Offering up the big screen adaption of the Michael Lewis book, Brad Pitt's "Moneyball" arrives in theaters today (September 23).
The sports based flick tells "the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players."
In addition to Pitt's A-list prowess, the film also features co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright and Jonah Hill.
During a recent interview with Nation Post, Brad dished about the movie and how it provokes a new way of thinking, as he explained, "You understand that, sometimes when we?ve been doing it one way for so long, we forget to question why. Why are there norms? And what was the original context?"

She was the ring leader of the group of young adults who broke into a string of celebrities? homes back in 2009, and on Friday (September 23), Rachel Lee pleaded no contest for burglarizing Audrina Patridge's home.
Prosecutors say Lee manned the break-ins at homes owned by Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox.
Lee was initially charged with a burglary at Lohan?s home, but a judge dropped that count last year.
As the second member of the so-called ?Bling Ring? to enter pleas in the series of burglaries, if Lee is convicted she could face up to 4 years in prison. Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 21.

Up, up and away! Angelina Jolie treated son Maddox to a taste of the high life when he accompanied her during a flying lesson in Hampshire, England on Friday.
Rocking a grey maxi dress topped with a black jacket, the mom-of-six, 36, flashed a huge grin while her eldest son — toting an iPad — strapped into the rear of the plane before takeoff.
But Maddox, 10, isn’t the first kid to join Jolie in the friendly skies. Shiloh, 5, went for a ride in a small aircraft last year in L.A. And In 2008, the star even flew her plane while pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne, 3.
The actress — who received her pilot’s license in 2005 — confessed at the time that her favorite hobby was inspired by her eldest son. “Every time Mad sees a plane, he’s amazed,” Jolie has said. “If I could actually fly a plane. . . I’ll be like Superman to him.”
Maddox’s dad, Brad Pitt, 47, is currently stateside promoting his new flick Moneyball.

Here?s a question: why is Angelina still in England? Has Brad finished filming World War Z? The Superficial posted photos of Lindsay Lohan making out with millionaire Dream hotel owner Vikram Chatwal (who’s really let himself go) and doing lines off his junk just so he could get her into Marc Jacobs’ Fashion Week party. At least that’s what I imagine was going on in the pictures.
Anyway, Page Six reports Chatwal is married with a kid. A fact that didn’t sit well with Lindsay because when Vikram’s wife, Priya Sachdev, came to town, Lindsay confronted her and said with disdain, “You are his wife?,” followed with her best bitchface.
?Lindsay had been staying at Vikram?s house and even installed her hairdresser in the baby?s room, but was told to leave before his wife arrived from India with the child a few days ago. His father, Sant Singh, has tried to order Lindsay out numerous times.
?Lindsay found out Vikram was hosting a dinner at the Dream, and turned up with a friend at the hotel?s Electric Room, waiting for him,? the source said. ?That?s when the trouble started. Priya was very dignified, but Lindsay was so rude. She acted as if she?d had no idea Vikram was married, and tried to make it clear that Vikram was her friend. Others had to step in to calm things down.?
Someone better decontaminate that baby room. Lines of coke and used condoms will be littering the floor. I’d rather dive into a dumpster at a needle exchange program than walk through that place.

How long does it take to make a wax figure? Several months, right? So why does Fergie?s wax figure have some version of her old face?
Too harsh? Honestly, if you really look at the wax figure, I?m not sure Fergie EVER looked like that. The wax figure is giving me Denise Richards/Doutzen Kroes vibes, so perhaps the wax figure is simply Fergie?s aspirational look. Like, Madama Tussauds simply made of wax figure of who Fergie is IN HER SOUL. In her soul, she looks like Doutzen Kroes. Who doesn?t?
Funny story - Fergie?s wax figure cost $300,000 to make. SERIOUSLY. $300,000 is likely also how much it costs for Fergie to get enough plastic surgery to look like Doutzen Kroes. Fergie?s wax figure will be staying at the Las Vegas Madame Tussauds, by the way.
Also - can we talk about how bad Fergie?s current hair is? It ages her. And I think her old face is growing back.

Re-reading an article on this that Bedhead covered in June, I realized that Ellen has lived with her young lover for two years and that they’ve been together for four years! Things seem really serious between the two no matter the age difference.There’s a new tabloid report that Ellen popped the question during a romantic beach stroll. If the roles were reversed and Ellen was a rich old 57 year old dude with a fiance 31 years his junior would we think twice about it? Probably not.
Ellen Barkin, 57, is so smitted with her 26-year-old director beau Sam Levinson that she popped the question - and the two are planning an early 2012 wedding, sources say.
“Ellen is madly in love with Sam and wants to spend the rest of her life with him,” a close pal told The Enquirer.
“She proposed marriage while they were walking on the beach on late afternoon in August. Sam didn’t skip a beat before accepting. ”
Even better, the groom-to-be has the blessing of his father - Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson - who guided Ellen in her breakout role in the 1982 classic “Diner…”
[Ellen] has previously been married to billionaire businessman Ron Perelman and Irish actor Gabriel Byrne, father of her 21-year-old son Jack and daughter Romy, 18.
She’s dated Sam for four years…

The Enquirer usually gets it right when they cover the not-so-popular celebrities, so I would bet this one is accurate. It skeeves me out in the their age difference is exactly the same as my son and me, but at least Ellen’s son is a whole five years younger than her boyfriend and isn’t around the same age. (That’s sarcasm-lite. Like I meant to be sarcastic there but realize that I did have a minor point to make that isn’t convincing at all.)
This reminds me of Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson, who have a 23 year-old age difference, but they got together when he was just 18. At least Ellen’s boyfriend was all of 22 when he hooked up with her. (Again, I’m kind of torn on whether I’m being sarcastic. They’ve been together long enough for this relationship to be legit at least.) I have a live and let live attitude usually but this does seem strange to me. My kid is little now but I totally think I would throw a fit if he reached 20-something and wanted to marry a woman my age. Anyway… go Ellen?

Last night was the premiere of Paul McCartney?s debut ballet, Ocean?s Kingdom. Paul wrote the music for the ballet, and he and all of his friends showed up to support him. Well, some of his friends. Sarah Jessica Parker was one of the big guests, probably because she?s somehow associated with the New York City Ballet? is she on the board? Is she the ballet ambassador? Something like that. Anyway, SJP wore this little lace dress that I feel very strongly about. I feel that this dress is really unattractive, in general, and it?s a damn tragedy on SJP. I mean?you already know how I feel about lace looks in general. So there’s that. And… look, she?s thin, she can pull off lots of different styles, so it?s not like her body looks ?gross? in the dress. But it just feels like she?s showing way too much skin, and seriously, why for white lace? Sarah Jessica, you?re 46. Stop with the girlish, virginal, bridal, skin-bearing looks.
Candace Bushnell, author of Sex and the City (the books and the column) was there too. Candace has tweaked her face, correct? AND THOSE SHOES. Not with that dress, bitch.

Clive Owen unexpectedly showed up to shoot his new movie, ?Killer Elite, with ?an ?80s mustache? because he thought it made sense for the era. ?I looked at pictures of the ?80s, and everyone had mustaches,? Owen said. ?If you look at soccer teams — any pictures from that period — mustaches were big, so I felt I should go there.?
“I take full responsibility for it,” says a now-clean-shaven Owen of his unfortunate moustache. “In my defense, if you look at pictures of the UK from that period, everyone had one.”
Luckily, director Gary McKendry agreed. Co-star Robert De Niro also embarked on his own facial hair experiment: While heading the Cannes jury in May, he began growing a beard because he thought his character needed one, even though he was snapped daily with super-groomed jury members Jude Law and Uma Thurman.

I do like shooting fight sequences. You get in the moment, and there?s something very enjoyable about it. When you?re doing big dialogue scenes, you always look back and think, ?I could have done this, I could have done that,? but there aren?t many options when you?re punching someone. So you just kind of get into the moment and enjoy it. It?s finite. Satisfying.? Are your biscuits tingling at the thought of Jason and I man-handling each other? Then my work here is done.

The ?Changeling? chick took her beaming boy Maddox along for the outing, as the pair were all smiles as they hopped out of a luxury chauffeured car and directly into a small plane with an instructor.
The outing comes as Angelina?s longtime boyfriend Brad Pitt recently told press that their big brood of kids are once again pressuring them to get married.
He shared, ?The kids are putting on the heat. They really are.? But as always, Pitt and Jolie aren?t saying ?I Do? until gay marriage is legal. ?We live in this great country that is about freedom. Another day, another crackie extravaganza. You know what my plans are this evening? My mom is going to pick up some food for me and we?re going to watch this week?s episode of The Hour. They were just photographed together a few days ago - the paparazzi got photos where it looked like they were doing lines together, and some other shady stuff. Some say he?s Linnocent?s boyfriend. Some say he?s her john. Some say they?re coke-buddies. I wonder what his wife says?
Lindsay Lohan got her claws out in a confrontation with the Indian model wife of millionaire hotelier Vikram Chatwal, just days after the troubled starlet and Chatwal were spotted kissing at his home in New York.
Lohan rudely confronted stunning Priya Sachdev at the Dream Downtown on Wednesday night, saying with obvious disdain, ?You are his wife?? This was followed by a sour face right out of her movie ?Mean Girls,? spies said.
Dream owner Chatwal married Sachdev at a lavish seven-day ceremony in 2006, and they later separated. They have a daughter and have remained close. But Chatwal was seen kissing Lohan on photographs posted on the Internet as they cozied up near a window of his New York home a few days ago.
A source told us, ?Lindsay had been staying at Vikram?s house and even installed her hairdresser in the baby?s room, but was told to leave before his wife arrived from India with the child a few days ago. His father, Sant Singh, has tried to order Lindsay out numerous times. Lindsay found out Vikram was hosting a dinner at the Dream, and turned up with a friend at the hotel?s Electric Room, waiting for him,? the source said.
?That?s when the trouble started. Priya was very dignified, but Lindsay was so rude. She acted as if she?d had no idea Vikram was married, and tried to make it clear that Vikram was her friend. Others had to step in to calm things down.?
Chatwal flew Lohan to town before Fashion Week on his jet, and they?ve been repeatedly spotted partying together. Our source said, ?Vikram?s family worry that Lindsay is bad news and want him to stay away from her.?
Lohan?s rep, Steve Honig, last night denied she and Chatwal were in a relationship. He said, ?Vikram and Lindsay are good friends, and there is absolutely no romance going on between them.? Of the incident, ?This is the first I?ve heard of it.? A spokesman for Chatwal said, ?No comment at this time.?

Lindsay Lohan has been keeping herself busy attending New York fashion week and getting ready to jet off to Milan to shoot an ad campaign, but the starlet’s advisers are telling her to prioritize, buckle down and put in much needed hours to complete her court ordered community service, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
However, the Mean Girls star, 25, is ignoring their advice, so far. Lindsay was ordered to complete a whopping 480 hours of community service in connection with her no contest plea in her misdemeanor theft case.
Lindsay’s next court date, which she was previously ordered to attend, is on October 17, 2011 for a progress report hearing. Los Angeles Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lindsay to 380 hours of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center, and 100 hours at the Los Angeles County Morgue.
“Lindsay has completed about 60 hours at the Downtown Women’s Center. Lindsay hasn’t done any time at the morgue,? a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. ?Lindsay has completed her shoplifters awareness class but is falling behind on her other commitments.
?Lindsay’s team is telling her she needs to log significant time to show the judge that she is working towards completing her hours, but she is ignoring them. Lindsay’s rationale is that she has a year to complete the service, so she isn’t concerned about it right now.?
Lindsay’s team has a good reason to be concerned given her track record of complying with terms of probation. “The judge has told Lindsay in the past that she will not accept any excuses whatsoever for her failure to complete her community service, period. If Lindsay was smart, she would work to get those hours done,” the insider says.
Lindsay publicist, Steve Honig, tells RadarOnline.com that his client has been working hard to juggle her work and community service demands. “Lindsay has been working very closely with her advisors to balance the demands of making a living while at the same time fulfilling her court-mandated obligations,”he says.
Meanwhile, Lindsay father, Michael Lohan, says he has concerns. ?While she is beautiful I am concerned about her community service at hand. Her lawyers and I have done all we can to keep her out of jail and the last thing in the world I want to see is her to get violated,? he tells RadarOnline.com. ? I just want to see her back where she was at the best part of her life. The only way she will accomplish that is if we as a family put our differences aside and heal these wounds. This is not something a band aid can fix.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Hollywood wild child allegedly threw a glass at a photographer at a party at a hotel in New York City last week during fashion week. Lindsay, later on that same evening, reportedly threw a drink at another snapper.

These are some photos of John Travolta and his bushy wiglet from a few days ago. He just loves getting all dressed up in leather, doesn?t he? Well, the event was for Bombardier (a company that makes planes), and Travolta was just named the brand ambassador. He also just bought another plane too - a Bombardier, obviously. John Travolta recently purchased a Bombardier Challenger 601 jet that he and his family will use to travel around the globe, much to the delight of his wife and kids.
“My family fortunately loves traveling,” the newly announced Bombardier brand ambassador told PEOPLE Tuesday. “Whenever I say, ‘I have to go to Australia or Paris,’ they say, ‘When are we going? I’m there.’ ”
But Travolta admits that his wife Kelly Preston and their daughter Ella consider the new purchase to be a “whole new era for us.”
The Challenger is the latest ? and largest ? in a line of aircrafts purchased by Travolta, who started taking lessons when he was just 15 years old. He had his license by 23.
“I love [flying] so much that I built my house next to a [runway] so I could fly my jet to my front door,” he told reporters.
And while the avid aviator’s baby boy Benjamin, 9 months, may be too young to earn his wings, Ella, 11, has already exhibited a fondness towards aircrafts.
“I was flying these little sports planes that I have and she showed interest in that,” Travolta says.
“I just love being in the air. It has been my family time. I’ve enjoyed that.”

These are a few new photos of Brenda Song and her still-boyfriend Trace Cyrus from Wednesday. Note: I?ve also included a few photos of Brenda solo from a couple of weeks ago. Now, back in August, several media outlets got a ?confirmation? that Trace Cyrus, Goat-Boy of the Cyrus Clan, had impregnated his young girlfriend Brenda. We sent out congrats to the happy couple and I think we all said a quiet prayer that the baby would take after Brenda, who is cute as a Disney-manufactured button. This is one of those stories that’s not exactly brand new but worth mentioning all the same for the laugh factor. After being evicted from the “Celebrity Big Brother” house, Tara Reid has evidently found herself at loose ends as a happily married woman of leisure (after getting hitched to her random husband), who has largely spent most of her time being photographed outside the Mayfair hotel in London doing various classy things like flashing her panties and smoking up a storm. Since she’s made it this far (a couple of months) without getting divorced, Tara’s ready for the next stage of her relationship — becoming a mother — which makes total sense because, you know, that’s the first thing one thinks of when checking out pictures of Tara Reid:

The couple married two weeks before the American Pie actress entered the Celebrity Big Brother house after a whirlwind romance. In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Express, 35-year-old Tara, the third housemate to be evicted, said she now wants to settle down and have children once they have found the perfect home.
She said that she is even considering following a host of other US stars and moving to Britain.
Tara, looking happy and refreshed after her time on the reality show, said: “We definitely want to start a family but we have to figure out where we want to live first.
“Fortunately Zach is lucky enough that he has a job in finance so can go anywhere in the world because he has offices everywhere. So if we wanted to move to London then we could but we still have all that to figure out.

The horror, the horror. Kaiser (who thinks that Tara must have been high when she said this) and I both believe this is pretty hilarious, but I think Tara is completely serious in her assertions. After all, she’s already been swimming in the Greek sea of delusion, so there’s no reason why she wouldn’t imagine herself as a great mother. And hey, she might not be so bad at it. Any baby of Tara’s will be exposed to a wealth of culture (i.e., shopping, eating at restaurants, clubbing) and also learn the value of a hefty work ethic (i.e., holding mommy’s cigarettes) at a very early age. That’s gotta be worth, uh, something, right?
At any rate, Tara and Zack really do seem enamored of each other. The poor guy looks like he thinks he hit the jackpot with landing Tara Reid. He also appears rather normal and sober too. I just don’t get it.

By Hollywood standards, Zoe Saldana?s 10-year-relationship with fianc businessman Keith Britton seems positively ancient. But while their love affair has yet to be characterized as on-again, off-again, the same can?t be said of Zoe?s engagement ring lately - and it?s raising some eyebrows.

See, now in these photos, Beyonce looks very knocked up to me. Yes, there?s some swelling in her abdomen (not as much as the VMAs, but it?s there), but the biggest difference I see is in Beyonce?s boob size. You can always tell by the boobs. As for the now infamous VMA bump-reveal, Beyonce tells Access Hollywood that she thought the ?classiest? way to tell people that she was pregnant was ?to just show it?. She doesn?t say, ?to just stick a pillow on that junk and show off the padding.? But I think that?s what she meant.

Typically, the superstar artist is a very private person, but when Access Hollywood guest correspondent Jill Martin sat down with her, Beyonce opened up about her other big news (her pregnancy!) and how she came up with the idea to reveal her baby bump at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
?You know, I dreamt it, actually,? Beyonce told Jill of the inspiration behind her pregnancy announcement. ?There were so many rumors about me being pregnant every three months for the past couple of years ? I thought the best way and classiest way was to just show it. And my husband and I have been together for 10 years, so I guess people felt a part of it and it makes me feel really good.?
Following Beyonce?s big reveal at the end of her VMAs performance, cameras cut to a shot of her husband, Jay-Z, in the audience along with Kanye West, as the two rappers jumped up and down and cheered in celebration. Although the proud, soon-to-be daddy?s enthusiasm was seen by millions, Beyonce said she missed the endearing moment.
?I couldn?t see that in real life, but I did see it on a bunch of TV specials,? the 30-year-old singer said. ?You couldn?t escape it, so it was nice!?
As for motherhood, B said she feels she?s been preparing for this moment for years.
?I just feel like everything I?ve been through in my life is all for right now,? she told Jill. ?So hopefully life will continue to get better, and I?ll continue to get stronger and be an incredible mother.?
Beyonce was solo at the launch party for her third fragrance, but both she and Jay-Z were very involved in creating Pulse.

Ha, ?tweak?. Yes, she?s been doing a lot of ?tweaking? this year, to perfume, and to her face. Some pre-pregnancy tweaking, I guess. Anyway, as for Beyonce?s bump debut and whether or not it was ?classy?? I wouldn?t describe it as classy, but then again, I don?t really think there is a ?classy? way to announce to the world that you?re pregnant. If you?re a celebrity, and you want to keep everything very easy and non-controversial, I think the best way is to issue a simple statement and then debut your bump on some kind of red carpet situation. That?s the way I would do it if I was a celebrity.
As I?ve said before, I didn?t hate Beyonce?s bump debut - I thought it was very cute the way she showed it off on stage after she sang. It was a great moment, it was cheesy and sweet and joyful? and not ?classy?. The whole padding the bump was a famewhore move though, in retrospect. She just did that to make a bigger impact on the biggest stage she could possibly get.

Receiving the honor of having a replica crafted in her likeness, Stacy ?Fergie? Ferguson attended a ceremony to unveil her new wax double at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Las Vegas on Thursday night (September 22).
The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman took to The Venetian venue while playfully posing with her wax figure alongside her mother Terri, father Pat and sister Dana.
Getting caught up in the fun-filled festivities, Fergie at one point grabbed a handful of her waxy duplicate's bosoms as husband Josh Duhamel stood in the crowd to take pictures with his cell phone.
The visit to Sin City comes as the 36-year-old singer is set to perform with her bandmates on Friday (September 23) as part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Other acts lined up to take the stage include Jay-Z, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, Kenny Chesney and Jennifer Lopez.

She's one of the world's biggest pop stars, but the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro even put Rihanna in a state of awe.
The Barbadian beauty visited the landmark on Thursday (September 22) while enjoying a day off between a show in the nation's capital and her headlining appearance in tomorrow's opening day of the Rock in Rio festival.
Looking casual cute in shorts, a yellow shirt and high heels, RiRi ventures out with her security detail and entourage for a day of sightseeing in the locale dubbed as the "Beautiful City".
The outing came hours after the 23-year-old debuted her brand new single "We Found Love," of which she nervously tweeted prior to its release, "I'm EXCITED, NERVOUS, ANXIOUS! I could throw up!?

Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz have broken up and then gotten back together twice in the past year, but maybe third time’s the charm. Or not. People Magazine says:
“They are broken up right now,” the a source close to the couple [said]. “They are still very close. There was always a certain magic between them.”
Calling the decision mutual, the source says: “They’re still close friends and will continue to be close friends. They have considerable respect for each other.”
Another source in Miami [also] confirms they broke up.
Usually when someone tells me they had a “certain magic” with me, I assume it’s a nice way of letting me know that I just contracted VD. Manners aren’t dead, you know.

In the midst of her day's agenda, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted while filling up at the pump in Los Angeles, California on Thursday afternoon (September 22).
The former "High School Musical" star went for a sexy look as she showed off her legs in a pair of daisy dukes and knee-high boots during the petrol station stop.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, it was just recently announced that Miss Hudgens has gotten herself a new co-star for her upcoming project titled "Frozen Ground".
According to The Playlist, the 22-year-old will now be working alongside rapper-turned-actor 50 cent, as the 36-year-old "In Da Club" hitmaker will be playing a pimp in the Scott Walker directed thriller.

Continuing along with promotional duties, Kendra Wilkinson was spotted on the set of ?Extra!? on Thursday (September 22).
Joined by her husband Hank Baskett, the reality TV star looked like a bombshell in a light-colored mini dress and heels as the couple walked through The Grove.
While opening up about her new book ?Being Kendra? ?which was released on Tuesday- Wilkinson told UsWeekly, "I think the word 'sex' is on almost every single page [of my book]," the 26-year-old mom of baby Hank, 21 months, said. "I love sex. But you know, it's hard now with a baby. When you find that time, sex is not really the first thing you wanna think about. [It's] sleep!"
But there?s definitely no shortage of intimacy for Kendra. She goes on to say, "[My husband Hank and I] try to limit being in the bedroom as much as possible. We think about sleep [there] instead of sex, so we venture off into different places like the kitchen and the Jacuzzi."

Back out for another fragrance launch event, Beyonce Knowles was front and center at Macy's Herald Square in New York City on Thursday evening (September 22).
The expecting singer took to the Pulse Fragrance Launch in a sleeveless white frock adorned with fringes from the waist down.
The outing comes just as Miss Knowles offered up some revealing details about her baby on board during an interview with Associated Press.
Of being with child, the ?Love on Top? singer said, ?There is no bigger gift, nothing more empowering.?
Beyonce went on to explain who see looks to for parental guidance, as she said, "I have the best examples around me because my sister is the most incredible mother. My mother, I am so proud of her. I see her and I could cry every time I think about her because she is such an incredible woman, so I just pray that I have the same bond with my children, child."
When asked about her career after the baby is born, the star told, "I will probably [take the baby everywhere with me]. I am sure I will," she admitted. "I think that it shouldn't stop you. I think of course my life is going to change, and I definitely will make sacrifices, but you know, I think I will be able to bring hopefully my little rider with me."
