Kim Kardashian has loved the cameras for a very long time. She used to just love any attention, and she was visibly happy whenever paparazzi took her photos when she was out and about, or whenever photographers paid attention to her on a red carpet. Then sh-t changed. Maybe it was the Paris robbery and realizing how vulnerable she was when paparazzi tracked her movements, or maybe it was her two difficult pregnancies. Maybe it was all of it. But something shifted, and now Kim usually looks sort of sad and over it when she?s been photographed. Kim took part in a makeup ?Master Class? over the weekend and she was asked by one paying customer/student about laugh lines, wrinkles and how her skin is so smooth. Her answer is? Klassic Kardashian.
When one fan asked Kim Kardashian West her secret to smooth skin while she got her makeup done by longtime pro Mario Dedivanovic during The Master Class in L.A. on Saturday, the star revealed her secret.
?Don?t smile,? the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star honestly replied. The reason Kardashian West also doesn?t like to always show off her pearly whites actually stems from her first pregnancy with 5-year-old daughter, North West.
?Last time [contributed to] not only the weight, but also the swelling that everyone would make fun of, not understanding that I had this condition,? the reality star, who suffered preeclampsia in her first two pregnancies which caused her to bloat, said in an interview with C Magazine. Ultimately, Kardashian West said that the body shaming she faced while pregnant ?changed the way I viewed wanting my picture taken.?
?Before I was always smiling, and so into being out and about,? she said. ?After I had the baby, I was like, ?These are the same people that made fun of me, and posted the stories that were so awful, calling me fat for something I couldn?t control.??
Her solution: stop smiling.
??I don?t want to smile for them. I don?t want to be out,?? Kardashian West added. ?Even if I was more confident, I just didn?t feel like being that girl who was going to be smiling for every photo. It changed my mood; it changed who I was; it changed my personality a lot.?

I mean? I get that. She gained a lot of weight during her first pregnancy and she was sick with preeclampsia. People were really mean to her (and to Jessica Simpson during her first pregnancy too). I get that Kim?s personality changed when people were being mean to her, but I also think? she just used to be a happier person. Before Kanye, she was a lot happier. Before the Paris robbery, she was a lot happier. Her ?not smiling? thing is about a lot more than ?people were mean to me years ago.? Also: it feels like a miserable way to go through life, refusing to smile. Ugh.

Dane Cook used to be the wrong kind of punchline his name was a short-hand for cheap, dumb, bro-comedy. He was a famous comedian who was famous for not being that funny. His heyday was probably? like, 2003-07, I guess? But he was still doing tours and comedy specials up until about five years ago. That?s when he mostly took a break, focused on getting therapy and cleaning up his life, editing out the users and criminals (like his brother, who embezzled millions of dollars from him). And now Dane Cook is back. He got a somewhat nice spread in the Hollywood Reporter about his ?comeback,? which involves a tour and some other stuff. You can read the Hollywood Reporter piece here he talks about Louis CK accusing him of joke-stealing, his 20-year-old girlfriend and a lot more. Some highlights:
He was one of the first comedians to use the internet to effectively promote himself: He promoted his stand-up performances first on sites like MySpace (I remember getting ready to play Madison Square Garden, I posted once on MySpace and without spending a dime on any promotion or advertising, we sold out) and Napster, then on his own website (Cook spent $35,000 to set it up, nearly every penny he had at the time).
He knew that people had strong feelings either way: One person would be like, Dane Cook, man, this guys funny! And then the next guy is like, Hes a douchebag! Nobody likes him! But I was almost giddy to be that guy. I was like, Sh-t, its way cooler being Darth Vader than it is being Luke Skywalker.
Louis CK accused him of joke-stealing in 2005: Louis C.K. publicly accused Cook of lifting material from his 2001 album, Live in Houston. Cook categorically denied the charges and wrote a letter to C.K. asking him to stop bad-mouthing him, which C.K. ignored. I think he knew that he could be more popular talking about why I shouldnt be popular, Cook says, offering his theory for why C.K. made the accusations. It helped him, it really did. It was like he was on a press tour because of it.
What he thinks of the accusations against Louis CK now: The comic had tried to repair relations with C.K., appearing as himself on C.K.s FX show in 2011, but the results had been mixed. I wanted a couple of things tweaked [in C.K.'s script], Cook says. But he was not going to change anything. It was what it was. Still, when reporters called Cook in 2017 looking to see if he wanted to dish out any payback [to CK], he kept quiet. People were like, What do you think about this guy? he says. But I didnt speak out. All I can say is that nothing Louis did to me is anywhere near what happened between him and those women. Yeah, it sucked what happened to me, but I knew what I did and didnt do. That said, Cook does twist the knife some with a C.K./karma joke in his current arsenal ? a quip that got one of the biggest reactions during his Laugh Factory set.
His 20-year-old girlfriend: We laugh a lot about it. Were not afraid to goof on [that perception]. But I have never had somebody in my life who is so kind and caring. I hope it goes the distance.

?All I can say is that nothing Louis did to me is anywhere near what happened between him and those women.? He came so close to actually saying something meaningful here, I wonder why he didn?t? He could have said, ?Yeah, what happened between Louis and I was awful, but it?s not as awful as using his power and authority to sexually harass multiple women and attempt to derail their careers if they spoke out.? I get the feeling that Dane?s bro-outlook is still on full display, but whatever. Just don?t abuse women, and just don?t be a raging ahole, let?s start there. If Dane can manage that, then so be it. Let him have his comeback.

Last year I covered an interview Bella Thorne gave from her home. There was a bunch of crap around her house like a teepee she had written all over, a giant mannequin in her entryway, multiple plastic dinosaurs and hand-drawn art on the walls. At that time she had 12 cats however five months later she had 19 cats because she doesnt spay or neuter them. So you can imagine how her house smells. The point of the interview was to emphasize Bella?s business sense post-Disney. She is an Instagram celebrity with over 18 million followers and at that time she was charging up to $65,000 per sponsored post. Bella has come up with yet another way to capitalize on her personal life. She?s offering guided tours of her home along with rentals for photo and video shoots. Guided tours are $50 and prices can go into the thousands for multiple hours with catering available. Bella lives there with her sister, Dani:
Page Six has learned that [Bella Thorne] plans to charge $50 a ticket for guided tours of her Trippy Twins Fun House starting this summer. For now, the famed house, which has been featured on MTV?s ?Cribs,? is available to rent for parties, film locations and photoshoots.
For a studio rental, prices start at $150 per hour. Photoshoots go up to $250 per hour while video shoots that last up to six hours long can cost $4,000. Catering packages are also available.
The six-bedroom house is famous for its psychedelic rooms that feature unicorns, graffiti walls and a Tyrannosaurus rex statue named Derek the Dinosaur. It?s also been featured in Architectural Digest.

Weve all got to hustle to make a living and this is not a bad idea. A lot of her decor is Halloween-themed so she could set up a haunted house that runs all year. I would pay 50 bucks for that. Plus she could turn the cameras around on her guests to create content for her Instagram channel. It could be like that Netflix show Haunters: The Art of the Scare only instead of being torture or scare-based it could have a Black Mirror theme. It could be like that episode with Bryce Dallas Howard. What would you do for fame and money and if it ran out, what would you really do?

Courteney Cox was on James Corden?s The Late Late Show Wednesday night. Nick Kroll was also on the show, talking about the Valentine episode of his Big Mouth show, which deals with puberty and curiosity about sex. This led to a PG-13 discussion about how prepared both Courtney and Nick were for their sexual awakening. Courteney saidher parents hadn?t talked to her at all about it but when the time finally came, her mother outfitted her for the big occasion.
(Big Mouth) deals with that sort of awkward age of puberty and learning about sex and all those things. Courteney, were your parents, were they comfortable talking about sex and these changes when you were home?
No, I didn?t learn anything, my mom never talked to me about one thing that I should?ve known. I shouldn?t probably say this, but I will. I was a virgin until I was 21. I think we can be proud of that. But I dated the guy for a long time and my mom was like, ?okay, I think she?s going to be with him for a while,? and she sent me a pair of underwear to try to, you know, womanhood. And they were called Olga, and I swear, the lace was about three and a half, four inches, and then the cotton part. But they were so much better than the ones I was wearing, so I was really backwards when it came to that. But, you know. Get that Coco?
I don?t often discuss how old I was when I lost my V-card because I wasn?t ?legal? in my state. He was the same age, it was consensual, and Im not embarrassed at all, but people hold very strong opinions on others sexual choices, so I leave it be in certain company. But I dont hold opinions on when others lost it so yes, I think Courteney can be proud of her making it to 21. What I love is that Courteney?s mom?s contribution was not discussion, but lingerie. Like, let?s analyze those priorities. But I also love that Courteney admitted that the panties her mom sent were better than anything she owned so, well done mom!
If you watch the video, Nick said his folks were ?supportive? but doesn?t address if they discussed sex or puberty with him. He had three older siblings so I?m sure the subject came up. Its important to me that sex is discussed openly in our house. When my kids were young, they?d ask about a word they?d heard and I?d preface it by saying, ?it has to do with sex, do you want to know?? and they?d decide if they were comfortable. Now it seems like they bring the majority of their questions to us, including a lot of is this normal puberty-
