Preparing to wow audiences with their rom-com appeal, Diane Kruger and Anton Yelchin have just signed on to star in "5 to 7."
Producers Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird Pictures announced the decision today for the film written and directed by Victor Levin (who also serves as a co-executive producer on "Mad Men").
Production is set to start in late February 2013 for the New York based story where an aspiring novelist has an affair with the wife of a French diplomat. Cultures, world views, personal ethics and dietary preferences clash as love deepens, with remarkable results in this romantic comedy.
According to producers Curtis and Lynn, "Vic Levin's script has us in tears -- we're just not sure if it's from laughing or crying. We're excited about the grace and intelligence that he, Diane and Anton will bring to their interpretations of his beautiful story."

Psy was just visiting the set ofWolverine and teaching Hugh Jackman, who just turned 44 last week, how to dance. Gangnam Style. Psy even got his own claws. I wish I had my own claws. You know how much more annoying it could be when I poke someone?
Anyway, it’s a little less awesome when you watch the video. There’s no music so it’s just them fake riding a horse with Wolverine claws. If I was there, I would have at least loudly hummed the music.

Before any publications could report it, Megan Fox went on her Facebook and gave a preemptive press release telling everyone she gave birth to a boy named Noah Shannon Green on September 27.
We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect.
We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.
Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly.

The bill is finally being settled though. Lindsay agreed to the Barbara Walters interview in a lead-up to the movie’s premiere in exchange for producers taking care of the bill.
With ?Liz & Dick,? the story of Elizabeth Taylor?s tumultuous two marriages to Richard Burton, set to air on Lifetime on Nov. 25, the producers need Lohan to promote the made-for-TV movie. ?She had them over a barrel,? one source told Flash. ?She demanded that the hotel bill be cleared up.? And it was. Lohan reappeared at Chateau last week in a low-cut, sequined mini-dress with a group of girlfriends for late-night tea and salads.
So Lindsay agreed to do her job only if that $46,000 bill was taken care of. Only in Hollywood can you half-ass something and still force your employers to pay you more for it. It actually sounds like the perfect place for me. I have a black belt in half-assing things.

Domingo Zapata might be famous (in some circles) and rich and all of that, but he still hangs out with the Cracken. As for Sam Rockwell? I NEED THAT. I love Sam. Everyone loves Sam. I assume that Sam and ScarJo have been friends for a while (they?ve worked together before), and last I heard, Sam did have a girlfriend. So it was probably just a friends-thing and we shouldn?t get worked up about it. Although I would kind of love ScarJo and Sam. They would be HOT.
Also: did you see the MoveOn commercial Scarlett did with Eva Longoria? It?s all about Planned Parenthood. I watched last night?s presidential debate, and I still don?t know whether or not Mitt Romney still wants to de-fund Planned Parenthood (like he claimed months ago, and again last week). The last I heard, the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings should probably be coming out in early to mid-November. Which means that we probably have a month more to wait to see Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds? wedding photos, which were given (sold?) exclusively to that magazine and no other. Blake?s wedding was planned by Martha Stewart?s wedding planners/organizers, and the whole thing is some kind of brilliant cross-promotional move, I guess. What I think is particularly funny, though, is that until the magazine comes out, Blake?s wedding planners and her wedding gown designers (the talentless women of Marchesa) keep talking about Blake?s wedding to People Mag and Us Weekly. Everything keeps getting built up, higher and higher, so that everyone will be inevitably disappointed when the magazine comes out and the whole thing is revealed as some kind of budget, faux-country affair. Because that?s what it sounds like:
The setting, the dress, the decorations ? Blake Lively knew exactly what she wanted, in intimate detail, for her wedding last month to Ryan Reynolds.
“She had pages and pages of pictures. She knew everything that she wanted from the very beginning to the very end,” wedding planner Tara Gurard told PEOPLE Monday at the Martha Stewart Weddings Bridal Fashion Week party in New York.
“The problem was she had 250 photos, and she wanted all those elements in her wedding,” Gurard added.
The results, though, were stunning. “[From] simple, elegant flowers to comfortable seating, she wanted the wedding to be very family and friend-oriented, very private,” Gurard said. “It was in a barn, and it was really fun to take this rustic barn element and dress it up inside. It was really lovely, lots of candles, just like she has at home. … She wanted it to feel just like she was at home.”
It was a “charming, charming wedding,” added Martha Stewart, who was among the attendees at the Mt. Pleasant, S.C., nuptials. “Real people, real love. Just really nice [and] personal, which I think is what a wedding must and should be.”
Stewart said her favorite part of the wedding involved the couple’s dogs, but was coy about what role they played. Gurard likewise was reluctant to give details, but revealed: “I did do some flowers for the dogs.”
Darcy Miller, editorial director at Martha Stewart Weddings, which is preparing a photo package from the wedding for its December issue, said the scene in the barn was unbelievably romantic.
“You just looked around the room, and all the candles were glowing, and they just looked so happy,” she said. “You know, I was with them yesterday, and I said to them, ‘I have a never seen a bride and a groom sit at a table so long and just look at each other and talk to each other.’ … Everyone there was just so happy for them.”
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the Marchesa co-founders who designed Lively’s wedding dress, said it was a joy to work with the bride.
“Blake is incredibly stylish, and she really knew what she wanted,” Craig said. “It was very much how we do a lot of brides. We started with a lot of sketches, and we sit down and talk through the sketches until we came to the final dress ? She just wanted to be romantic and beautiful.”

Blake had a binder full of images she had been collecting over the years because she had dreamed of her perfect wedding for so long because that?s all women ever dream of, the perfect wedding? No disrespect to those of you who are like that ? I?m just not that kind of woman, so I guess I find it slightly bizarre. Different strokes, etc.
PS? You know what hasn?t occurred to me before now? Will Blake change her name, professionally and privately? Is she Blake Reynolds now? That seems like the kind of thing she would do.

But I?m biased, obviously, because I love her and I want her to have all of the pretty, sparkling things in the world. Dita just turned 40 years old, although you might not know it because she?s a poster girl for taking care of your skin. To mark the occasion, Dita gave an interesting interview to Closer Mag, a UK tabloid. Which means that when she?s talking about her weight, they convert pounds into ?stones?. Ugh! I hate converting ?stones?.
Dita Von Teese has just celebrated her 40th birthday. And she has done so not with a silent mope over a mug of gin about getting old, but a whoop and a cheer…and the confession that she is in better shape now than she ever was in her 20s.
The American ‘Queen of Burlesque’, who was married to American rock singer Marilyn Manson from 2005 to 2007, said: ‘I have better knowledge of my body and how to treat it. Between 18 and 20 I was a few pounds heavier, as I used to drink fizzy drinks and eat fast food.’
In an interview with Closer magazine, Von Teese – who is 5ft 3in and weighs 8st 3lbs – also admitted going through a ‘party girl’ phase in the 90s.
During that time – when she was taking Ecstasy and LSD – her weight dropped to just 6.5st.
‘I got skinny,’ said the Michigan-born dancer whose real name is Heather Sweet. ‘I was worried about the way I looked but also about the impact it was having on my health. I remember seeing a picture of myself and my ribs were sticking out. That was my motivation for not doing drugs anymore.’
Von Teese, who began performing burlesque in 1992 and whose most famous routine involves her frolicking inside an enormous Martini glass, also revealed she didn’t expect to find herself where she is now, aged 40, when she was young.
‘I thought I’d be married and retired by 28. I didn’t think I’d be at the top of my career in striptease. I don’t worry about having kids and it affecting my body. I’d have to rethink things if that happened, but it wouldn’t make me any less of a woman if it didn’t.’
She confesses that she hasn’t yet drawn a line through having plastic surgery and will one day ‘probably look at lasers’.
The star explains that she maintains her tiny 22-inch waist (which can be squeezed down to 16.5in) by eating healthily, rarely drinking, avoiding bread, and drinking a vegetable smoothie made from ingredients including parsley, coriander and spinach every morning. She also exercises daily and has worn a corset since she was just 18.
Saying she feels best about herself around eight stone, the raven-haired beauty says her strict exercise regime includes Pilates, ballet, exercise videos, horse-riding and dressage, and she plans to take up fencing soon, too.
But just like the rest of us, Von Teese has several ‘cheat’ foods she can’t always resist. Crisps, crunchy sweets and Indian food feature high on her naughty-but-nice list.

According to The Daily, LL basically told Lifetime that she would not do any promotion for Liz & Dick if they didn?t pay her Marmont bill. So the bill was paid and LL agreed to the Walters interview. I wonder if Barbara minds being a pawn in a cracked-out blackmail/hustle?
Lindsay Lohan agreed to be interrogated by Barbara Walters to promote ?Liz & Dick? because the film?s producers agreed to pay her overdue $46,000 bill at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Flash has learned.
Lohan was thrown out of her favorite hotel in August after living there for 47 days, and racking up such charges as $3,100 for the mini-bar, and $686 for cigarettes. The troubled actress claimed the producers of ?Liz & Dick? were supposed to pay the bill.
With ?Liz & Dick,? the story of Elizabeth Taylor?s tumultuous two marriages to Richard Burton, set to air on Lifetime on Nov. 25, the producers need Lohan to promote the made-for-TV movie.
?She had them over a barrel,? one source told Flash. ?She demanded that the hotel bill be cleared up.? And it was. Lohan reappeared at Chateau last week in a low-cut, sequined mini-dress with a group of girlfriends for late-night tea and salads.
Her interview with Walters, yet to be taped, is scheduled to air Nov. 16 on ?20/20,? and will delve into the dynamics of her dysfunctional family, including last Wednesday?s 4 a.m. phone call to her father, Michael Lohan, where she accused her mother, Dina, of using cocaine. Michael taped the conversation and either sold it, or leaked it for free, to TMZ. Lindsay later recanted the accusation.
Lindsay also made news recently by endorsing Mitt Romney for president. It turns out, she?s not even registered to vote.

God, I wish Lifetime would have called her bluff ? because that?s exactly what it was. Do you really think Lindsay would miss an opportunity to ?promote? her big comeback role? Do you think wild horses could drag her away from the bank of cameras? Of course not. So let Lindsay throw her crackie hissy fits and let her sad little crack-hustling attempts wither on the vine.

Angelina Jolie has written a blog post for The Daily Beast! You know why? Because she and Tina Brown are tight. I know, it?s kind of a strange friendship, but it sort of works too. Angelina and Tina have come together to launch ?a Woman of Impact Award for Girls’ Education to provide funds to women and girls fighting for girls’ education in Pakistan and Afghanistan.? They?re doing it through the Women in the World Foundation, a foundation they?re both involved with (they appeared together at a foundation event earlier this year). All of the money raised through the partnership will go towards girls? education in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Angelina is donating the first $50,000 (donated from Angelina?s Education Partnership for Children of Conflict). Why this topical and somewhat controversial (?controversial? if you?re the Taliban) subject of education for girls? Because Angelina is getting involved with the story of Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen as she was returning home on the school bus. She?s still alive ? she?s receiving treatment in the UK right now. Malala has been a vocal proponent of girls? education since she was 11, and you can read more about her extraordinary and revolutionary life here. On Wednesday morning, as we readied the kids for school amidst a few of the usual complaints about not wanting to go, I saw a headline on the cover of The New York Times: Taliban Gun Down a Girl Who Spoke Up for Rights. The Taliban claimed that 14-year-old Malala Yousafzai ?ignored their warnings, and she left them no choice.? They approached her school bus, asking for her by name, and shot her in the head for promoting girls? education.
After reading the article, I felt compelled to share Malala?s story with my children. It was difficult for them to comprehend a world where men would try to kill a child whose only ?crime? was the desire that she and others like her be allowed to go to school.
Malala?s story stayed with them throughout the day, and that night they were full of questions. We learned about Malala together, watching her interviews and reading her diaries. Malala was just 11 years old when she began blogging for the BBC. She wrote of life under the Taliban, of trading in her school uniform for colorless plain clothes, of hiding books under her shawl, and eventually having to stop going to school entirely.
Our 8-year-old suggested that the world build a statue for Malala, and fittingly create a reading nook near it. Our 6-year-old asked the practical question of whether Malala had any pets, and if so, who would take care of them? She also asked about Malala?s parents and if they were crying. We decided that they were, but not only for their daughter, also for children around the world denied this basic human right. Like Malala, her parents are icons of bravery and strength. Malala?s father, also a long time champion for girls? education, is a school principal, teacher, and poet.
The following morning, the news showed pictures of children across Pakistan holding up Malala?s picture at vigils and demonstrations, and praying in schools. My son worried that girls were going to be shot for standing up for Malala. I told him that they were aware of the danger, but publicly supporting her reflects how much Malala means to them. Malala?s courage reminded all Pakistanis how important an education is. Her bravery inspired their own.
Still trying to understand, my children asked, ?Why did those men think they needed to kill Malala?? I answered, ?because an education is a powerful thing.?
The shots fired on Malala struck the heart of the nation, and as the Taliban refuse to back down, so too do the people of Pakistan. This violent and hateful act seems to have accomplished the opposite of its intent, as Pakistanis rally to embrace Malala?s principles and reject the tyranny of fear. A spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban said ?let this be a lesson.? Yes. Let this be a lesson?that an education is a basic human right, a right that Pakistan?s daughters will not be denied.
As girls across Pakistan stand up to say ?I am Malala,? they do not stand alone. Mothers and teachers around the world are telling their children and students about Malala, and encouraging them to be a part of her movement for girls? education. Across Pakistan, a national movement has emerged to rebuild the schools and recommit to educate all children, including girls. This terrible event marks the beginning of a necessary revolution in girls? education.
Malala is proof that it only takes the voice of one brave person to inspire countless men, women, and children. In classrooms and at kitchen tables around the world, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters are praying for Malala?s swift recovery and committing themselves to carry her torch. As the Nobel Committee meets to determine the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, I imagine brave Malala will be given serious consideration.

I was moved by the stories of how the Jolie-Pitt kids reacted, but I have to give a ?WTF?? to the last part. The Nobel committee has already determined the winner of the Peace Prize this year ? the European Union was given the award for ?its efforts to promote peace and democracy in Europe.? Unless Angelina means the 2013 Peace Prize? Or maybe she thinks that the Nobel Committee is going to take a mulligan after their EU announcement was met with near-universal derision? Which brings me to a weird point ? I respect Angelina?s humanitarian work a great deal, and I admire the simple fact that she puts her money and her time where her mouth is. But Angelina?s efforts and her years of work often get hung up or overshadowed by nagging little details like ?Does Angelina know that the Peace Prize was already announced??
Anyway? poor Malala. She sounds like an extraordinary young woman.

I?m including some of the press-kit images that Chanel sent us for Brad Pitt?s campaign. The black-and-white images are by Sam Taylor-Wood (Sam Taylor-Johnson, really), and the color images are by Mario Sorrenti. I prefer the ones in color ? Brad looks more like a dude who is slowly taking off his tuxedo because he?s coming to bone you. In the b&w images, he looks like the dude operating a backroom weed shop. I flat-out LOATHE the image they chose for the official print ad too ? it looks poorly Photoshop?d, and for the love of God, Brad really needs to close his mouth.
Anyway, Chanel released their second commercial ? it?s basically the same commercial as before, only this one has more chicks.
Compare it to the first ad ? same bulls?t ?script?, but this one is just Brad:
Meh. I guess I like the one with the chicks more? It gave me something else to concentrate on other than the dumb script that Brad is reciting. I really don?t understand this new Chanel tagline either ? ?Chanel: Inevitable?. RLY? It is ?inevitable? that I?ll wear Chanel No. 5? No, it?s not. I asked for Ralph Lauren?s Safari for Women for Christmas, thank you very much.
PS? The Guardian has a funny story about how Brad?s Chanel ads are awful, but that Chanel ads have a history of being kind of awful.

Halle Berry covers the November issue of In Style, on newsstands Friday. She looks amazing on the cover in a tight red cutout dress, but we wouldn’t expect anything else from her. You can say a lot of other things about Halle, but she usually looks incredible. An inside photo shows Halle in some ridiculous loose leather pants and fishnet gloves. I guess leather jodhpurs are in for that tiny subset of people with too much money and no sense of shame.
In her interview, Halle covers a lot of topics that the press is interested in: her custody battle and bid to move to France with Nahla, her fiance Oliver Martinez, her hair, and aging. (Not that she is actually aging.) I have to say that Halle talks a good game. She makes it sound like she wants to move to France for Nahla’s own good, and so that Nahla doesn’t inherit Halle’s own inflated sense of self. (Not that she actually said that.) It’s all about Nahla not feeling “special” because she’s followed by photographers, and about Nahla not growing up “around the tabloids.” It would have been more accurate to say she doesn’t want Nahla “to grow up around her father.” We have yet to how everything will turn out for Halle, Gabriel and most importantly, Nahla. That case is taking quite a while and I hope that means Halle will have to stay put. Here’s more:
On why she wants to move to France
“It’s the appeal of privacy and a greater sense of safety for Nahla. I don’t want her to grow up around the tabloids. Because we are followed all the time, she is starting to feel like she is somehow special, and of course she is, but I want her to understand that she’s special because of who she is, not because she was born into this celebrity blender.”
On her custody battle
“There is turbulence, bit this too shall pass.”
On her wedding plans:
“I do know it will be very small. I haven’t been to many weddings, but I went to one this weekend with 250 guests. I thought, Wow ? so this is a wedding, huh? I’ve never had that, nor have I wanted that. I wasn’t even trying to catch the bouquet!”
On her fiance Olivier Martinez:
?When I first met Olivier, there wasn?t the initial ?I?m in love!? It was something that grew more gradually?and it feels more real because of that. [Marriage] is another one of those never-say-never things. I?m a hopeless romantic, and I won?t stop till I get it right!?

Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don?t strive to be like them. You?re moving into a new phase of your life?embrace it. That?s what I hope to do.?
On not being defined by her hairstyle:
?I think I am at my best when my hair is short. It?s easier to take care of and more of who I am. Women are conditioned to think we need long hair. I see that happening with my daughter. She is so in love with her hair right now. She says, ?Look, Mommy?it?s so long!? As women, we think it defines us, and we learn that at a young age.?

Now we know that Halle is planning a small wedding, and that she considers it “embracing aging” to get subtle work done at the dermatologist. I’m not saying she looks toxy or filled, she doesn’t, but she’s had some minor things done. I would too in her position, but I like to think I would be more honest about it. (Who knows though.) The main thing that bothered me about this interview was how Halle used her daughter as an example of women being “conditioned to think we need long hair.” I only have a little boy, I can’t speak for girls, but he was into boy stuff from a very small age, like cars, trucks and robots. It really seemed ingrained to me and not influenced by society, media, or family at all. He just wasn’t interested in girlie stuff and there was nothing that would have changed that. Of course we need more role models for girls that are not naive Disney princesses waiting for their savior prince, but a preference for long hair doesn’t mean that society is defining it for a child. She’s just a little kid. I went through a phase where I refused to wear anything but dresses. At least Halle doesn’t insist her daughter cut her hair.

Juggling multiple bags, Halle Berry stopped at Bristol Farms to stock up on groceries in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (October 16).
The "Cloud Atlas" star wore a white t-shirt that read "Got to Have Faith," daisy dukes, and flip-flops as she made her way to her vehicle.
Recently, the 46-year-old actress spoke to InStyle magazine about her age and style. Though it's easy to say if you look like Halle Berry, she advises, "Don't stress about your age or fight it. Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don't strive to be like them. You're moving into a new phase of your life ? embrace it. That's what I hope to do."
As for her familiar short hairdo, the Cleveland native explains, "I think I am at my best when my hair is short. It's easier to take care of and more of who I am. Women are conditioned to think we need long hair. I see that happening with my daughter. She is so in love with her hair right now. She says, 'Look, Mommy ? it's so long!' As women, we think it defines us, and we learn that at a young age."

After having two children, most women would aspire to look like Jessica Alba, but the 31-year-old actress is reportedly not happy with her progress. She'll appear in the upcoming "Sin City" sequel, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," but her high standards have left her uneasy with her body.
A source tells Life and Style magazine, "She was crushed when filming began and she didn't have her original body back so she told producers she wanted a body double."
The insider added, "Her body is incredible, but for her it's not good enough. She's cut out carbs and does the P90X Ab Ripper twice a day, but she still isn't happy.''
