Kicking the week off on a high note, MOD Entertainment released the first photo from its film ?Regression? starring Emma Watson and Ethan Hawke.
Based on the screenplay by Alejandro Amenabar, the flick is set in Minnesota in 1990 and follows detective Bruce Kenner (Hawke) during his investigation of Angela?s (Watson) case against her father.
?Regression? also stars Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick.
The Amenabar-directed film was shot in Toronto, Canada and is expected to open in theaters on August 28, 2015.

Things definitely didn?t end well between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry and now she?s been told to pay up.
Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon has ordered that the ?Monster?s Ball? babe fork over $16,000 per month to help support their daughter Nahla, or $192,000 per year.
Furthermore, Halle owes Aubry a retroactive payment of $115,000 as well as the full amount of Gabriel?s legal fees, around $300,000.
Thankfully, Ms. Berry is now happily married to Olivier Martinez and they have an 8-month-old son together.

Here are some brand-new photos of Angelina Jolie and UK Foreign Secretary William Hague opening up their Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict in London today. Hague and Jolie have been BFFs for more than a year now, and Hague has cited Angelina?s work, both with the UN and her film In The Land of Blood and Honey, as one of his biggest eye-openers for the prevalence of sexual violence in war zones and conflicts. They have traveled together to bring attention to conflict zones where women are being (or have been) victimized. And now they?re co-hosting this summit together.
It seems weird to talk about fashion in this post, but it?s my job, so I?ll just say? I like Angelina in white. The white is so refreshing after her all-black uniforms and her Maleficent costumes/red carpet looks. That being said, I think I would have liked this better with a straight skirt and the jacket sleeves need to be less puffy. The suit is Michael Kors, by the way. She’s been wearing more Kors lately. Huh.
At the opening of the summit, Angelina and Hague both made speeches. Hague praised her, and Angelina dedicated the event to an unnamed and ?abandoned? rape victim in Bosnia. She said in part:
“We must send a message around the world that there is no disgrace in being a survivor of sexual violence, that the shame is on the aggressor?. It is a myth that rape is an inevitable part of conflict. There is nothing inevitable about it. It is a weapon of war aimed at civilians. It has nothing to do with sex, everything to do with power. We live in safe countries with doctors we can go to when we’re hurt, police we can turn to when we’re wronged, and institutions that protect us. They live in refugee camps, on bombed-out streets, in areas where there is no law, no protection, and not even the hope of justice. We need to shatter that culture of impunity and make justice the norm, not the exception, for these crimes. We need political will replicated across the world and we need treat this subject as a priority.?

True Blood comes back for its seventh and final season on June 22. I wasn’t impressed with the way that season six ended, but you know that I’ll keep watching it until the bitter end. I can’t get enough of that campy show.
Star Anna Paquin came out as bisexual in 2010. She later clarified why she went public. “There is a lot of prejudice against us but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be.” She was right. Since Anna came out, Evan Rachel Wood, Amber Heard and Maria Bello have all come out as bisexual.
Anna lent her support to Gay Pride week in some new tweets saying that she’s proud to be bisexual. Cool! Here’s what she tweeted [via US Weekly]

Just yesterday I heard an interview on the Diane Rehm show on NPR with Piper Kerman, the woman who wrote Orange is The New Black based on her experience in women’s prison. (She’s portrayed by Taylor Schilling on the Netflix series.) Diane specifically asked Piper about her sexuality (she’s bisexual). Piper said that times have changed dramatically in the 20 years since she came out and said that “I think we’ve come so far that it’s amazing.” (You can hear her comments at 42:00 into the last video on this page.)
Piper is right. There used to be a huge stigma around bisexuality, as if it was a choice and as if people don’t fall on a spectrum of sexuality. Not everyone is on one side or the other and there have been great gains in public awareness. Celebrities like Anna have helped.
Getting back to True Blood, I have a very mild spoiler to share. Stop reading now if you’re spoiler averse. Alex Skarsgard (Eric Northman) recently told TV Guide that his vampire character has a sexy dream sequence with human Jason Stackhouse, played by Ryan Kwanten. Yes! It’s one of those homoerotic sex dreams that the humans have about vamps when they’ve ingested their blood. (Remember the shower scene between vampire Bill and Sam Merlotte?) Alex said that the scene “was written like an Argentinean telenovela, totally over the top. It was tough because Ryan is incredibly funny. I couldn?t stop laughing.” I hope we get to see that soon! There are more True Blood spoilers in Alex’s interview if you’re interested.

This post is dedicated to my mom, who loves Damian Lewis. Today is her last day of teaching! She?s retiring and she?s super-happy about it. So I thought this would be a nice gift for her, a post about one of her favorite gingers.
Damian was photographed a few days ago in Wiltshire, England in full royal regalia. Like, old-school regalia. He?s playing Henry VIII in a new miniseries/TV show called Wolf Hall, using Hilary Mantel?s book of the same name as source material. Apparently, the show is all about the political struggles of Henry VIII, with Mark Rylance playing Oliver Cromwell and Jonathan Pryce (I LOVE Pryce) as Cardinal Wolsey. Claire Foy will play Anne Boleyn and Mark Gatiss (Mycroft!) is in there somewhere too. As is Jessica Raine, best known as Jenny Lee on Call the Midwife (Raine recently quit Call the Midwife!).
So, what are your thoughts on Damian as Henry VIII? The real king was a ginger, and it?s always nice when films and television at least get the historical figure?s hair color right (remember Eric Bana as Henry VIII? That was? weird). But in this point in history, when he was dealing with Anne Boleyn, wasn?t he already a pretty big/fat man? I thought so. Maybe Damian needs more padding.
Damian was free to take on this new TV project because (SPOILER from last year) Nicholas Brody died last season of Homeland. I?m genuinely worried about they?re going to do next season without Brody, but Damian seems relatively happy that he?s off the show. Although? he recently told the NYT that he ?misses Danesy! I miss her.? Aw? he misses Claire. That?s sweet. He?s also considering a return to Broadway in a revival of Tennessee Williams? The Night of the Iguana.
Last thing ? Damian took part in The Hollywood Reporter?s TV Actors? round-table discussion and his part of the interview was really good. Go here to read.

In June, 2012, Halle Berry was ordered to pay her ex, Gabriel Aubry, a whopping $20,000 a month in child support for their then four year-old daughter, Nahla. That number of course took into consideration the difference between their incomes. Halle has a net worth of $70 million, while Gabriel, a male model, has a net worth estimated at $4.5 million. Of course those numbers may not reflect their day to day financial reality. Halle has a new TV show coming out in July, a sci fi series on CBS called Extant. The last we heard about Aubry’s income, he owed $200k in back taxes and was rumored to be struggling in his modeling career.
Gabriel’s financial situation is about to become more stable, since Halle was ordered to pay him over $100k in missed child support payments along with $16,000 a month for Nahla, now six.
Halle Berry’s checkbook is about to get a workout … she’s going to start paying baby daddy Gabriel Aubry $16,000/month in child support — which comes to almost $200K a year.
A judge signed off on a settlement involving their custody dispute over 6-year-old Nahla.
L.A. Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon also ordered Berry to pay Aubry a retroactive payment of $115,000. And get this … she also has to pay him $300,000 in attorney’s fees.

What many outlets are missing is that $16k a month is a decrease from the amount Halle was previously ordered to pay, which she obviously hasn’t bothered to pay in over six months. She’s a deadbeat mom, basically, and what’s interesting to me is that Halle stopped paying her child support right around the time that her son with Olivier Martinez, Maceo, was born.
I wonder if Halle is still with Olivier. There was a rumor in March that Olivier moved out, and we haven’t heard much since. I did find photos of them together on Mother’s Day about a month ago, so maybe everything is ok on that front. Whatever the case, it’s probably a good thing that Halle wasn’t allowed to move to France with Nahla.

Racking up more frequent flyer miles, Candice Swanepoel jetted into Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (June 8) to tend to some career duties.
The gorgeous South African supermodel was stylish in a short black dress with a black hat and a denim jacket as she flashed a smile to fans and shutterbugs waiting to welcome her.
Now that summer is almost here, Candice told Vogue UK she can?t stress enough the importance of sunscreen. "Sun protection is really important for me. My face really burns and it's not cute! My facialist gives me a really strong sunscreen, and I wear that every day, whether it's sunny or not."
She also ditches most of her cosmetics during vacations. "When I'm on holiday, I try to take a break from make-up. If we have a night out, or go and see a band or something, I'll do some blush and mascara?but I try to keep it really minimal."
