Here is Kendall Jenner hitting up West Hollywood workout joint Y7, on Saturday, in their sexiest Spandex, working up a sweat at LA’s newest exercise trend, hip-hop yoga.
She showed off her abs in sports bras and went makeup-free for the intense, 60-minute class “of intensity combined with heat and strength complemented by deep breathing and a calming of the mind,” according to the studio’s web site. It reads, “We ask you to step outside the chaos and embrace the fire inside. You?ll flow along to the latest beats. There are no mirrors in the candle-lit studios. The darkness, the sounds, and the heat will take you to a place you?ve never before been.”

We don’t see Kristen Bell much anymore these days. Ever since she became a mom MILF, it’s like she’s too busyor something. But the good news is she’s got a new movie coming out, so she was contractually obligated to show up to the world premiere with that super-cute cleavage of hers for once. So […]

Last time we saw Minka Kelly, I was pulling for a hotness comeback from the leggy brunette. I don’t know about you perverts, but I miss the days of drooling over her booty in skintight spandex. But even though she didn’t follow my patented comeback plan of bikini vacations and “leaked”sex tapes, she did do […]

| Sean Diddy Combs opens a charter school in Harlem: 'a dream come true' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Mogul Sean Diddy Combs, who was born in Harlem, is fulfilling his dream of giving back to his community by opening a charter school this fall. Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School is currently accepting applications for 6th and 7th grade and will add a grade each year until they are at full capacity of approximately 700 students in grades 6-12.
Their website states that teachers at Capital Prep Harlem will be referred to as illuminators and, according to principal Danita Jones, ?Illuminators literally … coparent.? This involves calling parents, checking on students’ needs and solving problems in the community. The idea of Capital Prep Harlem is to have all students complete college and, among their five learner expectations, to be empathetic citizens. In addition, Danita said that children who do not have enough food at home would take home a backpack full of food for the weekend.
Diddy is expanding his list of endeavors with the opening a charter school in Harlem, the hip-hop mogul’s native neighborhood. The Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School will launch for the fall 2016 school year, following his five-year search for educational partners and community leaders, and Diddy says that creating the school is a “dream come true.
“I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders,” he said in a statement. “The first step is offering access to a quality education.”
The school will be overseen by Capital Preparatory Schools’ founder Dr. Steve Perry, who initially founded Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford in 2005, and will be housed in the same building as El Museo Del Barrio. Diddy and the board have also selected Orlando educator Danita Jones to serve as principal, per a press release. The school’s website states that their mission is to provide disadvantaged Harlem students with skills necessary for college and careers.
[From Billboard]
Just roughly, within the US public school system, a charter school is a tax-funded school but run by an outside organization (i.e. parents, teachers or third party). A magnet school is a tax-funded school with a select group of faculty and generally a specialized curriculum designed to pull students from all over a district.
After what Diddy described as an ?exhaustive search? to find an educational partner, Diddy approached Dr. Perry six years ago. Initially, Dr. Perry had no interest in expanding outside of Hartford. He tried to convince Diddy to establish a scholarship or after-school program instead. But Diddy wanted a school and Diddy tends to get what he wants. Dr. Perry is not without controversy as an educator, however. In 2013, he was called out for some inappropriate tweets on social media seemingly threatening the Hartford parents that disagreed with him. When he stepped down in 2014, despite the official reasons given, there were several accusations of inflated success numbers and unyielding leadership practices. Dr. Perry is publicly outspoken in opposition to teacher unions, although I have yet to hear his thoughts on illuminator unions.
I think Diddy is well intentioned. I am not in the NY school system but I know that here in Los Angeles, we have had problems when a magnet model is applied to a charter school. I really hope the school is a success. A new school in any community provides a great deal of hope but we all know how hard a school is to run.
This is a dream come true! #HARLEM IM COMIN HOME!!!! https://t.co/x3MQkmiIwh

| Naomi Watts doesn't do Botox: 'I [play] characters that should match my age' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Naomi Watts covers New Beauty Magazine to promote her role in Allegiant. It has a miserable 11% on Rotten Tomatoes, and it underperformed at the box office to the point where Lionsgate’s stock has fallen and the studio is running scared. There’s still the second part of the final book, Ascendant, coming out in 2017 and since it hasn’t been filmed yet the budget has reportedly been cut.
Getting back to Watts, People had some photos from the editorial and she looks lovely and kind of regal. Her legs are impossibly long on the cover and since she’s only 5’5? there was surely Photoshop involved. She’s talking to New Beauty Magazine, so she discusses hair, makeup and plastic surgery. She sounds very low maintenance, but I’ve seen her casual style and she usually looks comfortable but well put together, not like she just threw something on, went out with wet hair and no makeup and added some ugly shoes. (You know who I’m talking about.) That’s the way she describes herself though.
She doesn’t wear heels unless she has to
I do enjoy the red carpet for the reason that you get to express yourself. But, ordinarily, I would never put on high heels unless I absolutely had to.
She keeps her hair and makeup simple day-to-day
I love the two [hair and makeup] as a form of expression, but day to day, I?m pretty much makeup-free and in jeans, T-shirts and sweaters. I?m not even very good at actually doing my own hair or my makeup?and I?m one of those people who walks out the door with wet hair all the time. If anything, maybe I put on some concealer, blush and mascara, but often not even that. My mother was not very good at giving beauty tips, but she was?and still is?a striking beauty. I was always very aware of her beauty, but I never felt as beautiful as her, or that I could ever be that beautiful.
She doesn’t do Botox
Personally I feel, for me, it?s tough to do Botox?but it?s also tough not to! Sometimes, I think I need the help. Whatever anyone else chooses is fine with me, no judgment. Of course, I want to look the best I can, but I am playing characters that should match my age and the women and the material that I am interested in are usually going through something. I have to be able to live in my face and tell the story of the character I?ve taken on. But?I?ll never say never.
On coming to terms with aging
Coming to terms with aging as gracefully as possible is the best thing anyone can do, no matter who you are, but everyone has their good days and bad days. I feel so much better as a person now than I did in my 20s, but most of the time I feel like I?m still a kid. There are days you feel like you are on top of it and you are OK and at peace with it; then there are the days you still feel 28 inside ? until you catch that reflection or see a photograph and realize you aren?t anymore.
[From New Beauty and some quotes via People]
She never looks frozen or altered to me, although she looks extremely good at 47, so I believe her. Watts says she does something called a Triad Facial, which is a combination of microdermabrasion, lasers and a peel. A lot of people are wondering if Watts’s quotes about Botox were a kind of gentle reference to her friend Nicole Kidman’s very extreme, very obvious work. I doubt she realizes that it could be taken that way, though. While Watts acknowledges that Kidman helped her immensely when she was a struggling actress in Australia, she implied in a recent interview with Net-a-Porter that she doesn’t see her much. She said “We?re busy people that live in different places” but that “even after big gaps [of not seeing each other], we just take up where we left off.” I doubt that Nicole was the first face that came to mind when she thought Botox. That’s her old friend. You think of your friend like “oh, that’s Nicole, her work isn’t that bad.” (At least that’s how I think of my friends who have had injections and/or plastic surgery. Like I can tell they’ve had it done but I knew them, so it doesn’t seem as noticeable as it would if they were a random stranger.)
I also wish more celebrities would take this approach to Botox especially. It’s very obvious on both TV and in the movies. When someone is playing a modern character who would have the resources to get Botox it doesn’t distract me as much, but several years into the zombie apocalypse there shouldn’t be any Botox left and a person’s face should move, you know?
