Promoting her new album Blown Away, Carrie Underwood was spotted greeting fans and signing copies of her CD at HMV Oxford Street. London, England on Wednesday (June 20).
The "Good Girl" songstress showed off her toned legs in a short and lacy Pink dress that she paired with a leather jacket and black peep-toe booties while proudly holding up copies of her just-released album.
Not long after voicing her support for gay marriage, Carrie was the recipient of a ton of backlash, of which she explained to The Associated Press during an interview on Tuesday, "I was asked a difficult question in the last five minutes of an interview and I answered it the best way I knew how, and after that I do what I do and I love making music and I generally try to stay out of any kind of controversy."
However, the 29-year-old country singer doesn't really consider herself a role model, admitting, "The role-model word is really scary to me, because no matter what happens in your life, something you do, wear, say, sing, whatever - somebody somewhere is probably not going to like it too well, I just really try hard to do what I do and try to be nice to people and make great music and if people think they can look up to that, that's wonderful. If not, that's OK too."
Along with a full slate of promotional duties in London this week, Carrie is expected to perform at a sold-out show on Thursday at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Hard at work on her latest film, Julianne Hough was spotted making her way around the Wilmington, NC set of her new flick, "Safe Haven" on Wednesday (June 20).
The "Rock of Ages" beauty looked fabulous in a figure-hugging purple dress while sporting some new darker locks. Earlier in the day, Miss Hough was also seen getting in her morning caffeine fix with a cup of coffee to get her through the long day.
Though filming requires hard work and extra long hours, it looks like Julianne is loving her latest project as she took to her Twitter page earlier today, writing, "Yesterday was so great on the set of Safe Haven! Lasse Hallstrom (director) is pure genius! On my way back today to go play make believe!"
In the new Lasse Hallstrom directed movie, a young woman with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her.
The romantic film, which is based off of renowned author Nicholas Sparks' novel, is due out in theaters on February 8, 2013.

Sofia Vergara covers the Spanish July issue of Vanity Fair, and she’s smoking a ciggie in grand fashion from the front of the magazine. Yes, I get this is an obvious “she’s smoking hot” message dreamt up by the photographer and approved by VF itself; but in this day and age, it’s a bit shocking to see what is essentially an advertisement for cigarettes on the cover of a (fairly) well-respected magazine. Maybe I’m making too big of a deal out of a silly metaphor though.
As for the other shot released by Vanity Fair, Sofia looks absolutely gorgeous in a tight black dress. I’m also envious of her highlights as I am obsessed with achieving the perfect set of subtle highlights. My current hairstylist does a pretty good job, but I’m thinking of taking this photo to her on my next visit.
Meanwhile, Sofia’s on-off boyfriend, politician Nick Loeb, is spitting mad at recent allegations in National Enquirer that he loves a good prostitute, Viagra, and Ecstasy cocktail on occasion. He’s not only publicly refuting these allegations but is also threatening to sue:

Sofia Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb–who recently was accused of getting wild and crazy with a few call girls and living a Charlie-Sheen like adventure while dating the stunning Vergara–is adamantly denying the allegations made by the tabloid, The National Enquirer.
Loeb, who was mulling a U.S. Senate bid for almost a year, says the rumors are simply not true.
“My first priority is to protect the people I love, and I hope they are not impacted by these lies and irresponsible reports,” Loeb told the New York Post.
“I am mortified that false illicit behavior has been attributed to me,” he added. “It’s hurtful and unfair.”
The gossip comes just days after Vergara and Loeb reconciled–after a brief breakup due to repeated arguments.
The New York Post says Loeb, who is the grandson one of the Lehman Brothers, is mulling taking legal action against the tabloid for spreading false rumors.

Yes, that’s all well and good to say that the allegations are nonsense and potentially hurtful. But will he actually do something about it and sue the tabloid, or is he just throwing shade? That’s the ultimate question.

At last night’s premiere of HBO’s “The Newsroom,” a little bit of steam was present on the red carpet, and it wasn’t coming from hopeful suspect Olivia Munn. Instead, there was a hot new couple on the scene in the unlikely form of Aaron Sorkin and Kristen Davis. Okay, so “hot” is a relative term when it comes to Sorkin, but he’s an obviously intelligent man, which is an attractive trait in its own right. As for Kristen, I’ve always found to not only be impossibly pretty but also a very underrated actress. She went from playing a psychotic, obsessive freak in the original “Melrose Place” to playing goody-two-shoes Charlotte in “Sex and the City,” but she’s unfortunately been relegated to “mom in the background” types of roles ever since then. Anyway, she looks quite taken with Aaron and he with her. After weeks of speculation, the “Sex and the City” star, 47, and famed screenwriter Aaron Sorkin confirmed their rumored romance — with a passionate kiss on the lips on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of HBO series “The Newsroom” Wednesday night.
With plenty of cameras present to capture the moment, 51-year-old Sorkin (creator and executive producer of Newsroom) grabbed Davis and gave a long, lingering kiss. Davis, pretty in an A-line aquamarine dress and strappy stilettos, grabbed her new man by the shoulders.
“They are really happy,” a source told E! News in late May. “They have actually known each other a while through mutual friends and would sometimes bump into one another at industry events, but it has only just turned into something more.”
The Oscar-winning screenwriter divorced Julia Bingham back in 2005; they share daughter Roxy, 12. Never-married Davis adopted a baby girl, Gemma, last year.

Good for Kristen and Aaron. They have that look of smitten romance, and who knows? This could be something real. As for “The Newsroom” vamp-in-residence, Olivia Munn, she was there too and gorgeous in white but also looking pretty full of herself as well. Kaiser mentioned that Olivia was holding herself out as if “she’s arrived,” but I’d like to note that her name isn’t exactly top billing on that poster behind her. Still, this show is a great opportunity for Olivia to show her stuff, if she’s got it, and only time will tell on that note.

The "Twilight" star kept it simple in a black dress and gold heels while test driving the sharing capabilities of the new Galaxy S III and greeting the lucky 500 Samsung fans who were granted access to the event in the SoHo area of NYC.
Ashley took to Twitter right before the event to gush, "So excited to be hosting the @samsungmobileus ?#GalaxySIII? launch! Can't wait to see Sebastian Ingross perform!", then tweeted the next morning, "Both he and the party were awesome!"

Last night, To Rome With Love had a special screening in NYC, Woody Allen?s hometown (although he?s been spending a lot of time in Europe these days). As you can imagine, tons of celebrities came out for the screening, making this one of the most interesting red carpets in a while. Unfortunately, I keep hearing that To Rome With Love is a POS. Oh, well. Woody averages about 2 crappy films per one good-to-decent one. And yes, I am a defender of Woody?s good films – I love Annie Hall, Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway, Match Point and Sweet and Lowdown. I liked Vicky Christina Barcelona and Midnight In Paris too. Anyway?

Call me Xenu, but I actually think Katie Holmes looks really good in these photos. Katie was out and about yesterday in NYC, and you can yell at me all you want, but I would love to have her bag AND her blouse. I?m crazy in love with her blouse. Does anyone know where I can get a blouse like that? Thanks. Of course, Katie continued her trend of wearing unflattering jeans, although these look like jeggings to me, not skinny jeans. Whatever they are, they are not cute on her at all. But from the waist up, she looks really good – better than she?s looked the past few months.
Bedhead (working from some tabloids) theorized that Katie was purposefully looking like crap as a way to ?get back? at Tom, because he?s so anal retentive and demanding (and unhinged). The mag goes on to claim that ?tension?s been building as Tom?s filmed one movie after another in Germany, Russia, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, leaving Katie to care for Suri like a single mother ? and feeling depressed over her stalled career.?
Life & Style notes Holmes accepted an invitation to attend a skating event in Asia ?because she?s trying to fill the void in her life while her workaholic husband focuses on his job.?
?With all the distance between them,? writes the mag ominously, ?their marriage is in full-blown crisis.?
While it?s true the two stars are often in far off locales filming movies, their marriage is NOT in ?crisis.?
A source close to Cruise tells Gossip Cop the Life & Style piece is untrue, and points out that the actor, Holmes and their daughter Suri spent several days, including Father?s Day, in Iceland together.

Yes, they spent Father?s Day together, but that was the first time they were together in, like, MONTHS. I do think something is up with them. I read Anna Karenina years and years ago. I probably read it before I could actually understand the denseness of Leo Tolstoy?s prose, and as such, I really only remember small fragments of the book. I should go back and re-read it, shouldn?t I? I should. Anyway, after I read it, I somehow managed to avoid all of film and television adaptations, so when I go into to see this new version – directed by Joe Wright, adapted for the screen by Tom Stoppard – the story will be fresh and new to me.
I actually think Joe Wright is a very talented director, one of the rare modern directors who can make a period costume drama feel contemporary and fresh. I loved his film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, which also starred Keira Knightley (and earned her an Oscar nomination). Wright and Knightley worked together again in Atonement, a film that I ended up hating. It?s not really Keira?s fault or Joe Wright?s fault – I can?t stand Ian McEwan?s writing. The plots of his books are always asinine.
Anyway, back to Anna Karenina. Keira and Joe Wright reunite for their third film together, and this time it?s a doozy. Keira is Anna. Jude Law plays her husband. Aaron Johnson plays Vronsky, Anna?s lover. The cast also includes Matthew Macfadyen (Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice!!), Kelly MacDonald, Emily Watson, Ruth Wilson, Olivia Williams and Michelle Dockery (from Downton Abbey!). Katy Perry appears in the latest issue of Hollywood Reporter to promote her upcoming 3-D movie, Part of Me. If you can believe it, Katy earned $44 million last year, which is even more than highest paid-actress Kristen Stewart’s $34.5 million paycheck. Naturally, Katy isn’t done grabbing your dollars by a long shot and is still capitalizing upon her divorce from Russell Brand, who requested to be removed from her movie, but Katy said no way. Now Katy has sat down for an interview with Hollywood Reporter (because she’s now a producer, yo), and discusses many things, including the short-lived “Kardsashian” marraige, but she’s essentially talking about herself. Here are some excerpts:
On the Kardashian wedding mess: “Nobody knows what really happened except the two people who are in it.”
She invested $2 mill in the Part of Me movie: “My frugal business manager, God bless him, was sweating, and I was like, ‘Please trust me.’ That’s kind of been the mantra I’ve said to everyone my whole life” ‘Trust me, I have a vision.’”
On songwriting: “Honesty has always worked for me. So if it ain’t broke, why f–ing fix it?” That transparency includes candid moments in the movie, which, two years ago, Perry readily admits she “wouldn’t feel completely comfortable with people seeing — me crying or looking like a hot mess. What was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eye sockets and not my false lashes just as I’m about to go up on that ramp and sing ‘Teenage Dream.’ I had to smack myself across the face and say, ‘These problems are my problems, they are not my audience’s problems, learn to separate that.’”
On her image: “People love the idea of a good girl gone bad, thinking that my parents were so strict and disowned me, but that actually wasn’t the case. Even though they don’t necessarily agree with some of the things I do, they love me as their daughter. That’s always been their perspective. I still have a spiritual base and a spiritual foundation. And my conversation with God is very open-ended. I pray for humility, honestly, because it’s very easy to be caught up in this world.”
Her hopes for the future: “I want to do something with my life. I want it to stand out like a sore thumb. I don’t want to just be like everyone else. I have never, like, gone outside of my body and seen myself, you know? And this is me seeing everything.”
She’s a homebody: Katy “insists she’d rather stay in than ‘go out and get twisted. … Because I probably have to wake up and work in the morning. And I have a lot more to lose.”
She’s going to open her own record label: “I’m preparing for it now.. And when this record label does come to fruition, I’m going to try and avoid the things that take away any fighting chance for an artist to have financial success. As people are coming to me with opportunities, I’m thinking, ‘How would I want to be treated?’”
Is she still “Teenage Dream” optimistic? “Absolutely. I still believe in love and marriage. I’ve just learned lessons along the way. I regret nothing.”

It’s interesting how Katy never mentions her new pseudo-hardcore goth image in this interview, right? I’ll assume that there was a purpose to this omission since everything in Katy’s (public) life is carefully calculated. And that’s not an insult either — her people are masters of manipulating audience perception.
Now let’s talk about his photoshoot just for a moment. Katy looks really demure and respectful here. The Hollywood Reporter really knows its stuff, right?

In retrospect, I probably could have been less harsh about Emma Stone?s goth-y getup in Paris two nights ago. But quite honestly, I was shocked by how different – in a bad way – she looked. She lost a lot of weight over the past year, and the blonde hair is making her look A) older, B) washed-out and C) strung-out. I know Emma-loonies always cry ?BUT SHE?S A NATURAL BLONDE!? Not really. I mean, she might have been blonde when she was a kid, but judging from her roots, she?s more of a medium-brunette. And it shows – some women simply don?t have the skin tone to pull off blonde. I think Emma is one of them. Rachel McAdams is another. Nicole Kidman too. Three women who all look younger and prettier with darker hair, and three women who insist on going for too light hair shades. UGH.
Anyway, these are photos of Emma and Andrew Garfield in Berlin yesterday. They had an Amazing Spider-Man photo call (Emma in black) and a premiere (Emma in white). The black Martin Grant dress is pretty cute – it?s simple, it?s age-appropriate, it doesn?t feel like Emma is trying to remake herself into a 44-year-old vampire. As for the white Andrew Gn for the premiere? hideous. Dated. It looks so ?80s! I swear, I?ve seen this dress in such 80s classics as Working Girl, Crocodile Dundee and Say Anything. Plus, white isn?t Emma?s color.
I guess I should start approaching Emma?s style the same way I approach Kristen Stewart?s. They?re close in age – Kristen turned 22 a few months ago, and Emma turns 24 in November. Both are girls on the rise, and their Hollywood ascent has been swift and, at times, brutal. Both are still learning about fashion and what looks good on them, and both are struggling with the idea that they have to be ?red-carpet ready? and ?looking professional? when both ladies have simpler, less fussy tastes. I just thought Emma gave a sh-t about fashion, and she found it fun – whereas it seems like Kristen really doesn?t care or find it fun. But really, they?re the same at this point? Kristen might even be coming out ahead, style-wise. My approach to K-Stew has become, ?Well, she?s learning. Every red carpet is a lesson learned.? I need to start doing that with Emma.

Did you know that there was a rumor going around that Stacy Keibler was pregnant? Truth. I mean, it?s true that the rumor was going around, although it?s tough to nail down exactly where and how it started. I don?t think Radar or Star Magazine or In Touch Weekly even picked up on the ?rumor? – and if those outlets don?t want a piece of it, you?ve got to wonder, eh? Anyway, she?s not pregnant. She ?proved? that she wasn?t by tweeting the header photo yesterday, flaunting her six-pack abs. Although? just to play devil?s advocate? I think that?s an old photo. Like, it was a photo Stacy has been carrying around on her phone and she just joined Instagram, so she used an old photo. She?s been in Italy with Clooney for more than a week now – do you really think THAT is his home gym at Lake Como?! No.
How funny would it be if Stacy actually started tweeting photos of Lake Como though? She?s been able to sneak the odd photo at Clooney?s house, hasn?t she? Under the guise of tweeting about her dog or something. God, I wish George would just let his girlfriends be full-on famewhores. I want to see more of his Como house.
Back to the pregnancy rumor – it began when people saw THIS PHOTO. Stacy with a smallish ?bump? that could have easily been a food baby or a stiff wind. Regardless, ?sources connected to The Keib? told TMZ that the pregnancy rumor was ?100% false?. The pregnancy rumors are always 100% false, have you noticed that? The more time goes by, the more I think that George definitely had a vasectomy so none of his ?girls? would have any ?accidents?.

Obviously, these are new photos of Lindsay Lohan in LA, filming Liz & Dick. She?s ?in character? can?t you tell? She?s in character because she has DARK HAIR. Just like Elizabeth Taylor!! Nothing else is like Elizabeth, though. And is it just me, or can you see Lindsay?s crack-face in these blurry photos? Like, the first thing you see are her ridiculous lips (pursed into a smug little smile) and her huge cheeks. As for that fur coat? I hope it?s fake. Real or fake, it?s totally going home with Lindsay (if it hasn?t already). She?s probably already wiped out a chunk of the wardrobe department.

Radar?s sources say that the investigation has led back to Lindsay being the source of everything to do with the accident:
The investigation into what caused Lindsay Lohan to crash into a truck on Pacific Coast Highway is winding down, and the contributing factor to the accident was the fact that the embattled actress was speeding, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
As we previously reported, Lohan, 25, rear ended the dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway on Friday, June 8. The Porsche, driven by Lindsay, was totaled and the accident sent the Mean Girls star and her assistant to the emergency room. Both were later released and miraculously didn’t suffer serious injuries.
A source close to the situation tells us, “The investigation is almost complete, and Lindsay was speeding in the moments before the accident. She was probably going ten miles over the posted speed limit, which would have been around fifty miles per hour. There were no skid marks, which indicate that Lindsay was indeed speeding and didn’t have time to even hit the brakes before she crashed into the truck. Lindsay is truly lucky to be alive, and that no one else got seriously injured. Lindsay could be cited by the Santa Monica Police Department for causing the accident, but it doesn’t seem very likely. The police report and investigation findings will be turned over to Lindsay and the trucker, James Johnson’s respective insurance companies. Lindsay’s Porsche was totaled in the accident and was a complete loss.”
Media reports circulated earlier this week that cops found a plastic bottle containing alcohol in the trunk of the car, however, Sergeant Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police Department told RadarOnlline.com, “There was no container retrieved from the vehicle. There was a container found in the debris by the side of the road but that doesn’t mean it came from the car.”
