Sophie Turner was 19/20 years old when she first started seeing Joe Jonas in 2016. By 2018, they were engaged and in 2019, they were married. She was 23 years old. Then she was 24 when she welcomed their first daughter, Willa, and 26 when she welcomed their second daughter last year (whose name we still don?t know). And now Sophie is 27 years old and that?s when her husband filed for divorce because she went back to work and hung out with friends. While the Daily Mail has taken up Sophie?s case part of their ongoing transatlantic feud the Mail is also a misogynistic rag, so I?m not sure they?re doing Sophie any favors here. Some highlights from the Mail?s exclusive:
Problems for all of 2023: A friend of Sophies, who did not want to be named, revealed that the couple started having problems last Christmas and that she separated from him at the start of this summer, spending the ensuing months partying with school friends in the UK or holidaying with them in Europe. The actress looked in high spirits as she partied the night away at arcade bar Dropshot Digbeth in Birmingham where she had been filming her upcoming ITV series, Joan. Its believed to have been the wrap party for the series, which has seen Sophie working in Britain since May, and she let her hair down in style as she enjoyed the 6.50 cocktails and showcased her strength by punching a boxing game.
A British visit: In an effort to save the marriage, Joe came to the UK with their two children over the summer and spent time in Warwickshire, where Sophie was brought up. But after failing to work through their differences, he returned to the US with their children who have been living with him since the split.
Sophie felt trapped: The friend revealed: Sophie feels like shes only just waking up to what her life and reality really is. She became famous at a very young age, then married and had kids at a young age and never really had the teenage years of sleeping around and just having carefree fun with friends. She feels like her life has stalled after Game of Thrones and so has her personal life. Since the kids came along, shes feeling trapped. Shes the only person in her tight friendship group who is married with two children? Now she feels that she wants to make up for the time shes lost as a young person. He (Joe) wants a more settled life but shes not ready for that because she feels that shes not even had a teen or young adult life.
Joe wanted another child: Joe would like another kid, hes a real family man. But while Sophies been in the UK, shes also realised just how much she misses this country; its the final nail in the coffin for them.
Being compared to Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra: Nick is younger than Joe but is more settled. He and Priyanka are on the same page about their careers and family life. Joe and his family want him to be in a relationship like this, but Sophie feels that shes only 27 and hasnt even really lived because shes spent all her good, young years working. It wasnt an issue at first but the age gap between Sophie and Joe has become a real problem. They want very different things.

Here?s what I believe from these quotes: I believe that Sophie felt trapped because Joe trapped her, I believe she?s been homesick for England for a while and I believe that once she took a job in England for months, that was basically the beginning of the end. She got away from Joe and took a good look at her life in comparison to her peers, she likely realized that she wants to keep working and she wants to have some different experiences beyond the tradwife life. The thing is, people were concerned about this from the very beginning of her relationship with Joe I remember saying ?wow, she?s too young for all of this.? Did her family not say that to her? Did her friends? I mean, what?s done is done, but yeah? this was all heavily foreshadowed for years, she just didn?t see it. Oh, and Joe wanted a third kid? Get off of her! Let her work!

Back in February-March, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had some kind of major falling out. She removed her engagement ring, she was seen crying after one of his shows, she was acting like she was single and ready to mingle at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. MGK and Megan reportedly went into couples counseling but it was touch-and-go for a few months. I was rooting for them to breakup, just because I don?t think their relationship is particularly healthy and it feels like they could use some space from one another, to put it mildly. But they got back together and the engagement is back ?on,? last I heard. One month ago, Entertainment Tonight reported this:

One of the funniest/sleaziest dramas of the year had to be the Al Pacino/Noor Alfallah saga. In late May, we learned that 82-year-old Al Pacino was expecting a child with his 29-year-old ?girlfriend? Noor Alfallah. Pacino?s people called her a golddigger and suggested openly that she scammed her way into the pregnancy, while Noor?s people were like ?she?s not a golddigger, she just loves old people!? It?s true that Noor is seemingly always in the company of a much older man. In any case, the pregnancy story set off a two-week gossip bonanza and finally, Pacino tried to put a bow on it by talking publicly about how he was looking forward to being a father again. Al and Noor made a big show of being ?together? and she quietly welcomed a boy, Roman Pacino, in June. Now the ?relationship? with Al Pacino is over and Noor has gone to court to establish custody of Roman.
Al Pacinos girlfriend Noor Alfallah has filed for physical custody of their son, Roman, according to multiple reports. In legal docs obtained by The Blast, Alfallah, 29, requests that Pacino, 83, have ?reasonable visitation? of their 3-month-old baby.
Alfallah, a producer who graduated from the University of Southern California?s Cinematic School of Artagrees, also reportedly requested the Academy Award winner have joint legal custody, which would allow him to participate in major decisions concerning their baby, including medical treatment and education.
A specified amount for child support was not listed in the initial filing, according to The Blast, but per California law, the income of each parent is to be established first before ordering child support.
Alfallah is also reportedly asking the court for the House of Gucci star to pay for her legal fees and any costs associated with the case.
A Voluntary Declaration of Parentage (or Paternity) was signed by both parties, according to reports, six days before baby Roman was born. A VDOP is a ?government form two parents can sign to create a legal parent-child relationship between a child and parent? and is ?often signed at the hospital when a child is born, but it can be signed later,? according to California Courts. The document was signed by Pacino and a third-party witness.
On Wednesday, Pacino and Alfallah were spotted at dinner at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles with another couple, a source tells PEOPLE. The pair arrived together and enjoyed dinner next to each other, the source added.

It actually sounds like Al and Noor are on the same page about his involvement and financial responsibilities and that they?re doing everything through the court so it will be above-board and established. I?m really happy to see that no one is buying Joe Jonas? week-long smear campaign against his estranged wife Sophie Turner. Sophie and Joe?s names have been trending on the artist formerly known as Twitter, and it?s just wall-to-wall call-outs for what Team Jonas is trying to do. First, Joe wanted sympathy because the poor dude is looking after his children this summer while Sophie works in England. Then he filed for divorce and leaked to TMZ that Sophie ?likes to party,? GASP. Even if it was true (there?s no evidence that it is), liking to go out to a nightclub with friends isn?t a divorceable offense. Still, Team Jonas isn?t giving up their quest to turn Sophie into The Unfit Mother Who Likes To Party. Apparently, Joe was monitoring his wife on a ring camera and he saw her do or say something that he didn?t like. My dude, why are you monitoring your wife again? CREEP.
Joe Jonas saw/heard something with Sophie Turner that was the last straw in his decision to file for divorce, and it involves a ring camera.
Multiple sources who have direct contact with Joe tell TMZ Joe had access to a ring cam that he said captured Sophie saying and/or doing something that made him realize the marriage was over.
TMZ broke the story Joe and Sophies marriage had been on the rocks for at least 6 months, and it was all over a significant difference in lifestyles. As one source put it, She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.
As we reported, over the last 3 months, Joe has had the kids almost all the time. Sophie has been in London, but Joe and his bros were touring the U.S. and he had his 2 small kids in tow.
We know Joe had been in touch with at least 2 divorce lawyers last week. Interestingly, both lawyers are in L.A., yet he decided to file divorce docs Tuesday in Florida.

My question is about logistics Sophie has been working in England for months, presumably staying at a hotel or some kind of rental home/apartment. When and where did this ring-cam incident take place? Did Sophie know she was on camera? Did she know Joe was monitoring her every fking move? And was this just something he watched randomly, or was he poring over all of their ring-cam footage obsessively? I?ve seen a lot of people theorize that Sophie was probably just talking to a friend and bitching about her marriage or complaining about Joe. Anyway, this story makes Joe come across as such a creep.

Although Emily Blunt did an excellent job in Oppenheimer, I did think it was kind of a thankless part. That does not appear to be the case with her next project. Yesterday Netflix released a trailer for Pain Hustlers, coming out in late October and starring Blunt and Chris Evans as pharmaceutical reps. I?m getting Erin Brockovich-meets-Breaking Bad vibes, with an opioid-crisis setting:
Emily Blunt is hustling her way to the top in her latest film.
On Wednesday, Netflix debuted the first trailer for Pain Hustlers, which stars Blunt and Chris Evans as pharmaceutical sales employees pushing opioids in a story based on real events.
Blunt plays Liza Drake, a single mom ?at the end of her rope? after losing her job, per a synopsis. ?A chance meeting with pharmaceutical sales rep Pete Brenner (Evans) puts her on an upwards trajectory economically but dubious path ethically as she becomes entangled in a dangerous racketeering scheme.?
The film?s trailer teases Liza and Pete?s high-earning, hard-partying lifestyle as title cards read that Pain Hustlers ?may cause increased energy, elevated mood, ecstasy, paranoia, aggression [and] greed.?
As Liza deals with ?her increasingly unhinged boss, the worsening medical condition of her daughter, and a growing awareness of the devastation the company is causing,? she begins to re-examine her career choices.
Netflix described the film as a ?sharp and revealing look at what some people do out of desperation and others do out of greed.

Tis the season for pharmaceutical cinema, I guess. I?m genuinely surprised that Netflix is releasing this so soon after Painkiller, their six-part series with Matthew Broderick as Richard Sackler that just came out last month. Don?t get me wrong, I?m positively gleeful with Big Pharma clocking in so much screen time as the super villains they are. They?ve well and truly earned it. I just find the timing questionable from a content perspective. My general impression of this first trailer was, this story has already been told, so what?s different? I think it?s gonna come down to the solid cast bringing people in, led by Blunt and Evans, and rounded out with Andy Garcia and? Catherine O?Hara! You can?t tell who she?s playing from the trailer, but does it really matter? (Answer: no. Thank you for gifting us with your talent, O Great Catherine.)

I think we?ve pretty much established that Joe Jonas is divorcing Sophie Turner because she won?t be a tradwife and give up her acting career to raise their kids. Instead of just saying that, Team Jonas has been leaking all of this bullsh-t about how Sophie has been ?partying? and Joe has been raising the kids. Part of me honestly believes that Joe is not only trying to paint Sophie as an unfit mother because she works, but he?s also trying to stop her from moving back to the UK permanently. For days now, Sophie and her team have been silent as Joe ran the table in the American media. Well, Joe and Sophie issued a joint statement, published on their respective Instagram pages.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have broken their silence on their divorce. On Wednesday, Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, each posted a joint statement to their social-media accounts regarding the end of their four-year marriage.

Welp, Joe Jonas has officially filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. We got a little preview during the Labor Day weekend, when Joe?s people briefed TMZ and People Magazine with the news that he had met with divorce lawyers and hired one of them. TMZ?s story was dripping with casual misogyny about Sophie not having a lot going on career-wise (she had two babies in three years) and something about Joe looking after their kids while he was on tour. TMZ also broke the ?he filed for divorce? story, and they added some new layers:
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are headed to divorce court, because TMZ has learned Joe has filed legal docs to end his marriage. Joe is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters, 3-year-old Willa and their 1-year-old.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Joe and Sophie have a prenup something Joe also addresses in his divorce docs, obtained by TMZ. Theres more in here as it pertains to their kids including the fact that Joe wants a judge to establish a parenting plan between him and Sophie that allows for frequent and continuing contact with both parties.
Another interesting tidbit in his petition Joe confirms what weve known since this weekend namely, that the two children have been residing with him of late. Here in the docs, though, he makes sure to note where Miami, as well as other locations throughout the United States. In other words, hes been taking them with him on the road as hes toured.
The issue of child support is also addressed in Joes docs he says both parents can pay to support their children and that they should both be required to do so. With that said, JJ wants a Florida court to establish whats fair and to take health insurance for the kids into consideration in determining that.
TMZ broke the story the couple has been having problems for around 6 months. Joe has been shopping for divorce lawyers for at least a week. He filed in Florida. Hes repped by Tom Sasser, who handled Tiger Woods divorce.
As for why Joe filed for divorce a source with direct knowledge tells us this She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.
As we reported, Joe has been taking care of the children pretty much all of the time over the last 3 months. When it comes time to hash out a custody arrangement, he could ask for significantly more than 50% physical custody, and our sources say thats likely.

As soon as Sophie went back to work, started hanging out with friends and enjoying herself without him, suddenly Joe wanted a divorce. I mean, that?s just my interpretation maybe Sophie has been out partying (there have been zero photos of that) and maybe she?s not a super-engaged mother. But this framing feels so dirty to me and I feel sorry for Sophie, because no matter what, he?s trying to paint her as a bad mother from the very start of this divorce.
