Looking lovely in a stylish white frock, Dannii Minogue transformed the world’s most famous department store, Harrods, into the Emerald City for the Christmas season on Thursday evening (October 29).
Joined by 10-year-old Dominic, a patient of Great Ormond Street Hospital with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Miss Minogue watched on as 11,500 bulbs that decorate the store’s famous facade turned from white to a glittering green.
Meanwhile, it’s no secret that Danii has been through some hard times, especially watching her sister Kylie go through her battle with cancer in 2005.
Dannii broke down to tears while during an interview with Piers Morgan.
The X Factor judge had all kinds of emotions when she spoke of arriving back to the family’s house in Australia after hearing about the news.
“All I wanted to do was get inside the door of the family home and see my gorgeous sister and hug her,” said the 38-year-old in emotional scenes to be shown on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on ITV1 this Saturday.
Although Kyle has recovered, she says the family is cautious because she hasn’t hit the five-year all-clear check yet.
“Well, there’s the all-clear and there’s the all-clear. The proper one is the five-year all-clear and we’re not there yet.”

Meanwhile, Jess was able to fit in a little quality couple’s time with her hubby Cash Warren the previous evening.
The happy pair ended up attending the Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Clippers basketball game in Los Angeles, watching on from prime seats as the Suns ended up winning a close match, 109-107.

Unhappy about the rumors swirling around him, Josh Duhamel’s rep is clearing up reports from the National Enquirer that said the actor cheated on his wife, Fergie.
The tabloid claimed that the affair happened in October with a blonde Atlanta stripper that goes by the name Delilah.
“This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity,” Duhamel’s rep claimed.
Continuing to deny any wrongdoing, the “Transformers” star’s rep adds, “This story is absolutely ridiculous.”

Alicia Keys and Jay-Z are set to heat up the World Series on Thursday night (October 29) when they perform the New York ode "Empire State of Mind" at the new Yankees Stadium before game two against the Phillies. It's a song Keys knew she had to be a part of as soon as she got the call from Jay himself.
"There was a first phone call, and Jay hit me up like, 'I feel like I have this record that's going to be the anthem of New York,' " she told MTV News, adding that she was onboard immediately. "He's like, 'The piano, the way the style [is], the whole flow, and it couldn't be the anthem of New York without you.' "

Continuing her press assault, Katie Price was spotted out at Waterstones Lakeside on Thursday (October 29).
Clad in a sparkling red mini dress and red stilettos while signing and promoting her latest book, “Standing Out,” the British beauty even brought the kids along for the day’s duties.
Meanwhile, Price has announced that she will leave the limelight if fans aren’t interested in her anymore. The model said the only reason she is successful is because people aren’t bored of her life.
“I will retire when people are bored of me, but thanks to the public, they’re still keeping me here, they’re keeping me going.”
She recently parted ways from husband Peter Andre in May and the couple’s divorced went through this month. Since then, Katie has gotten the media talking. “I get a lot of stick, but I like a bit of stick, it drives me. I like the knockdowns, they’ve just made me really strong. I’m like a tank, you can fire bullets and they just won’t get through to me.”
Katie recently said that she feels people are driving her to have a break down. “This is a job I have been doing since the age of 17. People can be cruel. I think they are trying to make me have a breakdown and end up in the Priory.
But she isn’t giving in. “But I won’t let it get me down. I know what is right or wrong, and so do my family and friends.”

Katy Perry will be taking over Europe while hosting MTV’s Europe Awards this year for the second time in a row.
Recently doing her promotional duties by posing for press pics, Katy is ready for the big job and cannot wait to do it again.
And so how is she preparing? By getting sexy. Katy says she wants to make it as sexy as possible by wearing only skimpy outfits that show off her body. “I’m hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards again. This time with more outfits and more antics. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it eh? Yay!”
Last year, everyone loved Katy, whose hit song I Kissed A Girl was just out. Her costume wardrobe has gotten even wilder so we’ll have to wait and see what she has this year!

Continuing her humanitarian efforts, Madonna was spotted at the groundbreaking ceremony for her Raising Malawi Academy for Girls today (October 29).
The Material girl was joined by her children Lourdes, Mercy, and David as she visited the Mphandu la Orphanage outside Lilongwe, posing for pictures along the way.
And it sounds like Madge got quite an upgrade earlier this week when one of the orphans she has helped declared her to be a god.
The young girl exclaimed, “You are our god. Where could we have been without you?” A witness reported that Madonna “seemed cool with” the compliment. Perhaps she’s more divine than we knew!

Always finding herself making the tabloid fodder, Jennifer Aniston is said to be making plans for a family!
The actress was reported to have visited a Mexican orphanage to find a baby to adopt, as sources said that Aniston made a secret visit to the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage, where she and ex-husband Brad Pitt donate money.
“Jen has been plowing money into the orphanage for years, just as her ex Brad has, and to adopt a baby from there makes perfect sense,” the source says. “She and Brad will never be — she knows that — but this bond through the baby will live on, no matter what.”
Continuing on, the insider alleges that Miss Aniston is ready to settle down and have a family, saying, “This is what she’s always wanted, a baby, and now it’s about to come true.”
Meanwhile, claims have been made that she and John Mayer have gotten their romance back on.

Jolie and Kristof have done appearances together on behalf of the Council on Foreign Relations (of which they are both members), and it was after a CFR panel discussion that Kristof took to his NYT blog to defend Angelina against what he saw as an unfairly snarky Daily Beast column. UPDATE: Life & Style has an exclusive statement from Andrew Morton about the book he?s writing on Angelina. He denies the tabloid claims that he will report that a 16-year-old (or younger) Angelina had a sexual relationship with her mother?s adult boyfriend. The story was first reported months ago in Star Magazine, but has gotten some kind of second wind in the tabloid and legitimate press in the past few weeks because both the Morton and the Ian Halperin books allegedly deal with this statutory rape/?seduction? issue. Morton says the story is ?about as true as I?m sitting on this horse.? Which, I suppose, we?re supposed to know that he?s not sitting on a horse? I guess. My other guess is that this story was started, promoted and distributed by Ian Halperin, who is an established hack and fraud.

Jessica Simpson wants someone to love who can inspire her.
The singer has been on the scene with John Mayer and recently split from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, but says she likes “artistic” men.
Simpson spilled, “I definitely love a spiritual man-somebody that is going to always in spire me.I don’t want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men … people that will always keep me intrigued.”
It sounds like the 29 year-old knows what she wants. “And, you know, I love artistic men — somebody that really understands their art. I like a confidant man,” she added.
Meanwhile, Simpson, who has faced harsh criticism for her weight, says she’s finally happy and comfortable in her own skin.
“It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what’s going to make the best version of myself,” she said.

The British beauty looked lovely as she made her exit from the Theatre Royal Haymarket following her performance.
Ms. Friel told press that she has become accustomed to baring all for her role, though it took some getting used to.
“At first I was nervous. There was a whole debate about when we actually rehearse the nakedness for the first time. It was in a rehearsal room which was very stark and cold and under fluorescent lights.”
“It’s so brief and it’s not gratuitous, it’s not salacious. It’s about this guy who sees a naked woman for the very first time. It teaches him to be a bit more open about it and not so stuffy. We’ve all got them — they just look different!”

No one has put more effort into successfully alienating their fan base and making sure they gyrate their hips into eventual irrelevance and bankruptcy. Your manager must be thrilled.
Who?d Miley beat out? Britney Spears and Kanye West, who came in second and third. That?s right, Kanye?s rushing the stage and stealing the spotlight from Taylor Swift (amongst all his other selfish and rude shenanigans) still doesn?t make him as bad an influence as Miley. Miley Cyrus, one of Disney’s hottest stars of the past three years with hit records and hit films, has been voted the worst celebrity influence of 2009 by the very people who made her a star, tweens and teens, according to an online poll on Wednesday. Cyrus, 16, took 42 percent of votes in the poll for AOL’s JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website aimed at 9-15 year-olds, pushing Britney Spears and rapper Kanye West into second and third places, respectively, in a section on worst celebrity influences of the year.
No reasons were given for the poor showing of the singer-actress and the popular star of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” television series. But the ranking follows a year which has seen Cyrus controversially dating a 20 year-old model, making “slant eyes” in an informal snapshot criticized as mocking Asians, and being accused of pole-dancing on a teen awards show.
Cyrus also came in No. 4 in the category of favorite female artist, behind 19-year-old country sensation Taylor Swift, “I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry and R&B star Beyonce. The poll attracted almost 50,000 votes. “I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney,” said Stephanie Cohen, editor of JSYK.com.
“I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up…Parents are definitely resisting it,” Cohen told Reuters.

All kids and teenagers want to be older than they are. It?s that constant desire to grow up too fast. And it?s the parent?s responsibility to do everything they can to slow it down. But Miley?s parents were chomping at the bit to help their little girl wear skimpy outfits and take inappropriate webcam photos. Because it gets her more attention, and attention equals dollars. The editor of JSYK goes on to talk about how well Taylor Swift has done this year, and she chalks it up to a few important things: first, Taylor is talented. And pretty, though she doesn?t mention that. But secondly, Taylor?s gotten most of her attention for coming across as genuinely kind, smart, well-raised with excellent manners, and she writes songs kids and teens relate to. I?m not really a fan of her type of music, but I?m going to force myself to be. I love that Taylor proves you can be rich and famous for being good instead of being naughty. And if I were a betting girl, I?d bet Taylor will be much richer and more famous than Miley in ten years? time.
And to think? she probably doesn?t even know how to pole dance.

There’s no denying that Lady GaGa always puts on a good show that turns out to be talked about for days.
Recently during an interview for Dallas radio station KISS 106.1, the singer spoke of her upcoming Tour, Monster Ball, which will start next month in Montreal.
“It’s really amazing. The show is based on kind of this theme of evolution, which has a lot to do with how I’ve changed over the years, and kind of in a way, in a symbolic way of describing myself as a person, as GaGa,” she said.
The Monster Ball was originally scheduled right after her canceled Fame Kills Tour with Kanye West. GaGa said that she will tell a story in each performance. “I actually hatch out of an egg in the show. That’s the beginning of the show. It’s kind of the beginning of the evolution. I begin as a cell.”
GaGa also isn’t afraid to admit that she isn’t a bubbly popstar. She takes pride from her past even though she went through a long journey to get to where she is today.
“In a way, I think it’s kind of convoluted the way that people do think about it, because the assumption is that they believe that pop singers should kind of pop out of nowhere and be born and cracked out of an egg one year that the record label lays, and that’s not the way that should happen,” she told the radio station.
The Monster Ball will contain her new album, The Fame: Monster, hitting stores November 24. Opening acts will include Kid Cudi and Jason Derulo.

The “Italian Job” actor told press he’s evening out their household as the soon-to-be-born is a girl. “I’m having another girl. So I’ll have two girls and two boys.”
Wahlberg also explained that having a large family isn’t something new to him, as he grew up with a plethora of siblings.

Does Brooke Shields have a reputation as a bitch? I posed that question to Google, and I came up empty. So if Google?s got nothing, I guess Brooke might actually be one of the nicer celebrities. But this report from Fox News 411 makes it sound like Brooke was having one of those ?I?ll cut the next bitch who gives me dares to speak to me? days. Fox claims that Brooke was shopping with ?two guy friends? at an Hermes sample sale (I wish I was there). Brooke and her friends were basically being big bitches to everyone in the store, mocking customers and being nasty to the staff, if this report is to be believed.
Sometimes Brooke Shields isn’t so nice to retail staff.
The one-time wife to admitted crystal meth-taker Andre Agassi was shopping in New York City with two male companions when sources say she exhibitied a surprisingly rude attitude and major diva behavior, given her sweet-as-pie reputation.
Shields, 44, was apparently getting some time off from her two little girls, Grier, 3, and Rowan, 6, when shoppers spotted her at an Hermes sample sale.
“Brooke was in a snit when she walked in the store. She had two guy friends with her and they were joking around and mocking people,” an eyewitness tells Fox411.
Then the model/TV star started getting snippy with a sales associate while searching for a bargain on Birkin bags and glassware, says the source. “A sales associate offered to show her some watches she was looking at when she bit his head off!”
Apparently, Shields took the offer of aid as an affront of sorts.
“When she was asked, like every other customer, if she needed any help, Brooke was truly rude. She could have said ‘no thanks,’ but instead said, ‘If I needed any help, I would ask for it!’” says the source. “People were definitely staring at her by that point!”
The former supermodel then sashayed down the aisles making jokes, says the onlooker. As Brooke continued to shop, she turned to her friends, holding up a champagne flute, and said, “If we bought these, we would have to have a gorgeous man serve us champagne as we sat around drinking all day.”
Um, what?
“Brooke could have used a glass of champagne to loosen her up,” joked the fellow bargain shopper. “She was tense and quite rude. She seemed to be there to make fun with her friends more than she was actually shopping. The second she walked out of the store, all the women turned to ask if that really was Brooke Shields acting obnoxious in public.”

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those Salma-Hayek-throwing-a-hissy-fit situations where I side with a celebrity because I?m just as guilty of being as big a bitch as some of these stars. While I?ve never ?pulled a Salma? and cussed out a hostess, I have been rude to wait staff a couple of times when I thought their service was extremely sub-par. As for the Brooke situation, that?s more my deal, although to me it just sounds like Brooke was hanging out with some of her best gay friends (clue: Hermes) and they were maybe a bit drunk and they didn?t want to be bothered. Britney Spears hit her Web site Wednesday (October 28) to announce that the video for her provocative single "3" would debut in "1...2...3" days. She also promised fans some revealing sneak peeks before the clip's Friday premiere.
"1...2...3 days until the premiere of my new video, but don't stress," she wrote on BritneySpears.com. "I will be sending out lots of pics and clips for the next 3 days."
The pop princess has already delivered two pictures from the video on her Twitter page: one of her holding her hair up on her head and an innocent-looking close-up.

Spears has been teasing fans with "3" video news for a while now, posting pictures and details from the clip's set on her Twitter and Web site. "I am so happy y'all love it because I do this all for you," she tweeted October 14. "I can't wait till you see the video!" The week before, she informed her followers, "2nd day shooting my 3 video in LA with Diane Martel. Lot's of new choreography from Tone & Rich. It's gonna be hot!"
Spears also took to Twitter to thank her fans for making her new track an instant hit. "I want to thank my fans for making '3' the #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100," she tweeted. "I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world."
With "3," Spears is the first artist to break onto the singles chart at #1 since Taylor Hicks did it three years ago, and she's the first non-"American Idol" alum to pull off that feat since Lauryn Hill broke into the Hot 100 with "Doo Wop (That Thing)" in 1998.
