Here’s Emily Ratajkowski getting dirty over the weekend with a few friends. And you know, I’ve been doing posts on Emily long enough now that I like to think we’re friends. OK, so yes, I know we’ve never actually met and/or talked, but I’m willing to pretend she’s a real “actress” whenever she does a […]

I don’t know whyDoutzen Kroes never became more famous. I mean, she’s got an amazing body, she’s a total five-alarm pants fire, and it always seems like she’s posing topless (or pretty damn close to it). I honestly don’t know what this Dutch super-hottiemissing. Except maybe a set of rich parents willing to buy her […]

Last I checked, Alessandra Ambrosio was 36, which is pretty much retirement age in supermodel years. And oh yeah, she’s also got two kids. But somehow her body still looks just as good as it did 15 years ago. I don’t know how she does it, but at this rate, Alessandra’s going to do the […]

| Is 50-year-old Halle Berry trying to show us a 'baby bump?' (update: denial!) | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Halle Berry at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball over the weekend. I swear, I looked through these photos on Sunday and I thought, ?she looks nice in that color, maybe if it?s slow, I?ll write about her outfit.? I swear I really did look through the pics and I really didn?t notice anything other than the dress. But look at how Halle is positioning herself in several of these photos. Look at the way she?s ?cradling? her midsection. Look at the small but visible ?bump.? Halle seems to want us to see that bump. Halle Berry is 50 years old. And now some people are like, ?Damn, is she preggo????
To be fair, few of us really expected Halle to announce her pregnancy the last time, when she was pregnant with son Maceo. She was 46-47 during that pregnancy, which happens sometimes – some ladies will have a fertility spike pre-menopause, in their 40s. I always believed that was what happened with Maceo too – I didn?t think Halle had fertility treatments, and I don?t even believe that she and Olivier Martinez were trying to have a baby. So did that happen again?
It seems strange to be bump-watching a 50-year-old woman – although, let?s face it, people are still doing that sh-t to Jennifer Aniston – but to be clear, people are talking about it because of the way Halle was posing. If she hadn?t been like ?look at my little bump,? I think most people would have just gone with the ?Halle wore a silver dress to a charity event, looked great? angle.
As for who allegedly put a baby in there, your guess is as good as mine. _(?)_/
Update: Halle’s rep tells Extra that Halle is not knocked up. So why the pose? No one knows.

OK, so this one is a little tricky for me. In case you didn’t hear, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande performed as part ofa big, star-studded charity benefit concert for Manchester last night, and it’s a little tough to make jokes about that, because it’s a great cause. It’s also difficult, because every time I […]

| Jessica Alba on being with her kids: 'it's about quality and not quantity' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum have a joint interview with E! Online in which they?re promoting flip flops they designed for Haviaianas, with 100% of the proceeds to go to Baby2Baby, an LA-based charity which supports low income families. E! asked them the go-to question for working moms – how do you balance it all? I wish more dads would get asked this question. Jessica is running her business, The Honest Company, and it?s clear that she?s a very busy person and that she?s thought about these issues quite a bit. Her responses remind me of old school Ivanka Trump, before we knew what a complicit horrible person she was, in that Ivanka used to say she worked 16 hour days and only saw her daughter at bedtime and on the weekends. That was before she had two more kids and became the botoxed face of fascism. As I said back then, that?s her prerogative as it is Jessica?s. Jenna didn?t say much about balancing being a mom and working but I don?t think this affects her as much as Jessica. She?s probably home a lot more. Here?s some of the interview, with more at the source:
“I think feeling like you’re missing moments, like, well first off, you feel bad when you realize they are wearing shoes that hurt them because you’re like, ‘Oh, I didn’t even realize that you’ve been wearing shoes that are too small for you for like 3-4 months, my bad,’” Jessica said. “Some of those milestones or moments, you want to be there for every single one and it’s not realistic when you’re working, but for me, that’s what gets me. Even the everyday little things like picking them up from school are a big deal, so I drop them off at school most mornings and try to get home for bedtime. But the weekends is really when I get to spend the time with them.”
“Yeah, for me it’s always a balancing act and learning and perfecting the balancing act is the toughest part,” Jenna said. “For me, with work, it’s interesting because it will be really, really busy and then I’ll have a little bit of time where it isn’t quite as busy, so you have a little bit of time where balancing that is easier. She’s pretty good now because she understands that now.”
“It’s like a checks and balances kind of thing where you really put in good quality time so you feel a little bit better about working the next day,” she said. “It’s about finding that, and constantly sort of not making yourself feel guilty but trying to work that out for yourself, so that your family gets lots of time and quality time together. It’s a balancing act always.”
Jessica said she thinks “it’s about quality and not quantity.”
“Totally,” Jenna said. “I say that all the time, because getting that good quality time in there assures the time you have to be away working to just feel better for you and for your kid and your family, just making that a priority.”
[From E! Online]
I often think about this, like what would my life be like if I had to work eight hours a day (at least) in an office, plus have a commute, plus have to run a household. It?s hard enough to work from home and I have the luxury of being able to pick my son up from school and do small things around the house like laundry and dishes. I can?t imagine having to run the house and work a regular job too. Alba has help though, her husband is likely there as well, and it?s not like she has to clean, do laundry or cook meals. This is her choice and it?s not one we would even be considering if she was a dad. It sounds extreme to me but she runs a hugely successful business and that?s not achieved without a lot of time and effort.
What a beautiful day spent at the beach with the @Baby2Baby children! Thank you @HavaianasUSA for hosting this wonderful event for the deserving kiddos we serve! We all had so much fun in the sun!

| Kendall Jenner in D&G at polo charity event: cute or tacky go-go dancer? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from Saturday?s 10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, an annual charity polo match that goes down in New Jersey. Every year, the event is pretty well attended, and this year was no different. Kendall Jenner was one of the big-name attendees, and I?m not even joking about that: Kendall was obviously one of the big names, one of the big ?gets? for the charity. Kendall wore this Dolce & Gabbana dress which? I actually sort of like. Maybe not for this event, but it?s cute and interesting. The problem I have with this is that I hate that she paired an interesting minidress with those white boots. The whole ensemble together makes it seem like she?s about to go-go dance.
Nicole Kidman was there, wearing this Alessandra Rich dress which makes me question whether I really understand what should be worn if you?re going to be a spectator at a charity polo match. This doesn?t seem like the look, right? I?m not a polka-dots person, nor am I a big fan of giant buttons or a high, Victorian neckline, so I don?t really care for this.
Freida Pinto wore an Elie Saab jumpsuit which I really, really like. You know what makes this interesting? The racing stripe down the side. That?s boss. I also think it?s cute that she posed with Luke Evans – apparently, they?re good friends?? The big, floppy hat needs to go though.
Speaking of unfortunate hats, check out Priyanka Chopra?s ensemble. Her polka-dotted dress is Altuzarra, and I don?t hate it (because it doesn?t come with buttons and a Victorian collar, Nicole). But the Gigi Burris hat is killing me. Some women have a face for hats, and some women don?t. It?s not something you can help, and you don?t know until you try. I do not have a face for hats. The Duchess of Cambridge has a great face for hats. Priyanka? She does not have a face for hats.
Kate Mara is actually wearing what I would wear to a polo match, only I would have worn a slip or asked that the dress be lined. This is cute, summery and polo-spectator-y to me. Those little ?wings? with her hairstyle though? no bueno.

| ?Wonder Woman' made history with a $100.5 million box office opening weekend | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
A month ago, box office analysts were being cautiously optimistic about Wonder Woman?s box office. They were saying WW would be a hit, but they thought maybe the North American box office opening would be about $65-70 million. When the review embargo was lifted and Rotten Tomatoes? fresh rating came in, all of a sudden Warner Bros realized that they actually had made a good movie that people actually wanted to see. So the analysis was that WW would make about $90 million. Well, good news. Wonder Woman broke the $100 million mark domestically, and she?s raking it in worldwide too.
In a defining moment for Hollywood’s gender problem, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman grossed a winning $100.5 million in its domestic box office debut, the biggest opening of all time for a female director. Hollywood studios are notoriously loath to hire female directors, not to mention for a big-budget tentpole featuring a marquee superhero. Wonder Woman’s performance could put even more pressure on film companies to make women filmmakers more job offers.
The $150 milllion Warner Bros. movie, starring Gal Gadot, also launches the first film franchise featuring a female superhero after both Catwoman and Elecktra flopped in the mid-2000?s. Wonder Woman skewed female (52 percent), almost unheard for a superhero tentpole, which usually draws an audience that is 60 percent male. Wonder Woman becomes the 16th superhero film to cross $100 million in its domestic box-office launch, a list that is topped by the likes of Marvel’s The Avengers ($207 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($191.3 million), Captain America: Civil War ($179.1 million), Iron Man 3 ($174 million) and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice ($166 million).
[From THR]
This is what many of us have been saying all along: there?s a real hunger for female-led action/fantasy/comic-book adaptations. There?s a real hunger for films that appeal to young girls AND their moms? around the whole world. And there?s a real hunger for studios – COUGH MARVEL COUGH – to step away from their sausage-party vibes. There is absolutely no reason why Marvel couldn?t have carved out some space for a stand-alone Black Widow movie. This proves that there would have been an audience for that story. Then again, I?m really glad that it was Wonder Woman who broke through – she?s way more iconic than Black Widow.
As for the talk of a sequel – of course there will be a sequel. Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot are already under contract for at least one sequel, although WB hasn?t technically greenlighted it yet (but they will). Jenkins and Gadot recently said that the sequel would likely be set in modern times, and that they would skip out on doing another historical setting. Like, Wonder Woman isn?t going to solve the Cuban Missile Crisis. Or hang out with Don Draper.

Here are some photos from last night?s One Love Manchester concert, the concert Ariana Grande and her people organized following the terrorist attack at Grande?s Manchester concert two weeks ago. They did not cancel the concert in the wake of the London terror attacks on Saturday. Ariana spent the weekend in Manchester, visiting her fans who are still hospitalized, and putting together this concert, which seemed to go well. There were no major glitches, and so many people came out, including: Liam Gallagher, Niall Horan, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Will.i.am, Marcus Mumford, Chris Martin, Mac Miller and more.
I just wanted to include some of the videos of the performances that brought down the house. Here?s Liam Gallagher and Chris Martin doing ?Live Forever.? I love that Liam came out.
Justin Bieber was actually really lovely to the fans. Here?s ?Cold Water.?
Katy Perry doing ?Part of Me? and ?Roar,? the two songs that little girls and grown women love to sing along with.
Chris Martin doing ?Fix Me? and ?Don?t Look Back in Anger.?
And finally, here?s Ariana doing ?Somewhere Over the Rainbow.?
This was so well-done. Props to Ariana and props to all of the other artists who came out to support Ariana, the fans and Manchester.

| Alec Baldwin defends Kathy Griffin after Trump photo scandal | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Like Jim Carrey did last week, Alec Baldwin publicly supported Kathy Griffin as the fallout increases from her extremely ill-conceived photo of her holding a bloody, ?severed,? wax head of Donald Trump. Alec, of course, is no stranger to invoking public outrage. When Bill Clinton came under fire for his handling of his Monica Lewinsky affair, Representative Henry Hyde headed up his impeachment. Alec, a militant Democrat, went on Conan O?Brien?s show and called for the citizens of the US to stone Henry Hyde to death and then stone his family. It was a joke, just like Kathy?s. And, like Kathy?s, it was a gross and terrible use of humor. So, Alec is invoking his weathering of that storm to buoy Kathy as she’s come under attack. On Saturday, he posted the following:
1- Dear Kathy Griffin,
Kathy….baby…I've been there. The whole Henry Hyde thing w Conan, where we bring out an oxygen mask at the end?
