I know I already did our designated obligatory Oscar round-up earlier today, but the sheer amount of cleavage Heidi Klum sported to Elton John’s Oscar party was so impressive I figured it deserved it’s own post. Anyway, I just wish Heidi had brought her cleavage to my Oscar party last night instead. All my lame

So it’s not quite the bikini pictures I was hoping for from Miley Cyrus, but at least it’s a start. Here’s Miley at Elton John’s Oscar party, I guess because she didn’t get invited to the main event. But she shouldn’t be too surprised about the snub considering the way she’s been dressing lately. I

Now this is more like it. After the last few posts I’ve done on Britney Spears, I definitely wasn’t expecting to see her looking this good at the Elton John Oscar party last night. I just hope Britney can keep this up. I don’t really care about her TV career or her music, but a

| Heidi Klum lets her girls hang way out at the Elton John party: trashy or sexy? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Heidi Klum attended Elton John’s Oscar party last night, and … oh my god. Is she joking? She brought the boob quotient in a very big way in a gold-ish Julien Macdonald gown. The fabric of this gown is so terrible and resembles Mrs. Roper’s couch on “Three’s Company.” A couch with boobs, that is. Even though she’s a supermodel, Heidi is rarely able to dress well for the red carpet, but this is probably one of her worst attempts. I am actually surprised at her blatant rack assault on humanity. I mean, I get that she’s recently divorced and probably wants to get her sexy image back, but this whole look is just so cheap and trashy. The deep plunge of this dress leaves no wiggle room at all, and it’s just so obvious that Heidi just wanted everyone’s attention on her chest. She’s even got her hair slicked back like she just climbed out of the swimming pool. With the nude makeup, there’s nothing at all to distract from those girls.
Molly Sims decided to do the total opposite of Heidi’s skin-flaunting stunt and went very conservative with a white Temperley London gown that boasted sheer, beaded sleeves. Her jewels are Lorraine Schwartz, and I think she’s still tweaking her face pretty hard.
Emma Roberts failed to go age-appropriate in her Oscar de la Renta dress. This is far too mature a look for a 22-year-old starlet, and her hair and makeup only add to the effect. She also looks very bored too.
Mena Suvari looked spaced out as usual and chose a diaphonous red silk gown that overwhelmed her body. This actually makes me wonder if Mena is pregnant, but I think she’s still going through her divorce, so let’s not go there. Something nice: her hair looks pretty.
Kelly Osbourne popped right over to the party after her E! Fashion Police gig. She chose a sleek gown (sadly, I can’t find an ID) with a cool cape and a sheer midriff to show off her toned ab muscles. Somehow it works without looking cheap or trashy. This is a relative win for Kelly.

| Britney Spears debuts new brunette hair at Elton John's Oscar party: pretty or mousy' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

We’re done with our red carpet Oscar coverage and we’re moving on to the parties. We’ll have photos from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party coming up shortly! I’d like to talk about some of the people at Elton John’s Oscar Party, especially Britney Spears. She looks so different as a brunette, doesn’t she? Britney really changed gears with her styling and she looks thrilled about it. Look at her, the old Britney is almost back, bitches! I’m not even sure I can get used to her as a brunette, but this look is still worlds apart from the blonde hair and heavy black eyeliner she usually sports. What color is her hair now, a kind of honey brown? It’s obvious that a lot of it is fake, but it suits her. Her makeup is too orange but that’s a minor complaint.
Britney’s dress is Michael Cinco Couture. It’s not bad. The deep v-neck is a little much and I don’t like those shoulder pads (No one except Jane Fonda can pull off shoulder pads). It fits well and is flattering, though. I’m impressed. Oh I should mention that there are rumors that Britney’s Vegas deal isn’t going to come to fruition because she never sings live. Those stories don’t ring true for me, because wouldn’t that be a given going into those talks?

| Natalie Portman in Dior at the Vanity Fair Oscar party: suspiciously bumpy? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

A lot of the celebrities who were at the actual Oscars went back to their hotel rooms to get into their party dresses. And then some celebrities who were not at the Oscars came out last night solely for the parties. These are some selected shots from the Vanity Fair Oscar party, which is the ticket everybody wants. There were some surprises among the guest list, like Natalie Portman and Benjamin. I?m genuinely surprised they came out for the Vanity Fair party ? surely they are WAY too private to deign to pose on the red carpet together? Natalie is wearing Dior ? does anyone else think she looks pregnant again? Do you think it?s on or is it just a weird dress?
Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt. I just can?t with her plastic face anymore. Jon looks really tired here too. I still love him, but my love has waned a bit.
Lily Collins in Zuhair Murad. The dress is total J.Lo (for real) but from the neck up, Lily is giving me Rooney Mara vibes. God, she?s lost so much weight.
Miranda Kerr in Valentino, with a shellshocked-looking Orlando Bloom. Why are they everywhere these days? This is like the fifth big Hollywood event they?ve come to in two months. What?s the deal?
Anne Hathaway changed her dress for the party, but we don?t have any full-length shots. My bad! This dress seems okay ? it?s just a sack, you know? A halter-sack.
Here?s Gerard Butler and his girlfriend of several months, Madalina Ghenea. I guess I?m happy that he seems to be in a relationship that has lasted longer than a trip to a Port-o-potty, but this lady gives me strange vibes. Drag queen vibes.

| Elizabeth Banks in orange McQueen at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party: kick ass or fug? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

When I was covering Melissa McCarthy’s big poofy Oscar hair, I mentioned that the giant hair trend seems to be on the wane. Unfortunately Elizabeth Banks tried to make it work at last night’s Vanity Fair Party, with a kind of upward swoop Elvis thing, and ended up looking like a Q-tip. She’s so cute and happy I can’t trash her styling though, especially in this awesome dress. I know some of you won’t agree, but this orange and cream abstract watercolor Alexander McQueen gown is amazing. It’s bold, it has striking details that are not too busy or overdone (I love how the bodice is a little more cream than the skirt and is separated by that metallic and tortoise belt) and it’s somehow contemporary and classic at the same time. Those earrings seem a little goofy to me, but they’re not bad. She looks really pretty and she stands out without looking try-hard.
For some reason Elizabeth posed with Richard Gere. He looks like he’s giving her some dumb advice here.
Patricia Clarkson also went with a bright color in this crimson dress with mounds of draped fabric at the hips. I actually have a skirt like this that I bought a few years back when I was at my skinniest and this trend was at its height. It adds to the illusion that your hips are big, but I don’t think it’s unflattering. You can tell it’s the fabric and not the wearer. Maybe I’m saying that because this is Patricia Clarkson, she can wear whatever the hell she wants and wear the hell out of it.
Amy Poehler was in a fitted emerald green gown that looks like Herve Leger, although I don’t have a designer ID on it yet. Her boobs look really good in that dress, her makeup is fresh and her hair is cute. I’d love to see Amy work it a little more, she’s slouching here.
Amy’s Parks & Rec co-star Rashida Jones was in sequin Vivienne Westwood, in one of the gunmetal colors that was popular last night. I wish we had a full length photo of her – you can see one here, on Just Jared. There’s a little too much fabric going on with this dress, but the entire look is really glamorous yet a little understated. I like it, although I’d like to see her with different jewelry. The emerald cuff and ring are a little much.

| Kim Kardashian shows off her bump at Elton John's Oscar party: not terrible' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are the last stragglers from all of the Oscar parties last night ? some additional pics from the Vanity Fair party, but mostly these pics are from the Elton John AIDS Foundation party. Elton throws that party every year! Kim Kardashian and BUMP OF DOOM were at Elton?s party. Kanye wasn?t Kim?s date ? Kim brought Kourtney instead. I updated the weekend?s Kardashian post, but it?s worth mentioning again ? Kim and Kanye are expecting a baby girl. Believe it or not, I think the baby will probably be gorgeous. Think of how Kim looked before she started messing with her face. See? The baby will be gorgeous. As for Kim in this white gown? yeah. It?s like Jessica Simpson ? Kim was always going to carry big. That?s just her body type. The problem is when Kim pours herself into some hideous peplum pants. Which is to say? I don?t have a problem with Kim in this gown. She looks fine for what she is. Also: why does Kourtney look so pissed off?
Here?s Miley Cyrus in Azarro ? the back on this is really nice and overall, this is a flattering look for her. I don?t even hate her hair! It looks better now that she?s grown it out a little bit, and some bottle blondes just need roots so they don?t look washed out. Miley is one of those girls. I like her faux-hawk too.
Chelsea Handler did the party circuit with her on-again boyfriend Andre Balazs. God, she looks awful. Horrible center part, horrible makeup, unflattering dress. Ugh.

| Jennifer Garner in ruffled Gucci at the Oscars: glamorous or fussy? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
Jennifer Garner supported her husband Ben Affleck through his Best Movie win in this deep purple tight fitted Gucci gown accented by a bizarre ruffled back that continued into a train. In photos this dress looks better to me than it did on camera, particularly when she was being interviewed by Kristen Chenoweth. (Maybe that’s because I found Chenoweth supremely annoying. Did you see that stunt she pulled with Hugh Jackman asking him if she weighed more than an Oscar?) Garner explained that the gown was custom-made and that “They gave me other ones to chose from but I loved this from the minute I saw the first sketch. I save up all my fashion for red carpet events.” Garner has a banging body but somehow this gown didn’t flatter her and accented the wrong places. Also: matchy bridal shoes! Something nice: I like her statement necklace and her hair and makeup are pretty.
Jane Fonda brought the 80s back in this fierce canary yellow v-neck Atelier Versace complete with freaking shoulder pads and gold detailing around the waist. I’m not kidding, I love this look. This is some bold, dated styling and Fonda pulls it off. The dress looked sexy from the back when she was presenting, too. Work it, Jane!
Melissa McCarthy wore grey David Meister, a designer she’s used many times in the past, and I was underwhelmed by the fit and color of this dress, which was similar to her past red carpet looks. This designer hasn’t really brought it for her. When she was presenting I was struck by the pretty details of the gown, like the beaded sleeves and the cool black triangle inset panel on the gown where a slit would be. Also, I really disliked her huge poofy hair. It seems like everyone was doing that a few years back.
I loved Melissa’s presentation with Paul Rudd for Animated Short and Feature. They’re both excellent at deadpanning it. I was hoping that the show would keep up those staged awkward moments, but apart from the weird Avengers thing there wasn’t much.
I’m adding Norah Jones in here as she was also in grey and was just so sweet on the red carpet. I was impressed with how shy yet genuine she was with Ryan Seacrest. She told him that it was her first Oscars. I don’t have a designer ID on her gown yet, which was pretty but kind of plain to me, which may have been due to the color. Her hair was also too fussy piled on top of her head like that, but she still looked so pretty. Norah performed “Everybody Needs a Best Friend,” from Ted, you can see her performance here on The Oscar website. I felt bad for her because the sound for her vocals was being overwhelmed by the music. The engineers should have perfected the levels during the rehearsals, there was no excuse for that.
Bonus pic with Adele! We’ll have more on her shortly.

| Reese Witherspoon in blue Louis Vuitton: one of the best looks of the Oscars? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Controversial opinion: Reese Witherspoon was one of my picks for best dressed of the Oscars. Is that controversial? I think I liked her look so much because she?s Southern and I?m Southern and I appreciate that Reese makes it a (Southern) priority to have a complete look from head to toe, and she prioritizes looking ?pulled together?. While her Louis Vuitton dress wasn?t the most amazing thing on the red carpet, she worked the hell out of it, the fit was incredible, and she was one of the few ladies wearing a really strong, bold blue. More blue on red carpets!!! I loved her hairstyle too ? classic, chic and ?done?. Her hair and makeup complimented the dress perfectly. This is a lesson she should have given Jennifer Aniston ? how to look awesome at the Oscars while still looking ?real?. Reese really was one of my faves!
And yes, Channing Tatum was another one of my favorites. I can?t help it, y?all. It?s a Southern thing. I love some Charming Potato. I like that after the amazing year he had, he got invited to the Oscars. I like that he didn?t consider it beneath him to dance with Charlize Theron in the opening. I like that he seemed really engaged with his wife Jenna Dewan too. Yes, he?s doing the belly-rubbing thing, but it?s cute. It?s his first child! He?s allowed. I don?t know who made Jenna?s dress.

| Amy Adams in huge Oscar de la Renta at the Oscars: amazing or ridiculous? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
Best Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams wore this pale silver Oscar de la Renta gown with a huge fluffy ruffled skirt, a fitted sweetheart bodice and a train that would have seemed excessive for a royal bride. I love to see Amy on the red carpet, she usually looks amazing, and she often mixes it up and takes calculated fashion risks that pay off for her. This dress feels uninspired somehow, like it’s over the top but in a way that’s not risky at all. There’s something “off” about the look. Plus the color of the gown washes her out, and her styling leaves something to be desired. This is better than last year’s Oscar look for Amy, but she went “too formal” where she was too casual in 2012. She’ll get her fashion and makeup exactly right when she does win that Oscar, and I suspect it won’t be long now.
Here’s another Best Actress nominee, Helen Hunt, who of course got shut out by AnnE and her unstoppable false humility. Unlike Anne, Helen went with a decidedly downmarket designer for her Oscar gown, H&M! She told Ryan Seacrest that H&M was “going green, they work with this company Global Green that I love. It?s a win-win.” Helen’s navy strapless gown wasn’t a standout, but coupled with her gorgeous jewelry and how pretty and comfortable she looked, it definitely was a win-win.
Catherine Zeta Jones wore this gold sequin and mesh mermaid Zuhair Murad gown that just looked trashy, especially on screen. There was too much going on with the complicated beading on the bodice and the curlicue throughout the skirt. Her hair was really fake looking too. When Ryan Seacrest interviewed her with Michael Douglas, I got the impression that Douglas was kind of drunk, but she seemed to hold it together.
CZJ performed “All That Jazz” as part of one of the many musical numbers that were like bags of pretzels handed out during a really long flight. (At least CZJ’s performance was. I would never say that about Adele or Babs.) She also presented Best Musical Score, along with her fellow castmembers from Chicago. (That movie came out 10 years ago. I don’t get it.)
Octavia Spencer was in her go-to designer, Tadashi Shoji, and I like that she went with a different fit than the Grecian dresses she was wearing last year. (Maybe that style is on the wane anyway.) Renee Zellweger said something last night that explained to me celebrities are so loyal to a specific designer. She said, about Carolina Herrera, “I love her and I love her team… I always look forward to those guys showing up.” That makes a lot of sense, they get to know and trust these designers. I get why celebrities form a relationship with one designer who consistently makes them look good instead of paying a stylist who may have her own motivations.
Octavia looks lovely and I like her asymmetric neckline here. The bangs are a little much, but her styling is otherwise pretty. This is the kind of skirt that I would have liked to see on Amy Adams’ dress – big and flowy but not comical.

| Kristen Stewart, greasy in Reem Acra: one of the worst looks of the Oscars? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
If you were following me on Twitter, you know that I declared Kristen Stewart to be ?the worst? of the Oscars. CB even thought Kristen?s presenting duties were terrible, and CB always gives Kristen the benefit of the doubt. It wasn?t that Kristen has some kind of bum ankle and she was walking with a limp and she was using crutches on the red carpet. That doesn?t matter ? if anything, I guess it made her more sympathetic. Apparently, Kristen ?stepped on broken glass? which is totally DIVA. What did she do, go berserk after Sparkles dumped her over the phone and she threw a perfume bottle into a window and thus, broken glass?
Anyway, I thought Kristen was the worst because of the way she spoke, the way she looked SO OVER the Oscars, her whole twitchy, unprofessional, too-cool-for-school thing. If you?re going to come to the Oscars and act like you?re too hardcore to be so establishment, why not just stay home? Oh, that?s right ? because her career is in the crappy and she?s trying to drum up some work. So talk like a normal person, stand up straight and pull back your hair.
Her dress was Reem Acra by the way. I hated it on the red carpet, but it looked better on stage. It?s very bridal, right? It?s meh. As long as she?s doing this too-cool-for-school thing, she might as well do it right and go with some avant-garde Balenciaga gown, you know? And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE A BATH. She just looked dirty and her hair looked greasy.
Just think ? she?s the same age as Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence.

| Charlize Theron in white Christian Dior at the Oscars: gorgeous & goddess-y? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Structurally, Charlize Theron?s white Dior gown reminded me of Anne Hathaway?s Chanel gown at the Golden Globes. Two-piece white gowns with faux-peplums, done in different ways and worn completely differently. I mean? for Charlize, you actually have to TRY to make her look bad, she?s such a red carpet goddess. While I don?t think this was her best look ever, I really liked it overall. What I love about Charlize is that she can wear Dior Haute Couture and it never overwhelms her. My favorite part of this look? Her hair. I LOVE her short hair and I love that she bleached it. She looked young and fresh and gorgeous. Also: I loved Charlize presenting with Dustin Hoffman. I kind of want them to work together now.
And here?s Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille Couture. I wasn?t into it, but I thought it was Givenchy when I first saw it. My mom loved it, if that makes any difference. I don?t think Zoe looks bad at all, it just wasn?t my favorite dress and I didn?t understand why she was there, unless she was just trying to create an awkward moment with her ex, Bradley Cooper.

| Anne Hathaway in pale pink Prada at the Oscars: pretty or kind of trashy? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
OK, I think I?m ready to talk about Anne Hathaway?s nips now. My caffeine has kicked in and I?m getting into the Oscar coverage groove. OK. Sigh. Here?s the thing: Anne Hathaway was supposed to wear Valentino. Everybody made a really big deal about how Anne was going to wear a special Valentino gown, likely designed personally for her because of her relationship with Valentino and because Mr. Valentino designed her wedding gown last year. And then she showed up in this pale Pink Prada gown, which? I can actually see how this gown would be her ?fallback? gown, something relatively safe if nothing better came along. But I really wonder what happened with the Valentino gown. Was there some kind of design disaster? Did Annie throw some kind of massive hissy fit over a bad gown? Unknown.
But here?s what we got ? a Prada gown which looked super-wrinkled within minutes on the red carpet. A Prada gown which wasn?t the right color for someone so pale. A gown which looked like an apron from the back. A gown with ridiculous darting on the bust, making the viewer?s eye go down to Anne?s bust. I really don?t know if it was the darting, or if Anne was just incredibly cold on the red carpet. Whatever it was, Anne?s Nips are now a thing. They have a twitter account. They were bouncing all over the place. Incidentally, I saw some complaints that she wasn?t wearing a bra or a more structured gown which would have kept her tatas in place ? that doesn?t piss me off as much as the sheer fact that Anne?s nips completely overshadowed her Oscar win.
As for Annie?s win? well, I said what I wanted to say last night. I?m happy that she finally got her Oscar. I hope she goes away for a little bit and we don?t have to deal with her for a few months. I?ll say something nice too: everything above the nips looked great. She had great makeup and I loved her hair and I adored her backwards necklace.

| Nicole Kidman v. Naomi Watts: who had the best metallic gown at the Oscars? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
Metallics were a big trend at last night?s Oscars, and I?m including some of the best examples of the darker metallics in this post. I see a lot of people loved Best Actress nominee Naomi Watts? asymmetrical Armani Prive gown, but I just wasn?t into it. Her body looked beautiful, I liked her hair, jewelry and makeup and I love that she seems to be aging naturally. I also loved the color ? like a pewter-blue metallic. But I just didn?t love the design of the dress. It feels like the kind of gown that Cate Blanchett ? and ONLY La Blanchett ? could really rock. On Naomi, it just seemed? ?off?. I would have liked it better (on her) if it had a symmetrical design on top.
Nicole Kidman wore L?Wren Scott, a designer which Nicole has been wearing a lot of lately. I?ll admit it ? I really liked this gown when I saw it in motion on the red carpet, but the still photos are leaving me cold. The gold swirls at the bottom are amazing, but now that I?m really looking at it? the gown is too small. Nicole stuffed her bolt-ons into it. And while I love that Nicole seemed ?looser? on the red carpet, her hair was WAY too loose. She had some of the worst hair on the red carpet (along with Aniston).
And here?s poor Stacy Keibler in Naeem Khan, with her Oscar date George Clooney. They did not rule over the red carpet or the ceremony, which was nice. It was like George was making the effort to not overshadow Ben Affleck. I didn?t really get Stacy?s whole ?flapper? styling though. Did the dress really call for it? Not really. So, while I kind of liked the dress, I thought the styling ruined it. PS? Does anyone else think she looks like Giuliana Rancic?

| Jennifer Aniston in red Valentino at the Oscars: dated, boring or lovely? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Aniston was one of presenters-to-watch before the red carpet even began. Everybody had such high hopes, and then she arrived on the red carpet and everybody was like, ?Oh. Now I remember. She always looks the same.? When she first arrived, I only saw her from the waist up and I thought she looked so much like THIS ? an old Emmys look from, like 1999. Like, I thought she was wearing the same Prada gown that she wore more than a decade ago. But this Valentino was different ? it was a different kind of gown for her. She usually doesn?t do the big, full skirts. But other than that, it was exactly the same. I can?t believe she didn?t change it up AT ALL with her hair or makeup ? there was nothing ?special? about how she styled herself for the Oscars. It was so weird.
Speaking of EXACTLY THE SAME, Justin Theroux put his hand on Jennifer?s stomach and now everyone is like ?OMG PREGNANT?. Decide for yourself. I do like Justin better with a beard ? although it looks like he?s trying to copy Ben Affleck and George Clooney, right? Like, this looks exactly like Ben?s beard.
Also wearing a shade of red (but it looks more coral here)? Kerry Washington in MiuMiu. This was actually one of my favorite looks of the night! Kerry did something to take away those horrible bangs she had throughout the Oscar season (maybe the bangs were detachable?), and her dress moved beautifully. I think she?s gained some weight back after looking too slender as well. All in all, Kerry was one of the best looks of the evening!

| Anne Hathaway wins the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for 'Les Mis' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
This was the big given of the Oscars, Anne Hathaway?s victory in the Best Supporting Actress category. It was a pipe dream to think that Sally Field or Amy Adams or Jacki Weaver or Helen Hunt would have a chance. That didn?t stop Anne from campaigning like a lunatic for (literally) the last seven months, nor did it stop her constant barrage of gaspy little-girl-voiced acceptance speeches. She became the girl everyone loved to hate. But I still liked her! But even I, a Hathaway apologist, struggled to love her tonight.
First of all, we need to have a word about her nips (which now have a Twitter account). I know, I know. We should be above it. And we?ll definitely talk about more tomorrow with the fashion coverage. But you?d think that coming into the Oscars as a guaranteed winner, Anne would have been careful to avoid being so? exposed? I could draw her breasts from memory at this point. I just think she seemed so? trashy. First the Oscar Beav and now the Oscar Nips.
As for Annie?s speech?well, of course she rehearsed it. You could tell that she had been practicing and timing it. She remembered everybody and she executed a perfectly out-of-breath little girl voice. She gave special thanks to Hugh Jackman (that seemed genuine ? they love each other) and to her husband, who? I mean, let?s not judge a book by its cover, maybe? I didn?t really understand how Anne ended it on a note of, like, ?let?s make the world a place where no woman has to prostitute herself? like that?s some issue that Anne has been actively engaged in? She?s barely mentioned that ?issue? in interviews. But sure. I get it. She wanted to say ?something? bigger than thanking her manager.
So? this is the end of AnnE?s Oscar campaign. Will you miss her? I think I?ll miss her. She was just so extra.
