She may have been doused in glitter while making her arrival, but the scene inside the Los Angeles courtroom was anything but pretty for Lindsay Lohan.
The 26 year-old troubled actress, who arrived 48 minutes late for her court appearance, decided to take a plea deal on Monday (March 18) which includes 90 days in locked down rehab facility.
With her attorney Mike Heller sitting by her side, Lindsay pled ?no contest? to charges of reckless driving and lying to police, which stems from an accident in Santa Monica almost six months ago.
Aside from her days in rehab, Lohan was also ordered to complete 30 days of community labor and 18 months of psychological counseling (which she has already begun).
The "Mean Girls" star also lucked out as she has once again avoided jail time. LiLo was given a 5 day lock up sentencing today, but the time behind bars will now be cancelled out due to her residential rehab stint.

Okay, so Lindsay Lohan arrived 50 minutes late to her court trial, which was supposed to start at 8:30 am PST. After she arrived, I think she just sat in her seat and waited while her NY lawyer and her new LA lawyer (who is kind of hot, by the way) spoke to the judge with the prosecution about a plea deal. Literally three hours later, they had finally worked out a plea deal. Which is funny because the prosecution had allegedly offered LL a deal weeks ago which was a lot more lenient than the one she just accepted, so it seems her cracked-out legal strategy failed. I guess she was also surprised that the prosecution was ready to, you know, PROSECUTE her for the charges they brought. So here are the basics of what just happened:
*Lindsay pleaded ?no contest? to two of the three charges, which is basically saying ?Yeah, I did that but I?m not going to come out and say it and you can just punish me for it.?
*Lindsay will spend 90 days in ?lock-down rehab?. Meaning that she will not get ?day passes? to go out drinking. Allegedly. She was also given 5 days of jail, but her jail time has been ?folded? into her rehab stay, meaning she won?t have to go to jail at all. Also, LL can do her rehab in New York.
*Lindsay will need to perform 30 days of community labor after her lockdown rehab. She will also need to have 18 months of therapy, and her lawyer said that she already started two months ago, so it will be 16 months of rehab or something.
*Lindsay is required to submit to drug testing and to stay away from drug users (hahaha). The judge also told her ?don?t drive?. But that?s not part of her sentence, of course, because of course she?s allowed to terrorize the streets of LA and NYC. She?s the Cracken!
*As for her probation? I didn?t really understand what happened there. TMZ says ?she’s also admitted to a probation violation in the jewelry heist case, she was sentenced to 180 days in jail, but that sentence was STAYED and she won’t do time if she continues to obey all laws.? That to me seems like the legal equivalent of ?a friendly pat on the firecrotch?. How could she be sentenced to 180 days in jail for obviously violating her probation but the jail sentence is ?stayed? because? why again? Because she?s a white woman with big boobs?
So, basically, LL strikes again. I have hope that ?lock-down rehab? is more hardcore than I?m imagining, but let?s face it ? LL will probably get to go to some country-club rehab and Dina will smuggle in some Jim Beam. Same old same old.
PS? Don?t even ask me about the disco outfit to court. She?s so ridiculous. And this is one of the reasons she was late! She had to change into this horrible outfit. And her lips are flat-out disgusting.
PPS… Mark Heller is calling this a “validation of her sobriety”. And now Michael Lohan is trying to fist-fight him. And now Michael is telling the press that Heller is being investigated for witness tampering (Gavin?) and that Michael is going to try to get Heller disbarred or something.

Showing up 48 minutes late to her trial after missing two flights from NYC to LA, Lindsay Lohan, despite adamantly refusing any plea deal, took a plea deal in court this morning.
While she won’t be going to jail, she’ll spend 90 days in rehab with no sort of day passes. Her rehab career will now be longer than her film career. Lindsay will also need to perform 30 days of community labor and undergo psychotherapy for 18 months.
Even though there’s a mandatory 5 day in jail for reckless driving, she won’t be serving it because it’s been included in her rehab. Lindsay will be able to do rehab in NYC but must submit to drug testing.
Lindsay also admitted to violating her probation. For that, she was sentenced to 180 days in jail but once again, she won’t have to serve it if she continues to obey all laws.
So what did Lindsay learn today? Absolutely nothing except that she can get away with practically anything and the worst that will happen is a 3 month vacation at a fancy rehab. Mark my words, 90 days from now it’s going to be a new Lindsay!

Miranda Kerr covers the April issue of Vogue Australia, and I?m not wild about the editorial at all. The idea is fine, I guess ? just use one of Australia?s most famous model exports in a minimalist pictorial in which she styled with ?old Hollywood? glamour. But the execution is off, I think? This just reminds me that I don?t really think much of Miranda as a model ? it?s like she thinks her left side is her best side and she refuses to take any photos of her right side. It seems amateurish. My favorite shot is the one where she?s got red lips and she?s wearing the ruby earrings.
There aren?t many interview excerpts so far, but the one quote I?ve seen is? odd. Miranda apparently discusses her habit of posting photos of herself on Instagram and Twitter within the interview, and she claims that she has tons of followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (which is true, she does). She says so many people love her on social media because ?I feel like people really appreciate it when you are authentic.? Er?? I?m guessing that most of her followers are dudes who like the many photos she posts of herself in her underwear?? Maybe? Is that about authenticity or is it about dudes liking to look at a pretty model?
Meanwhile, did you hear that Miranda got into a car crash last week? Her spokesperson said ?She was rear-ended? She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious.” Miranda was walking around LA wearing a neck brace and she seemed to be moving stiffly. Poor girl.

I’m going to come clean and admit that I didn’t make it through 50 Shades of Grey. I got about to the middle of the book, and there were parts that were definitely sexy but the payoff didn’t seem worth it. It honestly took me too long to figure out the difference between inner goddess and subconscious. (I feel dumb about that, but my excuse it that those terms were brought up so much that I started tuning them out.) Plus when Anastasia broke up with Christian Grey I just was like “good” but of course he was a stalking freak and it didn’t end there. I was pissed off at how much she put up with, and I kept thinking about how I would never get with that guy. My mom loved the book though, she’s more of a reader than I am, and she reads higher quality material than I bother to attempt. So there’s a recommendation from someone whose opinion I highly respect.
BUT this book is such a phenomenon, so many people love it and it’s going to be a huge money-making franchise. So any actress should theoretically jump at the chance to play the lead. That’s not the case with Emma Watson. As background, the group Anonymous took credit for hacking the servers of German film company Constantin film. They posted a list of email addresses and logins to the company’s server, which included some details about projects that they’re working on. The leaked documents supposedly contained the news that Emma Watson was set to star in the 50 Shades adaption, but she shot that down real quick:

The Harry Potter star made it clear she’s not interested in headlining the sexy adapted film, in spite of reports she was cast in the lead role.

Reports hit the web Friday that the 22-year-old thesp was set to star as Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated film, after a hacker team hacked into the internal server of German studio Constantin Film, stealing a document that reportedly showed that Watson was attached to the film.
A source told E! News, however, that in spite of the supposed hacking, casting for the film has not even started yet.

I don’t really get why Emma is so gung-ho on never playing this role. Sure it’s trashy, but it will be fun and so lucrative. It’s going to be an R movie, it will be racy but it’s not like it will be softcore or NC-17. There will be some nudity required of the female lead probably, and we know she hasn’t done any on screen. Maybe that’s why she’s so against it. Plus it’s not like she needs the money. She’s a multi-millionaire after the Harry Potter films and never has to work another day in her life if she doesn’t want it. She can be super picky about the roles she takes and she’s all “no, never.”
There’s talk that Mila Kunis could be the lead, and I think she’s a decent choice but she’s not innocent enough somehow. As Kaiser always says, they should cast this off the CW. I think Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder should star. He’s got that creepy way about him and she can look young and naive. Plus they’re a real life couple! I wouldn’t feel guilty about seeing this played out with the two of them. It’s fitting somehow, with the origins of the book as well.

Hahahaha. Lindsay Lohan is due in court today to begin The Great Crack Trial of 2013, but it?s looking more and more like she?s not going to make it, or she won?t make it on time. Here is a rundown of everything that?s happened in the past 24 hours:
*Yesterday, Lindsay was in New York and she boarded a private plane because OMG how does she afford a private plane?!!? She was originally planning to fly back to LA on Saturday, but those plans were scrapped.
*And then after boarding the private plane, ?she decided to get off and she left her bags behind.? ?Sources close to Lindsay? (re: Lindsay) told TMZ that she believed ?there was a problem with the plane? like a fuel leak or something. The 35 other people on the plane also de-boarded too. Sources claimed Lindsay just sat in the airport lounge, calling and texting all of her johns, asking if anyone had a private plane she could borrow because heaven forbid she travel commercial, right?
*But TMZ notes that the plane did fly after an hour delay, and the plane stopped in Vegas to refuel before continuing to LA.
*Eventually, Lindsay managed to blow her way onto another private plane, this one funded by Mr. Pink energy drink (which LL crack-promotes). TMZ says that the plane is scheduled to land in Van Nuys at 8:11 PST, and the courthouse is 20 minutes away. And she?s due in court at 8:30 PST. Basically, she?s definitely going to be late and the judge could issue a bench warrant.
*Her assistance Gavin is on the flight with her. Gavin was one of the people who ?rolled? on her to the cops, and by that we mean that the cops asked him what happened and Gavin answered honestly.
*The prosecution is not amused by all of Lindsay?s crack shenanigans. They will be asking the judge to ?throw the book? at LL and sentence her to 240 days in jail for lying to the cops (when she gave her statement after her PCH accident). If and when she?s found guilty, the City Attorney is also going to get involved and ask for a jail sentence because she?s violated her probation. And if she?s convicted, her probation will be extended another two years, so? yeah. She really needs to be found guilty.
*The court proceedings should begin around 11:30 EST/8:30 PST. This is your Open Post for the Crack Festivities and we?ll be updating or doing new posts later (or tomorrow) depending on what?s happening.

These are just some cute photos of Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck and their kids out yesterday. Jen went out grocery shopping with Seraphina and Samuel earlier in the day, and then the whole family was spotted out later at a park in Brentwood. It looks like she changed one year-old Samuel into some sweats for their outing to the playground. That knit cap he’s wearing there is so cute, I wonder if one of his grandmothers made it for him. Also, Ben clipped down his beard somewhat and is back to his original hotness.

Garner is so chic and casual here in her green skinny jeans, white sweater and green and white striped scarf. That’s a great outfit and looks effortless yet well put together. Garner has a partnership/sponsorship deal with Neutrogena, I’ve seen her ads for their skincare quite a few times. As part of her promotional duties, she spoke to People Magazine about making sure her kids wear sunblock. She also admitted to bribing them with M&Ms when necessary.
?Of course it?s a struggle!? the actress, 40, tells PEOPLE Wednesday at the Neutrogena Sun Summit. ?The kids do not like getting sunscreen put on, especially at at a certain age, at least not mine. If you have kids out there who like sunscreen, hallelujah!?
Garner, who admits she luckily missed out on the ?major baking-in-the-sun years? by mostly staying inside when she was younger, wants to ensure that her children with husband Ben Affleck ? Violet, 7, Seraphina, 4, and Samuel, 1 ? also avoid future skin damage by educating them about the dangers.
?We talk about skin health, and they know why they have to wear sunscreen,? she says. ?If someone forgets, they?ll say ?Hey, did you forget to put sunscreen on me???

And Garner admits she?s not above rewarding her kids for remembering their sunscreen.

My son is pretty good about letting me put on sunblock, but I understand the bribing thing. I’ve totally done it. (I don’t do it all the time, but I’m not going to act like I never do!) I’m sure there are parenting experts who would say that it’s wrong and harmful and the lesson is lost or something, but sometimes you just have to get the job done.
This reminds me of an episode of “Parenthood” where Julia (Erika Christensen) asks her sister-in-law, Kristina (Monica Potter), for parenting advice after she adopted a 10 year-old boy and can’t get him to do his homework. Kristina states very bluntly that she bribes her own son with Skittles and explains why there’s no shame in it. I get it, I really do.
I just made the mistake of googling “should you bribe your kids” and at first it made me feel like a terrible mom, but then I learned some strategies to be a more effective briber. I mean parent.

Here are some new photos of Taylor Swift over the weekend in LA ? the costume changes are because she was literally changing costumes because she was filming a new music video. I?m sure the Swifty fans could tell you what her new single is, but I cannot. Swifty JUST released ?22? as her third single and music video off of Red, so?? You?re guess is as good as mine. I know that Swifty has been pretty annoying lately, but these photos have given me a serious case of jealousy for her legs. She has those long, coltish legs that are just a gift of genetics. I will never have those legs. Sigh.
In other Swifty news, you know how she seemed to mock Harry Styles in particular during her performance of ?We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together? at the Grammys? Part of the song has a speaking part where Swifty does a put-on dude?s voice, and during that part, Swifty made her dude?s voice sound ?English?. This came just a month or so after Harry (reportedly) dumped her (although Swifty?s version events was slightly different in her epic Vanity Fair interview). Then Swifty performed at the BRIT Awards, singing ?I Knew You Were Trouble?? while Harry was sitting there in the audience! So of course when Swifty was asked about what that was like, she provided us more insight into her soul:
She is famous for writing songs about her menagerie of famous ex-boyfriends. And it seems the subject of Taylor Swift’s most recent failed relationship is no exception. The 23-year-old singer has finally revealed her 2012 hit single I Knew You Were Trouble is about her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.
Speaking about her spirited performance at the 2012 Brit Awards in front of Harry and his One Direction bandmates, the singer was asked how she felt performing the number while her ex was watching.
Taylor told The Sunday Times: ‘Well, it?s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is directed at is standing by the side of the stage watching.’
Speculation had been rife that Taylor had penned the song about the One Direction star when they first briefly dated in Spring 2012, and the star appeared to confirm the rumours were true in the interview with The Sunday Times magazine.
Speaking about her performance of the song at this year’s Brit Awards where she stripped down to a sultry black outfit, she said: ‘You?re balancing the analytical side of your brain which is telling you where to go and how to go there, with the other side of your brain, which is saying “Feel everything you?re singing, and show it on your face. Feel everything exactly as you felt it when you wrote the song.”‘

Hahaha, I thought she didn?t ever, ever discuss which songs were about which spurned ex? Oh, well! She does this all the time ? she plays coy and uptight, claiming that she won?t discuss who the songs are about or who broke her heart, but then she?ll drop enough hints so that every song is pretty much an obvious blind item. So now we know ?Trouble? was always about Harry Styles? I really thought it was about John Mayer. Truly. Because HOW could the song not be about him? There should be sirens going off whenever he speaks to a woman – ?RED ALERT JOHN MAYER IS A D-BAG RED ALERT RED ALERT?. But sure, now we know ? it?s about Harry. Poor Harry.

At this year’s SAGs ceremony, one of the very worst red carpet turns came from Kaley Cuoco’s awful bangs disaster as she supported her fellow “Big Bang Theory” cast members. This was, to quote Kaiser, a textbook case of “bangs trauma.” Kaley’s saccharine-sweet, red lace Romona Kevesa dress wasn’t the best choice either, but let’s be honest here and acknowledge that Kaley could have worn the most amazing dress out there, and her bangs would have ruined everything.
I’m not full-on anti-bang like Kaiser is, but I think most people look better without them. Some obvious exceptions are Reese Witherspoon and Zooey Deschanel, who can really rock bangs. But I think Kaley’s face shape isn’t well suited for bangs, and even worse — these were cheap, clip-on bangs. Clip-on bangs almost never look good and always look out of place. I remember quite vividly that Katie Holmes made the mistake of wearing clip-ons at last year’s VF Oscar party, but she might have been attempting to divert everyone’s attention from her ill-fated marriage to Tom Cruise at that point.
Back to Kaley, who has received everyone’s message loud and clear: no more bangs for her! She admits that she only wore the clip-ons as a means of covering up a black eye, and she says that if given the choice next time, she’ll totally go with a black eye instead:
Kaley Cuoco is used to receiving accolades, but after wearing controversial bangs to the 2013 SAG Awards, the actress learned how it feels to be panned.
“I got reamed a new A-hole,” The Big Bang Theory star, 27, told PEOPLE on Wednesday at The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo’s Most Powerful Stylists luncheon. “I will never do that again! That was my faux pas, and because of that, they hated everything: the [Romona Keveza] dress, my shoes, everything.”
She swears the bangs were supposed to serve a purpose: “I had a black eye, so we were trying to hide it,” she says. “Next time, if you’re going with a black eye or bangs, go with the black eye.”
But at the time she made the decision, there was no stopping her.
“I know what I want, so even if everyone said ‘Bangs don’t look great,’ I loved them,” she said at the West Hollywood Soho House event, dressed in a colorful McGinn ensemble. “I think that on the carpet, they read worse than they did at home … I just accepted it and made fun of myself and moved on. You show up at the next one and you look fabulous and fine and they make fun of someone else.”

Poor Kaley. Many of us experiment with hair styles and have experienced at least one style that has resulted in tears, but most of us haven’t had to live it down after a red carpet disaster. Hopefully, the entire world will someday be able to forget those awful bangs.

We?ve seen maxi dresses. We?ve seen mullet dresses. But have we seen sideburn dresses before? I have no idea what the official name for this is ? a dress that?s short in the front AND the back but long at the sides. But I like ?sideburn dress?. I will also accept ?muttonchop dress?. I?m sure I?ve seen variations on sideburn dresses before now, but not quite like this. Never on a pregnant Kim Kardashian wearing flats and an oversized blazer (with rolled sleeves – so Miami Vice) with bangs and a blowout, just going out for ice cream. WTF? This whole ensemble is so bizarre. Quite honestly, when I first saw these pics, I thought Kim was doing some kind magazine photo shoot or something. But no. She just put this outfit together and thought it looked great. Because of course.
Are you guys still in love with her bangs? I think you like them just to spite me! Like, I?m so fervently opposed to bangs that you guys just have a knee-jerk defense of any celebrity?s bangs because you’re nicer than me. While I agree that the bangs soften Kim?s Botox-face (truth!), I still think she looked better without. The dirty little secret about bangs is that more often than not, they make your face look fuller, which isn?t the best idea when you?re gaining weight from a pregnancy, you know?
Also – Kim went to Atlanta for the premiere of Tyler Perry’s Temptation – you can see the photos here. We don’t have access to them, which isn’t that big of a deal. From what I gather, the event was pretty much at Tyler’s mansion, which is kind of weird. Kim has a small part in the film, and she even has a line in the trailer.

We have 20 million new photos of LeAnn Rimes in London over the weekend (she complained a lot about the time difference on Twitter), so I?m just selecting a handful for this post. She was in town to perform at the Country to Country music festival, which includes performances by Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood too. Do you think Carrie Underwood and LeAnn get along? I doubt it. Well, I doubt Carrie gets along with most women in general, and if put LeAnn in that mix? no. No, they would not get along. Anyway, while LeAnn was in town, she did some advanced press for her album release, which is April Fool?s Day in England (ha). She appeared on the show ?Loose Women? and the Mail has some excerpts:
She isn’t the first to fall for a married man and now LeAnn Rimes has opened up about her affair with her now husband Eddie Cibrian. The 30-year-old singer has that beginning a relationship with Eddie when she was still married to her first husband Dean Sheremet gave her a lot to write about for her new album.
Speaking on chat show Loose Women on Tuesday LeAnn said: ‘We were both married to other people and we went through the whole affair and thank god it turned out, it came out in my music and I like I said I really didn?t set out to do that. It was very cathartic.’
When asked if that was the reason she had taken so long with a new album the singer replied: ‘No life happens and it was amazing, even though it was crappy at times, but it gave me a lot to write about and I took my time.’
The Blonde singer also admitted that the songs are her side of the story after facing strong public criticism from Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville.
She said: ‘I wrote nine of the 13 songs on the record. It’s personal but at the same time I feel like I’m not the only one that has been through what I’ve been through. I’m telling my story. I feel like there’s been a piece of tape over my mouth for a while, you know growing up in this business is a weird way to grow up and you try to please everyone else and this time around I feel like I’ve nothing to lose by telling the truth. And it felt very liberating.’
One song on the album What Have I Done is entitled Borrowed and it discusses the ugly side of the period she calls a ‘dark time’.
She said: ‘My single ‘Borrowed’ is kind of takes an in-depth look into that situation and it wasn’t pretty. And I think it was so honest to that song that it kind of opened up a door. Nothing is off limits on this album and it’s opened up a door for me as an artist in so many ways just to be that honest and real.’
LeeAnn and Eddie met in 2009 while appearing on Northern Lights together and subsequently left their partners and filed for divorce.

What else is there to say about this mess that I haven?t said hundreds of times before? I mean, LeAnn is a raging narcissist, of course, but it still kind of blows me away that she consistently acts and feels like she was the most ?wronged party? out of the whole situation. Like, she and Eddie had an affair (?thank god it turned out? ? WTF?) and at the end of the day, she thinks that she?s a bigger victim than Brandi (and everyone else) because the poor baby felt like ?there’s been a piece of tape over my mouth for a while????? How in the world can she feel that way when the past four years have involved incessant interviews, press, television appearances and let?s not forget, TWITTER. She got her side of the story out. The issue is that people still don?t think she?s any kind of victim.
Also: I?ll say something nice ? her bangs look much better in these photos. I think it?s because someone added some longer fringe at the sides and LeAnn is doing them more “sideswept”.

Yesterday, I covered the barely-there excerpts from Gwyneth Paltrow?s Self Magazine interview ? I only had four little sentences to work with, but I managed to do a full post on Goop?s insufferable attitude. Gwyneth sat down with the Mail on Sunday?s weekend magazine to discuss her life and her cookbook and there?s just so much information in here? you can read the full (exhaustive) piece here, and here are some highlights:
Wanting a third child: ?My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I?m thinking about it. But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn?t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ?Are we good here or should we go back and try again???
Chris is a good father: ?Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father? he is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support.?
Banning dairy, eggs, sugar, corn, wheat, gluten, potatoes, tomatoes, red meat, shell or deep-water fish from her family?s diet: ?I was a mess. I was vitamin-D deficient, I had anaemia, I had thyroid issues, my liver was congested, I had hormonal imbalances and a benign tumour on my ovary that had to be removed ? I mean, it was crazy. I knew it was time for change. Creating a meal for my friends and family, sitting together, eating, laughing and talking ? that is when I am so happy. Oh my God, if you could see how much food I make ? I am the original Jewish mother. Making meals from these new recipes that look, smell and taste like the food I always cooked but are also super-healthy is an added joy.?
She still drinks a lot: ?Oh God, I do that, too. Every day. I really like a martini or a glass of red wine in the evening. I think it?s a really nice way to say, ?OK, it?s adult time now.? Having lived in England for so long, I have become a real booze hound. All you guys drink so much, me included. A glass of red wine is excellent for you, but I tend to not stop there.?
She doesn?t love her mom as much as her dad: ?I wouldn?t say I?m a mummy?s girl, but I have grown to have a tremendous appreciation of her as a woman. I was very much a daddy?s girl. I still feel the loss. I cried about my father today. I just thought, ?I need my dad?. He died ten years ago, but the grief doesn?t get less intense, it just hits you less frequently.?
More on Chris: ?My husband makes me laugh every day. He is hilarious ? he could have been a comedian, but he keeps it under wraps. He can laugh me out of a bad moment just like that.?
Her thoughts on Duchess Kate: ?I don?t think she has ever put a foot wrong. I think she is beautiful and clever and it?s great that she wears high street. I am a huge fan but I have never met her.?
On Jay-Z and Beyonce: ?Jay is like a big-brother figure to me, he has a very calming and mature energy. He is an amazing force in our life ? the kids call him Uncle Jay and Beyonc, Auntie B. I was a mum before B so I suppose I may have passed on some advice but I have learnt so much from her, too. She is gorgeous, very feminine, very clever in that she knows how to be powerful and yet demure. And their baby Blue Ivy is totally delish. She?s made me very broody.?
She?s had some minor work done: ?I don?t mind a few wrinkles and freckles. I had this laser treatment recently, Thermage, and it took a couple of years off my face, but I haven?t had any plastic surgery yet. Maybe one day I will, although I don?t like the idea of it. I prefer the thought of ageing in the way French actresses do ? have the odd cigarette and glass of wine and just enjoy life.?
She?s so perfect that it?s a problem: She confesses that ?the bane? of her existence has been her ?perfectionism? ? something she now thinks borders on a ?personality disorder? and she is working hard to undo. ?Life isn?t perfect. We are human beings, we are totally flawed and you just set yourself up for disappointment and shame if you try to be perfect. There is no point.?

I didn?t know that about her miscarriage. That’s horrible and I feel for her. I think there were some rumors about that years ago when she was briefly hospitalized, but Gwyneth?s publicist made it sound like food poisoning. I don’t think it’s fair to blame Gwyneth for whatever fertility issues she?s had ? completely healthy and unhealthy women have fertility problems and problems carrying a fetus to term.
In terms of the rest of the interview, the whole ?I won?t let my family eat half of all of the foods out there, just because I screwed up my body with starvation and ridiculous cleanses but I still love to drink and smoke cigarettes? thing doesn?t really jive. She?s so bizarre. She?s just making it up as she goes along, which is what most people do but she makes it seem like her (screwed-up) way is the healthiest and smartest choice.
