Earlier this week, Kim fired back at claims that she overindulged with long massage sessions while staying in Thailand with her family.
She blogged, "I see the hotel I stayed at gave quotes that I had 6-hour spa treatments daily. The hotel was gorgeous and had amazing service, but not once did I get a massage, which I'm actually pissed I didn't do because a Thai massage I heard are the best! Never once did I get a manicure or any other spa treatment. NOT ONE! So I really don't appreciate false info making me out to be a diva."
"Buuuuut even if family members got spa treatments they should because we were on vacation! Like I get it, they want to promote their gorgeous resort and spa, but just don't lie?. I would rather spend six hours a day with my family and daughter, not in spa treatments. I just hate when people lie about things. Thailand was beautiful, great food, amazing people. Yay, more quotes from Scarlett Johansson?s Glamour & Vanity Fair cover profiles! Huzzah. I can already tell that I?m going to hate the full write-up in VF. It?s all about how she?s a goddess among women and every ScarJo fart is laced with gold and perfume. According to The Daily Mail, Scarlett did talk to VF about her fianc and some other stuff. Some highlights:
ScarJo on Romain: ?It is [easier to be with someone who isn't famous], but it’s more than that?We do different things. He’s in the whole art-scene world. So it’s nice, because we can enjoy each other’s worlds, but we don’t have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with.?
On the SodaStream controversy: ?[I'm being called] the new face of apartheid. There?s a lot of anti-Semitism out there.?

Considering I was one of the few people who was kind of on her side about the SodaStream mess, I have to say… yeah, I think part of it was anti-Semitism. She’s making it into a blanket condemnation, like every single person who criticized her decision to sign on to SodaStream and drop her Oxfam work was an anti-Semite, and that’s not the case. But SOME of it was anti-Semitic or at the very least, a knee-jerk anti-Israel reaction.
Does anyone else read her comments on ?emotional actors? and think that she?s shading Ryan Reynolds a little bit? Am I overanalyzing? It?s possible. But it feels like she was talking about Romain being someone ?not famous? and how different that is, and like there?s a subtle comparison about Ryan being melodramatic or something.

Last Friday, we had some of the first photos of Jennifer Aniston on the California set of Cake, her new drama (dramedy?) which has Aniston looking? well, kind of rough. You have to remember, through Aniston?s career, her movies can usually be described as ?the one where she wore all the scarves? or ?the one where she was in the bikini? or ?the one with that cute white dress.? My point? Aniston usually makes a point to only do films where she looks cute and has a great wardrobe. Cake is not that kind of film.
Anyway, these are some assorted new and newish photos from the set. I?d heard that Aniston?s character had some kind of backstory that involved chronic pain, but as you can see in some of these photos, Aniston is wearing prosthetic/makeup scars on her face. That surprised me. I think she?s got some scars on her hands too, or maybe the lighting is just weird. So? start your engines. Everyone is already talking about how Aniston is ?uglying up? for an Oscar bid, like Charlize Theron in Monster or something. I don?t know though? you can give her bad clothes (and seriously, her outfits are NOT CUTE in this movie) and scars, but will she still flap her hands, pout and tilt her head like Rachel Green? If so, maybe not so much with the Oscar talk.
That being said, I applaud Jennifer for mixing it up at long last. Cake is the first film Aniston is executive producing through her recently inked deal with Shenghua Entertainment/Cinelou Films, which basically means that Chinese producers want a foothold in Hollywood. Shenghua has financed Cake for $7-10 million, which means it will probably be eligible for Independent Spirit Awards. Maybe that?s what Aniston should aim for.

The Coachella music festival in California kicks off Friday, and while tickets are selling for hundreds of dollars online, Confidenti@l has learned how much celebs are being paid to attend the event. Lea Michele will earn a cool $20,000 from Lacoste to wear its clothes while she rocks out to headliners OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire, while Vanessa Hudgens is being paid $15,000 by McDonald?s to hit the festival.
Some stars are still looking for companies to pony up the cash in exchange for plugging their products. We hear Aaron Paul is asking for $15,000 and at least 2 VIP passes, while Kate Bosworth is demanding double that. Joe Jonas is seeking somewhere under $20,000, while British fashion blogger Louise Roe wants $5,000 and three tickets. Coachella runs this coming weekend and April 18-20.

Do you realize we?re less than a month away from the 2014 Met Gala? It?s true. This year?s Met Gala is on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo!). I was thinking about last year?s Met Gala, when Anne Hathaway showed up with her bleach-blonde hair. I wonder if Annie is coming this year and if she will do something else equally dramatic. Because these days, I?m longing for her to change up her hair. I?m tired of the short look on her. I?m not saying she should get extensions or anything, but I?d like to see her start growing that crap out.
