While striking a few poses for the Fadil Berisha-shot spread, the 55-year-old actress dished about her aging beauty and how growing older has changed her way of living.

On the good effects of growing older :
"When are you 'middle aged' you have a chance for a whole second career, another love, another life. You may be sick of what you did the first half of your life, but you don't just have to walk around and play golf or do nothing. We're too young for that. It's not like fifty is the new thirty. It's like fifty is the new chapter. We know so much at this age, and people realize we're the ones with experience. We're a very colorful generation that is leading once again. People are afraid of changing, that they're losing something. They don't understand that they are also gaining something."
On thinking about having surgery on her wrinkles:
"I can't tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift. I've even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, 'What are they going to life?' Yes, I have come close - but, frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there's this sexuality to having those imperfections. It's sensual."
On her thoughts on plastic surgery:
"If you have things that you want to fix, you should go right ahead and fix them. I don't think there is anything wrong with cosmetic surgery at all. I think it's great. But I don't think it's alright to distort yourself. You can't treat an illness with cosmetic surgery, and that's why it would be great if there were qualified therapists in plastic surgeons' officers, and that people would go to a therapeutic meeting before plastic surgery. I think that should be part of the FDA requirement."

Lindsay Lohan was resistant to the idea of rehab at first because she obviously didn’t have a problem. But much like those women chained to my basement, she’s grown to love the place.
So much so that sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ that she wants to stay an extra 3 or 4 days. Lindsay feels she needs a “transition” period before re-entering the real world. She’d like to stay in a “lower level, sober living house” which she believes will help her recovery.
Per usual, sources around her are saying she’s a changed woman. “It’s like invasion of the body snatchers. She’s a different person.” Same story, different day.
Lindsay will still move to NYC when she leaves rehab but is reportedly scared of the temptations. Temptations like that necklace just sitting out in the open in the jewelry store and that drink at the club just waiting to be sipped on. “Liiiindsay… Liiiiindsay… drink me, Lindsay,” says the Vodka/Red Bull.

The ?Whole Nine Yards? starlet reportedly filed paperwork with the court, though Campbell told press the split was a ?mutual decision.?
Darius would only say, ?We decided to file for divorce and we ask for privacy at this time,? though speculation as to the reason for the breakup has already begun.
Per the official documents, Natasha and Darius have been separated since April 10th. They have no children together.

Last night’s BMW i3 launch was held in London last night, and Time magazine is calling it the “most popular electric car yet” while Wired says the car is “the most innovative thing to come out of Munich in a decade.” Supposedly, this new electric car has an extended driving range that goes up to 100 miles, which is still impractical when one considers that charging takes more time than a gas refill. Supposedly, the i3 can be recharged in 30 minutes, which is faster than most cars but just not convenient for many people.
The celebrities were all over the place on this car though — likely because they were paid for their endorsements. Sienna Miller called the i3 “the perfect city car” and said, “Being a new mother I feel it’s very important to make green choices and create a better world for the future.” I love Sienna’s cute little Dolce and Gabbana dress here so much. She always looks so good in florals, and I think my favorite photoshoots of her are the ones involving gardens. Sienna is a bit of a girlcrush, and I’m happy that she’s settled down with Tom Sturridge (and his scrunchies) because it makes her a lot more likeable than when she was letting Balthazar Getty manhandle her in random tropical settings.
Oh hey, that was James Franco in that last photo. Why was he there to promote a car? That isn’t ART. James was on hand wearing Gucci (also not ART), and it pains me to say that he looked really, really good. Ugh, Franco. Why must you make me loathe you so much?
Otherwise, the party was filled with the usual London-bound suspects. Socialites Peaches Geldof and Amber LeBon were there as well as male model Oliver Cheshire and rapper Wretch 32. Damn, it’s a shame when Franco is the best available eye candy at an event. I kind of like that Peaches always dresses slightly out of place for any given even too. Peaches doesn’t give a sh-t, and now she has an excuse for that since she’s raising two diaper-aged children.

Here we have some photos from the CW, CBS And Showtime 2013 Summer Television Critics Association party. (Kaiser covered some other attendees here.) This is getting me excited for the fall TV season. First off we have Anna Faris in a formfitting knee-length canary yellow dress with a single gold stripe down the front and sides. (I don’t have a designer ID on the dress yet.) The look is daring and I like the dress, it really flatters her. I just wish she wasn’t so heavy-handed on her eye makeup. Her eyes are way overdone, and she could have lightened up on the shadow, liner and mascara for a more flattering look.
Let’s see what Anna has coming up on TV… she has a new sitcom on CBS, created by Two and a Half Men’s Chuck Lorre, called Mom. She plays a single mother recovering alcoholic. The show will probably be dumb and a huge hit.
Also at the upfronts we have the very cute Rachel Bilson. Rachel stars on The CW’s Hart of Dixie, which comes back in early October. She’s wearing a blue, black and white sequin dress by 3.1 Phillip Lim paired with Brian Atwood shoes. It’s a striking little dress that could use some accessories.
How I Met Your Mother’s Alyson Hannigan stepped out of the 90s (which was just around the time she stopped aging) in this cranberry dress with lace overlay and a structured bustier. Did you hear that Alyson is going to renew her vows with her husband, Alexis Denisof, for their tenth anniversary? He gave her a new diamond ring and re-proposed and everything. It sounds romantic.
Lisa Kudrow stars on Showtime’s Web Therapy. I love her casual style with skinny jeans and a blazer. Can you believe she’s 50? She looks great, although that flipped up hairstyle is not doing her any favors.
Lizzy Caplan is going to be on Showtime’s Masters of Sex. I keep seeing ads for it ahead of Ray Donovan. It’s about the groundbreaking 1960s sex research team of Masters and Johnson and it premieres in September. She’s in a J. Mendel dress with Brian Atwood shoes. I really like her for some reason. She seems genuine and she’s a good actress.

Jennifer Aniston covers the September issue of Glamour to promote her new film, We?re The Millers. That?s the one where she plays a stripper and drug mule who is pretending to be a middle-aged mom. The film costars Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis ? Jason actually conducted the Glamour interview. Allegedly, they once dated, right? I think Jennifer tried to make that happen but he was all ?No, I need to bone January Jones? and Jennifer was all ?OK, maybe Bradley Cooper?? Jennifer and Jason have worked together three times now, so they are friends now. Here are some highlights from the Q&A (which you can read here):
Jason Sudeikis: One of the nice things about this movie?and we have now done three together?is that in this one we have a child. In the movie, your character is learning to access her parental instincts. I would argue women are better at that.
Jennifer Aniston: I think that’s just you! I know Justin, for instance, has extremely amazing paternal instincts. Because [growing up] he had to sort of become the parent. I think when you have to become the parent when you’re a younger person, you learn those instincts.
Jason: I noticed on set that you had very maternal instincts with [costar] Emma Roberts.
Jennifer: I did. But she’s wise beyond her years.
Jason: Is that a role that you grew into, or did you find yourself doing that all throughout your life?
Jennifer: I think I’ve done it all throughout my life.
Jason: There’s also a perception of you as being such a gal’s gal. Your ladies love you and the way you take care of people. Like, you’ll sort of point-guard parties and get-togethers.
Jennifer: I love doing that.
Jason: It comes across. I mean, truth be told, you wrote Olivia a really, really kind email last year.

Here are some photos from yesterday?s CBS/Showtime/CW Upfronts/Summer party. There were so many interesting TV people in attendance, and I wish we could cover everybody, but from what I?ve seen, many of you don?t care that much about TV people. Unless they?re the Kardashians. Ha. Anyway, there was one stand-out in attendance, mainly because I really thought that some contestants from Ru Paul?s Drag Race had crashed the party. Turns out it was just Tyra Banks and her WIG OF DOOM. OMG.
Really, though, this whole look is a hot mess. The dress is awful, her boobs are jammed in there and pushed up to an uncomfortable level. The earrings look like curtain sashes and the wig? my lord. MESS.
Pauley Perrette (from NCIS) was there. I love Pauley. Did you know she?s the most popular and beloved person on television? True story.
Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott are doing some weird CBS drama together ? he plays a Secret Service agent and she plays the president?s physician. I don?t get how that stretches out for a whole television drama, but sure.
Sarah Michelle Gellar would have been the best-dressed person at the event if her makeup was a little bit better and she had worn her hair down.
Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs do that terrible 2 Broke Girls comedy. I tried watching it once and I couldn?t believe it was actually on the air. It?s awful.

Yay! I knew when I saw those photos of Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell two weekends ago that she would give birth soon, and it?s happened! Evan and Jamie welcomed their first child together? at some point. They haven?t announced when she gave birth, but I would guess that maybe it happened over the weekend or on Monday. It?s baby season! Evan and Jamie welcomed a little boy. We don?t know the name yet.
Evan Rachel Wood is a mommy! The 25-year-old actress has welcomed her first child with husband Jamie Bell, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
“Evan Rachel Wood and her husband Jamie Bell are parents to a beautiful boy,” the rep tells Us. “Parents and baby are all doing well.”
Wood and Bell, 27, who wed in October 2012, announced they were expecting in January 2013. The Mildred Pierce actress tweeted updates to her followers throughout her pregnancy. On July 6, she wrote, “How can you be so excited to see someone you have never even met?”
The actress also previously told Us that she had to change her personal style when she found out she was pregnant. “Pants are just out the window,” she said. “I got all these maternity pants and I was just like, ‘No.’ So it’s dresses, which are kind of different for me. Pants are gone.”

Married in October? this was a honeymoon baby, right? Yes, the math works out. A baby born nine months after the wedding. How old-school! But it?s sweet, and you know I love them together. I think Jamie adores her and I think he probably calms her wildness a great deal. And now they have a son? and I was hoping they would have a girl, just because I wanted to see that. But a boy is fine. I can?t wait for the name! I bet it will be slightly unconventional but not crazy. Maybe an old Southern name, because ERW is a Southern girl and I bet she has some family names she might want to use. NOT Bubba. And not George either. Or Crumpets. Or Carlos Danger.

Olivia Wilde covers the September issue of Canada’s Fashion magazine, and she’s still making good as one half of the “oversharing couple” alongside fianc Jason Sudeikis. Sudekis recently told Elle that their sex life meant that he had “the greatest workout partner ever.” This was after Wilde claimed they “have sex like Kenyan marathon runners.” Of course, if you stop to consider that Kenyans are famous for running marathons in very short times, maybe that metaphor isn’t exactly what Olivia and Jason had in mind.
This photoshoot is kind of weird, and I guess it’s a zoo theme (?) because I see a peacock/zebra/leopard motif going on. The interview sort of makes up for it with some amusing excerpts. Once again, Olivia is rambling about how amazing Jason is (although she’s not directly fretting about whether he’ll stop loving her this time around), but she also talks about playing Chris Hemworth’s wife in Rush. (I’m sure Elsa Pataky just loved that.) In addition, Livvy drops some weird talk about how much she supposedly adores Marchesa, which makes me wonder exactly which Weinstein Co. role she’s gunning for. In confusion, I actually had to dig back into our photo agency archives for the Marchesa gown that Olivia claims to be recognized for, and she got the Globes year wrong — it was 2011, which threw me off for a few minutes. But here is the gown that people supposedly want to talk about with her on the street.
She’s so full of it, right? Not only is this dress a Marchesa confection, but it’s an utterly forgettable one at that. Although I do hope Olivia gets her movie role from Harvey because she just put on one hell of a performance in this interview. Bra-vo.

Katy Perry covers the September issue of Elle UK, and I can hear you from way over here while you are wondering why Katy’s been getting such high profile magazine covers. Last month’s Vogue seemed odd enough as a one-off. Katy’s not even really promoting anything right now — her third album is still in progress, but it has just been revealed to be titled Prism for an Oct. 22 release. The first single is rumored to be titled “Rainbow,” of course, despite Katy’s claim last year that “my music is about get real f—ing dark.” Right.
Oh well. Katy looks quite pretty on this rather uneventful cover. She’s wearing Dolce & Gabbana because she’s become quite the D&G fashion girl lately. The designers themselves appeared alongside her on the Met Gala carpet a few months ago. I do wonder how long Katy prepped for this particular photoshoot, but I suspect that the three-month Vogue window applied for Elle UK as well. The interview is kind of weird because you can tell that Katy is straining to dig into her own dirt for something slightly salacious to reveal. What does she come up with? How she wedding crashed with Rob Pattinson a few months ago, much to Kristen Stewart’s chagrin:
On Kristen Stewart: “I sent her a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits.’”
On her 1st & 2nd breakups with John Mayer: “He pulled away. That was a big hello for me. I realised I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another.”
She loves “challenging” men: “I’m not interested in taming anyone – I’m pretty wild myself.”
On on-off BFF Rihanna: “I love her and every time I see her, I’m reminded of the light that she has. There’s a lot of dark in this business. I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages – they are the root of their demise. It’s really unfortunate but you can’t save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over!”

Well, I for one am glad that Katy didn’t decide to throw Russell Brand under the bus yet again, but I guess her people probably warned her to refrain from doing so in two consecutive major magazine interviews. So do you think that anything really happened with between Katy Kat and Ol’ Sparkles? I think there was probably a lot of flirting, but Katy’s really not Rob’s type. She’s so high maintenance, and he’s used to dating chicks who wear ripped up t-shirts and never wash their hair. Plus, he’s wayyy too nice for Katy because she likes the bad boys.

Miley Cyrus … won’t stop. I guess she’s living up to the name of her ubiquitous single by doing interviews with a decent chunk of Europe in the space of just a few days. Since we last spoke of Miley, she’s gone from Germany to the UK, but I had to raid her Instagram account for some photos that we haven’t posted yet. There’s a whole ton of news bites from various Miley interviews floating around out there, and I’m going to borrow Kaiser’s bullet-point method to hit them all:
* Miley has been tweeting and deleting again, this time about Xanax. She apparently got all weepy over her jet lag and tweeted that she was “taking a zany trying to pass out” while “crying herself to sleep.” Then she followed up with “Never mind. Realized I?m just an idiot & somehow I butt tweeted my conversation. Missing home.” Then she reportedly almost missed her BILD meet & greet due to “sushi food poisoning.”
* Miley gave a weird interview to Promiflash (in Germany) and talked about how everyone is copying her hair: “Hopefully my hair grows really quick and next time you see me I’ll have a pony down to my butt. I just always want to be different. Everyone else has cut their hair to look just like me, so now I got to do something different. I don’t like when you walk in and you see a bunch of other yous.” This video of the interview is kind of hilarious because as soon as Miley complains about people copying her hair, they show a video of Elsa Pataky on the red carpet before cutting back to Miley, who giggles, “Elvis said that ‘It’s the greatest form of flattery when people copy you,’ so I agree.” (And you people thought there was nothing to this story.)
* Miley revealed to The Sun that pot is still her favorite thing in the world: “When I smoke, I don?t get the sick feeling I get when I drink, or that anger rising up. There’s a reason Bob Marley was like some kind of musical Rasta Mother Theresa!”
* Miley also told The Sun that her “We Can’t Stop” video might be sexy, but “Kids know everything under the sun. If they have an iPhone, they?re watching pr0n. Watching me grinding a little in my white leggings, it?s nothing compared to what your 12-year-old son is watching under the sheets. Siri will even tell you how to dispose of a dead body.”
* Miley asked a RTL Now camera crew about the nearest location of a “tr*nny bar.” Yes, she was totally serious.
* Miley bestowed this little gem upon UK’s “Daybreak” show: “I’ve seen karma bite so many people. I’ve been lucky because the universe has done something right for me — karmically it’s always been really good to me. I must have done something right in my past life.” She added that life will be great “if you make music because you love it and you don’t make it for any self-absorbed reasons, and you work really hard.”
Good god, I remain amazed at the sheer percentage of people (famous or not) that don’t know the actual meaning of the word “karma.” Beyond this righteous mess of a PR tour (for a freaking single, not an album), I’m shaking my head at Miley’s take on the youth of today. Sure, maybe some kids get away with watching pr0n, but I can assure you that my 12-year-old is not doing anything on the internet that isn’t closely monitored with all sorts of parental protection rules intact. Maybe I sound gullible about this sort of thing, but I know my kid, and I watch what she’s doing — and never once has she tried to pull a fast one with her time on the net. What kinds of “kids” does Miley hang out with, anyway? Yeah, I know — it’s best not to get wound up by remarks from a person who thinks that doing drugs is proof of a “grown up status.”
Oh, and here’s the official “director’s cut” of Miley’s “We Can’t Stop” video that she said the UK censors nixed. It’s got a higher butt-cheek quotient and a little more fake rebellion, but it’s about the same level of “WTF?” as the previously released version.

Here is the long-awaited cover of the September issue of Lucky. I say ?long-awaited? because we saw candid photos from the New York City photo shoot back in May, and because I actually do want to see how the magazine has re-booted itself under the leadership of Anna Wintour (Wintour was made ?Artistic Director for Conde Nast? this past spring). The cover is pretty, and it?s not as schizophrenic as the old, text-heavy Lucky covers used to be. The image of Blake is striking and it reminds me a lot of? like, 1990s magazines for young women. Not so much Seventeen, but definitely Jane and Sassy (sigh? nostalgia). Anyway, some highlights from Blake?s interview:
Cover-line: ?I don?t have a stylist. I trust myself.?
On Ryan?s style: ?I’m very lucky to be with someone who has better taste than me. We influence each other in different ways.?
Her married style: ?I was recently asked how my style has changed since I got married, as if I was living under some sort of dictatorship. I should hope I dress differently at 25 than I did when I graduated high school. I hope I never stop changing.?
The immediate gratification of her marriage: “With film and TV, you don’t see the results for months. Building a home, you get immediate gratification.”
Happy wife: “Work is important, but my greatest passion is my personal life.?
She has ?princess days?: ?That could call for wearing something totally inappropriate. Like a beaded purse and a gorgeous pair of crystal heels just to go to the grocery store.?

I haven?t noticed much of a difference in how Blake dresses now that she?s married. Her style has always been hit-or-miss as far as I?m concerned ? the biggest evolution of her style that I can see is that she?s been paying more attention to the fit and tailoring of her clothes, which is good because she used to wear stuff that was much too tight. As for her continuing insistence on not having a stylist ? I feel the same way about Duchess Kate?s insistence on not having a stylist or personal shopper or someone: if you?re in the public eye, if you?re making public appearances all the time, why would you want to waste all of that valuable time going from store to store and shopping all day long when it would just be easier to pay someone to do that for you?
As for her whole ?my greatest passion is my personal life? thing? I eyerolled at that, did anyone else? But I?m very cynical, I guess. Maybe I just don?t ?get? how deep their love is. Obviously.

Back in the early days of Gwyeth Paltrow?s Goop, I remember that every other newsletter was a Goop-tastic recommendation for some kind of asinine juice cleanse or fast or Master Cleanse or whatever. Gwyneth just seemed like she was constantly ?cleansing? or fasting, which is just a fancy way of saying that she had an eating disorder and she highly recommended fancy, expensive eating disorders to peasants. At some point, it did feel like Gwyneth stopped recommending ?cleanses? although her last cookbook did seem to border on some very extreme elimination dieting (although Gwyneth later claimed she wasn?t really recommending elimination diets, except that was exactly what It?s All Good was). Meanwhile, throughout the years, Gwyneth has grown more and more vitamin deficient, even developing anemia and osteoporosis, and she doesn?t see how all of that is connected. And she still thinks she?s so brilliant for giving all of the peasants her dieting wisdom. Well, now Goop hath spoken again.
The brilliance of her business partner Tracy Anderson: ?Keep up consistent exercise. I am dedicated to the Tracy Anderson Method and it has completely changed my body. Still, when I first started working with Tracy, finding motivation was hard. She advised me to think of exercise as an automatic routine, no different from brushing your teeth, to avoid getting distracted. Now it is part of my life.?
Her exercise regime: ?I exercise Monday to Friday at 10am and always stick with it. I?d also recommend concentrating on moving more ? we sit for so much of the day. Choose to walk or take the stairs, or briskly climb a hill in the evenings. It creates good muscle tone and boosts your metabolism.?
The dangers of cleanses: “A detox is a great place to start before a diet. My doctor, Alejandro Junger, recommends a detox once a year to rid organs of processed food and environmental toxins. His theory is that the gut (your system of digestive organs) is the root of good health. It contains about 80 per cent of your body?s serotonin ? which regulates appetite ? so you?re more likely to lose weight when it?s working properly. This year I chose the Elimination Diet, which meant no additives or processed foods for three weeks. I?ve done juice cleanses in the past, and in my twenties I did the Master Cleanse, which left me hallucinating after 10 days. Be aware: a juice detox can crash your metabolism and lead to future weight gain.?
Don?t weigh yourself: ?There is something punitive about weighing yourself. It can leave you vulnerable to shame and guilt, and it messes with you psychologically. Women naturally gain and lose weight during their monthly cycle anyway, so it can be more realistic to monitor your body shape with a measuring tape.?
Again, she still smokes one cigarette a week: ?Stay away from processed foods, though cutting them out completely is no fun and can ultimately lead to a binge. Allow yourself programmed treats ? I often have a glass of red wine in the evening and smoke a cigarette on a Saturday. I love those moments because they are just the right amount of naughty. That balance keeps you vibrant. You have to live your life, after all.?

I?m still stuck on the whole idea that she thought she was having a stroke or something and she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with anemia and severe vitamin deficiency and somehow she made that into ?go on a cleanse? starve yourself some more.? I also think it?s weird/funny/typical Goop that she adds the caveat ?a juice detox can crash your metabolism and lead to future weight gain.? OH, because that?s the reason to avoid nonsensical cleanses. Because it might make you gain a few pounds once you gorge yourself after your nonsensical cleanse. Goop?s Very Special Message To Peasants: ?Everybody should cleanse once a year because of GOOP SCIENCE but don?t come crying to Goop when you gain a few pounds after you get sick as a dog on your cleanse and have to go back to normal food.?

It's been almost a year-and-a-half since she's had a real baby bump, but Jennifer Garner is revisiting her pregnant days for her upcoming film.
On Monday (July 29), the "13 Going on 30" actress was spotted on the Los Angeles set of "Imagine," where she wore a large fake belly under a maxi dress.
The upcoming dramedy is officially described as follows: "An old letter written to him by John Lennon and Yoko Ono inspires an aging musician to live life differently, and he sets out to reconnect with his biological son."
The Dan Fogelman-written and -directed flick also stars Al Pacino and Annette Bening, and is set to hit theaters nationwide in 2014.

Also lending their star power to the Frank Coraci-directed movie are Adam Sandler, Bella Thorne, Chelsea Handler, Joel McHale, and more.

She's never been one to invite trouble, but Sandra Bullock is now being sued over watches bearing her name.
However, the "Heat" star previously filed her own complaint against ToyWatch USA for using her name and likeness without her permission.
According to TMZ, the company has an insurance policy that may cover the suit, and filed documents recently against the 49-year-old actress to try and cover themselves if her suit prevails.
If the company's insurance does cover the judgment, her payday will be all but assured, as she won't have to try and collect from ToyWatch.

Bringing an iconic song to the younger generation, Taylor Swift and Carly Simon performed the 68-year-old's hit tune, "You're So Vain."
Wowing the eager audience, the pair took the stage together at Boston's Gillette Stadium on Saturday night (July 27) to duet on the 1972 hit.
Talking about how the song will relate to her audience, Taylor told MTV News before the performance, "Every girl out there will be thinking of someone when we're singing."
"Got to sing 'You're So Vain' with Carly Simon at Gillette Stadium tonight!!!!! Unreal. I could not possibly look up to her more," Swift excitedly tweeted.
