Heidi Klum was on vacation with Henry, 7, in Oahu, Hawaii on Easter Sunday when a large riptide swept Henry away along with two nannies. According to Us, Heidi and her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kirsten “sprang into action and saved the trio from drowning.”
Klum tells Us, “We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water.”
You’re probably wondering how exactly Heidi and her boyfriend saved everyone. “Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.”
Oh, so her son actually saved himself from drowning. Thanks, mom.

Justice told press, ?The BTR boys and I have always gotten along really well so it?s going to be one big party and I?m looking forward to hitting cities I didn?t play last year.?

Jennifer Lopez was supposed to perform at the opening ceremony of India’s Premiere League cricket tournament in front of 60 million viewers on Tuesday but didn’t because she’s a spoiled little princess.
To grace the Pepsi IPL with her presence, her manager, Benny Medina, said all Jenny from the Block needed were the bare essentials. A private plane and numerous hotel rooms for her entourage, which includes stylists, assistants and a personal chef.
?The demands made on behalf of Jennifer were outrageous. She effectively priced herself out of the event. It was an idiotic move because the audience for this event is huge. It?s like the Super Bowl halftime show. Last year it drew 56 million viewers.? Page Six
Instead of giving in, they booked Pitbull who probably had more reasonable demands like one person, could be anyone, to follow him around and cheer wildly whenever he says, “Dale” and names 4 cities.

I’m a big “Hart of Dixie” fan, and I blame (thank really) The Fug Girls for turning me on to it. It’s a cheesy, predictable show but it has really likable characters set in an ideal southern small town, and it’s so charming. So that’s why I’m fond of Rachel Bilson, she plays the lead character, Dr. Zoe Hart, a New York city-based young doctor transplanted to the fictional town of Bluebell. She’s not a fabulous actress, but she’s cute and charming too, and I remember her well from The O.C. (Loved that show!)
All of that is preface to this Cosmo interview and cover with Bilson, in which they’ve released only a few quotes out of context. She comes across as annoying and kind of pollyanna-ish, but we don’t know what questions she was asked. Like maybe they asked her “Do you consider yourself a good girlfriend? Do you cook much?” Because otherwise her answers are sort of one-note:
Bilson on how she and boyfriend, Hayden Christensen, spend their free nights: ?I love to cook, so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies.?
Bilson on having kids: ?I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future ? I hope.?
Bilson on being a good girlfriend: ?I?m a really good girlfriend ? I always put all that first in my life. I?m definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to.?
Bilson on what she wears for a hot date: ?Guys are so visual. I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt.?
Bilson?s response to a Cosmo Quiz question: If I could do a karaoke duet with anyone, it would be ?Eminem?, and we would sing ?anything. I secretly want to be a rapper.?

She sounds to me like her character on Hart of Dixie, or maybe I have a hard time separating her from Zoe Hart. The stuff about guys being visual sounds like something Zoe would say, like advice she would give to her little teenage friend, Rose. Zoe is always wearing tiny dress shorts after all.
The other stuff, about how she’s a great girlfriend and puts her boyfriend first is also something that Zoe would say. I swear that was a plot for the show one week, when Zoe was trying to support Wade and being super agreeable and it just backfired on her since Wade found her bizarre. In that context, these quotes make sense. Plus it’s Cosmo, they’ve been working to appeal to a younger audience and they may have coached Rachel, or otherwise distilled her quotes into the most basic. “Put your boyfriend first! Cook for him! Wear tight dresses and short skirts!” I hope Rachel is more nuanced than this, because even her goofy show acknowledges that this kind of attitude can only get you so far.
Getting back to Rachel, she’s been with Hayden Christensen since at least 2007 and they got engaged in 2009, broke up in 2010, and then got back together in 2011. So maybe Rachel is angling for a ring again with all this talk about babies and how she’s a great girlfriend. I don’t know much about Hayden except that he’s a homebody and lives on a farm. If Zoe pressured her down-home boyfriend to propose, it would backfire.

Jennifer Garner was interviewed in Britian’s Telegraph to promote the UK release of The Odd Life of Timothy Green, which is out there on Friday. (I lived in Europe for a while and it’s maddening how long it takes movies to premiere.) It’s a nice, long interview and profile, which is what the British press excels at. The interviewer must have had a good rapport with Garner, or maybe she was just ready to spill her guts, because she seemed to open up about a lot of things: the paparazzi, her husband’s controversial Oscar speech, and how it feels to be a celebrity.
Note that some of the interview is translated into “Brit speak,” they have her say “mum” instead of “mom” and some of it is phrased in a distinctly British way that makes it sound made up. It’s clear that she met with their reporter at least, and it’s possible that some of her quotes were switched around for their audience. Here’s

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Paris yesterday (I think). Fame/Flynet says they went to Paris for a ?weekend getaway? and they went to dinner at Ferdi and went shopping at Bonpoint. This is the first time Kim and Kanye have been photographed together in a while ? I believe Kim made her New York trip last week without him, and it had gotten to the point where people were really asking, ?Damn, where?s ?Ye??
Well, here he is. He hasn?t abandoned her. He isn?t over her. Although? his body language and expressions in these photos aren?t exactly that of a man who is enjoying his girlfriend?s pregnancy. Kanye looks like a dude who bit off more than he can chew. My theory is that Kanye actually isn?t bothered at all by Kim?s weight gain or anything superficial like that ? but he might be bothered by her family, by her famewhore ways, by all of the Kardashian sketchiness.
As for Kim?s size? my problem was always with the way she was dressing her bump and with her lies (or what I felt were her lies) about her size. Like, Kim is wearing glorified track pants in these photos, but I guess I should be happy because she finally looks sort of comfortable. But I guess I need to put on Kardashian-conspiracy tin-foil hat, because I haven?t gone off the deep end like The Enquirer, which claims that Kim is totally faking her pregnancy:

A fake pregnancy cleans up a lot of problems all at once and garners Kim sympathy.
?It also would be an insane coincidence that Kim just so happened to get pregnant soon after she learned the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush ? Lilit Avagyan ? is pregnant.

It?s gotten to the point where Vanity Fair?s ?dead celebrity? issues are something of a joke within media circles. It?s like VF thinks there are no interesting living celebrities so a few times a year, they promote some ?never before told? story about the Kennedys, or Marilyn Monroe or Elizabeth Taylor or something. I?ve lost count of how many Kennedy and Marilyn covers Vanity Fair has run over the past four years. So for the May issue, VF decided to do another dead-celebrity cover, this time with Audrey Hepburn. Now, I LOVE Audrey, and I?ve read a couple of biographies about her, so why do I feel icky about this cover? I don?t know. It just seems like dead-celebrity fetishism on Vanity Fair?s part. The gist of the cover story is that they?re interviewing Audrey?s son Luca, who is working on a book about his mom?s love affair with Rome.
?She didn?t live a life secluded or behind bars; she would walk around and everybody knew her. She was part of the city. The majority of these photos are in the streets,? Audrey Hepburn?s son Luca Dotti tells Vanity Fair?s Laura Jacobs about the time his mother spent in Rome. To prepare for his new book Audrey in Rome, Dotti gathered some 2,500 photos from the archives of the Reporters Associati that capture his mother throughout the Eternal City. Dotti says what struck him the most was that ?even in these candid shots she was always herself?perfect.?
Reflecting on his mother?s signature style, evidenced in many of the images in the book, Dotti remembers that scarves were her vice. ?Well, it wasn?t like Imelda Marcos and shoes,? he says. ?She had, like every woman, maybe 30 or 40. It was a good way to be in disguise, big sunglasses and a scarf. Occasionally she was able to do her shopping without having all the crowds behind.?
Hepburn?s iconic look was, according to her son, what she thought of as ?a good mixture of defects.? Dotti explains, ?She thought she had a big nose and big feet, and she was too skinny and not enough breast. She would look in the mirror and say, ?I don?t understand why people see me as beautiful.? ?
He also remembers that aging never scared Hepburn. ?She was always a little bit surprised by the efforts women made to look young,? Dotti recalls. ?She was actually very happy about growing older because it meant more time for herself, more time for her family, and separation from the frenzy of youth and beauty that is Hollywood. She was very strict about everybody?s time in life.? Though, adds Dotti, ?The only big regret I have, and she would have had, is not knowing her grandchildren. Because she would have been a fantastic grandmother?cooking cakes, keeping the grandchildren on every occasion, and telling them stories.?
Of his parents? marital struggles, Dotti says, ?This is a speculation I?m making, but also a fact. She was 40 [when she married] but at the same time so much older than 40 because of all the success and history behind her. And my father was 10 years younger. To be around a woman who has been an icon for many years, and you?re a young doctor, for a man it makes a difference. If that equation was reversed, if my father was the one 10 years older and a little bit more secure, it would have probably worked out better.?
When asked in what way his mother remains most physically present in his life, Dotti says, ?Through scent.? Not perfume, but ?the light sensation of a smell,? Dotti says his mother preferred. ?We joked a lot together about the fact that both she and I have a very good sense of smell. So there are certain scents, you know, a certain cake, or a flower, things like that. It?s not so physical, but it?s powerful. And every spring, especially here in Rome, you have this smell of orange blossom in the air. Spring is coming and it was her favorite season. It makes me think of her.?

Sigh? this reminds me of my dad. My dad loved Audrey. Audrey and Ingrid Bergman were his favorite actresses. I always think that?s interesting about Audrey ? men absolutely adored her. I love Maxwell Drew Johnson?s little duckface. She has a natural duckface! Such a pouty little girl. Hopefully in 18 years, she?ll get with Samuel Affleck, who also has a natural duckface. Anyway, these are just some nice photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric and Maxi out for a walk on Easter morning in Toluca Lake. Jessica is covering her bump in Eric?s Yale sweatshirt, a pair of shorts and a pretty nice-looking pair of kicks. Are those Nikes? I?ve had a recent bad run on quality sneakers ? even when I buy Nike or Reebok, the heels keep falling apart in, like, two months. Any recommendations would be welcome!
Speaking of heels, did you know that Jessica has had to give up her beloved high heels again? At this point in her first pregnancy, Jessica was still traipsing around LA in sky-high heels, but not with this pregnancy. A source told Us Weekly, “Jessica is no longer wearing heels. Her feet are swollen and hurt, and high heels hurt her back.” And Jessica was tweeting last week about ?practicing walking in flats around my house.? Because apparently that?s something you have to practice now?
Jessica and her family were together for Easter at her mom?s home in Toluca Lake. Tina Simpson is renting the house from Jennifer Love Hewitt for $12,500 a month, which sounds like a really crazy rental, right? Maybe Jessica is paying for all of her mom?s stuff now because Joe Simpson can?t have any access to the finances because he?ll just blow it all on hair product and 20-something gay hustlers.
You know Jessica is due around the same time as Duchess Kate and Kim Kardashian, right? I bet it will be like a row of dominos, they?ll all give birth within like 10 days of each other. Who will be first? Jessica or Kim? I feel like Kate will be last of the triad ? she?ll cross her legs and make sure that the baby doesn?t come out until Kim?s baby is a few days old.

Tom Cruise and Olga Kurylenko are busily promoting Oblivion in international markets before heading to the United States for lift city. We saw Tom grinning in Rio de Janiero late last week, and yesterday was the big Russian tour in Moscow. Do you think this movie will do any serious business? I think it might do fine overseas, but I think the American public has had enough of Tom for awhile. Basically, I think this movie might make a modest amount of money in the states but will only be redeemed by foreign grosses just like Jack Reacher fared. Yet Oblivion honestly doesn’t look like a very interesting take on alien invasion despite Morgan Freeman’s voice, and when I think of aliens and Tom Cruise, well, Xenu comes to mind. I guess we’ll see what happens on April 19, right?
Sadly, we don’t have photos of the actual premiere where Olga wore a pretty, light blue Elie Saab dress, and Tom dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit (he actually looked kind of sharp too). However, we do have these pictures from the earlier photocall, which Tom attended in his one of his well-worn sweater and jeans combos while poor Olga had to dress up much more. She wore a Stella McCartney dress with Louboutin shoes, and the dress doesn’t look as bad as many Stella designs. The fabric is interesting if a bit too carpet-y, and the bell-shaped sleeves are fun. Overall, the dress is quite flattering to Olga’s figure from the front, but side views reveal an ill-fitting mess because the dress hasn’t been tailored very well.
By the way, I know Tom is probably pouring on the charm for the photogs, but I wouldn’t worry about him putting the moves on Olga when the flashbulbs disappear. Remember, his team already tried to link Tom with Olga when news of his divorce broke, and Olga’s people immediately shut that sh-t down. Besides, Tom is probably still waiting for Julianne Hough to return his calls.
Now for a Suri update: If you’re wondering what Suri’s been up to lately, she spent Easter in NYC with Katie Holmes and wore a lovely Easter dress. It also seems that Suri gave herself a haircut too. Those bangs look just like the ones that my daughter gave herself in kindergarten. Yes, I was seriously bummed when it happened, but I took lots of photos for future blackmail purposes. I can only hope Katie did the same.

Keeping herself busy in the acting front, Jennifer Garner is in talks to join Ivan Reitman's upcoming film ?Draft Day.?
According to Variety, the ?Odd Life of Timothy Green? star would play the secretary of Kevin Costner?s football general manager character.
A comedy, the film is follows the general manager of the Buffalo Bills and his great lengths to secure his top pick in the NFL draft.

Heading back home after spending the holiday weekend with her family, Britney Spears arrived at Louis Armstrong Airport in New Orleans on Monday (April 1).
The "Scream & Shout" singer was dressed casually in a light blue blouse, denim cutoffs, and flip-flops as she made her way through the terminal with her two boys, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
On Sunday, the 31-year-old former "X-Factor" judge spent the day with her family. Along with sister Jamie Lynn and her fiance Jamie Watson, the whole crew met up at church in Kentwood, Louisiana.
However, there was one member of the family that couldn't make the trip. On Sunday, Brit tweeted, "Happy Easter! Blessed to be spending the day with my family back home (...missing my little @hannahspears though, she doesn't like to fly.)," referring to her tiny Yorkie pup.

With arms laden with her daughter's things, Jennifer Garner dropped off Violet Affleck at daycare in Pacific Palisades, California on Monday (April 1).
The "Butter" star smiled at her little one in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black warm-up pants, and white sneakers while her happy girl donned a Pink sweatshirt and gray skirt.
Recently, the 40-year-old wife of Ben Affleck spoke to The Telegraph about family life and being a working mom.
Sharing how they divide their time, Jen says, "I definitely work less because Ben is so busy but we have three kids, that?s just part of the deal. I want to be a mum. I?m happy for him that he?s as energised about work right now as he is. He should be out there doing it. That's just what makes sense for our family."

What was supposed to be a relaxing, fun day at the beach to celebrate the Easter holiday turned into a horrific close call for Heidi Klum and her family.
The "Project Runway" host, along with boyfriend Martin Kristen and her four children, were all enjoying soaking up the sun while vacationing in Oahu, Hawaii on Sunday (March 31).
Klum's oldest son, 7 year-old Henry, was out swimming in the ocean with one of his nannies when a large riptide pulled the pair out to sea.
With her maternal instincts taking over, the 39 year-old supermodel and Kristen sprang into action to help save the duo from drowning.
"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water," Heidi told Us Weekly, adding, "Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
