Fitting right in, Miley Cyrus is part of the crew on the “Sex and the City” sequel and loving it! She even got to keep a necklace she wore!
The singer and actress says that she plays herself in the movie, which causes tension between she and Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha, when they both end up wearing the same gown at a big red-carpet event.
Miley gushed over the cast, saying, “[I’m a] huge fan, and I think that Sarah Jessica Parker is so cute. And the first thing she did was hold someone’s coffee, so that they could take a picture with me. I didn’t get to keep the dress because they need it for Kim. But I got to keep the necklace.”
And although she couldn’t wait to put it on, she had to hold off. “The necklace is cool. It’s, like, these giant spikes, and I wanted to wear it while I was performing. [But] my mum was like, ‘That could be dangerous… You can’t wear that onstage.’”

Having already taken care of her costume shopping with a family outing earlier this month, Rachel Bilson was spotted picking up a pumpkin in Los Angeles on Tuesday (October 27).
The “Jumper” cutie strolled along with her hand-picked Halloween decoration, gearing up for the festivities which are just four days away.
Aside from her liking of Halloween, Rachel is also known for her passion for fashion - recently telling that she draws inspiration from other celebs.
She said: “I love to admire other people. Ashley Olsen I think is great, Diane Kruger, Sienna Miller - all those people obviously have good style, so it’s nice to see that around you. Your peers surround you, and they all look good, so that’s great.”

Although details are still scarce about just what Beyonc and Lady Gaga will be doing to in the clip for B's song "Video Phone," Gaga did talk about the clip in a new interview.
"When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?' " Gaga explained in an interview with New York's Z100 radio station on Tuesday morning (October 27). "And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you.' "
In a photo that emerged from the video shoot, Gaga was seen wearing a white strapless leotard with matching opera gloves, and her long hair is loose and flowing — the look is definitely more Beyonc than Gaga. In fact, Gaga even scored a new nickname while on set. "I want to do my version of Beyonc," she said. "So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yonc."
As if fans weren't psyched enough about the video, Gaga did say that she and Beyonc are working on music together. No additional details were given, however.
"We did collaborate recently," she said, referencing the "Video Phone" video, adding, "And we are collaborating on my album, as well." It was unclear whether Gaga was referring to the forthcoming expanded edition of her debut LP, The Fame: Monster, or her still-in-the-works second album.

Stepping out to spend her hard earned cash, Rebecca Gayheart was spotted out for a retail session in Los Angeles on Monday (October 26).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress dressed in casual, loose-fitting attire to cover her baby bump, dropping into the Ron Herman store to pick up a few items.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Gayheart is expecting a child next year with her co-star hubby Eric Dane.
Of the baby on board, a source told People magazine, “They’re definitely happy. They’ve been trying for so long.”

Gearing up for her baby’s upcoming December birth, Kourtney Kardashian will be celebrating with a baby shower on November 14th.
Dishing details on the upcoming fete, event planner Sharon Sacks dished the details while chatting with Life & Style magazine.
She tells, “The magic words I just kept hearing were sleek, chic and elegant. [The invitations] already let guests know this shower will be anything but traditional!”
As for the menu, Miss Sacks says, “Hors d’oeuvres will be an abundant array of delectable bite-size treats prepared by Renee, the famous chef of Chinois. When the cake is cut, selecting two flavors will allow guests to pick their favorite,” Sharon explains.
Continuing on, Sharon tells, “Kourtney’s guests will find themselves mingling in a fun, casual setting around the pool. The afternoon will be one filled will surprises!”

Looking all glammed up, Melanie Brown was spotted leaving the Mayfair hotel wearing a blonde wig paired with a sexy sequence silver mini dress on Tuesday evening (October 27).
The Spice Girl happened to be out for a photocall for the launch of Glaceau Vitamin Water.
Meanwhile, Mel B has also been busy helping to stop poverty. The former singer went to her hometown of Leeds, England, where she moved in with an unemployed single mother and her five kids for the documentary of, “Seven Days on The Breadline.”
Mel was shocked about the home, but encouraged the family to do more chores and make the most of the weekly financial aid they receive.
“I hadn’t been told anything about the family I would be looking after or the state of the house I would be living in. It was only when I arrived that I realized it had damp rising up the walls, was infested by mice, and was, frankly, horribly unkempt,” she said.
“The house was home to unemployed Elaine Henry and my task involved looking after her five children - aged six, eight, 12, 16 and 18 - all on a budget of ?264 in benefits,” she added.
Brown realized the family was not “lazy” but was just depressed by all that had happened and thinks the government could do something about it by creating a community outlet.
“I hope the show will make people think twice about people on benefits, rather than calling them lazy moneygrabbers… On the whole I think the majority could be encouraged to do a bit more if the government would step in,” she said.
“If you do not give people a way out, educate them, provide them with somewhere to live, and a community centre for them to visit and be stimulated, then how can you expect them to have the urge to get up and do anything with their lives?” she added.

DADDY?s girl Lady GaGa has given her father the gift of life ? she paid for him to have a new heart. The Poker Face singer took to her Twitter account over the weekend to reveal that her dad, Joseph, had undergone open-heart surgery.
And now in an interview with with 104.7 KISS FM in Phoenix, Arizona, GaGa says she covered the cost of the operation with the advance for her new album.
?It was pretty necessary? It was the biggest nightmare of my life,? she said. ?My father is my whole world; I?m such a daddy?s girl? I said, ?I haven?t bought anything yet with any of the money that I?ve made from my new album? so let me buy you a new heart, dad.? And he said, ?OK, fine.?
?I took care of my mom and my sister and I took care of me, and he?s gonna be out in a couple of days? Now I feel like I can get back to work? For a while I was feeling like I just wanted to give up. This really kinda put things in perspective? When this happened I really just kinda said, ?I don?t wanna do anything for the next two weeks; I just wanna be with my dad and be a good daughter.??

I guess she meant she hadn?t bought anything for her dad yet, since she said she took care of her mom and sister and herself. Unless she meant ?took care? in a different sense. This might seem like an obligatory thing to pay for on Lady Gaga?s part, since it?s a life or death situation. But in July she claimed to have been broke. It seemed like she was exaggerating, but it definitely left the impression that she?s not flush with cash, for whatever reason.

The bankrupt four times thing might have been hyperbole, but it does happen. And she?s said several times that all her money goes back into her shows ? and her wardrobe. It actually doesn?t sound frivolous to me. It?s like remodeling your house ? it?s enjoyable and makes things look better, and ultimately increases the value of the home. Gaga probably puts a good deal of her money back into her wardrobe and her show because ultimately it increases her value as a performer and a celebrity.
Hopefully Mr. Gaga (that?s his name, right?) will make a full recovery and enjoy his new lease on life.

I don?t really care one way or another about 50 cent, but this interview had me laughing. 50 cent is lamenting his constant diamond purchases in this troubled economy. He explains that he buys diamonds on ?a very regular basis? but he?s finding it difficult to justify new diamond purchases without first selling off some of his older pieces. Now, here?s the thing - 50 cent is ridiculously rich. He?s richer beyond nearly every rap star. He?s at the Jay-Z/Madonna/Paul McCartney level of rich. And it?s not even from his music! It was his endorsement deal (and stock percentage) of Vitamin Water that made him insanely rich - many estimates have 50 cent banking somewhere in the neighborhood of $300-400 million through an amazingly smart endorsement deal. So? I guess I have to admit that he might be a good businessman. But is he smart enough to be Obama?s economic advisor? 50 cent thinks so:
50 cent, real name Curtis Jackson, confessed he had lost ?a few million? from his estimated worth of 270 million.
However he said aspiring business tycoons should learn from his financial prowess and even offered to give US President Barack Obama a hand running the American economy.

Yesterday London?s Express newspaper reported that Jennifer Aniston was going to host her own weekly talk show on Oprah?s new network. Why in the world would a reasonably successful film actress do something like that? Well because she absolutely wants to, was the creative natural response. I mean who wouldn?t want to take their career down several notches? Oh, and money wasn?t a factor, since she doesn?t need it.
Aniston has agreed to do a weekly show for Oprah’s new cable channel, OWN, when it finally launches sometime next year, according to a report over the weekend. While the idea of the former “Friends” star putting her career on hold to host a weekly cable show seems improbable at first glance, the report in London’s Express newspaper says that Aniston is taken with the idea of starring on her own talk show.
Salary would not be a factor for the actress, who earns $5-7 million a movie, says the report. “She is doing this for one reason only; she absolutely wants to do it,” the paper quotes a source “close to the deal.” It seems that Aniston, 40, wants to duplicate what she saw last month as a guest on the Chelsea Handler show, “Chelsea Lately,” on the E! channel.

The couple’s marriage, which has been rumored to be shaky and on the verge of divorce, are claiming they are making the move for baby Bronx.
The house simply is not baby-safe! “The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older they realized that really isn’t a child-friendly house. They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”
Ashlee bought the mansion, at 5,896 square feet, in January of 2007 for $4.5 million. It has four floors, four bedrooms, four baths, and a master bedroom with his-and-her baths.
It, of course, has all things needed such as a television and game room, gym, a huge kitchen, swimming pool, and a two-story guesthouse.

She?s a beautiful woman who gets it wrong on the red carpet often enough that I think to myself ?Why doesn?t my girl get a better stylist??. Last night was one of those times. I don?t know who designed this puff-sleeved, peach-pink monstrosity, but I hope they?re pleased with themselves. This junk is so ugly, I really feel for poor Julianne. What was she thinking? ?Tonight, I want to look like a budget bridesmaid!??
In happier news, Julianne is out there promoting her work in both Chloe and A Single Man. So we have a new interview! Yeah! It?s this piece from Indie Wire called ?10 Things You Want to Know About Julianne Moore?. Unfortunately, I only wanted to know about six of these things, so here are the highlights (full article is here):
Her character in ?A Single Man? was inspired by Tom Ford?s grandmother.
?He had a very glamorous grandmother,? Moore said of Ford. ?She lived in Santa Fe. When I went for my first costume fitting, he was very specific about the dress. He pulled out quite a few options, but when he whipped out this one dress, and I put it on, he was like, ?That?s the dress.? And the dress had come from a vintage store in Santa Fe, where his grandmother lived. So he got very emotional and said he could not believe the dress I was going to wear was from there. But, yeah, she had the hair and the makeup and the jewelry, and was it fun? So that?s where a lot of that came from.?
She does not believe there is a downside to awards attention.
?Noooo,? she yelped when moderator Briony Hanson asked if getting awards attention had a downside. ?Are you kidding? It helps you get another job! Bring it on! You?re like, ?thank you.? It?s great.?
Though she did see a downside to getting nominated twice in one year (as she did in 2002 for ?Far From Heaven? and ?The Hours?).
?Obviously it?s nothing to sneeze at,? she said of the double nomination. ?But in that same way that every film is your baby? you like each one to have its moment. So when you have two at the same time, it?s like having twins. It probably would be nicer to be able to focus on one or the other but, you know, don?t look a gift horse in the mouth, as they say.?
She?s not afraid of aging.
?I?ve been asked about aging in Hollywood since I started,? Moore said. ?I think because I started making movies when I was 30 or 31. So the first question out of everybody?s mouth is ?what does it feel like to be an older actress working in Hollywood.? And I keep getting it. And my answer to it always has been that you can?t be anywhere except where you are. I?m 48. I?m going to be 48 until I?m not anymore and then I?ll be 49. And if I spend all my time at 48 wishing that I was 35, I?m not going to experience 48. And I?m not going to play parts I played at 31 either. It?s not going to happen. So I feel like as far as aging is concerned for anybody in their life, at any point? you have to go, ?this is where I am today, and appreciate it.? Because none of it lasts very long.?
Moore cautions a previous statement she?d made where she said that she makes some films ?to pay her mortgage.?
?That sounds like a horrific statement,? Moore said when Hanson quoted her. ?Because I?ve also been really pleased and happy doing the more commercial work that I?ve done. I?ve worked with people like Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott and Ivan Reitman. Directors that are really talented and interesting but just happen to be making great big movies. So it?s nothing to sneeze at, but you also have to, as an actor, work within the range of films that are out there. It?s like, if you ate tomatoes every day, you?re like ?okay, enough tomatoes. I can?t stand it anymore.? So I think it?s that way with anything we do in our lives. You want to have some variety, and some different experiences.?
But she admits that they do pay the mortgage, and allow her to make smaller films.
?There?s this misnomer about actors that whatever we do we get paid for,? she said. ?I made a movie this summer with Lisa Cholodenko [?The Kids Are Alright?]. And it actually cost me money. Because you have to uproot your whole family. So some movies allow you to have a career and a regular job. And some movies you just do because you want to do them, but you?re not getting paid. It?s all part of a whole thing. And I?ve been super, super fortunate that I?ve had varied opportunities.?

I?m actually looking forward A Single Man. It looks really interesting, and the cast is superb. The film is adapted from Christopher Isherwood?s 1964 book of the same name. According to the reviews (which are stellar), the film is a day-in-the life story, following and narrated by George (Colin Firth), a British university lecturer in L.A. whose male partner has died. George has decided to kill himself, but is constantly reminded of how much life there is beyond his grief. Julianne, in a glamorous turn, plays George?s best friend. Maybe Julianne will finally get the Oscar!

According to OK! UK, Sienna Miller and Jude Law may be back on. This makes perfect sense to me, because they are both two of the most self-destructive, self-defeating, horny celebrities out there. Both of them will literally screw anyone who gives them the side-eye. Examples for Jude: Samantha Burke and any and all of the random chicas he?s bangin? while in New York. Examples for Sienna: Her entire dating history. Anyway, both Jude and Sienna are doing separate plays on Broadway, and they may already to be back together:
Jude Law and Sienna Miller could be set to rekindle their romance after meeting for a few dinner dates recently.
The pair - who dated after meeting on the set of Alfie in 2004 but split in 2006 following Jude?s affair with his children?s nanny - have had a series of secret meetings in New York, where they are both appearing on Broadway.
A source said: ?Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well.”
A spokesperson has confirmed that the pair have met up although did not comment on whether they are dating again.
The source added: ?Sienna had her heart broken by Jude, but she was young and it was the first time she?d fallen in love. What people don?t realise is that they always remained close, so who knows where this will lead to next.?

I don?t know what to think about this, really. On one hand, it could make sense. Sienna and Jude were on-again, off-again so many times that one more shot isn?t beyond the realm of possibility. I was working in a gym in Jersey City and did some catering - just being in the city was amazing to me. I ran into Jude in a nightclub one night. I instantly knew who he was, but he seemed really funny; he was cracking jokes with people and he included me in that. The next thing I knew I was on the pavement outside, being twirled around - it was a lot of fun. Following that initial meeting, Jude and I went out several times. He was a lot of fun to be around, always making me laugh and smile.?
Hello: Had you seen many of his films, and would you have considered yourself a fan?
SB: ?I?d seen a few of his movies. He?s a great actor and very good looking - you could say that I was a fan. Surprisingly, I wasn?t nervous when I met him, though, he was just as normal as anybody. He was funny and very down to earth, which I wouldn?t have expected - it was like a breath of fresh air.?
Hello: Did Jude strike you as a family man when you knew him? Did he talk about his children much?
SB: ?He definitely came across as a family man. He told me that he?d been injured while filming, and he had two or three days off. He wanted to fly back to London, just for that short time, so he could be with his kids. I thought that was really amazing. He also had a picture of the three of them in his room, and they?re obviously very special to him.?
Hello: How long did your relationship last?
SB: ?A few weeks after Jude and I met, I was scheduled to move to Pittsburgh to help care for my grandmother. Around the same time, Jude was wrapping up his shoot in NY and I knew that he would be heading back to the UK. I knew that as we headed in separate directions our relationship would not continue. And I was okay with that. I was living in the moment and I really enjoyed all my time with Jude. I really have no regrets.?

So, the gist of the story is that Jude Law got his stalker pregnant. Too harsh? The interview goes on and on and Samantha keeps talking about her ?relationship? with Jude and how happy she was with the situation. I also think she got pregnant on purpose, but that?s just my theory. She ?fell in love? with Jude and decided she wanted him in her life permanently. When asked about her future relationship with Jude, she says she wants to ?have a friendship and be cordial. I want everything to be positive around Sophia? so hopefully, we can work things out.?
Samantha also says that she hopes Sophia is ?just as talented? as her father, so we can look forward to Sophia being a child actor any day now. Meanwhile, whenever Hello asks her questions like ?Has Jude seen pictures of Sophia?? the answer is always ?no?. They even asked if Jude or Sadie Frost sent Sophia any gifts. The answer was no. Samantha also ?doesn?t rule out? moving closer to Jude, whether that means London or New York, whatever. She has plans to continue stalking him. It?s almost enough to make feel a twinge of pity for Jude. But not really.

Because it?s a slow gossip day, let?s enjoy looking at some new Brad Pitt pictures. Brad was hanging out in Studio City, California yesterday, fresh off of his weekend motorcycle accident. Brad?s so monochromatic. I told you guys! After I saw pictures of Suri Cruise all in red, I knew monochromatic would be making a comeback, and here we are. Brad in shades of gray. I think he looks pretty hot, but I want to note two things. First, I think Brad carries his wallet in his front pocket (note the square bulge in his front pocket)? probably so we can see his cute ass. Secondly, he?s not wearing a newsboy cap! Instead, he?s wearing some kind of ? fedora? Is he Dick Tracy? Is he investigating The Case of the Missing Newsboy Cap?
As for his scruff, I actually think he trimmed it. It was looking totally wild a few weeks ago, and it looks more controlled now. I find that for most women, it doesn?t even matter about the guy, they already know if they like scruff or beards or goatees or whatever. I know that I?m completely open to it. The first guy I ever loved had a very fussy little goatee, and since then, I?ve always loved facial hair. While I wish Brad would really trim the front part of his beard, I like the scruff generally.
Back to Brad?s weekend accident. While the initial reports had a paparazzo maybe causing the accident, Radar put up a compelling video of the incident, and I can say in good faith that the accident was entirely Brad?s own fault. He was trying to ride between a row of parked cars and a row of cars waiting at a stop light. He clips one of the parked cars, and he goes down. He looks pretty dumb doing it too. So what was with all of the reporting that a paparazzo cut him off or whatever? Weird. It seems after that little incident, Brad has upgraded to a Camaro SS (photos of the car here and here). The Camaro looks pretty bitchin?. If we were living in 1976. Or whenever Dick Tracy lived!

Although fans will have to wait until next year to see Miley Cyrus on the big screen in the "Sex and the City" sequel, the teen queen is already dishing about what it was like to work with Sarah Jessica Parker and company.
"Huge fan, and I think that Sarah Jessica Parker is so cute," she told "Extra." "And the first thing she did was hold someone's coffee so that they could take a picture with me."

In the flick, Cyrus plays herself, and she unintentionally causes trouble for Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones. At the premiere of "Heart of the Desert," a movie starring Samantha's on-again/off-again boyfriend Smith (Jason Lewis), the two ladies show up on the red carpet wearing the same sparkly gown. Unfortunately for Cyrus, she didn't get to keep the dress after the cameras stopped rolling.
"I didn't get to keep the dress because they need it for Kim," she explained. "But I got to keep the necklace. The necklace is cool. It's, like, these giant spikes, and I wanted to wear it while I was performing. My mom was like, 'That could be dangerous. ... You can't wear that onstage.' "
When MTV News asked Cyrus about her rumored role in the flick earlier this fall, the "Hannah Montana" star tried not to spill the beans, but accidentally confirmed she was involved with the flick. "Can we talk about that?" she asked her publicist, before answering, "Ah, zipped tight."

Uma Thurman, 39, has a new interview in Parade Magazine in which she’s promoting Motherhood, which is out in the US in limited release. Uma discusses life as a working mom, dealing with fame and gossip, and how a bad film choice (The Avengers) helped her make the decision to have her first child. She also talks candidly about the media scrutiny of her split with then-husband Ethan Hawke. Uma says we shouldn’t feel bad for her because the tabloids cover her personal life and that other people have worse gossip to deal with. I really admire her attitude and it sounds like she’s in a good place now.
A bad film.
“Sometimes the film you’re in, that really wasn’t good while it was going on, is the thing that pushes you to take some positive action which you never would have done if you had an easy day. It was The Avengers that brought my first baby into the world. I came home from making that movie and I started rethinking my life. I said to myself, ‘I’m going to have a baby,’ because I felt like I’d gotten to a spot where I wasn’t sure what I was acting for. Was I running from myself going from location to location? Was I hurting myself? I wanted something different that would change me.”
Coming to terms with fame.
“I was surrounded with so much hype before I was even 20. It’s like a hurdle you have to climb over. You have to prove to people that you’re not any of that list of cliches they think you are. I remember a great quote by Bill Murray who said when somebody told him they wanted to become rich and famous ? ‘Try rich first and see if that doesn’t cover it.’”
Losing her privacy.
“Katherine Hepburn once said, ‘I never care about anything that’s written about me as long as it’s not true.’ I’ll second that. But I don’t want to be a celebrity whiner. People can suffer as much from gossip in a small town as I can from a tabloid story, maybe more. So I don’t expect too much sympathy.”
And that includes the furor surrounding her split with Ethan Hawke.
“For celebrities to say that it’s tougher for them to have a lover or be married than it is for anybody in the real world is pushing the envelope a bit. I’m so sick and tired of talking about the difficult times. It’s just so boring. I mean, everyone gets divorced in this country, practically. We all just have to get over it. My marriage to Ethan just fell apart in an unfortunate and public way. I got to the point where I was going, ‘If I see one more headline about it, I’m going to gag me with a spoon.’ This is now a great time for me. I’m moving into a great time.”

I wasn’t aware that a Kill Bill sequel was already confirmed, but I found that Tarantino talked about Kill Bill 3 on an Italian talk show earlier this month.
Uma is currently engaged to Swiss financier Arpad Busson and is a mom to daughter Maya, 11, and son Levon, 7, with her ex, Ethan Hawke. She said having kids is “is the best-kept secret,” but that she’s conflicted about being a working mom and wants to make sure she’s taking worthy projects. Motherhood isn’t faring well with critics, though and only has a 24% aggregate rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Lindsay Lohan was profiled in the London Sunday Times over the weekend - but the interview is actually from Lindsay?s disastrous Paris working vacation, where she did her ?work? for Ungaro. The photographs from the Style magazine are ridiculous. It?s as if they were trying to make her look even more cracked-out with the raccoon-eyes and the whole ?topless grasping a teddy bear? thing. The interview is pretty ridiculous too, and the writer seems to know Lindsay?s a f-cking mess. Before we even read a word from Lindsay, the writer prefaces the whole disaster with stuff like ?Lohan revels in this reference to her notoriety, and pouts harder? and ?Lohan brings notoriety, press (good and bad) and a worldwide audience to a house that has been on the skids for years?. Translation: Lindsay Lohan is a mess, that?s why people are still reporting on her. It?s a long piece, so I?m just going to chop up what I think are the most interesting parts:
What Lindsay?s Paris hotel room looks like: The room looks like the aftermath of one of those home-alone teen parties advertised on Facebook that then gets horribly out of hand. Chaos rules. Designer clothes are strewn everywhere; most of them from a sweep of the Emanuel Ungaro boutique that Lohan made upon her arrival in Paris, walking away with an estimated 90,000 worth of free clothes. Shoes, make-up, jewellery, even a stray lampshade obscure the hotel carpet. Her passport is in here somewhere. She?s been looking for it for days.
What Lindsay looks like ?despite her fragile state?: She?s obviously tired, and her wet hair suggests she?s just woken up, but she is here. Wearing a ruched black Emanuel Ungaro minidress, thigh boots, a sequined black beret and a large Chanel scarf (she?d treated her 15-year-old sister, Ali, to a shopping spree there earlier in the week), the first thing you notice is how tiny she is, then what a large bosom she has. Her pale skin has been sprayed the colour of a ginger-snap biscuit and the lines etched into her freckled forehead make her look at least 10 years older than she is. She orders an iced water in a voice honed by too many cigarettes and a lifetime of late nights. When she sniffs, which is often, she refers to ?my allergies?.
Lindsay on the fashion industry: ?I?ve always been really interested in, you know, the fashion industry, and I really have a great appreciation for designers, and all the work that goes into one piece of clothing, and how expressive it can be.?

The article also has quotes from Mounir Moufarrige, the CEO of Emanuel Ungaro. He says that Lindsay was paid, but he?s very cryptic about the whole thing. He says Lindsay?s pay package is ?quite enough, it?s expensive?. He also says that Lindsay?s ?fragile? state ?has been factored in?. After hearing from this guy, I do think Lindsay was paid in some way for her work - perhaps it was in unlimited clothing, or maybe it was just cash. But I still think she?s a jewel thief!

Madonna is killing me in these pictures. The Madge graced the lovely Malawi people in her most elegant black and grey sack and Jackie O-style sunglasses on Monday. She first broke ground on the Raising Malawi Academy For Girls, then planted a small tree. A shrub, if you will. She did all of wearing some (lovely) strappy black stilettos. In some of these pictures, it looks like Madge might be losing her balance in the loose-looking dirt. The school is supposed to cost in the neighborhood of $15 million, all of it funded by Madge and Raising Malawi. Also note - The Daily Mail seems to be hinting that Madonna might have been giving off the whiff of colonialism with her Malawi appearance:
As Madonna launched the construction of her school for girls in Malawi, the pop star seemed to channel movie stars from films based in the colonial era.
Evoking Meryl Streep in Out of Africa with her flowing clothes and straw hat in hand, the pop star smiled as she opened the proceedings yesterday.
Madonna wore a silver and black patterned shawl wrapped over a conservative, knee-length black dress.
But as the 51-year-old singer laid the foundation stone of the school she decided she needed no more practical footwear than a pair of strappy black heels.
The singer has previously been criticised by conservative Malawian groups for her
outrageous fashion sense.
Madonna is funding the 9million Raising Malawi Academy, in Chinkhota village, about 15 kilometres outside the Malawian capital Lilongwe.
It is expected to be completed in two years and will admit 500 girls from the small southern African country’s 28 districts.
Holding a colourful bouquet of flowers, she smiled curtly to waiting photographers. The star laughed as she cut a ribbon at the ground-breaking ceremony and was even snapped shovelling earth and planting a tree - despite wearing the high heels.
She said: ‘Growing up in a privileged life, I took education for granted, but coming to Malawi has taught me a lot of things and I have learnt to appreciate what life gives.’
She concluded: ‘People always ask me, “Why did you choose Malawi?” But I have always said: “Malawi chose me”.’
Madonna was accompanied by her four children - daughters Lourdes and Mercy, and sons Rocco and David.
The pop star adopted Mercy from Malawi earlier this year and adopted David from the country in 2008.
Madonna’s Raising Malawi, a charity founded in 2006, helps feed, educate and provide medical care for some of Malawi’s orphans.

But I?d like to see a side-by-side comparison of Madonna and Meryl in The Devil Wears Prada. Yeah? Madge wishes. As for the whole ?Madge is a neo-colonialist? thing, I?m not really buying that either. I mean, I do think her Raising Malawi organization is sketchy, and I do think Madge is a raging narcissist, but I really do think she?s trying to help in her own way. She doesn?t expect the Malawians to crown her queen or anything. She seems to want to give back, and I can?t bash her for that.

That's why she decided to go wacky instead of sexy last year.
"I think my most memorable Halloween costume was last year's Halloween costume. My best friend Abigail and I have always been sort of anti-teeny-tiny, little costumes," she said in an interview with CMT. "And so last year, Abigail and I dressed up as twin Chewbaccas, which was an actual Halloween costume."

Still going strong on their fledgling relationship, Katy Perry and Russell Brand were spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (October 26).
The “Hot N Cold” songstress and her “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” beau ran some errands and stopped off at a gas station as the paparazzi looked on.
Coming up next week, Miss Perry will be hosting the 2009 European Video Music Awards where she’ll be donning a variety of getups.
Her stylist Johnny Wujek told press, “No way, I cannot sneak peek anything for the EMAs. Katy and I love our surprises and reveals. You’ll just have to wait.”

Enjoying a swanky night out on the town, Lindsay Lohan worked the red carpet at a charity bash at the Vibiana in Los Angeles on Monday (October 26).
Looking sexy in a little black dress and platform heels, the “Georgia Rule” actress mingled with guests including Jessica Meisels and Gavin Rossdale as she partook in the Sir Richard Branson hosted “Rock the Kasbah” fete.
Meanwhile, LiLo also revealed plans to head back to Paris to work on the autumn/Winter 2011 collection for Ungaro after getting poor reviews her first time out for the company.
Miss Lohan tells the Sunday Times, “I feel I am on the cusp of something new. I just need to be here more. I didn’t expect everyone to be completely loving the collection. Kicking off her week with a serious session of retail therapy, Rachel Bilson was spotted at The Americana shopping center yesterday (October 26).
