Lauren Conrad covers the April issue of Redbook, and I don?t like this cover all that much. It?s mostly because LC?s hair looks totally fried!! LC used to have decent hair so I?m not sure what?s happening here. Anyway, she?s been sort of quiet since getting married last summer, but she talks about her new husband, William Tell, and how he?s the first guy she?s ever wanted to marry. Which is weird, because I?m pretty sure she and Kyle Howard broke up because he wasn?t interested in marriage, but whatever. Some highlights from Redbook:
Do women have to be loud divas to be successful? “Over the last few years I’ve been able to work with several women who I really respected because they didn’t take on that role of being a bitch. They were strong, but they were kind and they didn’t need to shout to be heard. A lot of women feel like they need to be tough in order to be taken seriously. We have this idea that kindness is weakness, which I don’t think is true.”
Meeting William Tell: “[I was] never a person who was obsessed with the idea of marriage.” Lauren says that William is “the first person I ever thought I could marry.”
William Tell is a lawyer: “I watch The Good Wife with him, and he’s like ‘That’s incorrect. You would actually do this?’ It’s a nightmare!”
Whether her kids will do a reality show: “I definitely wouldn’t encourage my child to do reality television.?

LC also says she?s not feeling any pressure to start a family just yet, which sounds about right because she?s just 29 years old. I bet she waits another year or so and when she does get knocked up, her business will expand with TONS of kids? stuff (although she already has a kids? line).
Yeah? I know this was sort of boring, but you know what? I do kind of like her. It?s nice to see that at least one person made it out of the reality show system with some kind of grace and business skill. As for LC?s comment about women not needing to be ?bitches? to get things done? I see her point. But what if we?re just naturally bitchy and we happen to get things done? There seems to be a presupposition that if a woman comes across as a bitch, then she?s just playing that role to get something done. What if that?s just her personality?

Whenever I hear that Naomi Campbell got into some kind of beatdown with some other woman, I almost always think ?That poor other woman.? But not this time. This time, Naomi Campbell might have picked a fight with a woman who will not only fight back, but who could possibly win in a hand-to-hand smackdown. According to Page Six, Naomi got into it with? Cara Delevingne. I don?t give Cara credit for much, but she?s scrappy as hell and it sounds like she gave as good as she got. This story totally involves weave-pulling too!!
Naomi Campbell and model of the moment Cara Delevingne got into a supermodel catfight when a screaming match turned physical during Paris Fashion Week. Witnesses said Naomi was angrily shouting at Cara, and the pair began pushing and shoving each other. Sources said Cara was seen grabbing Naomi?s hair during the high-fashion fracas. The two models apparently got into a fight over their mutual friend Rihanna while at a chic party for Dasha Zhukova?s Garage Magazine at Paris club Castel Sunday night.
A witness told Page Six, ?Naomi accused Cara of ?disrespecting? Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back.? Another witness added, ?Cara pulled Naomi?s weave, but it didn?t come off.?
Naomi and Cara, along with Rihanna, have been spotted together at events for Paris fashion week. But the witness said, ?Naomi was angry because she felt Cara had said something negative about Rihanna.?
A separate source said Naomi, 44, unexpectedly started ranting at Cara, 22, at the glamorous bash, with guests including Bianca Brandolini and Lauren Santo Domingo. The source said, ?It was a noisy and packed party. Naomi was saying all these nonsensical things, she was ranting. There was a messy pushing match. Cara didn?t understand because there?s no problem between her and Rihanna. Cara didn?t want to be involved and was telling Naomi, ?Get away from me!???
Another source at the event said Naomi had been chatting with Dakota Fanning, who was at a table with models including Cara and Lily Donaldson. The source said, ?Naomi didn?t do anything wrong. We are talking about a very tiny club in Paris with a very busy table ? if someone pushes someone, it?s because there is no space.?
Despite the supermodel tussle, Naomi later went partying at Up & Down?s pop-up at Raspoutine, where a spy said, ?Everyone was talking about the drama with Cara, but Naomi just smiled angelically.? Reps for both Naomi and Cara declined to comment Monday night.

This comes just weeks after Naomi assaulted a cameraman in Cuba, and this comes after more than a decade of assaults and bedazzled phone beatdowns from Naomi. Let?s just say this? you could spin a crazy tale of Naomi assaulting just about anyone and I would believe you. Chica is unhinged and violent. And I find myself liking Cara more for fighting back and trying to yank Naomi?s weave off, Jerry Springer-style. And how in the world is Cara supposed to have disrespected Rihanna? Rihanna and Cara are BFFs!! Naomi is one messed up woman.

Isn?t it such an unexpected pleasure to see a 48-year-old woman on the cover of a major magazine? Major as in, not the AARP Magazine, or More Magazine, or Good Housekeeping. Robin Wright is enjoying one of the highest points of her career and her personal life right now ? she?s on the widely acclaimed and award-winning House of Cards, and she?s back with her young lover Ben Foster. She talks about her public and personal life in the April issue of Vanity Fair ? you can read VF?s excerpt here. Some highlights:
On her relationship with Ben Foster: ?I?ve never been happier in my life than I am today. Perhaps it?s not ladylike [to say], but I?ve never laughed more, read more, or come more than with Ben. He inspires me to be the best of myself. There?s so much to learn. It?s endless. How great! It took me a long time to grow up. Love is possible as life is possible.?
On her divorce to Sean Penn: ?I?m not in the business of talking about what ?isn?t,?my eyes are set forward and I?ve never been happier. I have too much respect for Sean and our two extraordinary children to sell our past joys and woes for public consumption and fodder.?
What she learned from being married to Penn: ?I believe we were together not only to have our beautiful children but to learn how to love ? for the next time around, the right way. And then, what I?m looking for in people now is kindness.?
Her now-famous super-short hairstyle: ?I was just cutting off damaged hair?too much bleach over months of [appearing in] different movies. It was a mercy killing, but it works for the character.?
Late stardom: ?I feel as though I?ve just graduated. I mean, I never went to college. I was pregnant at 23. You hear people say how they have ?arrived,? but it was just always there, waiting to come out. For me, it just took a long time. I?m 48. I?m finally a person. I think I?m finally ready.?

VF also contacted Sean Penn?s rep to see if he would comment on the record, but all they got was a message that Penn was traveling and unable to comment. If you go back to his recent Esquire interview, I think Sean already said what he wanted to say about his marriage to Robin. I think it?s safe to say they were toxic together and they might have even brought out the worst in each other. But I like the way Robin speaks about it, like she learned a lot from the back-and-forth drama with Sean and she?s a lot happier these days. Which I believe. But I?d still like to see her grow out her hair just a little bit!! I?m sorry, but I do find this cut too severe.
