| Emma Watson: Rumors of my engagement or 'dormant career' are just clickbait | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Emma Watson?s most recent acting job was in Greta Gerwig?s Little Women, which came out in late 2019 (and filmed in early 2019, I believe). Since then, Emma hasn?t scheduled any acting jobs and we can go months without hearing from her or about her. She seems focused on her work on women?s issues, feminism and literature, and I said even back in 2019 that her heart didn?t seem like it was in acting anymore. In February, the Daily Mail?s Talk of the Town gossip column reported that Emma had ?gone dormant? with her acting career and she had basically retired from acting. Then her agent who was quoted in the DM column released a terse statement saying that Emma?s social media is dormant but her career is not. It was a lot! Especially since most people were like ?good for her, it?s wise to take some time off and/or switch careers when you find other passions.? In any case, three months after those ?retirement? stories, Emma has made a statement on her no-longer-dormant Twitter:
Dear Fans,
Rumours about whether I?m engaged or not, or whether my career is ?dormant or not? are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue.
If I have news I promise I?ll share it with you.
In the mean time please assume no news from me just means I?m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.
I am sending so much love to you, hoping you?re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well.
E
Xx

Nothing says ?I?ve checked out and IDGAF? like denying a story three months after the fact! I mean, I think Emma was aware of the ?retirement? story in February and that?s why her agent suddenly denied the story (which he had likely planted in the first place). So why this update? I honestly don?t know. I?m sure there were rumors on social media about an engagement or something, but that happens all the time with everyone. Emma does keep her personal life on lockdown, and I haven?t heard anything recently (then again, I don?t pay attention to Emma?s online fandom). In any case, Emma is fine and she?s still taking the pandemic seriously, as we all should be.

After moving to London for a few years, it seems like Rihanna is back in LA somewhat permanently? At the very least, she?s been in LA for what feels like most of 2021. We know that because she steps out with some regularity, usually role modeling good mask-wearing behavior, as she goes out to dinner or hangs out with friends. For a while, Rihanna had been rocking the same long-hair look. But then in the beginning of May, suddenly Rihanna cut it all off!! We?re back in a Rihanna Pixie Era!
Rihanna stepped out last night in LA. She went to Nobu with friends and she looked pretty amazing. She?s lost weight over the past year, right? For a while, she seemed to embrace a curvier aesthetic and the added weight looked amazing on her. But after her split with Hassan Jameel in January 2020, she moved away from London and started losing weight. And now she?s back to the pixie too, which she hasn?t had in many, many years. It feels like Rihanna is one of those celebrities who will be especially wild post-pandemic? She?s going to have some FUN this summer. I wonder who?s on her 2021 hit list. (Also: look at her little purse!!!)
Here?s a photo from May 5th, when we got the first look at her pixie. The pandemic and mask-wearing in general has finally broken Rihanna of her habit of stealing wine glasses from restaurants and leaving dinner with a to-go drink.

| Paris Hilton 'still trying to convince' fianc' to be in the show about their wedding | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum got engaged in February. As of this writing, I cannot find that they have set a wedding date. I tried asking Google but couldn?t find it anywhere. Prior to my internet search, I was going to write that I think Paris and Carter will actually make it down the aisle. As many of your know, Paris has been engaged three times before Carter but all of them were broken off, I believe, before a wedding date was set. However, it looks like what?s holding off this wedding is an air date, Apparently Paris is planning on filming the whole lead up to the wedding including selecting her dress, her bachelorette party, preparing for her ceremony, the Big Event, etc. But there?s a wrinkle in her negotiations: the groom doesn?t want any part of it.
(Paris) Hilton is in full wedding-planning mode, saying she will get married this year and the whole thing is being shot for a show. ?Yes, we are planning it right now,? she said, ?[And] doing the TV show with it as well, so everyone will get to see all of the magical moments.?
Terri (Seymour) asked if Carter was on board with the idea for the show: ?No, I?m still trying to convince him,? Paris said. ?He doesn?t like the camera. He doesn?t do red carpets, doesn?t do interviews. He?s so focused on his business, and I love that about him. And you don?t know if they want him for you or attention and it?s not like that with him at all, so it?s different from any relationship, and I like that he shies away from that.?
The whole thing will be documented, including the ceremony, she revealed. ?Prepping for it, getting ready, the bachelorette party, picking out my dresses ? there?s going to be a lot of beautiful moments.?
[From Extra]
If Paris is getting married this year, then she has to have a date and location set by now. I get that the pandemic has probably made it much easier to book, but a socialite at Paris? level would definitely have something nailed down by mid-May, surely. So it?s a secret? I don?t understand. I also don?t understand Pariss logic in that Carter?s disdain for the camera is what she loves about him, so she?s trying to shove one in his face on the biggest day of his life. If she truly loved that about him, she would respect his wishes. On the other hand, it?s not like Carter didn?t know who he was dating. He had to know cameras would be there for the rest of his life with Paris. Their engagement was just a sampler of things to come, so his refusal to participate in this wedding show is almost silly. What are they going to do, blur his image in the final footage?
And I?m sorry, but no one gets to declare moments beautiful before they happen. Sure, many moments in a wedding are emotional but they are beautiful because of what how people feel when they happen. If Paris declares them beautiful before they ever happen it may be perceived as, I dunno ? fabricated.

| Ariana Grande & Dalton Gomez had an 'intimate' wedding in her Montecito home | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The pandemic has brought out two extremes in celebrities. On one side, people who used to enjoy the limelight are now eschewing it for quieter, more lowkey vibes, sometimes because this past year was the first time they had a real break in a while (and they enjoyed it). The other extreme is the group of celebrities who seem to be bursting and demanding that people pay attention to them now. Think, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, etc. Ariana Grande seems to be the former, although to be fair, she was already starting to go more lowkey before the pandemic arrived. She?s grown up a lot from her donut-licking days and she settled down with Dalton Gomez about a year and a half ago. They weathered the pandemic together, and they got engaged last December. Now, surprise, they had a pandemic wedding!
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have tied the knot!
They got married, Grandes rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. It was tiny and intimate ? less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldnt be happier.
TMZ was first to report that the ceremony occurred at the couples home in Montecito, California. Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there, a source tells PEOPLE. It seems only natural that they would get married at Aris beautiful and historic house.
Grande, 27, announced her engagement to Gomez, a 25-year-old real estate agent, in December when she posted a photo of her ring along with the caption, Forever n then some. They started dating in January 2020 and spent the pandemic social distancing at her L.A. home.
They couldnt be happier, theyre just so excited. This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled, a source told PEOPLE at the time.

I actually didn?t know that Ari had a house in Montecito. I thought she had a place in LA and that?s where she and Dalton spent the pandemic. It?s possible she does have a place in LA and Montecito, obviously. And then she just did a small family wedding at her Montecito pad. Nice! I wonder if Meghan and Harry were invited? And Oprah, gotta invite Oprah. No, good for them. I?m very curious about her dress and I wonder if she will eventually post some photos. We got to see her ring and I still don?t like it. I can only imagine what princess-y ball gown she chose for her wedding.
