Taking part in the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Katy Perry was all smiles as she made her way around the City of Lights on Wednesday afternoon (October 7).
Joined by a few companions, the “"I Kissed a Girl” cutie opted to take in the Louis Vuitton Ready-to-Wear show which was held at the Cour Carree du Louvre.
And while she’s made headlines for her budding romance with russell Brand, Miss Perry seems to be in the midst of a feud with fellow singer Lily Allen.
Talking about the two’s attendance at the Chanel show the previous day, a source told The Sun, “Chanel did not want to risk offending Katy by not inviting her. Nor could they risk upsetting Lily if her rival popped up in the front row. Very senior people had to smooth things out so there was no embarrassing scene and Katy stayed away.”

Stepping out for a good cause, Geri Halliwell made her way to the Breast Cancer Care 2009 Fashion Show at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday evening (October 7).
The former Spice Girl looked sexy in a multi-colored gown as she strutted through the arrivals area to join fellow attendees including Lisa Snowdon, Kara Tointon and Gail Porter, among others.
Aside from helping out with breast cancer research, Miss Halliwell recently launched a campaign to help women suffering from gender based violence in Nepal.
Of the effort, Geri told press: “Violence against women and girls is not acceptable in any country; it’s not acceptable in the United Kingdom and it’s not acceptable in Nepal. Though it’s the 21st century, mothers are still dying in childbirth and subjected to violence within the home.”
The 37-year-old adds, “Women deserve to be empowered in all areas, in health, education, and to feel safe. It’s a proven fact; a strong healthy educated mother is the key to a healthy, prosperous country. We all benefit: we take care of them, they take care of us.”

Unknown sources are saying that the couple is in “serious” love and may be tying the knot sooner than later.
One of the insiders told FOX news, “Kate and Alex are definitely in serious love right now. Kate will spend every free minute with him and she happily brings son, Ryder, along with her to games and on trips to be with Alex.”
Reportedly, the two are sharing one of Miss Hudson’s Los Angeles homes and A-Rod’s New York bachelor pad, but recently the couple has moved into a second home in Purchase, New York.

The ex “Girls Next Door” star admits that, “While Hank and I were dating we went to place called Cove Haven in the Poconos. [It’s] a couples resort stuck in the 70s and it was sooooo old school. The best part was that they take it so seriously. They weren’t trying to be funny, this place was for REAL!”
Among the resort’s amenities: a heart-shaped jacuzzi, mirrors surrounding the bed and no windows or clocks in the cavernous bedrooms.
Ms Wilkinson also added that she and Hank were, by far, the youngest couple at the resort.

Tina Fey is the November cover girl for Harper?s Bazaar, and the cover shot is? interesting. It?s not that Tina doesn?t look pretty, but I just don?t get the ?surprised? look on her face. Maybe she?s trying to show us she doesn?t use Botox? Perhaps. Tina?s a lovely woman, and I?m not really sure if this cover does her justice. The rest of the photos are pretty good though - any of them would have made a prettier cover (see slideshow here). The interview is great too. On her now-trademark glasses: “I don’t wear them very much in real life because I need them to see only far away. And I don’t wear them when I am dressed up, because then I would look like Tootsie. It is funny because some of the grandma, old Dynasty-style lighting tricks that I’d like to be able to do are problematic with glasses. You see the lighting instruments. You may see Lemon start taking her glasses off more and more frequently as the season goes on so it becomes Barbara Walters.”
On working out: “I like to delude myself that I’m in the old-Hollywood mode. I just tailor my clothes well and try to keep my skin clear. While it would be great to work out an hour a day, there is something inherently sort of selfish about it. I can’t do it.”

My favorite part is when she talks about the old tricks some shows or programs use to make the older ladies look good. Some shows really did stuff like Vaseline on the camera lens, or either very, very soft lighting or too-bright ?everything gets blown out? lighting. That?s what The View does - those ladies are practically glowing they?re so blown out. Man, I can?t wait for 30 Rock?s premiere. According to NBC?s 30 Rock website, it?s going to be next Thursday at 9:30 Eastern. Cannot. Wait. Lemon!

After reality star Tila Tequila alarmed friends and fans by tweeting that she wanted to kill herself on Monday, the "Shot at Love" star has just written a blog post on GlobalGrind.com assuring the public that she's getting help for her suicidal thoughts.
According to E! Online, Tila tweeted (on her site that has now been protected), "I am going to kill myself cuz I don't want to life in a world where its filled with IGNORANCE! which majority of you ARE! & racists! As dark descends into my world ... I drown at night, without a fight. One last breath before I go. Don't mourn me world, I will die slow."
But in her Global Grind post, titled "Suicide Is Not the Answer," she appears to have gotten some perspective on the situation. "I just wanted to take a moment to address all of my fans and the people I care about regarding my recent public suicidal meltdown online," she wrote. "I don't usually issue statements to address rumors, but since suicide is a very serious subject, I felt that it is my responsibility to come clean and speak out about it, as emotional and personal as it is.
"I am a bit embarrassed and ashamed that the whole world witnessed my very public meltdown about being suicidal, but at the same time, I know that I shouldn't be," she continued. "Had I not spoken out for help, my loved ones would not have seen my cry for help, and I probably wouldn't be alive today. Had I not done what I did that night, I most definitely would have made the biggest mistake of my life, that I can never undo."
Tequila, 27, says her depression began earlier this year, when she was hospitalized after an alleged altercation with then-boyfriend San Diego Chargers player Shawne Merriman. "Recently, I was involved in a highly publicized case of domestic violence, and I have never really spoken out about it," she wrote, alluding to the incident in which no charges were ever filed."I do not want to bring this up again, however it has been a very difficult situation for me. Not being able to speak to people about it in public, and having to pretend to move on (with life) as though nothing ever happened, has taken a heavy toll on me, physically, as well as mentally."
But Tila finished the blog post on an upbeat note, saying, "We all must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, and everyday is a new day!After the storm passes, the sun will always be there to shine on you once again! We have only one life to live, so why not give it a try?It takes a stronger person to fight through the hard times than take the easy way out!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!God Bless!"

While we all know her as J.Lo, Jennifer Lopez might soon be known as Lola with the release of her upcoming, yet-untitled album. The song "Fresh Out the Oven" — which is speculated to be the lead single and features rapper Pitbull — hit the Web on Wednesday morning (October 7), along with an online promotional campaign introducing Lopez's Lola alter ego.
"Now don't tell me that you love me to get with this/ You say you stay forever/ But it don't make sense," she sings during the Neptunes-produced song's first verse.
In September, MTV Tr3s spoke to Pitbull about his collaboration with Lopez. "Definitely something very, very sexy," Pit described of the track. "Produced by Pharrell, look out for it. It's kind of like eyes wide shut." He also confirmed that the video for the song has already been shot.
A Web site and Twitter account were launched introducing Lola. With the tagline "Who Is Lola?," the site includes a video of a woman, presumably Lopez, dancing seductively against a flickering black-and-white backdrop. The clip also features a snippet of "Fresh Out the Oven." Various thumbnails with ruby-red lips line the bottom of the site, where additional clips will be released. The singer's last studio album, Brave, was released in 2007.
Lopez is in talks to appear on "Saturday Night Live" as the host and musical guest. In a recent interview with TheDeadbolt.com, "SNL" castmember Kenan Thompson revealed that Lopez will be appearing on the late-night sketch show's 35th season.

Though she already played part of the song on last weekend's "Saturday Night Live" and a demo version made its way onto the Internet late last week, the finished recorded version of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" was finally unveiled on Tuesday at Alexander McQueen's runway show at Paris Fashion Week.
McQueen was debuting his Spring/Summer 2010 collection for a capacity crowd in the French capital, and though Gaga wasn't in attendance, her presence was certainly felt, as it was easy to imagine the singer donning one of the strange, lizard-like frocks that paraded down the runway during the 17-minute show. (You can watch a video of the whole spectacle over on McQueen's site.)
"Bad Romance" made its way into the soundtrack at the end of the show, accompanying the encore of all the looks that McQueen had showed off. The models were flocked by two robotic arms carrying cameras and lit in sharp theatrical hues — certainly a performance on par with Gaga's over-the-top sensibilities.
The finished version of "Bad Romance" was produced by RedOne (who was also responsible for her smash hits "Just Dance," "LoveGame" and "Poker Face") and will be available on the re-release of her album The Fame on November 24. The Fame: Monster was supposed to be supported by her co-headlining Fame Kills tour with Kanye West, but since the tour was canceled, Gaga says she'll be hitting the road on her own.
In the meantime, Gaga has immediate plans for this weekend: She'll be in Washington, D.C., for the National Equality March, an event to support gay rights. She even posted a video online in an attempt to encourage people to come out this weekend to support the cause.

According to breaking reports, the sexy supermodel went to the hospital overnight as she prepares to give birth to her fourth child.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” stud looked to be enjoying himself as he filmed scenes in a local street market, laughing and chatting with cast and crew in between scenes.
Back home in the States, the Kentucky State Government chose to honor Clooney with an award from the governor yesterday.
George’s parents Nick and Nina accepted the award on behalf of their son. He was given the 2009 National Award in the Arts.

Yesterday Mariah Carey made a big deal about dispelling the longstanding belief that she?s a total diva. Unfortunately, while her words said one thing, her actions said another: she?s still a total diva. In fact MSNBC has a detailed article about the ridiculous lengths Carey?s staff has to go to in order to ensure she?s constantly protected (security sweeps before concerts, none of the venue?s own staff allowed in), given access to proper stylists (demanding six figures for her hair and makeup people alone), and generally catered to at all times. But don?t worry, she?s not some crazy diva.
Mariah Carey is not without flaws, as evidenced by the title of her new album ?Confessions of an Imperfect Angel,? but her behavior on her current publicity tour is calling into question the veracity of the angelic claim as well.
?Her security is doing walk-throughs of her performance locations prior to her appearances, as if she?s the president or something,? said one person who was present at one such sweep.
It’s even more intense on the day of a Carey performance, says the source. ?She?ll show up with more than a dozen people on her team, and she?s been asking that the people who actually work there are removed from the floor and only her staffers be present,? said the source, who adds that the demand is not always met.
The level of high maintenance Carey is displaying while promoting both ?Imperfect Angel? and her new film, ?Precious?, didn?t surprise one person, who has worked with Carey in the past.
?We were paying for her travel, her expenses, and yet she still wanted to be compensated nearly six figures just for hair and makeup,? said the source.

For the most part, Jude Law?s turn as Hamlet on the London stage was full of praise. The critical and financial success of the London show was largely the reason why it was brought to Broadway. Now that Jude?s been in previews for a while, the formal reviews are in from the New York critics - and while there?s significant praise for Jude, there?s also some funny criticism. I think I laughed the hardest at the NYT?s Ben Brantley, who noted that Jude?s gestures were a bit? obvious. Like, sign language obvious.
To be, or not to be ? a hit on Broadway?
That is the question Wednesday morning as the reviews come in for Jude Law’s turn as Hamlet in the much-anticipated Broadway turn for the production, which originated in London to acclaim and opened at New York’s Broadhurst Theatre Tuesday night. Reaction is decidedly mixed.
“If Hamlet talks about his mind, you can bet that Mr. Law will point to his forehead; when he mentions the heavens, his arm shoots straight up; and when the guy says his gorge rises, rest assured that he clutches at his stomach. If every actor were like Mr. Law, signed performances for the hard of hearing would be unnecessary,” snipes Ben Brantley of The New York Times.
“If anything, Law starts out too overwrought, moaning and gnawing through the great soliloquies as if they were causing him intestinal distress,” Time Out New York’s David Cote notes. Others put in much kinder terms.
“His Hamlet is no brooding philosopher/prince; he’s an angry young man, a bundle of nerves forever threatening to explode,” raves USA Today’s Elysa Gardner , who considers Law’s soliloquies “both muscular and exquisitely lyrical.”
The traditionally acerbic John Simon of Bloomberg News, however, found nothing poetic about Law’s “flashy, frequently jocular and unsubtle” performance in a play “aimed at neophyte audiences lured to the play not only by the star but with the added promise of a thriller liberally sprinkled with yocks.”
Time Out New York, which generally lauded Law, was one of many that had a bone to pick with the supporting cast, finding Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Ophelia ho-hum, and Geraldine James and Ian Drysdale’s Gertrude and Claudius an example of actors taking the phrase “the banality of evil” too literally.
Then thank God Jude’s pretty, all critics agreed. Noted The New York Times: “Mr. Law’s undeniable charisma and gender-crossing sex appeal may captivate Broadway theatergoers who wouldn’t normally attend productions of Shakespeare.”

So, most people like it. It will be a Broadway hit, and Jude Law will make some money to stock up for all of those child support payments he?s got to make. Speaking of, the British tabloids have been trying to act like Jude has refused to see his daughter with one-night-stand/baby-mama Samantha Burke because he?s still unsure of the paternity. Some American sources tried to play that game too, but I feel pretty confident that Jude and Samantha found out the paternity in utero, and that?s why he released the statement about it when Samantha was seven months pregnant. I really think Jude hasn?t flown down to meet his daughter yet simply because he cares more about gesticulating on stage.

Keeping low-key as of late, Matthew McConaughey was spotted leaving his production office with his crew in Venice, California on Tuesday (October 6).
Tending to his work duties, the “Fool’s Gold” stud and the gang then hopped into a large production truck before driving away from nearby paparazzi.
The sighting comes just after Matthew spent time taping a new public service to benefit veterans and military families.
“It’s our duty to serve veterans and military families who serve their country in the most difficult ways imaginable,” McConaughey says in the PSA. “Let’s honor their service with ours.”
Reports tell that the PSA will contribute to Welcome Back Veterans, an agency that “supports veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan by addressing the post traumatic stress disorder needs of the veterans and their families, plus provides job opportunities.”

She’s nabbed the cover of Elle magazine’s November issue, and Katie Holmes has a lot to say about family life and her affinity for believable vampires.
When asked about her devotion to husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri, Katie explained, “In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it’s like, ‘How is everybody else doing?’ And it’s wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character.”
Katie also confessed to being a fan of vampire movies. “I even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”
And when it comes to getting dressed, Ms. Holmes has a few names she prefers to put on. “I love Alaa, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it’s very American, and I’m pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron.”

The November issue of Elle is devoted to ?Women in Hollywood?. Katie Holmes is the cover girl, but they also profile Emily Blunt (love her), Julianne Moore (love her more), Renee Zellweger (meh) and Zoe Saldana (pretty girl, but meh to her as well). As for the cover shot, I actually like it. Katie looks very cute with her choppy, cute haircut. And her eyes are looking less zombie-esque (can they photoshop the zombie out?). The dress is alright, and it is nice to see Katie in a bright color, but the dress just shows off how very thin Katie is.
Everybody was interviewed, but none of them really had anything fascinating to say. Katie loves vampire movies (and yet, no mention of zombies). Emily loves being a character actress, and she bitches about aging in Hollywood (her picture is awful too - it?s like they were trying to make her look vacant). Julianne, who is by far one of the greatest actresses working today, was barely interviewed (but her photo is fab). Renee watches a lot of Katherine Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe movies (who doesn?t?). Zoe is zzzz?

Eh, I?m just going to avoid talking about the other girls, and just focus on my girl Julianne. She?s got two films coming out this fall/winter, and both look interesting. First, there?s Chloe, which doesn?t have a release date yet. Julianne plays a wife who suspects her husband is cheating, so she hires a hooker, Chloe, to seduce him. It stars Amanda Seyfried (as Chloe) and Liam Neeson (as the husband). The second film is Tom Ford?s directorial debut, A Single Man. Julianne plays a supporting role to Colin Firth, who is an early contender for Lead Oscar. Hopefully, we?ll be seeing Julianne on some red carpets this awards season too - she usually brings it, and I love her so much.

Even though I think there are several terrifying aspects of Tom Cruise and his Scientology ?faith?, I still have to give the guy credit for some things. First, I totally respect how hard he works, whether he?s filming a movie or on promotional duties. He has an amazing work ethic, and I think that?s probably one of the biggest reasons he?s had a career that?s spanning three decades of superstardom, and why people in Hollywood were perfectly willing to give him a ?comeback? after the couch-jumping incident. Secondly, I have to give Tom props for always going out of his way to talk to and spend time with his fans. He always appears very gracious and generous on that front, and I have so much respect for that.
So Tom?s entertainment lawyer was a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business school yesterday, and guess who showed up? According to sources, Tom chilled out with the students to listen to lawyer Bertram Fields? lecture, and after the talk was over, Tom hung out with the kids and jokes around, being charming. That?s really sweet:
Tom Cruise, who?s in Boston filming his new rom-com Wichita with Cameron Diaz, swapped the film set for the classroom, when he joined a Harvard law class given by his own lawyer on Monday.
Hollywood legal eagle Bertram Fields was lecturing in the school?s entertainment law class Oct. 5, when the father-of-three snuck in, announcing he was there to see Bert speak.
Tom, 46, took his seat among the students, and gazed attentively at the guest lecturer, every so often sharing a joke with the lucky law student sitting next to him.
The Harvard Law Record reports that he interjected with stories about his own experience in entertainment and he ?kept students laughing with his jokes.?
At one point the entire class yelled out the most famous line from his 1992 movie A Few Good Men, ?You can?t handle the truth!?
After the lecture Tom, who?s been putting wife Katie Holmes through her paces on daily runs, ?shared advice, stories, high fives, handshakes, hugs, and even at one point an impromptu dance.?

Beyonce Knowles is finally breaking her silence about Kanye West storming the stage at the VMAs to declare that she should have won Best Female Video instead of Taylor Swift.
“Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award,’” Beyonce, 28, told O: The Oprah magazine editor at large Gayle King (via MTV News) at the Billboard Awards over the weekend, when she was named Woman of the Year.
“When they didn’t call my name, he was, like, completely shocked,” Knowles says. “And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’”

Debuting their pooch pals, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt introduced their new puppies, Dolly and Ninja, while out in the Hollywood Hills on Tuesday (October 6).
According to paparazzi sources, the “Hills” co-star couple were happy to take their tiny pups out for a walk, although the lucky new arrivals were carried for most of the way.
The paparazzo adds, “Heidi admitted that having the dogs had made her think twice about having children just yet - as they were quite a handful!”
Speaking of children, Spencer’s sister, Stephanie, recently admitted that she’s not sold that the twosome are ready for kiddies just yet, telling, “Heidi is the one with the baby fever; Spencer is not. She’s like, ‘I still want to get a house with a white-picket fence ... and then probably a dog, and then we’ll move on to kids.’ I keep telling her, ‘You don’t have to get a dog [either].’ A dog is a kid. They’re just too busy.”

Always easy on the eyes, Kate Beckinsale was spotted as she took the day off to treat herself to a spa and shopping spree in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (October 6).
The “Van Helsing” hottie was joined by a gal pal for the afternoon outing, browsing the local store’s racks in search of a few new additions to the wardrobe.
The outing comes just as Miss Beckinsale was revealed to be Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive in its November issue.
Talking about the honor, which she takes from Halle Berry, Kate joked, “I’m feeling that I must earn this. I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”
