to get really great tailoring with velvet. Plus, at some point, you just feel like Austin Powers, you know?
Also: Kim split her dress in the back. Hahaha. Maybe she tried to wear an actual size 4??

I don?t really have anything to say about these photos other than ?OH MY GOD!? I love Harper Seven Beckham so, so much. These are pics of David Beckham running errands in West Hollywood with his daughter. She seems like a really chilled-out baby, right? Like, I never see looking tantrum-y or anything like that. She always seems to be like, ?Yeah, I am adored. That?s cool with me.?
I love that Harper?s parents are so hands-on with her ? and with all of their kids, really, but it feels like David and Posh just can?t get enough of their daughter. Harper is about 14 months old ? she can walk, as we?ve already seen. But she still gets carried all of the time (which is fine, she?s still just a baby, I wasn?t saying that), and she still gets to run endless errands with her mom and dad. Barefoot! In my mind, David had issues with getting Harper?s shoes on, so he was just like, ?Fine, we?ll do it barefoot.? But he still managed to get the bow in her hair. I love that.
Oh, and he took her to lunch too! OMG. God, that?s so cute. Just a daddy having lunch with his baby girl. I think my ovaries just started crying.

This is just an excuse for me to talk about Matt Damon, and another subject that I have much more personal experience with (unfortunately), kids being picky eaters. Hot dad Matt Damon was at a fundraiser called Cooking Live, to benefit a group called The Family Reach Foundation. Damon got involved with the cause thanks to his brother and sister-in-law. The Family Reach Foundation provides support to families with children suffering from cancer. (Damon’s dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2010.) Damon explained how he cooks for his daughters, and it was really sweet. He said he just cooks simple food like pasta and steamed broccoli. As a mom with a kid who will only eat specific foods, I can relate. Damon has daughters Alexia, 14, Isabella, 6, Gia, 4, and Stella, who turns two next month.
?I?m a terrible cook, but I do a little bit of it at home,? Damon, 41, tells PEOPLE at New York?s Cooking Live fundraiser, held Tuesday and benefiting the Family Reach Foundation. ?I?m relegated to kids? fare and I can make more of the functional stuff.?
Case in point? A favorite dish the Elysium actor frequently makes for daughters Isabella, 6, Gia, 4, and Stella, 23 months, as well as Alexia, 14, only contains three ingredients.
?I cook pasta with butter and steam broccoli,? says Damon. ?It?s all about getting enough healthy food in front of them every three hours.?
The trick to vegetables, the Oscar winner says, is that ?it?s all about starting early.?
?My wife [Luciana] and I introduced it to them at a very young age and they just don?t know any different,? he admits. ?Luckily, I found out all three of my youngest girls love broccoli. There are times where I can?t get them to eat protein or a little piece of fish because they are going crazy over the broccoli. Sometimes they?re the ones bribing me to eat more of my vegetables.?
Especially when it?s Brussels sprouts being served ? Damon doesn?t like the taste.
?That was always a tough one for me ? and I was never crazy about cauliflower either,? he shares. ?But I grew up eating a lot of salad. My mother made a salad with every single meal we had, so I was raised thinking that?s how you eat. It?s a good balance that I?m trying to teach to my own kids.?

What I wouldn’t do to get my kid to eat a salad. Believe me, I’ve tried. Did you know that it’s genetic whether or not broccoli tastes bitter to you? I saw a kids’ science show about it. My son eats broccoli, and he used to eat pasta with butter all the time. Now he prefers rice, chicken, green beans and red peppers. (He’ll eat some other fruits and vegetables too, usually uncooked and always separated.) It’s hard to get him to eat anything new or with sauce on it, unless one of his grandmothers makes it for him. If I make a new dish I’m lucky if he tries it. So in that case I can relate to Damon. You make what the kids will eat, there’s less drama, and it’s much healthier for them than fast food or something from a restaurant. Why did “chicken nuggets” and “pizza” become kids food? (Not that we don’t eat those too.)
This just makes me love Matt Damon more. He has picky daughters, and he’ll make exactly what they’ll eat. I get the sense he gets down on the floor and plays with them too. He’s probably even game for tea parties and dolls.

I have no idea where this quote originated, if it?s from one of her many magazine interviews that she did months ago or whatever. All I know is that it?s funny and wrong:
Kristen Stewart is a pro at giving interviews but she?s not immune to slipping up! In a recent interview, the actress revealed how she keeps a low profile but you can?t help but think about her affair while reading her answer.

Oh, Kristen. So dumb. That?s what I?ve begun to think of Kristen in general, and this affair in particular. People want to ascribe these deep psychological motives to Kristen, trying to explain how it was her innate sense of self-sabotage and her deeply-rooted insecurities that made her screw around on Sparkles. While that might have been part of it (I?m partial to the self-sabotage theory too), I think it?s more of a ?Kristen Stewart is not very bright? thing. She isn?t. She isn?t half as clever as she thinks she is, and she isn?t half as clever as other people think she is.
By the way, we?re going to have new photos of Kristen tomorrow, I can feel it. Kristen is due to make an appearance during Paris Fashion Week. She?s the face of Balenciaga?s Florabotanica, and she?s likely contractually obligated to show up at the runway show too. So, everyone is saying she?s scheduled to make an appearance. That should be fun! She was in Paris in the spring for Fashion Week, and she looked like ten kinds of hell back then. I wonder if she?ll shower this time around?

This story was in Page Six yesterday, and I saved the story and I thought about writing about it, but I wondered if maybe I was imagining things, like I was the only one who thought (and continues to think) that Sofia Vergara?s boyfriend-and-now-fianc Nick Loeb is one shady d-bag. Obviously, I still think he?s kind of shady because I?m still wondering about those reports claiming Loeb is a sex addict who loves hookers and cocaine. And now I think he?s kind of a rude d-bag because of this Page Six story. But once again, I feel like I?m the only one ringing the Douchebag Alarm on this one? why isn?t anyone else talking about how shady this dude is?
Sofia Vergara got no help from sulky fianc Nick Loeb when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction during Sunday night?s Emmy Awards. When the ?Modern Family? actress? sexy curves burst out of the back of her sparkling emerald Zuhair Murad dress as its zip popped, she tweeted a picture of her exposed booty saying, ?Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!!?
Backstage, things weren?t so lighthearted. According to a source, a frantic Vergara came storming through the halls with an entourage as she covered herself in Loeb?s jacket. ?Someone in the front was screaming ?Wardrobe! Wardrobe!? and she was frantic and in tears,? says the spy. ?Nick was trailing in the back looking annoyed.?
Loeb, the son of John Loeb Jr., who served President Ronald Reagan as ambassador to Denmark, was overheard saying, ?Ugh, I need to smoke a cigarette. Her dress got stuck on the seat and made a huge rip. Her whole [bleep]ing ass was sticking out.?
Continues the spy: ?He was just annoyed that she pulled them from the audience. He was huffing and puffing, and while she was getting pinned and sewn back in by a wardrobe assistant saying, ?Let?s go Sofia!!,? he didn?t say anything to comfort her.?
Once the dress drama was over, Vergara and Loeb seemed harmonious again as they hit the Emmy parties, where this time she stayed inside her sexy dress.

Oooh, the second Monica Bellucci post of the month! Pretty soon she?ll be a regularly featured celebrity! Probably not, though. We keep getting new photos and new interviews of her because she?s been doing the film festival rounds for her new film, Rhino Season. Earlier this month, I covered some quotes from Monica in which she was discussing having children in her late 30s/early 40s, and how ?Being a woman isn?t about having children.? Those quotes made me really like her even more. And now there are some new quotes from Monica, and she?s talking about body image and such:
Italian actress Monica Bellucci has had enough of the ‘thin is in’ culture and wants more appreciation of the differences in the female form.
“Perfection doesn’t exist and if it did, I would find it very boring. For sure, a skinny body is attractive. But who ever said that a bigger body couldn’t be beautiful in the same way? With big breasts and big arms?” she told Italian magazine Myself.
Bellucci, 47, told the magazine there is more to beauty than designer clothes or investing in expensive beauty products.

Here’s some photos of Penelope Cruz at the San Sebastian film festival premiere of Venuto al Mondo. She wore both a dress and a cardigan pantset (shown below for the photocall) by L’Wren Scott and paired black Ferragamo pumps with each of the outfits. The dress, which is far too feminine for my own tastes with all of that mauve floral print, looked spectacular on Penelope. Other than the fact that she can pull off nearly any outfit, I mostly envy her gorgeous hair. Bitch has perfect highlights.
In Venuto al Mondo, Penelope plays an Italian woman (really?), Gemma, who is unable to bear children. In an interview with the Guardian, she says her own experience in becoming a mother at age 37 helped prepare her for Gemma’s experiences. Penelope was also still nursing her and sexy beast Javier Bardem’s son, Leo, while she shot this movie, which made the situation quite interesting when her character held newborn babies. Here are some excerpts:
On her character “I think this movie is homage to all women, a homage to motherhood. It’s a homage to that relationship of mother and child. A woman that doesn’t want children obviously can be happy without children. But one that wants to have children that much … it’s very difficult for her to be happy. Interacting with set babies while she was still nursing: “Some of these babies were only a week old. And so they were smelling me and that made them want to eat. But I was playing a woman who couldn’t feed because she hadn’t given birth! That created a very strange but alive dynamic between me and those babies. You cannot learn something like that. And this film is full of moments that could not be planned.”
On life as a working mother: “More and more I try to be more picky with my selection. I am now able to choose the work I do, which I don’t take for granted.”

It’s nice to hear a Hollywood mom acknowledge that not every woman lives to be a mother. I certainly cannot identify with the Jennifer Garner school of thought that dictates there is “no deeper want for a woman than to be a mother.” Even though I do have a child, I honestly never planned to become a parent, and I don’t understand the yearning to have more children. Things are just fine for me with one child, and she (like it or not) is my world, but I suspect I’d have been just fine without having a kid. Don’t tell my daughter I said that though!
Back to the Penelope’s fashion — I really dig this black-and-white cardigan with these cropped black pants, and this look is even better than the dress. She’s so beautiful. Javier is a very lucky man!

I don?t follow Kim Kardashian on Twitter. I only check her Twitter feed when we have new photos of her, or when I hear about something she wrote or said somewhere else. So that?s my excuse for missing all of these new-ish photos of Kim?s poor cat, a Persian named Mercy Kardashian-West. Mercy is in trouble, y?all. We knew Mercy was in trouble when we saw those first, awful photos of Kim holding Mercy like a purse strap. We knew Mercy was in trouble when we saw Mercy?s poor, scared little face. And Kim is now posting more and more Mercy photos on her Twitter, in between posting dumb swimsuit and lingerie pics of herself. It?s like a hostage crisis, with Kim tweeting ?proof of life? photos of Mercy. What do we have to give Kim to get her to release this poor cat? CALL S.W.A.T.!
Oh, and Kanye did buy Mercy for Kim. Kim confirmed that, writing on her blog, ?With me being in Miami, Kanye knew I would need some company when he wasn’t around, so he surprised me with her.” That?s interesting, right? So Kanye and Kim are spending more time apart, and Kanye gave her a CAT? That feels fishy.
Someone also started a fake Twitter account for poor Mercy, and it?s apparently a ?thing? to make note of how miserable Mercy looks in every single photo Kim tweets of the poor cat. Seriously, why isn?t PETA getting involved with this mess?
By the way, Kim also tweeted about her peplum?d faux-skort of doom, which we saw yesterday. Kim tweeted, ?Love this Vera Wang outfit.? Jesus, Vera Wang designed that? WTF was Vera thinking?!

I still don?t know what kind of crack you people were smoking when you yelled at me after I yelled at Salma for describing herself as ?at the limit of chubbiness at all times.? I?m sorry, but I still hate that she described herself that way. That?s an insult to truly chubby girls, and I find it so very patronizing, especially given how crazy-awesome her body actually is. LOOK AT IT. This is not a woman who is one Snickers away from ‘Chubby Tragedy’. For the love of God.

Salma Hayek is happily married these days, but looking back, she didn’t believe such a feeling would be possible.
“I didn’t think marriage worked,” she tells More in its October issue cover story. “I thought everybody who was married was secretly miserable ? that it was something they just put up with for their children.”
But since saying “I do” to French billionaire Franois-Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day of 2009, the actress, 46, sees things very differently.
“I have a master of decision-making helping me out, so of course my life and my career are better,” she explains. “I really enjoy having somebody that I can be weak with. If I’m insecure or afraid, I can talk about it, and he’ll give me strength and courage. With us, there’s no power struggle. I don’t mind doing things for him because he does so much for me, and he feels the same way.”
Hayek, who gave birth to the couple’s daughter Valentina, 5, in 2007, is a devoted mom, but she also makes personal time for herself and Pinault. Teasing that she has texts which “would surprise you,” Hayek goes on to say, “I can show you a thousand things. But I’m not going to.”

I will admit to thinking that sometimes too, when I think to myself, ?Should I regret not settling down at my age? Eh. I?d probably be miserable, just like nearly every married woman.? She had to stand by as her billionaire husband tried to cheap out on his barely-acknowledged son. Is it worth it?

Looking red hot to show off her latest film, Penelope Cruz followed up a midday photocall by attending the premiere of ?Venuto al Mondo? premiere in San Sebastian, Spain on Tuesday (September 25).
The 38-year-old Spanish-born beauty looked stunning in a strapless, full length red gown as she happily smiled for the awaiting photographers before heading in to catch the 60th San Sebastian International Film Festival screening.
As for the Sergio Castellitto directed drama, ?Venuto al Mondo? sees a single mother bring her teenage son to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago.
Speaking about the film adaptation of Margaret Mazzantini?s bestseller, Penelope previously told The Guardian, ?I think this movie is homage to all women, a homage to motherhood," adding, ?It's a homage to that relationship of mother and child."
?Venuto al Mondo? (Twice Born) is set to release in Italy on November 8.

Looking a bit overdressed for air travel, Kim Kardashian returned to the west coast today (September 25) via LAX Airport following a trip to Miami, Florida.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star wore a sleeveless, black leather top and a long black skirt with flat sandals as she made her way through the terminal and straight over to Beverly Hills for a mani/pedi at her local salon of choice.
The trip back to Tinseltown comes as the reality diva was given a new furry friend to accompany her while filming "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" - as boyfriend Kanye West doted her with a fluffy white teacup Persian kitten.
On her blog, Miss Kardashian confirmed, "With me being in Miami, Kanye knew I would need some company when he wasn't around, so he surprised me with her."
Named after Yeezy's new album single, Mercy has been making a big splash on Kim's Twitter account. The 31-year-old frequently posts photos of Mercy and her adventures.
While one picture shows herself smooching the tiny kitty, another reveals 2-year-old nephew Mason's love of the little fluffball. She tweeted, "He loves her" with an adorable photo of the happy little boy clutching Mercy.

Carrie Underwood was performing at the KFC Yum! Center in Kentucky when she spotted a kid with a sign that read, “Will you be my first kiss?” She thought to herself, “Will I ever!,” and pulled him up on stage. She made with the pleasantries asking his name (Chase) before she got down to business.
Carrie wanted to know, “How are we going to do this?” Chase replied, “Lip to lip.” For whatever reason that exchange reminded me of Stanley Herman’s scene inRequiem for a Dream where he excitedly screams “ass to ass!” Probably because this is a lot like that.
Anyway, Carrie obliged, told him to close his eyes and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Now that kid has to go see the doctor cause he’s had an erection for more than 48 hours.
If that kid knew any better, he would have asked for open mouth with tongue.

Kim Kardashian kept her huge ass under wraps with a long coverup while shooting “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” yesterday, but she left it open in the front so you could still see her boobs. Unfortunately, that meant you could also see her thighs. It’s obvious she didn’t really think this one through.
Basta Surf’s white one-piece swimsuit is much sexier than Kim’s, and it doesn’t have any metallic accents or inner thigh chafing.
