She?s done her best to keep things under wraps regarding her decision to divorce cheating hubby Jesse James, but Sandra Bullock?s legal papers have been uncovered.
The ?Proposal? actress filed her paperwork in Austin, Texas under her initials, but instead of S.A.B, they appeared backwards- B.A.S.
Under grounds for the divorce, she wrote, "The marriage between Petitioner and Respondent has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectations of reconciliation."
As a result, the petition says, Bullock and James ?have ceased to live together as husband and wife."
Furthermore, "There is no child under eighteen years of age or otherwise entitled to support who was born or adopted of this marriage and none is expected."

Bullock reveals that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3-month-old boy born in New Orleans. Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family ? including James’s children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 ? were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.
Then, just 10 days after the March 7 Oscars, Bullock and James separated following reports James had cheated. Bullock says she is now adopting as a single parent.

When you’re the World’s Most Beautiful Woman, there are a few things to always remember before leaving the house: Brush your teeth. Don’t take longer than the kids to get ready. And leave certain things (hair color and waxing) to trained professionals. Or so says Julia Roberts in an exclusive Q&A to celebrate her fourth turn as the cover girl for PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful issue.
Though it’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since Roberts starred in Pretty Woman, her relaxed vibe about beauty has served her well over the years. “She’s never looked more beautiful,” says Ryan Murphy, the director of her upcoming film, Eat, Pray, Love, based on the huge bestseller. “She is so happy and fulfilled and it shows.”
At 42, the mom of three (twins Hazel and Phinnaeus are 5 and Henry is 2) signed her first beauty contract in January to become Lancome’s global ambassador. “It’s fun to find myself with this type of new career at my advanced age!” she writes about the gig, in the issue on newsstands Friday.
While Roberts still wows on her rare red-carpet appearances, her beauty team reveals that it never takes more than two hours to get her ready ? even for the Oscars. “There is nothing contrived,” says her longtime hairdresser Serge Normant. “She believes you have to be comfortable ? you have to have a good time.”
Still, she does have a few beauty tricks up her sleeve. According to Genevieve, her makeup artist, Roberts uses a moisturizing tint (no heavy foundation ? ever), followed by a creamy blush. “Her skin is amazing,” says Genevieve. Then comes Roberts’s fave part: eyeliner ? smudged and sexy. “It’s something she can’t live without,” notes Genevieve. Two coats of mascara, followed by a natural sexy lip “not too shiny” and she can put those 20-something starlets to shame.
But, at home, Roberts favors a more relaxed look: makeup-free and often in yoga pants. It’s all part of her easy home life that she’s embraced since marrying cameraman Danny Moder, 41. “She seems to have made peace with everything,” says Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall, a longtime pal. “He is a laid-back guy. Surfing is his big thing. He’s not a driving ambitious husband. They kind of enjoy being with each other without a big circus.” And the kids? “They are very cute and have a great joie de vivre, which Julia always had,” he says.
Even her old pal George Clooney agrees she’s as beautiful inside as out. “There’s a reason why Julia is a timeless beauty, and it has nothing to do with the way she looks,” he says. “It has everything to do with who she is.”

No, I?m just shocked that they decided to keep the adoption a secret, and then kept the secret successfully for so long. Even though I?m sure some people will think ?Poor Sandra? For some God-awful reason, Esquire decided to profile Paris Hilton in their May issue devoted to women. I haven?t paid attention to Paris in a while, only catching up on her antics as I skimmed stories for the links. I know she and Doug Reinhardt finally broke up, and I know that they?re now fighting about who did the dumping and who had more to gain from the relationship. So, basically, I?m reading this Paris profile without feeling the heavy nausea that I feel when I?m reading about someone like, say, Tila Tequila. Paris seems almost quaint compared to many of the f-cking train wrecks operating in Celebrity-ville today. However, even though I went into this wanting to give Paris the benefit of the doubt, I realized that Paris is still the same old moron. But it?s comforting, on some level. The complete Esquire piece is here (it?s a slideshow with interview excerpts), but here are some of the highlights:
Three days and nights in Parisworld is an experience like few others, and not in a bad way, either. It confirmed what we have always believed ? the best stories happen when subjects let us in. It began with a blind e-mail contact, a week of back and forth, a trial meeting ? the father looked me over pretty good before the okay was given. It ended on a windy night in her boudoir, the balcony doors thrown open. And then, before you knew it, it was over.
Paris Hilton opens her house and speaks of everything: Her sex tape (”I was humiliated. There were people who thought I released it myself.”), her “reckless driving” (on an empty stomach on her way to In-N-Out), the bogus photo-shopped pudenda scandal (”Ewww. I always wear underwear.”) ? and along the way demonstrates how easy it is for a real person to be turned into a cartoon character. Is it possible there’s something about Paris Hilton that we’ve missed?
The tour begins, cordially enough, in the drawing room of her house. There are pictures, images, likenesses everywhere. Many are of Paris herself ? only the hottest justify display. Many are of Paris and her friends. Paris and Mariah. Paris and Jessica. Paris and Carmen. Paris and Fergie. Paris and Nicole and Nicky, each of them in its own fun frame.
Paris only rarely employs her well-known baby-sexpot voice. (”I talk like that when I’m nervous,” she will later say.) When the producers signed up Paris for The Simple Life, she says they gave her these acting notes: “Paris, be the dumbest you can be. Just be a dumb, ditzy blonde ? like Legally Blonde meets Green Acres meets Clueless.” BFF Nicole Richie, her sidekick, was told to be the mean one. BTW, they are friends again. “That whole fight was engineered by the producers,” Paris says unconvincingly, the only time that I feel she is being less than honest.
“My house is kind of like a reflection of my life and my accomplishments and what I’ve done,” Paris says in her serious voice. “And I’ve done it all on my own. When my parents and my grandfather came over for the first time, I was so proud. It just feels good to like walk around and be like … I earned all this, you know? I see some of my friends I grew up with from rich families. Their parents spoiled them and they never made them work and just give them an allowance. And now they’re like 30 and still living off the parents, having to ask for everything, being on a budget. It’s nice to feel accomplished and independent. I don’t have to depend on anyone but myself.”
It was here, in the living room, where Paris spoke about the reckless driving arrest that led to her infamous incarceration: “It wasn’t even a DUI, that was not why I was in jail. That’s why I was charged with reckless driving. It was literally three sips of a margarita at dinner after I had just shot my music video ? I hadn’t really eaten anything all day and I showed up to the dinner late because I was shooting the music video. And then, like two blocks away from In-N-Out burger, is where I got pulled over. I just thought it was really unfair.”
Paris’s assortment of Pink two-wheeled conveyances, including a Pink scooter, a Pink mountain bike, a Pink beach cruiser, and a Pink Harley Davidson mini. Girlish? Princess-like? Absolutely. On her signature Pink Bentley, Paris has this to say: “It’s a little too showy to drive it anywhere, unfortunately.” The inside is custom decorated with Swarovski crystal.
Before we went to lunch at the Ivy, Paris felt as if her car was too dirty to drive, so she hosed it off herself. On the way home out of the restaurant, we were surrounded by paparazzi. A chase ensued through Beverly Hills: She set her jaw, blared Madonna’s “Like a Virgin,” and gunned the throaty blue Bentley convertible, weaving through traffic, making it into a little game. There was no anger evident; it was more like sport.
She does not seem to be one of those celebs who complains about the very system that got her here in the first place ? though she could do without the helicopters hovering over her place when she’s trying to lay out at her own pool. At times, her celebrity is frightening even to her.

What is she so proud of achieving again? That people pay her to show up at parties? Really? And that gives her a sense of ?accomplishment and independence.? Ugh. Same old Paris.

Some people do retro very, very well. Some people do touches of retro in an otherwise modern look, and that can work well too. But I?m not entirely convinced with either Kate Hudson or Jessica Alba - they made a red carpet appearance for the Tribeca Film Festival?s premiere of The Killer Inside Me. Jessica seems to be channeling 1960s hippie-meets-goddess, and it kind of falls flat. The dress is terrible, in my opinion, but I do like her hair and makeup. Kate on the other hand - her coat seems 1960s-by-way-of-Mad-Men (photo below), but the dress is just cute. Plus, for those of us who remain on Implant Watch, she?s looking a little bigger, right? Here?s more from the red carpet:
Kate, who turned 31 last week, had earlier turned heads as she arrived at the School of Visual Arts Theatre in a stylish black and white poncho, also designed by Louis Vuitton. Her hair was styled into a glamorous retro do, with strong make-up to match and a pair of patent pumps by Brian Atwood - finished off with jewels by Cartier.
Jessica, 29, also took a step back in time, seemingly influenced by the sixties with her bohemian ensemble consisting of a sheer white lightly-pleated maxi dress by Chloe matched with dark-coloured strappy heels and a cream handbag. Alba’s hair fitted in with the hippy style of her dress, and she wore several chains round her neck to complete the look.
Kate told U.S. website Entertainment Tonight that her six-year-old son Ryder gave her last-minute fashion advice for the red carpet.
She said: ‘He is very, very, very particular about the things that he likes, and he’s very vocal about when he doesn’t like something I’m wearing.’
The Killer Inside Me follows a charming, unassuming small town sheriff’s deputy (played by Casey Affleck) juggling his long-term girlfriend (Hudson) and a prostitute (Alba) he falls for while grappling with the sociopathic tendencies inside him. The controversial film takes place in West Texas during the 1950s and is based on Jim Thompson’s pulp novel.
In January, the Toronto Sun reported that many cinema-goers left the first screening at the 1,200-seat Eccles Theatre at the Sundance Film Festival after being disturbed by the gory sex scenes and the sado-masochistic violence.
But both actresses have defended the movie and praised director Michael Winterbottom for staying true to the original novel.
Hudson said: ‘This is my third movie with Casey… so I immediately felt excited about having an opportunity to do that again. And it’s such a great role for Casey, and it was an interesting role for me - just really meaty scenes, you know, different and dark.’
Alba, meanwhile, spoke of her excitement at working with the director.
She said: ‘I’ve done a lot of movies that are big and commercial and I just really wanted to work with Michael Winterbottom. This was purely a creative decision.’
And the British also defended his film, after he was criticised during a question and answer session at Sundance earlier this year.
He told reporters: ‘The violence is shocking in the book and it?s shocking in the film. It?s not a police procedural. The story is being told by someone who?s crazy. The story is the way he tells it and sees it, not the way it happened. The film has no sense of pleasure in the violence.’

I?m tempted to say Kate looked better - or I would be if she wasn?t making dumb faces in every single photo. At one point on the red carpet, Kate?s dress blew up or something, and Jessica had to help Kate keep all of her lady parts hidden. However, there are no photos of the skirt blowing up that I?ve seen, so it just looks like Alba is obsessed with touching the skirt. Weird:
