Ms. Moore recently finalized her divorce to Ashton Kutcher, and rumor has it she scored around $250,000 by selling her five-carat diamond engagement ring.
An insider told press, ?Ashton broke her heart. Anything that reminds her of him makes her sad, and she wants to be happy. Demi says she's now at peace with the divorce but she felt she needed to clear her head of any negative energy. Demi now insists she is fully cleansed of Ashton and is even ready to welcome Mila into her life.?

On Saturday night at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, Katy Perry did a stunning rendition of “Roar.” Haha, just kidding. It was terrible. The track she was lip-syncing to malfunctioned leaving her out of sync with the music.
It was so bad that the host eventually shook his head and stopped her mid-performance and asked if she wanted to start over again. She did and actually sang live this time, but still used a backing track. I give the recovery a 6/10. Had there been more cleavage, I would have given it a 8/10. It’s the little things.

Stepping out for a leisurely lunch, Reese Witherspoon showed up at The Ivy restaurant in Santa Monica, California on Sunday afternoon (December 15).
The ?Walk the Line? lady proudly carried her baby boy Tennessee Toth as she entered the establishment, sporting a striped red and blue top with jeans, red flats and a Yves Saint Laurent tote bag.
And while she?s largely considered to be one of the top actresses in Hollywood, Reese was just named to Forbes? Most Overpaid Actors of 2013 list.
Based on her recent films? revenues, it turns out Ms. Witherspoon only brought in $3.90 for each dollar she was paid. Reese landed at #3 on the list, just behind Adam Sandler and Katherine Heigl.

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian out with her new BFF Blac Chyna yesterday in Beverly Hills. According to Fame/Flynet, they were coming out of a private house where they had just gotten their eyebrows ?done?. I don?t get it. What is to be ?done?? I have eyebrow issues, but I deal with them my own way ? by obsessively plucking them while I?m watching TV. I?ve waxed them a few times but I always worry about what could go wrong with eyebrow waxing. And I don?t have light coloring or anything, so I don?t have to worry about dyeing my brows or anything, and I don?t see why Kim would need to worry about it either. So what is she getting done? Are her eyebrows professionally plucked or waxed?
Kim also participated in a Q&A session, and she discussed her future family planning:
Kim Kardashian has said she would like TWO more children with Kanye West. The superstar couple welcomed North into the world in June, and the reality TV star has admitted she sees herself with a bigger family in the future.
Kim was taking part in a Q&A session with fans on Mobio INsider, and she was asked where she would like to be in a decade. She responded: “In 10 years I see myself raising a family of 3 children possibly and just [loving] life my husband and [our] children.”
It’s a lovely sentiment showing Kim is quickly embracing the family she is creating with her rapper fianc, whom she described as her “best friend”.
She added: “I love the Kanye you guys probably dont see so often. he always makes me feel safe and protected. We are best friends. thats all a girl would need forever. (sic)”
Given those adorable thoughts and future plans, it’s no surprise Kim is getting very excited to spend her first Christmas with both Kanye and North. It’s her favourite time of the year , and her festive traditions are all centered around the importance of family, which can be seen in their annual card .
She said: “Christmas is my absolute fave time of year! its about family. I love the smell of everything Christmas. My moms Christmas Eve party is a tradition we have had since I was born. Then we do Christmas morning, opening presents with our whole family at 6am! Then we all cook breakfast together. (sic)”
After seeing the tree they’ll be gathering around, we’re definitely getting jealous of the Kardashian clan this year!

Wait for it, I?ll put the new Mad Libs at the bottom. For now, let?s discuss the new crack story. According to TMZ (ugh), Lindsay Lohan wants to write a tell-all memoir. I believe they call that ?the TMZ Archives? considering they just publish whatever Lindsay says anyway:
Lindsay Lohan has decided to open the flood gates — penning a gritty, tell-all book about EVERYTHING … her arrests, her drug abuse, her acting career, and her family … and she’s already gotten several serious publishing offers.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ, the book started as a series of journal entries, which she wrote in rehab as a therapeutic exercise. The book is still in its early stages, and it doesn’t have a clear focus, but she says she wants to open up every part of her life.
Lindsay met with a huge literary agency in NYC Thursday — Waxman Leavall, which has repped tons of celebs who wrote books, including Victor Cruz, Novak Djokovic, Bill Murray, Brock Lesnar, and Cal Ripken Jr. The meeting was filmed as part of Lindsay’s docu-series on OWN. We’re told she’s already received several offers for a book deal — most in the six-figure range.
Here’s the problem — it’s Lindsay’s life as told by Lindsay, which means we’ll be reading her version of events.

Here are some new photos of Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston over the weekend in LA. Justin was photographed solo, doing some Christmas shopping at Blackman Cruz, and then Justin went with Jennifer to Emily Blunt?s baby shower. Well? it was either a baby shower or a Christmas party, but The Mail says Jennifer was carrying a present wrapped in lilac paper, which says (to me) that it was a baby shower, not a Christmas party.
Anyway, we?re supposed to understand and acknowledge that Justin and Jennifer are still together, despite the rampant tabloid reports that they?re really struggling and that the wedding may be off, etc. I think both can be true ? they?re together, they?re working through some stuff, but they?re having some real problems. From what I keep hearing, Justin has spent much of the past few months in NYC, barely seeing Jennifer, but he was in LA for Thanksgiving and he?ll probably be there through Christmas. And then he?ll go back to New York in January or February to begin filming his new HBO show. My prediction: by March, they will be over. Justin might hang around through the awards season (especially with Brad Pitt getting so much awards buzz, amirite?) and through Jennifer?s 45th birthday, but my prediction is that they?ll be over by St. Patrick?s Day. Maybe I?m wrong, of course. It?s just my gut feeling.
Meanwhile, if you?re still wondering why Ed Sheeran seems to be spending so much time with Jennifer and with Courteney Cox, it?s because Ed is a matchmaker and now he?s totally down with that crowd. Ed told a media outlet:
?My housemate who I’ve lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating, are now crazy about each other and I ended up just spending a lot of time living in her beach house… bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving Eve at Jennifer’s and Thanksgiving Day at Courteney’s. At Jennifer Aniston’s I passed out. Her house is crazy – she has these big steps that you walk down to a pool. I’d drunk a bit too much, needed the time out and… lay on one of the beds outside the pool and passed out there. But yeah, Courteney’s was a bit more tame.”

Jessica Simpson posted this photo over the weekend ? it was her makeup-less date night. I?ll buy that she wasn?t wearing much makeup, but we need to have a conversation about her lips. I looked through her Twitter photos, and I?m now convinced that Jessica is doing the Nicole Kidman-esque lip injections. And they look horrible! Jessica always had full-ish lips, so I don?t get why she needs to give herself duck lips. Anyway, Jessica has a lengthy new interview with USA Today where she?s basically declaring victory in The Great Weight War. Smart ? she wraps this up with an infomercial about Weight Watchers (thus, fulfilling her contract), but I get the feeling that she?s pretty much over all things WW. Some highlights from the piece:
She was “constantly hungry” with her first pregnancy: ?With Maxwell, I vegged out and laid around. I knew I didn’t have to watch what I was eating for the first time in my life. I kind of let loose, and I gained a lot.? Simpson says she lost more than 50 pounds on Weight Watchers after Maxwell was born. She’s 5-foot-3. Weight Watchers tells members that a healthy weight range for a person of her height is 113 to 141 pounds. When she got pregnant for a second time, Simpson says she gained “what a normal pregnant woman would gain. I did put on a good amount with Ace,” but she won’t give the exact number.
During the second pregnancy: She kept exercising, working with her personal trainer three times a week and going on “walks with Eric, my almost-husband. I tried to get 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day. I wasn’t trying to lose weight. I didn’t mind gaining weight.” When the doctor gave her the OK after Ace was born, Simpson says, “I jumped back on Weight Watchers.”
After Ace, she began WW?s new Simple Start plan: It?s a two-week program that doesn’t require people to count points. It provides a shopping list and menu of options for meals and snacks, as well as splurges such as a glass of wine or serving of ice cream. The plan is based on studies that indicate that weight loss during the first month of dieting is very predictive of both short- and long-term weight-loss success, says Gary Foster, co-chief scientific officer for Weight Watchers. “I saw the results really quickly,” Simpson says, and then she went back to the PointsPlus program.
She doesn?t really cook though: As far as preparing the family meals, Simpson says she has “somebody who comes in and helps out. I do want to make sure I stick with the right recipes, and obviously my schedule is a little jampacked.” She describes herself as “an OK cook. I’m not one of the best. Eric is really good at chopping vegetables. I’m not good at chopping.”
Exercise: One day recently, she walked 18,000 steps. “With both kids, I’m running up and down my stairs a million times. Kids can keep your metabolism going. Eric and I go on walks together. I try and walk about 4 miles a day consistently. It makes me feel better.” Exercise helps her “with all the hormones I have to deal with. Working out and being active overall makes me a happier person to be around. I let out so much more anxiety if I go out and walk and talk to Eric, who is basically my therapist on our walks.” She is also working with personal trainer Harley Pasternak four days a week for 45 minutes. “It’s a lot of resistance training, lots of lunges and squats. There are bursts of cardio throughout the workout as well.”
Dealing with criticism about her weight: Simpson is on a mission “to be the best version of myself and to feel great. I want to be a great mom and a great example to my kids?.People are going to talk about this no matter what. I might as well choose to live a healthy lifestyle. It does get old having people harping on how much you weigh or your body after pregnancy. I need to feel comfortable in my own skin. People are going to pick me apart no matter what I do. I’m always going to have critics out there who will make a story out of something.”

She also says that she?s planning her wedding and looking at sketches for the dress ? God knows when it?s going to go down. I kind of hoped she would do something low-key, perhaps a destination wedding, but I really have no idea these days. She?s also asked about whether she would get knocked up again, and she says: “I can’t even think about being pregnant again right now? but I would never say never.” Lord. She?s going to get knocked up again, I can feel it.

Go out on a limb and put her in something from the Alexander McQueen archives or something. Give her a hat. Sex her up. Something!

Elle: What is your everyday life like?
?My daily life is a movable feast. But, generally speaking, I find retreating into domestic life incredibly calming. I like the simplicity of what some people might find mundane: school lunches, cooking, walking the dog. I have ceased running the Sydney Theatre Company [her husband, Andrew Upton, is now the sole artistic director], so it?s wonderful to do just one thing at a time.?
Is it hard for you to find interesting roles?
?I?ve been very lucky to play iconic roles like Blanche DuBois, Lotte Kotte and Hedda Gabler onstage, but cinema is a different beast. You are not always able to influence the final results in the same way as you can in the theatre. So I?m not always interested in large roles onscreen. I?m more interested in making the space to keep experimenting as an actor. What?s important when you?re working on a film is that you want to work with a director who is going to collaborate with you or who is interested in what you can offer.?
What drew you to the character of Jasmine in Woody?s Blue Jasmine?
?Post-financial crisis, so many men and women have had their worlds shattered and they have fallen from grace. And, like Jasmine, they have had to look at themselves directly in the mirror and reinvent themselves and find out who they are without their social standing, without economic security. I think this story is very current. The unique thing about Jasmine, however, is that she has been a fantasist and has never had a firm grip on who she is or on reality.?
What do you find in theatre that you don?t in cinema?
?In theatre, you are directly engaged with your audience. You know whether a performance has connected with them or not, as you can feel their concentration ebbing and flowing, and that immediately influences the performances. In cinema, the only reference you have is the numbers. Success at the box office can be misleading, artistically speaking. Just because people show up, initially, doesn?t mean they necessarily leave the cinema having been thrilled by what they?ve experienced. You just don?t know how it?s played.?
How do you find the balance between work and family life?
?Like for any working parents, it?s a juggle. The wheels fall off frequently! But I think with children and career, you have to fully appreciate what you have: You can?t always achieve everything and do everything in the way you?d hoped because you?re pulled in a lot of opposing directions. I?m incredibly lucky to have a supportive, engaged partner.?
Can a woman ?have it all??
?No one, male or female, can ?have it all.? There just isn?t enough time. I think the concept puts an incredible pressure on people.?
You have three sons. Do you raise them differently?
?You mean differently to girls? Their gender is one thing, but their personalities are another thing entirely. I try to engage with who they are first and foremost, but, generally, we hope to raise them with a sense of humanity, compassion and giving back. It?s a very introspective, self-involved world in which we all live.
Are you very fashion conscious?
?I love new ideas and the restless rhythm of fashion, but I?m by no means ruled by it. My style has evolved over time, but, in the end, I think it?s probably still that same love of great tailoring. That?s why I also love Armani?s creations so much.?
Can you remember your first fashion splurge?
?My first big purchase goes back to when I was a teenager and I was coveting all those exquisitely tailored men?s suits. When I emerged from drama school with my very first paycheque, I bought an Armani suit, which I still have?and still wear! Because I think where I relate to Armani, the Armani universe really, is the timelessness of it. It?s simultaneously modern and effortless but also timeless and classic and eminently chic. I feel like I?ve always aspired to the grace, simplicity and timelessness that his designs embody.?
Do you enjoy being ?Cate Blanchett? or is it something of a poisoned chalice for you?
?I?m ?CB? most of the time, or ?Sweetheart? or ?Cate? or ?Mom.? I guess I?m only ?Cate Blanchett? in a public remote sense or when I have to sign something official. Fame can be a fairly limiting, hollow achievement unless it?s backed up by ability and substance.?

Lorde and Swifty are now friends! Actually, they?ve been tight for at least a month, I think. Apparently, they spent time together in NYC in November, and then Lorde and Swifty had dinner in Melbourne last week when Swifty was on tour.
You might remember, this fall Lorde gave an interview about her belief system and her feminism and she ended saying: ?Taylor Swift is so flawless, and so unattainable, and I don?t think it?s breeding anything good in young girls. ?I?m never going to be like Taylor Swift, why can?t I be as pretty as Lorde?? That?s f?? bulls–t.? Which isn?t exactly shade ? it?s more like a backhanded compliment combined with a rather nuanced social critique. But everyone was like ?Lorde hates Swifty!? and so Lorde came out later and clarified what she said and made an even more nuanced argument about ?Photoshop culture? and the responsibility artists have to their fans. So? I guess all is forgiven between Lorde and Swifty. Lorde got an invite to Swifty?s b-day party so now they?re besties.
So, what do you think Swifty and Lorde talk about? I’m actually somewhat surprised that they would have anything to talk about because Swifty just seems so… boy-crazy. Here are some photos of Katy Perry on the red carpet of the NRJ music awards in Cannes on Saturday. She won two awards — International Song (“Roar”) and International Female Artist — and performed a few times. Katy had a huge snafu during her rendition of “Roar,” and I’m including the video at the bottom of the post. She was lipsynching but not “synching” well like she couldn’t hear the music. It was a real mess, and the show’s host stopped Katy mid-performance and asked her to start over … with her real voice. Damn!
First let’s talk about fashion for a moment. Katy is wearing a mulleted white Osman dress with lots of gold embroidery. The dress is kind of a nightmare from afar but looks better closeup. Katy’s makeup looks typically heavy, but she’s still so pretty. I envy her hairline in this high ponytail (with an artificial braid) so much. Katy’s got the image down, if only she could sing well live. More on that in a moment.
Here’s a video clip of the aforementioned performance. The “technical difficulties” continued for a good few minutes. Katy looks super embarrassed when the host calls her out and makes her start over, but she powers through somehow. Her “real” live voice sounds so much different than the recorded version.
On Sunday, Katy’s performing difficulties grew even worse with “patchy vocals” on the UK X-Factor final episode. Katy wore an ugly gold bird costume and sang so poorly that she’d have never made it onto the show if she wasn’t already a pop star. I guess “image” far outweighs vocal talent in the music biz these days.
Here are some of the other outfits Katy wore to the event. The blue dress is very pretty, but these bird costumes have got to go.

Last week, Britney Spears made an appearance on Univision?s morning show, Despierta America!. And by that I mean I think the interview was pretaped, because they edited out parts of the translation from Spanish to English, so it looks like Britney is listening to questions in Spanish and answering in English. Anyway, this interview has gotten a lot of coverage because? Britney might be kind of racist? But it?s Britney, and it might be a combination of mis-translation and just Brit-Brit being Brit-Brit? No. I just watched the video. She?s actually pretty inappropriate.
The first ?that?s kind of racist!? moment comes when Britney is asked about living in LA and her comfort with Latin culture in LA and she?s asked to name her favorite part of Latin culture. Britney says: ?I think it?s very sexy. I’ve always loved Latinos. They make me think of a bad-boy type that your father wouldn’t let you go out with.? Inappropriate race-based stereotype or ?that?s so racist??
Then the dude asks Britney who is her perfect man and Britney adopts a fast Italian-sounding accent to say ?Just talk like you!? Does she think this dude is Italian? Why is she talking like Chef Boyardee? WHAT IS HAPPENING?! But the worst part ? seriously, this is the worst part ? comes at the 1:57 mark when Britney is asked if she speaks Spanish and she does a quick moment of absolute gibberish and then laughs. Oh, Brit-Brit. NO.
So, is Britney racist or is she just? not quite prepared to do Spanish-language interviews? While I think Britney could use some racial sensitivity lessons (and then some), I?m also sort of worried that Britney?s management is going to use this interview disaster as an excuse to withhold her from other media outlets. When Britney goes off-message, it?s usually cause for consternation, but Jamie Spears and Britney?s manager are really going to have to put out some fires with this one.

Zoe Saldana covers the January issue of Flare magazine to promote Out of the Furnace, which looked really good (great cast including Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson) but bombed at the box office. This photoshoot is basically “Zoe posing weirdly with various chairs.” She’s a beautiful girl, but the angular poses she chose for this shoot are a little awkward looking. Maybe the photographer wanted her to pose this way.
Before we get to the interview, I wanted to mention a discussion that Zoe did with Collider that’s been itching at me for a few weeks. Zoe went off on a rant about awful blockbuster movies are compared to indies. She said, “There’s a lot wrong with doing blockbusters. Let’s be real. And I?m a part of a lot of them, but these are stories that are great.” Zoe was attempting to talk up her roles in low-budget films that are “artistic” as opposed to “entertainment.” Still this is the same actress who starred in Avatar plus Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, which fit the very definition of “blockbuster” and cumulatively earned over $3.6 billion. Zoe doesn’t mind taking blockbuster-sized paychecks, does she? She needs to sit down.
Zoe’s similarly full of herself in this interview with Flare. I appreciate her points about being a strong woman, but the way she says things rubs me the wrong way:
She’s a lady: “I?m a lady. My mother, my grandmother and my great-grandmother raised ladies. We don?t breed skanky, coquettish, giddy little girls. We breed women.”
She lost her dad at age 9: “My mom was sad a lot. Losing the love of your life when you’re young, and you have three freakin’ kids…At the end of the day, that warmth that fills your bed is not there.”
On girl power: “Women aren?t wimpy. They don’t complain all the time. They can open up jars! They can f—ing save the day! They can support their whole family. They can support their men. Half of my friends make more money than their male partners.”
Stop whining, ladies: “Women who are very whiny annoy the f—ing crap out of me. It?s impossible for my sisters and me to hold a conversation with a woman who is incompetent. It?s one thing to be uncertain, a little insecure and scared, and another thing to be lazy. I can?t deal with mediocrity and incompetence. And you see it in people?s eyes.”
Don’t take work home: “I?m an artist. I love going to work — researching and conceiving a character with my director is my favourite time — but as soon as I get home and open up that bottle of wine or sit down with my family, I?m not talking about work.”
Standing up for herself on set: “You’d see all the boys together, and they?re discussing the scene and what?s going to happen. You just go, ‘Yeah, but…’ and they say, ‘Oh, but we already discussed that.’” There are three possible reactions, she says: rolling your eyes, “because men think they know better”; laughing; or, she says, “sitting and watching while everybody feels uncomfortable around you, and feeling really good about yourself because you stood up for yourself, you mattered, you voiced your presence.” Saldana has no problem pulling a mentor or male authority aside, she says, laying out for me her usual plan of attack: Her “heart racing and sweating buckets,” she declares, without blinking, “I’m not happy.” And then she states her case: “I understand everything you?re saying, but these are the terms we agreed on, and that is why I got on a plane and came out here, and I decided to have your back, and now I don’t feel like you?re having my back. This character is invisible. She’s completely irrelevant, and she should be more.”
On criticism: “There’s nothing anybody can say or think about me that I will give a sh-t about. Honestly.”
Her Nina Simone movie still has no release date: “It?s very abstract. It was sort of like a love song to Nina. At the end of the day, no matter how the movie is received, I?m not going to regret anything.”
On New Year’s resolutions: “I stopped doing them It?s like heading to a party and telling your friends, ‘I?m not going to drink, you guys.’ Meanwhile, you?re the one who blacks out! Let?s be real. Oh god, it?s usually me.”

On the point about women earning more than their men, I assume Zoe is referring to her own quickie marriage to artist Marco Perego. I think it’s great that Zoe earns more than her man, but she needs to realize that in a lot of professions, men still earn more than their female counterparts. That’s just a reality. It sucks.
Zoe’s remarks about not caring what other people say arrive after the journo mentioned criticisms of her Nina Simone role. I think Zoe does care because who wouldn’t? Especially when one is such a sensitive “artist.” Oh well. It will be interesting to see if the movie ever sees the light of day.
She has a point about New Year’s resolutions though. They never stick.

If you were wondering why MySpace munchkin Tila Tequila was writing dumb conspiracy theories about the death of Paul Walker on her Facebook, it’s not because a Juggalo finally hit her in the head with a rock, it’s probably because she wanted to get some publicity for the new sex tape she’s releasing. She’s not as dumb as she looks, apparently.
While Tila Tequila’s first sex tape featured girl on girl action, TMZ says Tila is banging a dude in this one and that it’s very hardcore. Naturally, it’ll be released by Vivid who’s cornered the celebrity sex tape market for the past six years.
Vivid plans to release the tape in time for Christmas. Presumably so Santa’s elves can relieve some stress during this most wonderful time of the year.

In a show of support for Free the Nipple, Miley Cyrus flashed her boobs on Twitter over the weekend. Granted, she covered everything up with stickers so the message was diluted a bit and, unfortunately, it made her look a little like Justin Bieber. All I’m saying is this could have turned out way better than it did.
If you didn’t know, Free the Nipple is a movement which argues that if men are allowed to go topless in public, women should be afforded the same right without fear of being arrested for indecency.
