July 21st, yesterday, was the one-year anniversary of Joe Biden stepping down from his reelection campaign. To mark the occasion, President Biden?s only living son gave an absolutely incredible interview to Andrew Callaghan. I?m now prepared to either marry Hunter Biden or vote for Hunter for president. Hunter spoke about everything that happened last year during the election, including how many Democrats knifed his father in the back. Hunter called out the party?s pod-bro pundit class, the white millionaires who are still milking their association with Barack Obama after sixteen years. Hunter also spoke about what happened during President Biden?s debate last year. Some highlights:
His father?s poor debate performance: ?I know exactly what happened in that debate, Hunter, 55, claimed. He flew around the world, the mileage that he could have flown around the world three times. Hes 81 years old. Hes tired as s. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep, he gets up on the stage and looks like a deer in the headlights.
On George Clooney: Hunter offered a particularly scathing takedown of George Clooney, who famously penned an op-ed for The New York Times in July 2024 that publicly urged Biden to drop out of the race. F him and everybody around him. I dont have to be f nice, the former first son said. George Clooney is not an actor. Hes a I dont know what he is. Hes a brand?.F you, Hunter continued, as if speaking to Clooney directly. What do you have to do with anything? Why do I have to listen to you? What right do you have to step on a man whos given 52 years of his f life to the service of his country and decide that you, George Clooney, are gonna take out basically a full-page ad in The New York Times and replace their judgment over his?
On David Axelrod: David Axelrod had one success in his political life, and that was Barack Obama, and that was because of Barack Obama.?
On Jake Tapper: What influence does Jake Tapper have over anything? He has the smallest audience on cable news.?
[From People]
The Ambien thing? I remember some subdued speculation online that someone dosed President Biden just before the debate it wasn?t just that Biden was sleepy or tired, he seemed drugged to some people. It?s worth considering, especially since that debate performance changed the course of American history. Hunter also calls out many Democrats by name, including Nancy Pelosi and everyone who wanted a pipe-dream ?mini-primary? at this time last year. I wish he had gone even harder on Clooney, honestly.
In this clip, below, Hunter rips into the Pod Bro douchebags who are ?four white millionaires dining out on their association with Barack Obama from 16 years ago.? Hunter analyzes how all of the ?Democratic intelligentsia? underestimated Biden?s 2020 campaign and lied about his administration. Honestly, give Hunter his own podcast this analysis is dead-on.

| Nicole Kidman shared a video from the first day of filming Practical Magic 2 | Added 7 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

We?ve got another Practical Magic 2 update! The last bit of new information we got was back in May, when we learned that the Owens sisters? sequel would be released on September 18, 2026. Now we have confirmation that filming is officially underway! Last Friday, Nicole Kidman, who plays Gillian Owens, posted an on set video with Sandra Bullock, who plays her characters younger sister, Sally. Theyre hugging in the video as Sandra says, ?Turns out we have a lot of work to do.?
The Owens sisters are back. Nicole Kidman posted a video on her Instagram Friday of herself and Sandra Bullock filming on their first day on the set of ?Practical Magic 2.? In the video, Kidman is seen embracing Bullock as they stand in front of a headstone at a cemetery. ?The witches are back,? the caption reads. ?Owens sisters? first day on set!?
Bullock and Kidman are reprising their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who descend from a long line of witches. In the 1998 original, based on the novel by Alice Hoffman, the two witches find themselves fighting off a curse that kills the men they fall in love with. Plot details for the second film have not been disclosed, though the story is reportedly based on a later installment in Hoffman?s ?Practical Magic? book series.
Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing will reprise their roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances ?Fran? Owens, respectively. Additional cast members include Lee Pace (?Bodies Bodies Bodies?), Joey King (?The Act?), Maisie Williams (?Game of Thrones?), Xolo Mariduea (?Blue Beetle?) and Solly McLeod (?The Dead Don?t Hurt?).
Susanne Bier (?Bird Box?) is directing from a screenplay co-written by Akiva Goldsman, who also co-wrote the original, and Georgia Pritchett (?Succession?).
Earlier this year, Kidman told Variety?s Marc Malkin that she and Bullock were already thinking about a follow-up when they shot the first film. ?When we were making it, we definitely did,? Kidman said. ?We?re so excited. Yes, yes, beyond excited. You heard our spell. We put out our spell already.?
[From Variety]
The first comment that pops up for me on Nicole?s video is from Reese Witherspoon, which says, ?Makes me SO HAPPY!? I?m with Reese here. This makes me so happy! Judging by their clothing, it appears that even if the storyline takes place in the present day, both sisters have retained their original sense of style. I wonder if this clip is setting up whatever shenanigans the Owens family gets into. I bet we see it in a teaser trailer.
Last week, Evan Rachel Wood confirmed that she is not returning to reprise her role as Sally?s daughter Kylie. Rachel said in an Instagram Story that Kylie?s role has been recast, even though she wanted to come back and reached out to producers to let them know. It?s exciting that Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing are back as Aunt Franny and Aunt Jet, though! I know they?ll bring their usual badass-ness to the sequel. As for new cast members, Joey King is playing one of Sally?s daughters, but it hasn?t been confirmed which one. There?s no official word on what roles Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, Xolo Mariduea and Solly McLeod are playing.

| Jennifer Love Hewitt was worried what people would say about her now vs. at 18 | Added 7 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot came out in theaters this past weekend. It features a whole new group of young actors being stalked by a man with a fishhook, with original series stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. back to reprise their roles. For J.Love, this actually marks her first live-action film role since 2012. (She currently stars in the Ryan Murphy series, 9-1-1.) Last week, Jennifer made headlines for her appearance at the movie?s LA premiere because trolls decided to point out that she looks like a normal, beautiful woman in her 40s.
J.Love recently sat down with NY Mag. She said that she almost didn?t do the film, mainly beccause of the why the press has always covered her body. She also described just how awful it was to live through the early aughts when everyone had an opinion on her body. You can read the interview here and here are some highlights:
She was worried about people commenting on her appearance: At first, Hewitt?wasn?t sure she wanted to go back. ?All of my friends had to talk me into it,? she says. ?Literally up until the last night before shooting, they were like, ?You know you?re going tomorrow, right??? I ask what made her so anxious, and she answers matter-of-factly: ?What people were going to say about how much older I would seem than when I was 18. That?s literally the only thing I was anxious about.?
When fame became a ?blood sport?: Hewitt is one of a handful of three-named, Neutrogena-splashed stars (Prinze Jr., Gellar, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Rachael Leigh Cook, Melissa Joan Hart) who rose to fame in the 1990s and enjoyed a brief moment of semi-harmless, Teen People?flavored celebrity attention. That is, until the early aughts, when Perez Hilton and his ilk transformed being famous into a blood sport featuring the public, the paparazzi, and their primarily female prey. By then, Hewitt was beloved both on TV?and in film?and she caught some of the worst of it. Reading her old press clips, in which men and women alike refer glibly or grossly to her breasts, is like entering a cursed Y2K-hole where ?MMMBop? is playing on loop and Carson Daly won?t stop laughing at you.
The Britney documentary was eye-opening: Hewitt says she recognized how much it had all messed with her head only a few years ago when she watched the documentary Framing Britney Spears, which covers, among other things, the misogynistic treatment the singer received from the media and the public. ?When I started watching it, I was like, Oh, they talked to me like that. Oh. I started crying for her. And then I realized I was crying for me.?
The super gross coverage she used to get: Our conversation turns to the resulting press for the film. It?s more difficult to find a clip from Hewitt?s past that doesn?t mention her body than one that does and often in a way that otherwise disparages her. Here?s just one example, from Tamara Ikenberg in the Baltimore Sun: ?It is not clear, exactly, what Jennifer Love Hewitt can do besides inspire legions of boys to glance glandularly at the I Know What You Did Last Summer movie poster, which features Love in a rather cozy tank top.? Another, the same year, from Frazier Moore of the AP: ?It is hard to explain how you feel in the company of Jennifer Love Hewitt. But here goes. Just taking lunch with her, you feel a little like a dirty old man. Not because she?s 20 and charming and you?re old enough to be her father. But because you?re an adult and she?s so fresh-faced, sparkling and childlike. Yet you know darn well she?s not a child.? And from a Fort Worth Star-Telegram review of the sequel: ?Hewitt does have some things going for her, none of which have much to do with acting. She is, however, one of the all-time screamers in movie history, as this movie frequently reminds us. She also has that face ? and let?s be honest ? that body, which the movie finds an excuse to clad in a bikini.?
That gross Jay Leno interview: While doing movie publicity, Hewitt tried to turn the unwanted attention on her body into a joke. ?I was known as ?the girl who laughed her way through The Tonight Show.? I just couldn?t stop laughing,? she says, referring to her 1996 appearance at age 16. ?I was trying to be like, I?m not overly sexy! I?m a nerd! I?ve referred to myself a lot as a dork, and I wasn?t aware of it at that time but, looking back, that was my way of saying, ?That?s not me.?? On the show, Jay Leno asks Hewitt about her love life; he asks her how old she is. When she replies, he looks disappointedly at the audience, then asks when she?ll turn 17.
That 2007 People cover of her in a bikini on the beach: ?I was having the time of my life,? she says. ?I had made up the dumbest song about eating snacks and playing in the ocean, and I was singing it to my boyfriend out loud, doing some weird dance move, and they got the picture and then it was on the cover.? She was devastated. ?I don?t think I was ever really insecure until that cover. And then when it happened, I don?t know that I?ve ever recovered from it,? she says. ?Because there?s a part of me that?s always like, Is this version going to be good enough, or is that going to happen again? Where somebody?s going to be like, ?Hey, this is her without makeup at the cleaners. She looks 59??
?I think that?s why the insecurity carried on. I don?t know if I?ve even ever put that together for myself other than right now.? She laughs despite herself? Her mother comforted her at the time by pointing out something she had never quite realized. ?She was like, ?You don?t get it. You can?t win. This is just people having a problem with the version of you they think belongs to them.? And she said, ?Take your power back. Belong to yourself, and don?t worry about it.??
[From Vulture]
I feel terrible for what Jennifer went through. I can absolutely see how the Britney doc could have been a wake-up call for J.Love and all of the stars from that era. They all went through some things. The way that people, especially adult men, felt like they could objectify her is sickening. I completely understand why she would be hesitant to put herself out there again and invite comparisons about her teenage body vs her now. That is an uneven playing field!
The negative opinions over Jennifers red carpet appearance were also very dumb because she looked gorgeous and confident. I?m glad that Jennifers found ways to protect her mental health and overall peace, and Im so grateful that she put herself out there. I sincerely hope that she can ignore the noise and continue being the bad-ass icon that Gen X/Millennials know her to be.

| Gwyneth Paltrow told friends that Brad Pitt 'has terrible taste in women' | Added 19 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Amy Odell has written Gwyneth Paltrow: A Biography. Odell smartly gave out excerpts of the book to People Magazine and other outlets, and it?s creating so much buzz for the book. The excerpts are mostly focused on Gwyneth?s 1990s heyday, when she was the biggest It Girl ever and she went from being engaged to Brad Pitt to a chaotic on-and-off thing with Ben Affleck. Judging solely by our comment section, there are a lot of ?90s girls who remember all of this well, and it?s nice to have some vintage gossip. Well, here?s something even more fun: remember how Gwyneth dissed Jennifer Aniston several times? Remember when Gwyneth dismissively referred to Aniston ?that TV girl? when Brad Pitt and Aniston were dating? Well, if you can believe it, Gwyneth also bad-mouthed Pitt & Aniston privately too.
Gwyneth Paltrow, now 52, and Pitt, now 61, began dating after working together on David Fincher?s horror classic Se7en in 1994, got engaged in 1996 and split in 1997. As revealed in Amy Odell?s upcoming Gwyneth: The Biography, Paltrow, had a mournful reaction to Pitt?s 1999 much-covered wedding to fellow A-lister Jennifer Aniston ? not that she shared it with the public.
As Odell writes, Paltrow got snappy during a September 2000 interview at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Duets (starring Gwyneth and directed by her later father, Bruce Paltrow), calling a reporter ?very gossipy? for a question about another ex, Ben Affleck. Things didn?t improve from there, as revealed in this book excerpt exclusive to Us Weekly:
The reporter then asked how she felt about Brad Pitt marrying Jennifer Aniston [in July of that year]. ?Are you really asking me this question?? Gwyneth replied, her eyes now ?daggers.? ?I can?t comment on this kind of thing.? In reality, Gwyneth confided to friends that she?d felt sad when she learned they were getting married. (She was also fond of telling them that Brad ?has terrible taste in women.?)
As most readers of Us likely recall, Pitt and Aniston got engaged in November 1999 and wed in Malibu on July 29, 2000 ? ultimately divorcing five years later, in October 2005, as Pitt?s romance with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie heated up. That same year, during a business meeting with Aerin Lauder ? a fellow Manhattan socialite and part of the Estee Lauder cosmetics dynasty which would sign Paltrow as the face of its Pleasures fragrance ? she couldn?t resist taking a shot, Odell writes:
At one dinner, the two were talking about Brad Pitt. According to someone familiar with the discussion, Gwyneth allegedly told her, ?He?s dumber than a sack of s?t.?
?He was brought up very religious, in Missouri,? Odell told People of the stark contrast between Paltrow and Pitt. ?It?s just a very different world from hers, growing up in Manhattan, going to [elite private school] Spence, I think she thought he wasn?t sophisticated enough for her. She thought she was smarter, better educated, more sophisticated.?
[From Us Weekly]
The thing is, I think we?ve established that Gwyneth had good reasons for breaking off her engagement to Brad, and she was probably very happy to be out of that relationship. But in true Gwyneth fashion, she was just furious that Brad moved on to a different famous woman, and a television actress at that! As for Gwyneth telling people that Brad ?has terrible taste in women? lmao, what a self-own. I wonder if this biography contains any gossip about Gwyneth?s thoughts on Angelina Jolie? They worked together at one point and I don?t recall Gwyneth saying anything particularly juicy or noteworthy about Jolie in public. I?m sure she had many thoughts privately though.

| Mail: The Sussexes' lifestyle costs $4 million a year, which they can easily afford! | Added 19 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
The Daily Mail published yet another breakdown of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex?s finances. If the royalist talking point is ?the Sussexes don?t matter, they?re not relevant to the monarchy,? then why all of this monthly pocket-watching? Why do reporters consistently ?forget? about various revenue streams for Harry and Meghan? Why does anyone in the UK worry about Harry and Meghan?s finances considering they are not receiving one cent from British taxpayers? I?ll spare you much of the forced melodrama of this new piece, but there were some sections I wanted to discuss:
What?s going on with Meghan?s ShopMy page? When she started posting links on the ShopMy e-commerce site, some thought that this was going to prove an irresistible source of serious income for the Duchess of Sussex. After an initial flurry on the site? Meghan has fallen silent. Indeed, she?s not posted in over two months on ShopMy and it seems that her ranking has dropped from icon to enthusiast as a result. While she continues to appear regularly on her own Instagram page and that of her brand, As Ever, she or her team are not linking through for ?easy money?. Maybe the rewards didn?t justify the (minimal) effort, or maybe she just doesn?t need the cash? A spokesman for the couple did not respond to requests for clarification but a source says that ? however lucrative ? this potential revenue stream is simply not important to her. ?Her current priorities are centred on As Ever and expanding her business ventures. ShopMy represents an exploration into social media that she enjoys.? The source adds: ?The duchess has consistently approached ShopMy with a focus on authentically sharing products and designers she supports, particularly female founders she wants to uplift.?
Meghan wasn?t featured in the Montecito Journal: That said, for someone with Gwyneth Paltrow-Goop-style aspirations, Meghan isn?t even mentioned in the latest edition of the Montecito Journal, which has ?Female Founders? and philanthropists in Montecito as its cover story this month. Dozens of local women are featured, but Meghan does not make the cut. That must hurt.
The Sussexes? lifestyle costs $4 million a year: The couple are widely reported to have taken out a mortgage, with repayments apparently standing at $480,000 a year. On top of this, property tax will be a further $68,000 a year. Utilities are estimated at $24,000 a year, staffing costs $250,000 and security ? always a priority for Prince Harry, who made two tours of duty in Afghanistan with the Army Air Corps ? is said to cost up to $3million a year. It all adds up to needing to clear around $4million a year after tax, which is quite a task.
The Netflix deal: If Harry and Meghan had really been getting $100million over five years from Netflix at a steady rate of $20million a year, then you could consider it taken care of. But a source with knowledge of the Netflix deal say it?s never worked out like that. They said: ?From speaking to someone with knowledge of the deal, it looks like they?ve probably managed to maybe keep $10million-$15million or a touch more purely for themselves over the nearly five years so far ? not bad business, but that kind of money doesn?t last long with their lifestyle. Netflix paid for the production of [the tell-all hit documentary series] Harry & Meghan, which would have included a big fee for them. I?d guess [the money Netflix spent on it] works out at $20million all-in.?
But Netflix is going to renew their deal: Yet the expectation remains that their Netflix deal will be renewed. I?m told Ted Sarandos thinks Meghan is a ?rock star? and will announce the deal renewal and a third series of With Love, Meghan, around the same time that the second, already filmed season, is screened later this year. It?s likely that Netflix won?t be so keen on briefing about the size of their commitment for the show: It?s probable that they?ll pay Meghan between $3-$5million a year for it.
As Ever?s success: What?s changed is that Meghan now has a ?sell-out? personal brand in As Ever, which, notably, is a partnership with Netflix. After selling out her jams, sprinkles and cookie mixes, she has now added a sell-out rose wine, though admittedly she has never revealed the quantities of stock for any of these products. Everything which she puts her name to goes like a rocket and it looks as if the former actress is going to be the chief breadwinner of the Sussex family by a country mile, with Harry financially trailing in her wake. What a turn-around from the situation when they met ? when she was a modestly successful TV actress and he was a prince with great prospects.
Prince Harry?s income: He still has two paying jobs, one with Travalyst ? a company that promotes sustainable tourism ? and one with the coaching company BetterUp, where he is the chief impact officer, which is understood to be the more highly paid. The Atlanta company reports revenues of $215million in 2024, sharply up from $151million in 2023.
[From The Daily Mail]
You get the idea. Alison Boshoff did explain why she was so focused on H&M?s money it?s because she was idly wondering if the Sussexes were desperate for King Charles?s funding, as in, that was the ?real reason? why Harry & Charles?s reps met in London. Anyway, all of the stuff about their first Netflix deal is BS I honestly believe that since they signed with Netflix, they have been doing very well financially. It also speaks volumes to me that Boshoff left off the tens of millions of dollars Harry made from his memoir, Spare. She also ignored the investments Harry and Meghan have made in other businesses, like Meghan?s investment in Cesta Collective and Clevr Blends. That being said, I find it fascinating that Meghan hasn?t updated her ShopMy page in two months. She really is focused on As Ever right now. I also suspect that she?ll update ShopMy when the second season of With Love, Meghan comes out (surely??), but Meghan sold out three product drops in a row and she must be like ?sh-t, I really need to build this company and become a billionaire.? Even in the Mail?s craziest deranger-fiction, Meghan is still super-successful and well-liked by Netflix.
