A few months back, LaineyGossip referred to Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence as the Prom King and Prom Queen of Hollywood. It?s true ? they are the two most successful young actors, and it seems pretty obvious that producers and studios would look to put them in a project together. That project ended up being? Passengers, a sci-fi love story. They filmed the project last year and the first trailer was released today:
I understand how this looked good on paper. Sci-fi, everybody loves something sleek and cool and futuristic. Everybody loves romance between two attractive people. Everybody loves action-drama too. But is it just me or does it seem? kind of blandly uninspired? Don?t get me wrong, I?m sort of curious to learn why their characters ?woke up,? but is that enough to see the film? No. But I?m sure people will go see it, considering it stars the Prom King and Prom Queen.

Several weeks back, I read an article on Slate which really stuck with me. It bothered me so much! Slate wrote about how airlines (American and internationally) are ill-equipped to deal with sexual assaults and sexual harassment which occur on-board. You can read the Slate article here. The following story reminded me a lot of the Slate piece, because at some point, I would have hoped that someone (a flight attendant, the air marshal, someone) would have stepped in and helped out Sophia Bush. But it doesn?t seem like they did. Sophia Bush posted a statement on her Twitter over the weekend, detailing her uncomfortable and creepy encounter with a man on a plane. This is what she wrote:
Dear Random Dude on a Plane:
When you make a woman so visibly uncomfortable, that after you’ve ignored all visual cues to please leave her alone (one word answers, she pulls out a book, puts on a hat, she actually asks you to not speak to her with the tone and words you’re choosing to use) that she finally GETS UP and MOVES SEATS, leave her alone. Do not continue trying to make conversation.
Stop turning around and looking at her. Stop leaning out of your seat and towards her body when she has to grab something out of the overhead bin above her original seat, and sadly also above you, mid flight.
And in my case, stop believing that you are entitled to make me uncomfortable because you ?watch my TV show’ so I owe you some magical debt. I make it, you watch it. After that, the ?exchange’ is done. You do not get to harass me, or any woman, because you think you pay our bills. You don’t bro, I DO.”

Yeah, that?s harassment. When you make a woman feel that uncomfortable, that?s harassment and it should have been stopped by a flight attendant or someone else. Not that it?s the airline?s fault, nor is it Sophia?s responsibility to take action against someone harassing her. It?s the dude?s fault. He sounds like a total creep. Ugh. But the thing is, I bet there are a lot of men who think this way, that there?s something transactional in their encounters with a famous woman, that she ?owes? him something. Disgusting.

Kendall Jenner covers the latest ?special issue? of Allure Magazine. I mean? this is the October issue, so I?m not sure what makes this a special issue, but sure. Branding, I guess. Exclusivity. Hype. Kendall Jenner? Ordinarily, I find Kendall?s editorial work and interviews to be the gossip equivalent of watching paint dry. This editorial is boring/fine to me ? they didn?t Photoshop her that much, her clothes are sort of interesting and her expression isn?t set to ?dead-eyed.? Surprisingly though, I didn?t completely hate the interview ? you can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
Her phone screensaver: “It’s really obnoxious,” she says, gleefully showing me a text bubble that reads “I gave you a boner, don’t ignore me.”
Staying mysterious on social media: “I want my Instagram to look good. You go through people’s pages and it’s all, like, selfies or their butts. I love a good belfie?don’t get me wrong. I post those every once in a while.”
She?s BFFs with Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, & Hailey Baldwin: “This is going to sound really, really lame, but we all call ourselves the Super Natural Friend Group because we all have such cool individual lives and we’ve been dreaming about them since we were so young. I’m a Scorpio, so I stick to people. If I love you, I love you. If I don’t like you, you’re screwed.”
She doesn?t live on social media: “I find it offensive if you’re with someone at a dinner and they’re just sitting on their phone the whole time. I take that personally. Like, am I not interesting enough for you to talk to me? It’s so crazy because even though we talk about trying to be present, everyone wants to be in the future now. I definitely have close friends, and even some family members, who are so connected to their phone and can’t get off of it.”
A story about Kylie: “It was the first time we had ever been to this beautiful place, and we were sitting in a car,” she says. “I was just zoning out, taking it all in. And Kylie wouldn’t put her phone down. I’m like, ‘That’s so crazy to me that you’re not experiencing this.’ That was the moment it kind of clicked for me. And I didn’t like it. So sometimes I delete Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat off my phone for a couple days.”
She?s very OCD: She doesn’t really drink alcohol (unless she’s “in Europe and it’s legal”). She likes to bake cupcakes, cookies, and “insane maple scones from scratch.” She prizes neatness. “Oh, I’m ridiculously OCD. Order gives me a complete feeling, like everything is good.”
Her dating life: “I just?my personal life, I’m so young. Whoever I’m dating, or going to be dating, is young, too. So I don’t think it’s figured out. Do you know what I mean? So if I don’t know what it is, I’d rather not let everyone else know.”

I know people with actual obsessive-compulsive disorder who hate when celebrities throw around their self-diagnosed ?OCD? label like it?s just something cute and quirky. There are degrees of OCD, of course, but I doubt Kendall is even a high-functioning obsessive-compulsive. She?s probably just an organized person who likes things done a certain way. Which is not the same thing as OCD. As for this? ?We all call ourselves the Super Natural Friend Group because we all have such cool individual lives?? Girl, the Super Natural Friend Group???? No!!

They have been together since 2005, and they married in 2014. They celebrated their second wedding anniversary less than a month ago, where they allegedly got a hotel room for a night. Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt and the trigger was a conflict over the kids… TMZ has learned. Jolie filed legal docs Monday citing irreconcilable differences. She’s asking for physical custody of the couple’s 6 children. She is asking the judge to give Pitt visitation. It’s significant …she does not want Brad to have joint physical custody … only joint legal custody.
Sources connected with the couple tell us … Angelina’s decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children … she was extremely upset with his methods.
We’re told there was no alleged “third person” … her decision to file was solely over Brad’s interaction with their children. Jolie, who’s being repped by disso queen Laura Wasser, is not asking for spousal support. Jolie lists the date of separation as Sept. 15, 2016. They married in August, 2014. They’ve been together since 2004.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in Florida over the past few days. Kim has been getting pap?d constantly, almost as if she knew that people were paying attention to the Emmys and she wanted to ensure she got lots of attention too. I actually made a point of not choosing any of the photos where Kim had gotten her t-ts out and she was just wandering around, fully exposed for some reason. On Monday, Kim also posted a justification for her recent spate of public nudity, writing on her app: ?I have always loved sheer?I just don?t GAF, LOL.?
