Trigger warning for the following story
After we heard Donald Trump brag to a laughing and complicit Billy Bush about how he enjoys sexually assaulting women and getting away with it, the press has paid more attention to the fact that he’s been accused of multiple incidents of sexual harassment and assault. Trump is currently being sued for raping a 13 year-old girl in 1994, and he was sued in 1997 for sexual harassment. His ex wife, Ivana, said during a deposition that he raped her in 1989 while they were married, although she later tried to characterize it as a “violation” instead of rape.
As many other people have said, this is not “locker room talk” which is in any way normal or acceptable. Trump said these things while making a professional appearance on a television show, athletes don’t regularly brag in the locker room about hurting women, and when it happens it’s just as much an indication of rape culture as this exchange between Trump and Bush. This incident has created a movement of women sharing their stories of being assaulted, raped and hurt by men. Amber Tamblyn posted a story about an abusive ex who did grab her by the “pussy,” resulting in extensive vaginal bruising and pain. It took a lot of courage for her to share this.
I need to tell you a story. With the love and support of my husband, I've decided to share it publicly. A very long time ago I ended a long emotionally and physically abusive relationship with a man I had been with for some time. One night I was at a show with a couple girlfriends in Hollywood, listening to a DJ we all loved. I knew there was a chance my ex could show up, but I felt protected with my girls around me. Without going into all the of the details, I will tell you that my ex did show up, and came up to me in the crowd. He's a big guy, taller than me. The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina? my pussy?? and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club. His fingers were practically inside of me, his other hand wrapped tightly around my hair. I screamed and kicked and cried. He carried me this way, suspended by his hands, all the way across the room, pushing past people until he got to the front door. My friends ran after him, trying to stop him. We got to the front door and I thank God his brothers were also there and intervened. In the scuffle he grabbed at my clothes, trying to hold onto me, screaming at me, and inadvertently ripped off my grandmother?s necklace, which I was wearing. The rest of this night is a blur I do not remember. How I got out to the car. How I got away from him that night. I never returned for my necklace either. That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he?d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend's violence for at least the next week. I had a hard time wearing jeans. I couldn?t sleep without a pillow between my legs to create space. To this day I remember that moment. I remember the shame. I am afraid my mom will read this post. I'm even more afraid that my father could ever know this story. That it would break his heart. I couldn't take that. But you understand, don't you? I needed to tell a story. Enjoy the debates tonight.

| Kim Kardashian will lose $1 million a month by staying undercover post-robbery | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kim Kardashian really has gone quiet following her assault and robbery in Paris one week ago. She flew to New York just hours after she was held at gunpoint, and then days later, she flew back home to LA without Kanye West (but with her children). Sources continue to insist that Kim is traumatized, that she?s blaming herself and that she?s never going to be the same after this. Kim and most of her family have cancelled their engagements and appearances in the wake of the robbery, and E! has suspended filming on Keeping Up with the Kardashians until further notice, although I believe that they?ll probably start filming in a week or two. So what is the ?financial hit? for the Kardashians following Kim?s robbery?
In the wake of Kim Kardashian West?s Paris robbery, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has suspended all commitments indefinitely and stopped posting on social media ? decisions that could cost her more than $1 million a month. Kim she has intentionally retreated from the public eye both online and at in-person events. But although her monetary losses may be significant in the short-term, a financial expert tells PEOPLE that she could capitalize in the long-term ? if she ?positions [her return to social media] correctly.?
Celebrity financial adviser Samuel Rad tells PEOPLE that Kardashian West?s ?overall brand is generating at least $1 million a month through just general posts, not including anything that?s specifically being contracted with companies,? which is separate from special event appearances where he estimates she racks in between $200,000 to $300,000. Rad also estimates that her personal, non-ad-

| Sarah Jessica Parker has a crazy theory about Sex and the City | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

You would think with Sarah Jessica Parker being such a busy lady, what with starring on the HBO series Divorce and launching her own book publishing label, she wouldn’t have time to sit around and entertain wild theories. Well, she’s managed to carve out some free time and has come up with a whopper about the show that made her a star. No, not Square Pegs – although that was my favorite show starring SJP.
On Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist poscast, the 51-year-old actress mused that her Sex and the City cohorts Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, played by Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, were the products of Sarah’s writer character Carrie’s imagination. She told Chris:
?I used to wonder if Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda were real. That that wasn?t just her column.?
?They?re such perfectly archetypal characters. So you?re writing a column about sexual politics and observations of female-male, primarily, heterosexual relationships, so you?re picking one type. You?re saying, ?This type is this and this,? and then you complicate it more, like any good writer does. So I?m not entirely sure they are real…What we are seeing isn?t necessarily what happened in New York.?
[From Nerdist/NY Mag]
So, basically, Carrie just had a lot of imaginary friends? I always thought the characters, especially Samantha, were over the top, which does lend some credence to Sarah’s theory. If the characters were figments of Carrie’s imagination, that would definitely explain the second SATC movie.
The SJP news I’m more excited about from this week was talk of a sequel to Hocus Pocus. This is something I can definitely get behind. On Watch What Happens Live last week, Andy Cohen asked Sarah about the possibility of getting together with Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy to reprise their roles as the Sanderson sisters, she replied, “I would love that. I think we?ve all been fairly vocal about being very keen, but that hasn?t created any groundswell of movement.” Oh, please make this happen.

| Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton at BFI London premiere: cute or unflattering? | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Since it?s looking more and more like The Birth of a Nation isn?t going to have much of an Oscar campaign, it?s worth taking stock of what films are going to be discussed in the coming months for the awards season. One of the films on top of that list is Manchester by the Sea, Kenneth Lonergan?s much-anticipated movie starring Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams. These are photos from the BFI London Film Festival premiere of the film.
For the premiere, Michelle wore Louis Vuitton. She wears a ton of LV whenever she?s on the red carpet these days, mostly because she?s an LV model and brand ambassador. As I said last week, I don?t think Michelle?s association with LV does much for either of them, and this dress is a perfect example of why that is. This dress is so? nothingburger. Maybe I would like it more on someone else, but I don?t even think that?s it. It?s just a nothing dress ? I don?t find the touch of acid-green offensive or beautiful. The cut is adequate and yet not really flattering. It hangs well but it?s so boring. It doesn?t help that Michelle barely styled this look ? she?s wearing zero jewelry, and that clutch isn?t even power-clashing.
I also have something controversial to say about Michelle?s hair: I?m so f?king over this look on her. The white-blonde is TERRIBLE on her. She doesn?t look cool or trendy, which is what I think we?re supposed to think. I?m also pretty much over the short hair on her, although if she had a darker blonde, you would be able to see that the style isn?t too bad.
As for the film? as I said, it?s still on a lot of critics? lists for one of the best films of the year. It will be interesting to see if Casey Affleck takes any PR-heat for those 2010 accusations of sexual harassment and worse. It will be interesting to see if he gets asked about it all, especially in the wake of Nate Parker?s implosion.

| Star: Naomi Watts left Liev Schreiber over fears that he was cheating | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The tabloids are now playing catch up with Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s breakup, which was handled admirably well in the press. In case you missed it, they released a joint statement almost two weeks ago in which they said that they’re splitting but that they still have love and respect for each other. There were a few well-placed source quotes in the major outlets stating that they’ve had problems for a while, but that’s it. Plus they did it in the wake of the Brangelina split and waited until after they were done promoting their projects and the awards ceremonies had wrapped. Star Magazine called the breakup back in January and they seemed to have some insider information about the state of their relationship. (Maybe the paparazzi tipped them off that the two were living apart.) Now that it’s actually happened it’s more of the same from the tabloids, along with whispers that Liev was cheating on Naomi. I don’t doubt that could have happened but we haven’t heard any details about that and so far it’s just rumors. (There’s a 2011 story from The Dirty which has specifics, but that one has been denied by the alleged other woman.) You would think that someone would come out of the woodwork with a story, but there’s nothing. Here’s Star’s report and it’s vague:
“The possibility of Liev straying has been eating away at Naomi for years,? a family insider tells Star. ?There have been a number of rumors about him cheating throughout their relationship, and I wouldn?t be surprised if Naomi felt in her heart that he?d been unfaithful, and she turned a bling eye for the sake of their children, but it?s finally come to a head.?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
Then the National Enquirer takes it too far by claiming that Naomi was jealous of Liev’s on-air romps as Ray Donovan. Their source claims “Naomi couldn?t get past the fact that Liev was always dallying with the hot women who were his co-stars.” He’s acting and Naomi is an actress too, I’m sure she understands. While I’m annoyed with the number of women who throw themselves at his character that’s not necessarily on Liev. He has a lot of control over the show as we learned in his Esquire profile but I don’t know how far that extends and regardless that’s fiction which shouldn’t reflect on him.
I’m still somewhat broken up over this because I just loved these two together. They handled it well, the tabloids are covering them without nailing down any details, and I’ll say what I’ve said to date about these two: I like that they’re keeping their lives private. Part of that is that there’s not a lot of interest in them, but they’ve cultivated that lack of interest as well.
Naomi celebrated her birthday just a couple of days after the split was announced. Liev commented on her birthday post on Instagram “Happy Birthday Sweetheart.” Then, Naomi posted this nice message for Liev’s birthday just six days later.
Happy Birthday to this one!! @lievschreiber ???
