The Kardashian family is full of excitement. One sister is pregnant, another just got married, and now Kim is looking for a new house with boyfriend Reggie Bush.
“After they got back together they were both looking for new places and decided to take the next step in their relationship,” a source told.
After the couple broke up, they reconciled in September.
Shortly after getting back together, Kim said she was going to get rid of her condo. “I love my condo, it’s beautiful. However, I feel that it’s time to move into a home. I will miss it, for sure.”
Kim didn’t say that any reasoning for moving had anything to do with she and Bush, but it has many eyebrows raised.
As far as getting back together, she says, “We just made the decision that we want to make it work, and the time off was really beneficial for the both of us. I think sometimes people need to take a break just to take time off to see how much they need each other and how much they really are compatible.”

On Wednesday, No Doubt filed a lawsuit against Activision, the publishers of "Band Hero," claiming they've been transformed "into a virtual karaoke circus act" in the new game, which allows avatars of Gwen Stefani and company to perform songs popularized by other acts.
In the suit, the band alleges that Activision exceeded the contractually approved use of the group's avatars. No Doubt contend that their contract with the video game publisher allowed for the use of their music and likenesses in "no more than three" of their own songs, but that, in the final version of "Band Hero," those likenesses are used in more than 60 songs, "Many of which include lyrics ... which are not appropriate for No Doubt and would not have been chosen by No Doubt for recordings or public performances."
In particular, the suit notes that through the use of the "Band Hero" Character Manipulation feature, No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani can be made to sing the Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Woman" — which they contend is "an unauthorized performance by the Stefani avatar in a male voice boasting about having sex with prostitutes" — and bassist Tony Kanal's avatar can be made to sing ND's "Just a Girl" in a female voice.
"Activision has deceived and confused the public into believing that No Doubt authorized the use of its name and likeness for the Character Manipulation feature of 'Band Hero,' " the suit reads. "And that No Doubt approves and endorses the appearance of its members individually performing songs that are wholly inappropriate and out of character for No Doubt."
Not surprisingly, Activision begged to differ with those claims. In a statement released to MTV News on Thursday morning (November 5), the publisher maintained that it had worked closely with No Doubt and their management in development of the "Band Hero" game and that there is a written agreement that allows for the use of their likenesses in it.
"Some of the world's most popular and iconic artists have been featured in 'Guitar Hero' as playable characters, and we are proud to count No Doubt among them. Activision has a written agreement to use No Doubt in 'Band Hero,' an agreement signed by No Doubt after extensive negotiations with its representatives, who collectively have decades of experience in the entertainment industry," the statement read. "Pursuant to that agreement, Activision worked with No Doubt and the band's management in developing 'Band Hero.' As a result, Activision believes it is within its legal rights with respect to the use and portrayal of the bandmembers in the game and that this lawsuit is without merit. Activision is exploring its own legal options with respect to No Doubt's obligations under the agreement."
Activision made similar claims earlier this year after Kurt Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, and his former Nirvana bandmates objected to the use of his likeness in the company's "Guitar Hero 5" game. Love maintained that she had never signed off on any usage and threatened to "sue the sh-- out of Activision" for breach of contract.

Ever since reports about Josh Duhamel allegedly having a one-night stand with a stripper poured forth, Fergie has been not acting herself and has been keeping quiet.
According to Us Weekly, the Black Eyed Peas singer was more cheerful in an interview with Cosmopolitan that was held before the rumors broke out.
Fergie even stated in the article what turns Duhamel on - body fat! After gaining a few pounds for her role in Nine, she said her husband “was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomach when that’s there.”
The actor is now accused of cheating on his hit-making wife with an exotic dancer.
Straying from relationship issues, Fergie also made comments about her own performance. “You know, in Italy” (where Nine takes place), “Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I’m both.”
Nine is based on the Italian film 9 and is about mid-life crisis of a director and the many women who are in his life. Fergie plays Saraghina, a prostitute from the directors’ adolescence.

America’s favorite sweetheart Sandra Bullock is in a custody battle.
The actress’s husband, Jesse James, is in a custody fight with his ex-wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, for their five-year old child.
Court documents state that Bullock and James are accusing Lindemulder of being an unsuitable mother who is married to a felon and falls asleep after drug binges.
40 year-old Lindemulder appeared in over 100 adult movies and has been released from jail recently for tax evasion.
In a recent interview, she claims she is a changed person.
“I am the best mother I can be. Yes, I have absolutely made horrific choices in the past. I’ve had my share of drugs. But then there’s a huge portion of my life, a 10-year span, where there’s nothing - I didn’t need it.”
In a letter to the judge at her sentencing, Bullock regards her concerns for the daughter’s life.
“I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant high alert,” Bullock wrote. “Never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition [the girl] will be in. I know the term ‘stepmother’ carries many connotations, one of them being ‘glorified babysitter. My commitment and responsibility to [the girl] ... goes beyond that.”
Bullock and James have received a temporary order of full custody over the little girl when Lindemulder did her six-month sentence, but the couple wants to make it permanent.
Lindemulder, however, is not giving up.
“What would give her the right to take away my daughter?” Lindemulder asks about the actress. “Sandy doesn’t know what goes on in my house. I’d love for her to. Please come over, you know, I’ll make dinner, you know, let’s sit down, [as] two women.”

A few weeks ago, I mentioned in an Emma Thompson post that she was one of the many entertainment people who signed the Roman Polanski petition. I didn?t want it to be true, this cruel, cruel cut. The thought of Emma faltering after so many years of being awesome was just too difficult for me to face. Now it looks like I can love my Emma once again - because she?s asking to have her name removed from the petition. According to Jezebel (linked from LaineyGossip), when Emma gave a scheduled speech at Exeter University a few nights ago, she was challenged (politely) by a student named Caitlin. Caitlin was heartbroken, like many of us, that Emma had signed the petition, so she organized another petition, a ?take your name off that other petition, Ms. Thompson? petition. Caitlin got 410 signatures and numerous comments, all of which she brought to the meeting she had set with Emma. Here?s what happened next, according to Caitlin (via Jezebel):
Emma did not have much time between meetings, but she gave me all of the time that she had. I asked her why she had signed the petition, and she explained about how well she knows Polanski, how terrible his life has been, and how forgiving the survivor of the rape all those years ago now is.
She said she thought the intentions of the judge were unclear, as were the intentions of those who arrested him recently. She told me that a lot of her friends had rung her up asking her to sign the petition, so there had been a certain amount of pressure. She said that she had already been thinking a lot about the petition, as others had expressed their dismay at her signing it.
I handed her our petition and the comments. She read them both through thoroughly, and came back to me. She said, while she supported Polanski as a friend, a crime is a crime. I don’t know whether she had realised the extent of Polanski’s crime, but she is now fully aware. She will remove her name from the petition ? in fact, she said she would call today and sort it out. Even though, she stressed, Polanski has had some truly terrible experiences in his lifetime, experiences that we couldn’t even imagine and which should not be taken out of the equation, she agreed that she could not put her name to a petition asking for his release.?
Assuming that she will be true to her word, her name will be removed in the very near future. Hopefully the press will pick up on it.
She left me with this, to pass on to everyone who has signed the petition/raised awareness of this issue: “Know that I will remove my name because of you, and all of the good work that you have been doing. I have read your petition. I have heard you. And I will listen.?

While I totally applaud Emma for seeing the error of her ways, and changing her mind with thoughtful grace, I know I?m not really alone in thinking Emma?s reasons for initially signing the damn thing were a bit sketchy. Jezebel points that out too. They sum up celebrity reasoning as: ?he’s suffered, he’s charming, the victim wants it dropped, judicial shenanigans, all the cool kids are signing ? minus any thought of what he actually did to the victim in 1977, before fleeing the country.? While I think some of those reasons should be factored into what happens to Polanski once he comes back to America, they should not be a factor in people wanting his immediate release. Still, I?m going to give Emma credit - she listened to her critics, weighed her thoughts carefully, and changed her mind, acknowledging her error. That?s more than any other signer has done.

Swift's eight songs on Billboard Hot 100 sets new record for female artists.By Kyle Anderson

Taylor Swift just toppled a chart record when her self-titled debut album logged its 157th week in the Billboard 200, bypassing Nickelback to become the longest chart reign of this decade. But she's not done breaking records this week, as the release of the latest Billboard Hot 100 reveals that Swift has eight charting songs this week, giving her the most songs on that chart of female artist in history. (The Beatles hold the overall record for any artist — they charted 14 songs in April of 1964.)
Swift's chart conquest was buoyed by the debut of the five new songs from the re-release of her 2008 album, Fearless, according to Reuters. Bolstered by download sales, all five tracks ended up in the top 30: "Jump Then Fall" at #10, "Untouchable" at #19, "The Other Side of the Door" at #22, "Superstar" at #27 and "Come in With the Rain" at #30. Three already-released singles — "You Belong With Me" (#14), "Forever & Always" (#34) and "Fifteen" (#49) — round out the tunes that make up her latest milestone.
It won't even be the last milestone Swift hits this week. Taylor Swift will join some elite company when she serves as both the host and musical guest of this week's "Saturday Night Live." In the past, that status has been reserved for crossover superstars like Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks and Britney Spears.
As far as the Billboard Hot 100 is concerned, Jason DeRulo's "Whatcha Say" is this week's top song. DeRulo is the fourth artist to top the chart with a debut single in 2009, joining Lady Gaga, Owl City and Jay Sean. DeRulo's reign will be threatened by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind," which jumped up 10 places since last week's chart and could make a move to the top spot with the New York Yankees World Series victory.

“I try not to focus on fame. I am not that aware of it all except at certain times like when I was on the press tour for Transformers and there were large crowds of people wherever we went. When I was at the Teen Choice Awards recently it was great. I got very nervous when they got to my category because I thought they would all be screaming for Beyonce but not for me. I thought it would get quiet when they announced my name, I was actually scared,” she tells.
Continuing on, Megan tells, “But instead there was a huge eruption of screaming and cheering and that made me so happy. I am thrilled to have so many teenage fans. I think teenagers are the best fans to have and if girls like me, then I am extremely happy because I do not want to push the female audience away. It is a fine line that you walk when you are sold a certain way in the media. I don’t think I have alienated girls, though, because it is usually teenage girls who approach me.”

As for her scheduled performance, Miss Perry told press: “I’m going to highlight what God gave me — what my momma made – with lots of booby things. There will be a lot of costumes but fewer clothes. I am using lace, feathers and garters.”
She adds, “Some of the outfits will be almost just ‘nip slips’ but not quite fully exposed. Last year it was fruity and kitsch and fun. But this year the fruit has gone sour. Now it’s dark and sexy and a bit naughtier. We are using lots of crystals, bowler hats, bow ties and booby things.”

Oh, Mimi. What are you doing? It?s November, for goodness sake. Granted, I?m still wearing flip-flops in Virginia, so it?s probably not that cold in Malibu. But I?m not a diva. And I?m not campaigning for an Oscar. Put some clothes on! Also, Us Weekly put these photos up with a link to a story called ?See celebs who are tired of being called fat?. Rude much? Mariah doesn?t look fat to me. She?s curvy. She has a lovely, voluptuous figure. She just needs to learn what clothes are flattering on her figure. Usually she packs herself into some too-tight dress that makes her look like a stuffed sausage, or in this case, a really unflattering halter swimsuit which is cut badly for her figure.
Mariah was filming a music video for her song ?H.A.T.E.U.? I?m not sure how Mariah in a halter cut down below her navel really helps, but she may be trying to convince us that she?s not pregnant? While she was on last night?s Larry King Live (full transcript here), Larry asked her about the pregnancy rumors. Mariah replied: “Right now? I’m going to take a swig of my scotch and let you know? [being pregnant] would be the happiest thing in my life, but what I’m saying is right now with this movie [Precious] coming out, with the next few singles from the album and those things that I’m doing, I need to focus on that because I cannot do the having-a-child thing halfway.”
Mariah also admitted to Larry that she had been ?emotionally, mentally? abused in relationships, saying: ?Well, it’s scary?You know, I just think you get into a situation, and you feel locked in if your situation is similar to one of the situations that I’ve been in which I won’t harp on.” Larry asked, “No, you don’t have to, but it is hard to get out?” Mariah replied: “For me, to really get out it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing where the person was in control of my life,” Carey added. Good Lord, is she talking about her first husband Tommy Mottola? I?ve read interviews with Mariah before where she alluded to the idea that Mottola was a very controlling man, but I?ve never heard her allude to Mottola being abusive. Interesting.

I?ve always been kind of ?meh? on Cameron Diaz?s beauty. I usually find her cute, but I never really find her stunning or gorgeous. I?m reconsidering though, because she?s blowing me away in these photos. Camy was at the New York premiere of her newest film, The Box. Before I even go into how crappy that film looks, let?s just admire Camy and how pretty she looks. According to Just Jared, Camy is wearing an RM by Roland Mouret ?Electra? cocktail dress, and The Frisky is all over Camy?s ?messy topknot?. I like the whole thing - I usually don?t care for these excessively shouldered dresses, but Camy makes it work. I love her accessories too, and her makeup, skin and hair are all flawless, I think.
Now, for the crapfest film. The plotline for The Box is such: ?Cameron plays the wife of James Marsden?s character who is forced to worry about money when her husband is fired. Shortly thereafter they are presented with a box from a stranger that will give them a million dollars to push a button and kill some random person.? When asked about it on the red carpet, Camy said: ?It?s not a decision that you take lightly, especially when you know the ugly consequences. We?re all offered little buttons to push every day of our lives. I think the bottom line is, ?Nothing is for free.?? Oh, so wise!
Needless to say, this film is getting slammed by critics. Just to take one example out of the air, NPR calls their review ?‘The Box’ Attempts To Persuade You That Contract Killing Is A Moral Dilemma?. Perhaps the stupidity of the movie is the reason Cameron hasn?t been doing a lot of press. She was on Jimmy Fallon last night, and she?s got a totally boring interview in Parade, and that?s about it. Yeah? Cameron must know the film sucks. That?s why she?s trying to change the subject by looking beautiful.

When asked if the singer offered to work with him, the Brazilian model laughed.
“There are steps!” he said. “You can’t just start out and collaborate with Madonna.”
The 23 year-old doesn’t hold a grudge about it though, who has had a fling with the Queen of music. “I always play her stuff-it’s great,” he told at the bash to help celebrate the DVD release of designer Valentino’s documentary.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Charlize Theron was spotted attending the premiere of her new flick “The Road” last night in Hollywood.
Joined by her beau Stuart Townsend, the “Italian Job” hottie looked lovely as she arrived at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, sporting a sexy silver dress with matching heels.
Speaking about her experience with the film, Charlize told press, “I loved the book and so I felt very honored that they asked me. Working with Viggo [Mortensen] was amazing. I really think they did an incredible job.”
Theron also noted that she’d be just fine if placed in a post-apocalyptic scenario like that of the movie. “Hey I don’t know, I think of myself as someone who wouldn’t just roll over and die, I’d fight, that’s for sure.”

I get that some people don?t like Kristen Stewart. Some find her smug, incoherent, bratty and snotty. Some people think that she needs to get a grip. Some people think that she needs to understand that the world does not revolve around her. I am not one of those people, although I will admit that I do find her bratty, in that way that all 19-year-old girls are brats. I like and defend Kristen because she?s not some cookie-cutter starlet, jacking herself up into some hyper-sexualized, jailbait-esque bimbo (like, say, Megan Fox). Kristen seems to have a very genuine tomboy vibe, and she seems to know her own mind, which I admire - probably because I wish I was as cool as she is when I was 19 years old.
I bring up my defense of Kristen because in this just-published interview with Entertainment Weekly, she comes across as sort of bratty. EW asked about her romance with Sparkles (Robert Pattinson), and Kristen went off:
Kristen Stewart, the 19-year-old star of the Twilight franchise, knows that she can come across as sullen and self-conscious in the public eye. But during an exclusive EW roundtable in Vancouver, Canada, where the cast was prepping for their last week of the Eclipse shoot and then the immediate onslaught of publicity for the November 20th release of New Moon, Stewart was funny, quick and outspoken in a wide-ranging conversation with co-stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.
Asked about the endless rumors of her supposed off-screen romance with Pattinson, for instance, Stewart got nicely fired up.
?I probably would?ve answered it if people hadn?t made such a big deal about it,? she said. ?But I?m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ?Well, you chose to be an actor, why don?t you just f?ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child???
Pattinson himself, who clearly loathes confrontation, tried to softly interject with philosophical statements about the need for an actor to hold onto his individuality.
But Stewart cut him off. ?I?ve thought about this a lot,? she said. ?There?s no answer that?s not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: ?Okay, we are. We aren?t. I?m a lesbian.? I?m just trying to keep something,? she said. ?If people started asking me if I was dating Taylor, I?d be like ?F? off!? I would answer the exact same way.? Without missing a beat, Pattinson looked at Lautner, promising ?Me too.?

See? To some people, she would come across badly, like she?s willfully trying to alienate fans of the Twilight series. To me, I admire that she has the balls - once again, at 19 years old - to not play the game. It is her private life - and although we all know she and Sparkles and hitting it like it?s on fire, Kristen has never confirmed or denied anything, which is fine. I also like that she?s not afraid to play the ?lesbian? card, because that what a lot of the little Twihards think. They think that because she?s not some swooning romantic heroine in her real life - or some jacked up Megan Fox type - that Kristen might be (gasp) a lesbian! Whatever.
By the way, yesterday we saw the photo outtakes from Kristen and Sparkles? Harper?s Bazaar cover story, but we missed the full interview. They?re both very funny in it, and there are some excellent quotes. Here?s the full interview, and here are some excerpts:
Sparkles on being attacked by rabid Twihards: “But at least that’s an experience, something new. If it’s just screaming — and I know this sounds so ridiculous — that gets old. But sometimes when there’s literal chaos, it’s like being in a war zone, and that’s kind of exciting. You’re just running through the crowd of people chasing after you and no one knows what’s going on.”
Kristen on who is more romantic: “I have a no-bullsh-t detector,” says Kristen, “so I’d have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it’s honest, it’s so disarming.”
Sparkles & Kristen on their ?bedroom scene?: “It wasn’t like we had to lie down together,” Kristen says, “but we were very reactive. We had a very responsive, palpable thing.” Robert notoriously took half a Valium beforehand. “I was calm and collected, and then we do this thing where we’re pretty much making out. I’ve since tried to do it at another audition, but it completely just collapsed.” He adds, “Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated.”
Sparkles on Kristen: “Kristen doesn’t take any slack,” Rob says. “She sticks to her guns — and that’s difficult to do.” He also thinks she’s a better actor than he is. “I don’t really know how to act. I’m kind of guessing everything. … Even though I can conceptualize stuff, she can actually do it. I can make something so complex and then be like, That was pout 27.” He reckons she’s a better judge of character too. “She’ll decide on someone a lot quicker. She has a lot more self-esteem than I do, so she’s like, ‘You’re an idiot and I don’t want to talk to you,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m an idiot too!’ So I’ll talk to an idiot for like three days before deciding.”
Kristen on Sparkles? athleticism: “I’m definitely claiming that one [that she?s more athletic]. Rob can barely jump rope. I call him Flippy because when he does his stunt rehearsals, he flips around [makes a gesture like a penguin]. And, God, when he tries to run …”

“Josh bragged about what happened on the set of his movie [Life As We Know It], and someone called the Enquirer with the tip,? [Forrester's lawyer said]. “The Enquirer then came to Nicole.”
Various women across the country have now come forth to claim their own dubious sexcapades with Duhamel, 34.
On Oct. 30, a woman named Serena called in [to a San Francisco radio station] to say that while the then-engaged actor was filming the Transformers sequel at a New Mexico Air Force base in 2008, he slept with her best friend who was stationed there.
I think the lie-detector test and the texts pretty well seal the deal. The only way that stripper could be more convincing is if she also had a signed and dated photo of the actor which read “I put my wiener inside you and moved it in and out, Love Josh Duhamel.” And with his stellar track record for subterfuge, I wouldn’t necessarily rule that possibility out yet. Remember, celebrities are notoriously fucking stupid. It’s the only reason I have a job.

I don?t really have a problem with most of what she?s talking about, but I always hate it when an actor disrespects there own films. It always strikes me as rude and unprofessional. If you hate the job so much, why the f-ck did you take it? Maybe it?s that I used to adore Natalie, but lately every move she?s made has been grating on my nerves. First, she signed the Polanski petition, and then she wrote about a widely-circulated and disseminated piece being a vegetarian for the Huffington Post. In that piece, she defends the notion that eating meat is somehow akin to rape. Seriously. This is what she wrote: ?[Jonathan Safran Foer] reminds us that being a man, and a human, takes more thought than just ‘This is tasty, and that’s why I do it.’ He posits that consideration, as promoted by Michael Pollan in The Omnivore’s Dilemma, which has more to do with being polite to your tablemates than sticking to your own ideals, would be absurd if applied to any other belief (e.g., I don’t believe in rape, but if it’s what it takes to please my dinner hosts, then so be it).? Uh, no. This is why Natalie is no longer one of my favorites. If you want to be a vegan or a vegetarian, fine. But by eating a steak, I?m not raping anyone.

Before I get into the whole protesting-parents thing, here is my girl Blake Lively on the cover of December?s Marie Claire. In the interview, Blake is kind of boring. She was even interviewed by her director (and wife of Daniel Day-Lewis) Rebecca Miller, who did The Lives of Pippa Lee. They talk about Blake?s Southern roots, her costars in the film (Julianne Moore is cool!) and how Blake ?grew up in Disneyland?.
RM: What was your first day like on Pippa working with Maria Bello, who played your pill-popping mother? You had to face that tornado…
BL: I was honestly terrified. I hadn’t slept that much, and all I wanted that day was for Maria to say, “Wow, great job.” And when she didn’t say anything to me, I thought, Oh, my gosh, I’m terrible. She hates it. She’s calling her agent, saying, “What have you gotten me into?”
RM: [laughs] Maria was in character all day that day…
BL: But once we finished filming, she was so complimentary and sweet. The way Maria worked was very method, and then [costar] Julianne Moore was the complete opposite?between takes, she was a nice, normal mom talking about her kid’s baseball games. Then you would call “Action,” and suddenly she’s playing this creepo photographer! It freaked me out.
RM: Do you think of yourself as Southern, even though you grew up in L.A.? I think there’s a Southern girl lurking in you.
BL: I grew up in L.A., but I was the only one in my family born there. I have a tight-knit Southern family, so whenever I tell people I’m from L.A., they say, “Yeah, but you don’t count,” I guess because of the Southern values I was raised with, and the way I eat?the more sugary and cheesy and fried, the better.
RM: What’s your first memory?
BL: Oh, geez, I remember I was about 3 years old, and I woke up?we were staying at Disneyland. I was in a little Pink silk bed, and there were Mickey and Donald and Goofy looking down at me. It was the most exciting place in the world. I kind of feel like I grew up at Disneyland.
RM: What do you mean, you grew up in Disneyland?
BL: My mom would take me there twice a week. I did well in school, so I guess my mom just wanted to have some extra time to bond with me. Sometimes, when I was older, she’d keep me out till 1 in the morning.
RM: [laughs] She would take you out of school and keep you out till 1 in the morning?
BL: We only stayed out late on weekends. We’d get a hotel room and then go to Denny’s, drink coffee, and talk for hours. I’ve always been a night owl. Even at home, we’d stay up all night talking. My mom tells the most amazing stories. In a way, she was kind of raising me to be a great actress without even realizing it.
RM: You went to 13 different schools growing up?
BL: I did. When I was only 3 years old, my mom enrolled me in the first grade. My older brother was supposed to start school, but he didn’t want to go alone, so my mom told them I was 6 since I was so tall. But after a few weeks, they said they would have to put me in mentally disabled classes because I wasn’t up to pace with the rest of the kids. They thought that I was slow because all I wanted to do was sleep while the other kids were doing their projects. [laughs] So my mom took me out of school.

Now, on to the protesting parents. Apparently, Gossip Girl has been airing promos for an upcoming episode - an episode that will feature a threesome (the ads say ?3SOME?) allegedly starring Blake Lively and two other people (but that?s not for sure about Blake). The Parents Television Council?s president Tim Winter calls the threesome “reckless and irresponsible? and the Council wants the CW affiliates to refuse to air the episode. Winter writes in a letter to affiliates: “Will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films? [This show] is expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers. CW has been defending graphic content on ‘Gossip Girl’ by asserting that they don’t target teenagers. Such a claim doesn’t even pass the ‘laugh test.’”
Unfortunately, the median age for a Gossip Girl viewer is 27 years old (seriously?), according to the CW?s data. Which means that there are lots of adult ladies who have girl-crushes on Blake too, right? It also means that PTC is getting their collective threesome-hating granny panties in a wad over nothing. I mean, sure, threesomes are (maybe) a bad idea for random, dumb teenagers. But by making a big deal about a television show?s threesome, you?re just fetishizing it and making it even more desirable amongst horny, dumb teenagers. Way to go, parents.

In September, the two remaining members of Nirvana issued a statement against the use of departed lead singer Kurt Cobain’s avatar in the game Guitar Hero. There’s a function in the game that lets you “unlock” a character and have it sing any number of songs, including songs of different genres and voiced by different gender singers. Former Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl didn’t object to the use of Kurt’s image in the game, they objected to “the character [being] used with any kind of song the player wants.” Novoselic and Grohl don’t have rights to the Cobain estate or any say in how Kurt’s image is used. Kurt’s widow Courtney Love launched a confusing rant against the licensing of Kurt’s image in the game, which she approved, and compared it to committing ?necrophilai? [sic] and to ?raping me and my family mother in law child.”
The band No Doubt has taken a much more sane route to ensuring that their image isn’t misused by Activision. They’re suing the company for the same issue that Love and Nirvana members were rallying against. In the new Band Hero game the Gwen Stefani avatar can sing songs in a male voice and with material they consider objectionable. They say they didn’t sign off on it at all.
Gwen Stefani is not a man and wants nothing to do with hookers — but according to a new lawsuit, Gwen claims she’s being manipulated into all sorts of manly, unGwen-like behavior for a new “Guitar Hero” video game.
The band No Doubt is suing the makers of a new game called “Band Hero” — claiming gamers were only supposed to be able to use No Doubt’s digital images to sing 3 No Doubt songs.
But in the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the band claims Activision “transformed No Doubt band members into a virtual karaoke circus act” by having them “sing, dance and perform over sixty songs.”
The band is particularly pissed that Gwen Stefani’s animated image can channel a male voice to sing “Honky Tonk Woman” by the Rolling Stones … a song which contains lyrics about “having sex with prostitutes.”
The band is suing for an injuction prohibiting “the unauthorized use of the No Doubt’s name and likeness” in the game … along with an undetermined amount of damages.
UPDATE: TMZ spoke with a rep from Activision who tells us, “Activision has a written agreement to use No Doubt in Band Hero ? an agreement signed by No Doubt after extensive negotiations with its representatives, who collectively have decades of experience in the entertainment industry …
… Activision believes it is within its legal rights with respect to the use and portrayal of the band members in the game and that this lawsuit is without merit.”

The stuff about being able to unlock the characters was probably couched in legalese deep in the contract and I bet it wasn’t disclosed properly to the artists and their lawyers. You can understand how they would be upset to see their likeness singing songs from someone else - particularly if they’re in a voice and style that bears no resemblance to reality. It probably makes the game more interesting, though.

The Atlanta stripper who claims to have had a one night stand with Josh Duhamel told her story on a local radio station yesterday. The woman in question, Nicole Forrester, first sold her tale to the National Enquirer last week for a reported $20,000, although she says that money has yet to come through. She claims to have had a porn-filled hotel night with Duhamel after he came to her place of work, the ironically named “Tattletales.” Forrester isn’t backing down from her story, and is currently featured on the covers of People and US Weekly.
After watching the video of the woman’s interview, available on E! Online and below, I have to say that I believe her story. She’s not the brightest bulb, but it really sounds like she’s telling the truth. She says that Duhamel came in while she was working and that she had no idea who he was, but “knew he was really freakin’ hot. He was so hot.” A waitress at the club told her it was Josh Duhamel from Transformers and that he was married to Fergie. That doesn’t seem to have stopped her from hooking up with him or from letting him drive drunk with her to his hotel.
Forrester, a single mom, claims that the National Enquirer approached her first about the story and that she didn’t want to talk to them because of her kids. “I didn’t want my kids to find out I was a stripper. [They're] 13 and 10 and it would kind of mess up their school and just stuff like that.”
The Enquirer called her three times and said “we’re going to print the story anyway, they’re going to know you’re a stripper, so why don’t you make money off of it?” At that point she decided to come forward. E! Online has more from the interview:
Josh Duhamel seemingly put a stop to this, but it appears that Nicole Forrester is just getting started.
“We did hook up, we had lots of sex, and we had a really, really good time,” the stripper and mother of two said in an exclusive interview with The Bert Show on Atlanta’s Q100-FM.
“And then the next morning, when I left, you know, he kissed me on the cheek, really sweet guy.”
And a really married guy, too, of course.
Duhamel’s rep has vehemently denied Forrester’s story about having a one-night stand with the Transformers hottie. Mrs. Duhamel, aka Fergie, was with her hubby last night in Atlanta, where he’s filming Life As We Know It.
But Forrester says she has saved text messages and “a lot of evidence” that she had a tryst with the actor.
She denies feeding the story to the National Enquirer herself, saying that the tabloid came to her, offering her $500 just to come in and talk, after an anonymous tipster reported that Duhamel was bragging on the set that he had “banged a hot, blonde stripper at Tattletales.”
Forrester insists that she is not in this for the money or the 15 minutes of fame. She just wants to clear her name and not be branded a liar.
Yet she did, in fact, take money from the Enquirer?$500 for the initial sit-down and $1,500 to pass a polygraph test. (She says she was supposed to get $20,000 for spilling all the details to the mag, but that transaction was never completed.)
“I would actually pay money to make this go away. If I had it, I would do it, you know? But I don’t,” she shrugged. “Nothing I can change now…If it was going to get out there, I figured I might as well benefit from it. I think most people would.”
And she says she doesn’t fear Duhamel, Fergie or their legal team.
“No, because it’s the truth. I’m not lying about anything, and he’s just as guilty as I am.”
Sounds like a classic case of he-said, she-said, everybody-cringes.

As Kaiser said when she first covered this story, I believe this. The woman seemed genuine to me in the interview. Fergie is standing by her man, though, and the two made a very public show of solidarity on Tuesday night at a restaurant in Atlanta. Reports claim that Josh is in the doghouse, but it sure didn’t look like it as the two noshed on steak and lobster and were “snuggling up.” Do you think that Fergie knows what’s going on and either doesn’t care or has made peace with it?

The Daily Beast has a pretty fascinating profile of Nicolas Cage’s mind-boggling lifestyle. Action star Cage, 45, owes over $6.5 million in back taxes and is currently suing his former business manager for fraud, alleging that the manager “placed Cage in numerous highly speculative and risky real estate investments” and essentially is responsible for Cage’s debt problem.
Those who knew Cage say that’s not true, though, and that Cage bought frivolous high-ticket items nearly constantly, including a luxury car a month, various exotic animals, and more mansions, castles and even islands than he could ever use. It all sounds eerily close to Michael Jackson’s lifestyle, including bizarre purchases like shrunken heads and a dinosaur skull. When the economy was flush it didn’t matter as much because Cage’s properties were worth something, but when the real estate market tanked Cage was in deep trouble, and had to sell everything and cut way back.
Here’s a segment from the Daily Beast’s article, which is well worth reading if you get a chance:
Until fairly recently, Cage?s primary residence was the 1940 Bel Air mansion, with eight bedrooms, a theater, wine cellar, and a library. The house?s previous owners included Dean Martin and Tom Jones. ?A Gothic mausoleum? is how one sometime guest describes its dcor in recent years. When Cage first put it on the market a few years back, the asking price was more than $30 million. He later dropped the price in half, and finally put it up this September in a sealed bid sale, where only offers above $9.95 million were considered. A source close to the sale says it went for less than $15 million. Some argue that the economy may not be the only reason the house went for so much less than Cage had desired. ?It was not what I would call good taste,? says the visitor.
Down South, Cage?s two mansions in New Orleans have been foreclosed upon and will be auctioned off later this month. The first, a 13,000-square-foot, six-bedroom house in the Garden District, was originally put on the market for a reported $3.45 million. The second, on Royal Street in the French Quarter, went on sale for $3.5 million and has been described as one of the most beautiful houses in the city, though there are rumors it?s inhabited by ghosts. (Seriously.)
They are among more than a dozen other homes Cage has bought in the last decade or so, in places like Newport Beach; Venice Beach; Malibu; San Francisco; Middletown, Rhode Island; New York; and Las Vegas. There was a castle near Bath, in England, an 11th-century estate in Etzelwang, Germany, and not one but two Bahamian islands, which Cage bought in their entirety. (Movie stars, after all, like privacy, so long as you?re paying attention to them onscreen.)
The bulk of those properties have been sold or are in the process of being sold.
Cage also had a serious car and motorcycle habit. In June 2004, he owned 18 motorcycles and 30 cars, a member of his entourage says. And that was on the low end: At another point, two sources say, the car total was around 50.
In 1997, Cage spent nearly half a million dollars on a Lamborghini Miura SVJ that had been owned by the shah of Iran and was confiscated from the Imperial Garage during the 1979 revolution. Never mind that at the time he bought it, the car was trading for an estimated $250,000 to $300,000. ?He didn?t care,? says a close source. ?Nic at an auction is dangerous. There?s just no limit to what he?d spend.? He kept the cars in a hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, where neighbors with their own hangars included Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Cruise, and Charlie Sheen.
The most bizarre display of Cage?s conspicuous car consumption? A 1955 Jaguar D-Type that he decided to put on exhibit in his billiard room at the Bel Air house, where it was lit from above, like something out of a car dealership. (There was also at least one expensive motorcycle sitting in the foyer, according to three people who visited the house. ?It was an eclectic way of decorating,? one shrugs.)
Nor did Cage limit himself to vintage cars, which are typically better investments than new ones. ?He had one of every thing that was new and fantastic,? says one source. ?Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces, Bentleys. If Aston Martin was coming out with a new model, chances are, he would have it.? At one point, the source says, Cage was snapping up cars at a rate of about ?one per month.? For a time, the actor also employed a full-time car mechanic, whose job was solely to service his cars, two sources say.
Cage?s penchant for acquisition was aided by the fact that for years, many of the things he spent money on appeared to be good investments. The vintage cars he bought frequently doubled in value, so Cage made a lot of money buying and selling them. (In his case, most sales were followed by more purchases). Real estate was seen as an even safer bet. According to a source from his inner circle, when the first few houses he bought began to accrue in value, Cage began to borrow heavily against them to buy more properties. Unlike the cars, though, he didn?t do nearly enough selling, which placed him in a particularly precarious position when the market began to collapse over the last two and a half years.
And then there were two yachts, at least, and the Gulfstream jet…
Three people who visited his house also report seeing shrunken heads. None is sure whether they were actual people?s heads (which are illegal to import) or simply those of animals (which generally are not). Still, one thing was for certain. ?They were pretty weird,? says a source.
So was Cage?s pet collection, which in addition to a handful of purebred dogs, included rare birds and a host of lizards, snakes, and other creepy crawlies. ?Basically, a zoo,? is how a person who?s known Cage for many years describes it. He also had two albino King Cobras, this person says, as well as ?an antidote serum on the wall, so that if you got bit by a snake you could save yourself.?
There also was a dinosaur skull that Cage purchased in 2007 for $276,000 in a heated auction with Leonardo DiCaprio.
It was a fabulous life while it lasted, but it helps explain why so many people in Hollywood aren?t entirely convinced his ex-money manager is solely to blame for the actor?s financial troubles. Says one person who has known Cage for many years: ?I remember a bunch of us saying, ?How many more magic tricks can Sam do to keep Nic afloat?? It was a house of cards? I think Nic thought he was invincible.?

So poor Nicolas Cage is probably still living in luxury with just a few staff members and a radically reduced set of toys. I can’t say I feel sorry for him. He wasn’t entirely selfish in his spending, though. The article notes that he gave a million to the Red Cross to aid Katrina victims in 2005 and that he donated $2 million to Amnesty International in 2006. Many people have addictions and it sounds like Cage’s is spending. It took a real crisis for him to start to get a handle on it too.

Yesterday we heard a pretty sad and disturbing phone call from Lindsay Lohan to her dad, asking for some kind of help. In our coverage, I neglected to mention that Lindsay’s dad Michael threatened last week to release the tape in retaliation to his ex wife’s claim that he was lying about Lindsay’s prescription drug addiction. The truth is that I try not to pay that much attention to the guy and am embarrassed that I missed that detail. Michael said “If Dina and her cohorts want to continue lying, I could [keep exposing her] for a year - on so many different subjects. My lawyers told me to keep every single conversation - and I did.”
In the tape, Lindsay sobs uncontrollably and says that her Mom told her she was worse off than her dad was. It’s kind of clear she’s talking about her drug addiction, although she doesn’t specifically say that.
Lindsay’s lawyer tells Radar Online she’s trying to figure out if Michael violated the law by releasing the tape. If so, it sounds like Lindsay is going to go after him legally. She’s already said to be seeking a restraining order against him, although I haven’t seen confirmation that it’s gone through:
Lindsay Lohan’s legal ace attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, is doing every thing in her power to go after Michael Lohan, following his release of a phone conversation between himself and his daughter.
Chapman Holley tells RadarOnline.com that she is “exploring all options both civilly, and criminally. We are talking to legal authorities in New York and Los Angeles to determine if any laws were broken.”
Chapman Holley goes on to say, “This was a private phone conversation, and if this conversation took place in California then it was a violation of the law.”
Michael Lohan tells RadarOnline.com that Lindsay made the call from New York.
Michael Lohan has been publicly saying that Lindsay needs help and is in a fragile state. He says he released this tape in an attempt to prove his point and to disprove those around Lindsay who are saying she is fine.

Lindsay has taken to her Twitter to deny that the call is recent along with expressing her outrage that her dad would release it. She wrote: “fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago. To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think That he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he’s needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN.”
Lindsay definitely needs help. Look at her - her pupils are pinpricks and she looks strung out. (Very small pupils like Lindsays are indicative of opiate use, often prescription drugs like Oxycontin. Large dilated pupils show stimulant use like cocaine.*)
Her dad is just pushing her further away with these obnoxious tactics. He name dropped Heath Ledger in an interview and said she’d be dead in a year for God’s sake - he went on Maury! If anything Lindsay’s family, with her in-denial mom and her in-your-face self-righteous famewhore dad, just goes to show how she ended up so messed up.
The girl is just 23. She’s at an age where she should know better though, definitely, and she’s done so many awful things that it’s hard to know whether she’ll ever realize that she’s not the center of the universe. Getting clean and sober would be a start. I doubt she’ll give up her crutch while she’s fighting her dad over this, though.
*Here is a link to a book that describes pupil size by drug use. I heard this last week on NPR’s Fresh Air with a doctor who used to work at Bellevue.

The “Gossip Girl” actress looked marvelous as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Four Season Restaurant in Manhattan, sporting a sleek black dress with a blingy necklace and black heels.
In a recent interview, Blake explained that growing up in Los Angeles definitely had its perks, like weekly trips to Disneyland.
“My mom would take me there twice a week. I did well in school, so I guess my mom just wanted to have some extra time to bond with me. Sometimes, when I was older, she’d keep me out till 1 in the morning.”

Of winning his first big league pennant, Alex became quite emotional during a post-game interview during the post-game festivities.

Christina Ricci was spotting at the beach in a black bikini and the celeb was looking pretty nice. As good as her body looks here, I have to say that I’ve never been a real fan of Christina’s. Keeping her health up to par, Madonna was spotted paying a visit to a medical center earlier today (November 4) in New York City.
All bundled up in a coat, scarf and hat, the “Material Girl” singer braved the chilly NYC weather as she headed into the wellness facility.
Just last night, Madonna and boy toy, Jesus Luz, were spotted leaving the Standard Hotel in high spirits after the “Valentino: The Last Emperor” DVD launch celebration.
And in recent news, the charitable 51-year-old has promised electricity to a village in Malawi -where Madonna frequents- and is currently leading the building efforts of an all girls school.
