| Kate Hudson: I?m the biggest flirt. I flirt with everybody ' girls, boys | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kate Hudson is currently starring in a Netflix series called Running Point. Kate plays Isla Gordon, a reformed party girl in her 30s who has to prove herself when she gets put in charge of her family?s professional basketball team, the Los Angeles Waves. It?s a Mindy Kaling series (she?s one of three co-creators) that was inspired by the LA Lakers president and controlling owner, Janie Buss. Brenda Song, Chet Hanks, Justin Theroux, Max Greenfield, and Jay Ellis are also in it.
Kate recently sat down with Bustle to talk about Running Point, family, her life philosophy and more. Now 45, Kate is such a free spirit that she?ll flirt with anyone. Thankfully, her fianc, Danny Fujikawa, is A-OK with it! It?s a lengthy interview and you can check out the full piece here. Here are some of the highlights:
Running Point is full of hotties: [W]orking on Running Point was like feasting at a heartthrob buffet. There was Max Greenfield at peak Nice Jewish Boy, Jay Ellis still sporting his Top Gun: Maverick abs, and Justin Theroux doing his best Hunter Biden (complimentary) as a dirtbag scion. ?I was like, ?What a dream! We have so many beautiful men to work with every day!?? Hudson tells me so enthusiastically it sounds like she might drop a hubba hubba. A relative newcomer, actor Toby Sandeman, made her full-on weak in the knees. ?I remember there?s a scene where he comes in in this white suit, and he actually took my breath away. I literally was like, ?Hi.??
She?ll flirt with anybody: ?I?m the biggest flirt on the planet. So I think anybody who?s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody ? girls, boys,? she says matter of factly. Her fianc, musician Danny Fujikawa, with whom she has daughter Rani, has learned to roll with it since they first met decades ago as friends. (Hudson also has a son with The Black Crowes? Chris Robinson and another son with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.) ?Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this. I met the right guy.
Covid made her realize her need to be creative: ?In COVID, I realized that my creativity had been shut off for a long time. In those moments of fear, I was like, ?I?m not putting out what I want to be totally putting out right now.? Music was the big flashing red light for me,? she says of her debut pop-rock album, Glorious, which dropped last spring. (Entering the music industry in your 40s? That also takes guts.) ?I?m very clear about the things that I really want to be doing now in my life. Whether it?s good, whether it?s bad, I know how my machine wants to function.?
On parenting: ?As a parent, you want your kids to love themselves. You want them to know what the core of who they are is and to honor it, to love it, and to love themselves.? Sometimes parenting, however, means tough love. For example, she?s made sure her son Ryder is well aware of what will be required of him if he moves home after college. ?Hes like, ?I got to figure out what my life is going to look like and how I?m going to achieve the things that I want to achieve and how I can live. I think you should be teaching your kids those things way earlier on so that when they get to that point, they?re not like, ?Oh my God, how do I afford my life and not lean on my family???
On sex in your 40s: ?The best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom. Sex isn?t supposed to be pretty. When you get older you kind of have more fun with that.?
She faces discomfort head-on: ?God, you?d be a sociopath if you just had the confidence to walk into anything or be fearless in everything,? she says. It?s just that, in those moments, she doesn?t try to shy away from discomfort. Hudson?s super power lies in her ability to take everything life throws her way in stride. ?Everybody?s different in what your challenges are,? she says, shaking her head playfully. ?We say challenges, not weaknesses ? even though they feel like weakness sometimes.?
Aries just wanna have fun: ?Let?s be honest, I?m a star sign person. I?m an Aries, and we?re the people that if you want to go have a good time, you?re like, ?Hey, are you down?? We?re like, ?Yes,?? Hudson says, grinning. Especially if, say, a locker room?s worth of men and their bulging biceps are what?s on the menu. ?I mean, on this set I was like, ?How lucky am I? This is not difficult.??
[From Bustle]
The whole interview is a vibe. Kate definitely gives off that force-of-nature energy. She?s so outgoing and seems like she?d be a fun person to hang out with. I have no trouble believing that she?s the kind of person who laughs in the face of discomfort and takes things in stride. I love what she has to say about realizing during Covid that her creativity had been shut off. I think that a lot of people used that time to explore personal or creative projects.
I also have no trouble believing that Kate?s a naturally flirty person who flirts with everyone she meets. It?s probably part of her rizz. I like that she put it out there about having more ?fun? with sex as you get older, I think that applies to so many things! I wish that someone had told me in my mid-20s not to worry so much about certain things because they don?t ?have? to be a certain way. It really is quite freeing.

| Prince William & Kate only agreed to take one of QEII's 376 patronages | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This is week-old gossip but I just saw this piece in the Daily Mail?s Ephraim Hardcastle column. The column is written by unknown Mail staffers and editors, and the column is often used to spread some royal gossip in particular directions. Well, last week, the column pointed out that the last of Queen Elizabeth?s patronages have finally been reallocated, two-and-a-half years after QEII?s passing. QEII had 376 patronages when she died in 2022, and there was a long process of shifting patronages around given King Charles?s accession, like certain ?Prince of Wales? patronages which had to be shifted over to Prince William, who begrudgingly accepted them. Still, 376 patronages were suddenly left without a patron and it took time to sort it out. Guess how many of QEII?s old patronages were taken over by William and Kate?
The last batch of the late Queens patronages ? all 376 of them ? have now been re-allocated.
The majority of them to Charles and Camilla. William and Kate were persuaded to take on one, the Royal Marsden NHS Trust.
Apparently the King tried to get them to take on the English National Ballet which had been without a royal patron since it lost the too notorious Prince Andrew.
In the end Camilla took the ENB under her wing. Maybe William would be more interested if the Taylor Swift fan club asked for a patron, says my cynical source.
[From The Daily Mail]
THEY ONLY TOOK ONE. Oh my god!!! You know what though? It?s what Charles deserves. He absolutely got the heir he deserves, an heir who can?t be bothered to show up for the patronages he already has, who has to be dragged kicking and screaming into fancy military handovers to spite Prince Harry, who is too lazy to take over anything but ONE of QEII?s old patronages. It?s not like QEII was visiting all of her patronages constantly either many of those patronages were happy to see her once a year, or once every few years. It?s insane that William and Kate can?t commit to that.

| UK outlets are doing breakdowns of Duchess Meghan's 'stealth-wealth' WLM wardrobe | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?ve now seen two comprehensive breakdowns of the Duchess of Sussex?s wardrobe in With Love, Meghan. Both breakdowns were in British outlets, the Daily Mail and the Sun. Yes, both outlets are pocket-watching Meghan and trying to make ?the cost of Meghan?s clothes? into a scandal, but is anyone buying it at this point? Meghan buys her own clothes, or she?s wearing a ?wardrobe? furnished by the show? meaning Archewell/Netflix bought it? Personally, I think she?s just wearing her own clothes though and of course Meghan has a spectacular jewelry collection. Which is just? hers. In the Mindy Kaling episode of WLM, Meghan even says she likes ?high-low? style mass-market, inexpensive pieces mixed with stealth-wealth high-end pieces. To the Sun, WLM is ?elevated with jaw-droppingly expensive and elevated pieces that scream old money.? From The Sun:
Not only is Meghan dripping in jewellery worth thousands of pounds, but she?s also seen in pricey cashmere separates and silk skirts too. The aesthetic to her 130,000 Netflix wardrobe is ?stealth wealth? the trend that belongs to people so at ease with their status that they dispense with any obvious designer insignia.
Throughout the numerous outfit changes ? there are five in one episode alone ? amongst her pricey dresses and designer mules, Meghan does let a bit of ?ordinary? slip in, through her 49.99 Zara trousers in episode two, and a 101 brown dress, also from Zara, in episode four.
In episode one, Meghan was first seen wearing a Sezane shirt, worth 85. The brunette beauty paired the somewhat affordable shirt with a luxe pair of Hermes Oz mules, which will set shoppers back 1,020. For her next look, she rocked a Zimmermann shirt worth 1,000, which she styled with 400 shorts. But it was her jewellery that really stole the show as she wore a 3,218 Logan Hollowell necklace, a 21,400 Cartier watch which she inherited from Princess Diana, a 4,300 Ariel Gordon bracelet and a 4,550 Cartier Love bracelet. She also donned a 265 pair of Mother Denim jeans, 169 Le Chameau boots and trousers from Anine Bing worth 195.
In episode two, whilst she made a breakfast platter, Meghan wore a gorgeous Doen Emmalyn sweater worth 300, which she paired with a 198 Reformation silk midi skirt. Moments later, she was seen in a dress worth 854, from her sister-in-law Kate Middleton?s favourite brand Emilia Wickstead. Princess Kate, 43, is regularly seen wearing garments from Emilia Wickstead, and has worn jaw-dropping items from the brand during royal tours and at Wimbledon.
Meghan styled the stunning dress with Luna Skye 14ct gold large baguette diamond leaf studs worth 2,098. Attempting to keep things somewhat more low-key, Meghan then wore a pair of 49.99 Zara trousers. But she styled the chic high-street trousers, which left Mindy Kaling stunned, with a 990 Loro Piana top and a 310 Jenni Kayne jumper. Additionally, she also wore a We The Wild green apron which retails at 25, a 77 Denim Forum shirt and a 54 blue J Crew shirt.
In Episode 3, she opted for a black pair of 180 Anine Bing jeans, which she styled with a plain grey 105 James Perse T-shirt. In the scenes following, Meghan tied her hair back in a bun and wore a striped 250 Doen Hava shirt, but it was her pricey Cartier necklace that is worth the cash, with a whopping price tag of 15,500.
[From The Sun]
If you go to the link, you can see that the Sun really did that kind of breakdown for every single episode, listing every single item worn by Meghan. The obsession to detailed fashion-identification makes my head spin, but I actually appreciate it? The Emilia Wickstead dress is actually why I believe that Meghan didn?t get a ?new wardrobe? for the show she?s had that same Wickstead dress for years, and she?s been photographed in it before. It might even be one of her favorite dresses. I also enjoyed a lot of her blouses in the series, and I couldn?t tell which ones were inexpensive and which were high-end that?s the Meghan Effect too, that she makes a Zara sweater look like it?s from Loro Piana. And people (the British media) really need to stop calling emergency meetings over Meghan wearing her Cartier watch and her engagement ring. That?s her ?thing? the wedding ring, diamond engagement ring, Cartier watch and stacked gold bracelets, all on her left arm and hand.
I think I found Meghan's outfit!pants: https://t.co/ei8gpw0g1Osweater 1 omg mortgage payment: https://t.co/TGCbiIv94Vsweater 2: https://t.co/qCqsiDYbRq pic.twitter.com/ToPdKsM9lJ

| Jennifer Garner 'enjoys spending time' with Ben, but she knows he has a dark side | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The thing I unfortunately have to admit about Ben Affleck is that I totally believe that he can turn on the charm and really bamboozle his way into any woman?s heart. I believe Ben absolutely went all out to woo Jennifer Lopez back in 2021, and it worked. The thing is, Ben can only keep up the charm offensive for so long. He gets bored, or he changes his mind or he gets lazy within the relationship or something else. So Ben and J.Lo are done? for now. And it?s really looking like Ben is trying to charm his way back into the heart of the Other Jennifer, Jen Garner, his first ex-wife. Garner and Affleck have been divorced for a decade, and to their credit, they coparent peacefully and they still seem like very close friends. Suddenly, this week, all of these stories are popping up about how Ben wants to win Garner back and maybe he wants a second chance with her. Garner is like: lol, NO. Well, this curious little story popped up on People Mag:
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner continue to get along swimmingly, and the two have been spotted being playfully affectionate during recent outings.
They have been on good terms for a while now and seem to enjoy chatting and hanging out, a source tells PEOPLE of the former couple, who were most recently spotted sharing a laugh at son Samuels 13th birthday party Sunday, March 2. Most of the time, the kids are around too.
The source adds that Affleck, 52, usually acts happy around Garner, 52, who is currently dating John Miller, but he has been extra giddy lately, though, and much more affectionate.
The source says, She doesnt seem to mind. She seems to enjoy spending time with Ben, with whom she shares three kids.
A separate insider says Affleck is charming, adding, When hes doing well, he has great energy. Right now, Jen has only good things to say about him. She enjoys spending time with him, that insider continues. Hes a great dad too. But he also has this dark, struggling side that resurfaces. Over the years, it affected their marriage negatively and caused their divorce.
According to the insider, the actress has come a long way since finalizing her divorce from Affleck in 2018, after they split in 2015 following 10 years of marriage.
Shes doing great, says the insider. She loves her new home that she built for her and the kids. John is a fantastic boyfriend. Their relationship is very normal.
Still, an Affleck source says any rumors of a rekindled romance are ridiculous.
[From People]
?But he also has this dark, struggling side that resurfaces. Over the years, it affected their marriage negatively and caused their divorce.? Yeah, I believe this. ?Sources close to Garner? said as much last year when J.Lo filed for divorce too, with Garner making it clear that she was definitely sympathetic towards J.Lo because of what Ben had put her through with his dark moods. I also believe that Garner approved of Ben and J.Lo?s relationship and marriage and Garner was happy to see him so settled and focused. But if anything, I bet the events of the past year have just been a reminder for Garner that she?s lucky to no longer be part of Ben?s entanglements and darkness. Like? who needs a 50-something with that much baggage AND he?s a moody prick on top of it?

| Duchess Meghan will appear on today's episode of Drew Barrymore's show | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Once people realized that the Duchess of Sussex was in New York this week, many assumed that she would end up doing some TV interviews. I was thinking more like? the Today Show or Good Morning America, but she ended up going with a talk show. The two big options were: Drew Barrymore or Jennifer Hudson. Obviously, Drew won out. They match each other?s freak, spiritually speaking. I bet Drew heard ?I?m a hugger? and sat eyeball-to-eyeball with Meghan. The interview (and cooking segment) was taped on Wednesday and it will air today, Thursday. During one of the segments, Drew referred to her as ?Meghan Sussex.? Which is? correct, in a way? Most Americans don?t really care about titles anyway, so Meghan Sussex it is. Some early highlights from Meghan?s first talk show appearance since she was on The Ellen Show a few years ago:
She didn?t know where her life would take her: I mean, look, life is full of surprises. I did not expect to meet H and for this to be our love story and, you know, Im very lucky, Meghan told Barrymore, describing Harry as funniest, sweetest, most charming as well as an amazing father in a promo clip of the show.
Always date your spouse: Meghan also shared that when she was babysitting during her college days, one of the fathers told her, Meghan, when you meet your person one day, I want him to say to you the same thing that I said to my wife when we got married which is: I vow to always date my wife. And I told H that when we started dating, and he goes, I vow to always date you, So we have this connection, I think, because were so committed to treating each other the same way you did before had a ring on it. Before it was locked down. When youre just courting each other and you can see all the good and joy during that butterfly period.
The kids only have slight British accents on some words: Barrymore asks, Whats your favorite thing that you see in your kids that you go, ?Oh, thats their dad ? Meghan replies, Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent. So theyll say, Zebra, and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out. They have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think its adorable. Zebra is a good one.
[From People Magazine]
The British pronunciation of ?zebra? unfortunately slaps. It?s way better than the American ZEE-bruh. Brits say it ?zEH-bra.? It?s one of the few things they have over us, although I will admit to enjoying ?chuffed? and ?are you mad?? said in a slightly hysterical tone. Also a fan of ?sort yourself out? said in a really derogatory tone. As for Drew and Meghan? as I said, I?m sure they matched each other?s freaks. I can?t wait to see it! PS? fashion notes: Meghan wore a J. Crew top and Brandon Maxwell trousers for the interview.

| THR: Duchess Meghan's WLM is missing the 'ingredient of relatability' | Added 47 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
As we discussed, it feels like With Love, Meghan is being purposefully review-bombed. It actually reminds me of the recent glee from music critics when they got their hands on Drake?s latest album they already had their knives sharpened for Drizzy and they really tore that album to shreds (to be fair, the album was garbage). In the case of WLM, it?s different in the sense that there will always be a large and very vocal contingent of people who despise Meghan and hold her to an impossible standard, that she must be all things all at once. And when she does portray herself as a glossy homemaker who stays in her lifestyle lane, they hate that too. I wanted to highlight this part of the Hollywood Reporter?s review/analysis of WLM, which was originally called ?Why ?With Love, Meghan? Doesn?t Land With Viewers.? They changed it to ??With Love, Meghan? Lacks a Key Ingredient.? Probably because WLM is landing with viewers it?s already a top-ten Netflix show in dozens of countries, including the US.
Immediately upon the show?s March 4 debut, criticisms roared in from both American and British press, categorizing the series as ?an ego trip not worth taking? and an ?exercise in narcissism,? adding that long-standing assessments of the former actress and Suits star turned American princess likely underscored Meghan?s reticence to share more of herself with her audience. To an already leery viewer, Meghan lacking the openness and vulnerability that would allow a naysayer to connect with and change their opinion of her doesn?t help. And while it?s unfair to ask Meghan to apologize for her wealth or the world she and her friends who join the show live in, the attempts at being aspirational, like remarking how sweet it is to build a balloon arch by hand for her kids? parties rather than hire someone else to do it, fall flat when there?s no honest conversation about the difficulties of motherhood with fellow mom guests ? an element that would better ground the series for viewers than the overuse of edible flower sprinkles.
Media and public scrutiny of Meghan has been both lengthy and unwarranted since she first became romantically tied to Prince Harry in 2016. Unfortunately, unlike her 2022 Archetypes podcast, which gave listeners a greater understanding of both who she and her guests were outside of the personas placed on them, With Love, Meghan, no doubt in its attempt to protect its host from greater critique, presents her as nothing more than a stereotype of a perfect wife and mother. Without the ingredient of relatability, which audiences crave more than anything, the series doesn?t serve up much more than fancy recipes that, according to the latest data on the price of eggs, most viewers can?t afford to make anyway.
[From THR]
I do think there?s a nugget of truth here, which is that Meghan is reticent to reveal too much or show anything other than a glossy, stylized version of her life. This was a complaint with Archetypes as well that Meghan at times has difficulty letting her guard down and being a flawed human on Main. Here?s my thing I?m watching a cooking/lifestyle show to see the lifestyle and the cooking, I don?t need Meghan to sit with an economist and talk about working motherhood and the plight of Millennial women. I just want recipes and fun ideas.
Speaking of recipes, Netflix has all of Meghan?s recipes on their site go here to see. In the Abigail Spencer episode, she even says ?when?s the cookbook coming? or something like that, and Meghan was like, oh, I?m not even thinking about that right now. But this was filmed a year ago surely, she?s thinking about it now? Especially with Netflix publishing the recipes? hm.
