A belated happy birthday to one of Canada?s best exports, Keanu Reeves! Keanu turned 61 on September 2. As is his style, Keanu celebrated his birthday privately. We didn?t get any pap shots or reports of him going out to dinner with friends. We were, however, treated to a birthday post that Keanus longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, dedicated to him. Alexandra posted a picture of Keanu?s birthday cake along with a really sweet message thanking him for his ?love and partnership.? She also thanked fans for their well-wishes and assured them that he was well-celebrated.
On Sept. 2, actor Keanu Reeves turned 61 years old, and while many fans and friends shared tributes online, the star kept any birthday celebrations under the radar, leaving fans wondering what he did for the occasion.
Thankfully, Reeves? longtime partner, Alexandra Grant, shared a glimpse of how they celebrated the exciting day, along with a special message for the Matrix star. Grant took to Instagram to post the rare update, sharing a photo of a cake that read, ?KEANU,? with an ?X? underneath.
?Thank you to everyone for sending over sweet wishes for Keanu?s birthday yesterday? he was well-celebrated!? began Grant?s message in the caption, with the artist thanking fans for all their love.
Grant concluded her birthday tribute with a sweet note just for Reeves, writing, ?And to Keanu ? who saw this post as a draft! ? I am so grateful for your love and partnership. Now back to painting! xo.?
The 52-year-old also took the opportunity to emphasize to fans how her partner, Reeves, doesn?t have any of his own social media, warning people not to get tricked by anyone pretending to be the actor: ?If you, or anyone you know, is being taken advantage of online by someone pretending to be Keanu, please seek out help from the social media platform or your local law enforcement.?

It sounds like Keanu had a great birthday. His cake looks good, too! If I had to make a guess, I?d go with it being a peanut butter and chocolate cake. Just looking at it is making me hungry. I?m normally a vanilla/vanilla (I know, the jokes write themselves with that one) or mint ice cream cake kinda gal, but if it mimics a Reeses, then I?m all in. I also appreciate that Alexandra went out of her way to assure us that Keanu knew that she was going to make the post. He probably gave his blessing. I hope 61 brings Keanu more happiness, success, and peace.

That?s a reference to a terrible scam that?s been prevalent over the past few years in which scammers pretend to be celebrities to romance their marks. They extort money from people and then promise that they?ll run away together. It?s happened with people using Keanu, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, and more. The way these scammers prey on vulnerable or naive people is just disgusting. There is a special place in hell for those types of people. I?m glad Alexandra made sure to publicly educate fans about this scam.

Last week, there was a big story about how Brad Pitt?s LA home had been burglarized, vandalized and ransacked while he was promoting F1 in NYC and London. There were so many strange details about the story, not least of which is that? Brad reportedly sold that exact home over two years ago. He put that home on the market in January 2023 and it sold a few months later. He moved full-time to the Carmel estate he bought around the same time. What?s also weird is that the home is in a gated community with lots of celebrities around. My Spidey sense is tingling that there?s a hell of a lot more to the burglary story.
As for Vroom-Vroom: The Movie, the production cost in excess of $300 million, and add on tens of millions for promotion and ads. It needed to have a huge opening across the board. Apparently, the domestic opening was around $55-58 million, with $85 million internationally. The trade papers are now claiming that Vroom Vroom performed better than expected, which is bullsh-t. Last week, box office prognosticators were predicting a $100 million domestic opening. My prediction: this will make its money back but not much more. Meanwhile, Brad is still using Angelina Jolie?s name to promote this fakakta movie. Page Six had another exclusive straight from the interior of Pitt?s ass. Some highlights:
His relationship with Ines: He has found love after a traumatic divorce from Angelina Jolie ? and an ensuing custody battle ? and is coming to terms with the fact that his relationship with their six children may be fractured beyond repair, sources told Page Six. Although [Brad and Ines] are said to be super ?serious,? there is no wedding planned. ?He said he won?t marry again ? never say never, although I would be surprised if they wed, ? said a source in the know. ?Generally, he?s in a pretty good place. He?s happy and everything is going super well with Ines. She?s been really great for him. She?s very cool, very relaxed.?
His facelifts: At 61, Pitt is also looking great, thanks in part to what is described as a light ?glow up? by top aesthetic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine, the man behind Kris Jenner?s recent facelift.
The Miraval case: Despite all this joy, Pitt is still embroiled with Jolie over a contentious court case over the French vineyard they once owned together, Chateau Miraval, after she sold her stake to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler. The exes are headed over it to trial next year. They could even come face to face after a judge tossed Jolie?s attempt to dismiss Pitt?s lawsuit over Miraval, the stunning estate where they tied the knot in 2014.
His relationships with his children: Meanwhile, Pitt has only rare interaction with his three biological children with Jolie: Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16. We are told he does not see his adopted kids, Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 20. When asked about Pitt?s thoughts on[Pax?s dirt bike crash], the source said, ?Brad hasn?t seen Pax for years and years.? Still, ?Brad?s share of Miraval will go to his kids eventually ? that?s always been his plan. He wanted them to get 100% of the estate, but Angelina took [her] money that the kids otherwise would have benefited from. Most of the kids are over 18, and he hasn?t seen them very much. He still loves his kids very much, and it?s sad, but how much more pain can one person take??
Jolie accused him of physical abuse: ?Brad never said he didn?t do anything wrong,? said another insider who knows him, ?He was an a?hole on the plane, but nothing was criminal and even the FBI agreed. Angelina truly did not anticipate her standing up to him after the plane incident ? that is the craziest thing. But he?s had the same managers and agents for over 30 years and is someone who has loyalty and consistency for people in his life. They have so much love for him. They weren?t going to let him go down.?

One of my biggest theories about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?s 2016 split is that Pitt was blackout drunk on the plane and he has no memory of how he violently terrorized Angelina and their six kids for hours. Both Angelina and Brad have said or indicated that he was drinking on the plane, but if he was blackout drunk, it would explain some of what Pitt did afterward, as he desperately tried to contain the story (without even remembering what he did) and how he STILL blames Angelina for leaving him (without ever acknowledging that she had every right to protect herself and the kids). Why am I bringing this up? Because Pitt appeared on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, who has spoken about his alcoholism and sobriety journey for many years. Apparently, Dax and Brad met in an AA meeting?
Brad Pitt is opening up about his experience with Alcoholics Anonymous. The 61-year-old Oscar winner opened up about the experience on the Monday, June 23 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard. The two actors also spoke about getting to know one another in an AA meeting.
Pitt called AA an ?amazing thing,? noting, ?I just thought it was just incredible men sharing their experiences, their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their aches, and a lot of humor with it. I thought it was a really special experience.
Shepard, 50, who has been very open about his struggles with substance abuse and sobriety, wondered if Pitt was ?nervous? to speak with him publicly after they met in AA, noting the ?really heightened honesty and vulnerability of the situation.
But Pitt assured him that he was, Quite at ease.?
Pitt also shared that while he was a bit ?shy? coming into the AA group, he also didn?t hesitate to open up because of how low he was at that time.
?I was pretty much on my knees, and I was really open,? he told Shepard. ?I was trying anything and everyone. Anything anyone threw at me. It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting. I needed to wake the f up in some areas. And it just meant a lot to me.?
As well as referring to himself as a ?stubborn f,? Pitt also noted some of his more positive qualities.
?When Ive stepped in s, Im pretty good at taking responsibility for it and owning up to it. And now its a quest to, you know, ?What do I do with this? How can I [right] this?? And make sure it doesnt happen again.? Pitt said that after a few sessions, AA meetings became ?something Id look forward to.?
The F1 star added that he approached therapy with a similar openness, saying, ?When I jumped into therapy then, I was just like, ?And I did this and I did that and da da da da,? ? calling his approach ?desperate.?

I?ve been covering this saga long enough to remember that Pitt apparently refused to go to a traditional rehab facility back in 2016, and he did some kind of makeshift, home-based drying out, at least that?s what we were led to believe. Sobriety is sobriety and I?m not minimizing Brad?s sobriety, if he actually is sober (we have no way of knowing but I doubt it). He?s purposefully trying to make it sound like he?s been working a program this whole time and he just hasn?t. I don?t even believe he regularly goes to AA meetings. And even then, this is probably his biggest fking lie: ?When Ive stepped in s, Im pretty good at taking responsibility for it and owning up to it.? Brad Pitt? Taking responsibility? Where? When?

Every single part of the F1 promotion is giving me second-hand embarrassment. A 61-year-old wife-beater trying to play-act the hip young action star, with his much younger beck-and-call girl on his arm for strategic photo-ops and nothing more. And now Brad Pitt has roped in Tom Cruise! These photos are from last night?s London premiere of F1. Tom Cruise pretty much lives in England full-time, and he ended up coming out for this premiere. I think Tom?s decision was less about Brad and more about the F1 team, which sounds like pretty much the entire team from Top Gun: Maverick. Tom and Brad have had beef for years they didn?t get along at all when they made Interview with a Vampire, but they?ve buried the hatchet, it seems.
Solely judging from the paparazzi photos in New York last week, it really felt like Ines de Ramon did not fly out of New York at the same time as Brad. Which is more evidence to our growing theory that her contract (??) must stipulate ?no air travel with Brad Pitt.? She likely flew solo to London just to attend this premiere with him. I wonder if she used British stylists too her styling is so different in these pics than when she?s appeared with him in America. Her gown in these photos is Fendi, and she carried a Fendi bag (the Nano Baguette). She?s way too young for him.
As for Brad and his green double-breasted suit and scarf? he?s been trying to make the vintage Robert Evans look happen and it just doesn?t work. Arguably, Brad had ?it? at some point, many years ago. But he?s lost ?it.? I hope this movie bombs so hard. *fingers crossed*

Here are some photos of Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon leaving their New York hotel on Tuesday. Brad was flying out of NYC, probably to start the European promotion for Vroom-Vroom. I don?t know if Ines will join him it didn?t look like she left the hotel at the same time, and it?s more than possible that she?s returning to LA. I remember a few years ago, Ines went to Paris ?with? Brad, but she made a point of flying separately. Someone pointed out that she probably doesn?t want to ever get on the same plane with Brad, given what he did to Angelina Jolie and their children on a private plane in 2016.
Fashion notes for Tuesday?s hotel check-out: Brad wore a Gucci jumpsuit which does not flatter his shape, and in fact makes him look like a toddler in a onesie. The gold chains/necklaces make him look? you know what, I won?t say it. Ines wore a denim Marine Serre top and jeans. Do they have his-and-hers Gucci bags? Brad?s carry-on is for-sure Gucci, but is Ines?s bag Gucci? Is this relationship sponsored by Gucci? Ines is certainly carrying the bag like she?s being paid to promote it. Last night, F1 premiered in New York. Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon arrived in New York days earlier, and they were getting photographed constantly over the weekend, with Brad wearing an array of terrible ensembles. He ?cleaned up? for the premiere, wearing a navy double-breasted suit and no tie. Ines de Ramon was the one with the wacky style at the premiere a feathered maxi skirt and a boho-esque midriff-baring top, all with a black belt. Ines has a great figure, but her style is so? odd. And for a jewelry designer, I rarely even notice her jewelry.
This wasn?t their couple-debut at one of Brad?s premieres Ines attended the Wolfs premiere in Venice last year with Brad. I think this is the first time they?ve done a premiere together on American soil. It speaks to how hard Brad is shilling for F1 he?s even done multiple photo-ops with Tim Cook, Apple?s CEO. Apple financed this catastrophe to the tune of $300 million (likely much more, if you consider the promo budget). Brad also did something like a normal-ish junket this weekend, which was probably his first junket in more than a decade.
In case you were wondering about Brad?s in-the-club-in-1998/palazzo-pants style these days, GQ pointed out something interesting Brad has apparently hired stylist Taylor McNeill. It seems to be a recent hire, and it?s more than possible that McNeill was hired just to dress Brad throughout F1?s promotion. McNeill is best known as Timothee Chalamet?s longtime stylist, and McNeill has also notably styled Kendrick Lamar this year (for the Super Bowl no less). It makes perfect sense that Brad would want to work with a stylist who is famous for working with much younger men. Brad is 61 going on 26, and that?s not a compliment.

Brad Pitt was in NYC this weekend, doing some advanced promotion for Vroom Vroom: The Movie. He filmed a skit with Jimmy Fallon, because God knows, Brad can?t be counted on to sit through a talk show interview at this point. Well, because Brad is in promotional mode, that means Ines de Ramon was suddenly called upon for some pap strolls and photo-ops. They were seen strutting in and out of their hotel, and on Friday night, they went Cote Korean Steakhouse. It was a double-date with Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid. Gee, I wonder what those two couples talked about at dinner?
Ines also looked like she was fresh off a beach vacation I?ve never seen her look so tan. She has nice legs, and she really looked like she was enjoying the whole pap-stroll. That?s pretty consistent with her. As for Brad? I keep getting stuck on his outfit. I think the pants are low-quality velvet? The man-blouse is straight out of the 1990s this is exactly what men wore out to the club in New Jersey. Between the rip in his pants and the square-toe lifts/heels, all of this screams ?midlife crisis.? Except he?s 61 years old, so it?s more like a last-quarter life crisis.
Last week, Brad also made some news for some comments he made at the Vroom Vroom premiere in Mexico City. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: ?No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from it and move on. Itll lead to the next success. Really, I think you get to my age and see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back. Friends, family, and that?s it.? Yeah, just learn from abusing and terrorizing your wife and children and move on! The most pathetic part is? he never moved on. He?s still suing his ex-wife, he?s still trying to control her finances, he?s still leaking sh-t about her.

Brad Pitt was filming his (stupid) Formula 1 movie for more than 18 months, no joke. You could say that the 2023 writers strike and actors strike affected the production, but you would be wrong the production kept working in Europe during the strikes, and no one said sh-t about it. I think the F1 movie finally wrapped last December, and it?s scheduled to come out in June. It was produced by Apple and it will eventually come out on AppleTV, but it?s supposed to get a wide theatrical release. Where have we heard that before? Oh right, Wolfs was also produced by Apple and also supposed to get a wide theatrical release last summer, but then Apple realized they had a big, stinking turd on their hands and they shuffled it off to streaming quickly after a one-week limited theatrical release. I kind of wonder if the same thing will happen with this F1 movie, or if Apple is in too deep on this one. Reportedly, the F1 movie cost over $300 million to make. Wonder if Variety will make a big stink about it, or if they only reserve that kind of hysterical reporting for Black directors.
I bring all of this up because I?m tired of Hollywood investing this kind of money or any kind of money in mediocre white men, if not terrible white men. Since 2016, Pitt has only made two films (I think?) which have made money or broke even. His track record sucks and his violent personal history weighs down productions and promotional tours. But Pitt has just been cast in yet another movie:
Brad Pitt and Conclave director Edward Berger will team on A24 feature The Riders. The Riders is based on Tim Winton?s novel of the same name, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1995 and follows a man who travels around Europe with his daughter looking for their wife and mother who has gone missing. David Kajganich is adapting for the screen.
Ridley Scott is producing via his Scott Free banner with Michael Pruss. Kajganich will also produce alongside Berger?s nine hours banner and Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner for Plan B Entertainment. Production will start in early 2026, shooting in multiple locations across Europe.
Berger, Kajganich and Scott Free previously worked with on AMC series The Terror. Pitt was last seen starring opposite George Clooney in the action comedy Wolfs and will next be seen in Formula One movie F1, both out via Apple.

I haven?t read the book, but I read some summaries of the book a man?s wife goes missing and he and their daughter go hunting around Europe to figure out what happened, when it becomes increasingly clear that the wife simply didn?t want to be married to this guy anymore. You also never hear the wife?s side of things, and the guy might be an unreliable narrator. Like? enough. Pitt shouldn?t have been cast.

Last December, there was a wealth of reporting mostly tabloid reporting about Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ines de Ramon, divorce, money and the six kids who want nothing to do with Pitt. Some of Jolie?s fans thought that Pitt was organizing certain stories as a way to derail Angelina?s Oscar campaign. I thought there was something to that theory, although I also think that Hollywood was probably always going to ignore Jolie?s performance in Maria anyway, especially after Netflix stopped putting money into her campaign. Anyway, just days after Christmas, Angelina and Brad managed to finalize their divorce after eight-plus years. Pitt has been pretty quiet since then (other than this notable story). Now that the awards season is over, it?s time for Pitt to get back on track with his regular programming: reminding everyone that he has a girlfriend and that he and Ines are ?happy.?

This reads like filler, but I guess this is probably the start of Brad?s ?promotion? for this long-gestating F1 film. He was filming that back in 2023, during the writers? strike and the actors? strike, and they were still filming it as late as December 2024 (which is insane, to have what amounts to an 18-month-long production). I don?t know obviously, this film is not for me, but it feels like they just spent a lot of time, money and effort on a film which is probably going to be a huge bomb? Maybe there will be a market for it. As for Brad?s happiness with Ines?I guess they?re about to ramp up their photo-ops?

Their divorce was bifurcated in 2019, but they spent the bulk of the past eight years in a dispute over money and custody of their children. It?s been a long road, especially when Angelina went to the California Supreme Court and successfully voided a joint-custody ruling from a compromised private judge. In recent years, the divorce negotiations seemingly stood at a stand-still because Brad has been suing Angelina over the sale of her half of Chateau Miraval, and Angelina?s countersued. Recently, in the winery dispute, Angelina successfully got the court to order Brad to turn over all of his communications with his publicist and crisis management team. Weeks later, the Jolie-Pitt divorce has been settled. Coincidence?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reached a settlement in their divorce eight years after the Maria star filed to end their two-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 61, signed off on their divorce on Monday, Dec. 30, according to Jolies lawyers.

Again, I love how Angelina?s lawyers are so much more proactive these days with giving statements to the press. She?s needed that for years. TMZ had some additional information Angelina signed off on the divorce on Christmas Day, and the paperwork was filed yesterday. According to TMZ?s sources, Angelina is ?forgoing spousal and family support from Brad.? Which could mean that he?s giving her a lump-sum settlement (I think that seems likely). There?s also not an agreement over custody, but Knox and Vivienne are 16 years old now and most family courts would say they?re old enough to decide which parent they want to live with and see. TMZ also says that Brad and Angelina recently ?exchanged final financial disclosures.? Interesting.
