She has oodles of talent and plenty of sex appeal and Halle Berry's latest venture finds her knee-deep in lingerie design.
The ?Monster?s Ball? babe has joined forces with Target department stores to launch a newly-revitalized Scandale Paris lineup of unmentionables priced around $16 per piece.
Berry explained, "I fell in love with Scandale while I was in Paris, because the brand reminded me of the city itself?beautiful and inspiring.?
And of the new 10-piece range, Halle heralded, ?I am excited for the US debut to be at Target and to launch the brand globally in 2015. I look forward to giving more women the chance to enjoy what European women have come to love for more than eight decades."
Scandale Paris co-owner Erik Ryd added, "It is a fantastic opportunity to have this relationship with Halle Berry where she is a true partner in the business. We are delighted that she discovered Scandale and wanted to be a part of the brand's future. Her knowledge of what women want matched with our lingerie expertise and Scandale's rich heritage is what makes this collaboration so special."

They called it quits on their love last year, but now there seems to be new hope for Chris Evans and Minka Kelly.
According to GossipCop, the ?Captain America? hunk has been seen out and about with the ?Friday Night Lights? lady as of late.
Last month, Chris reportedly took Minka to hang with his family in Massachusetts and they ended up out at a karaoke bar.
And as recently as Tuesday (October 21) Evans invited Ms. Kelly over to his Los Angeles home for dinner.

Tori Spelling had another medical emergency a few days ago. She was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai for pneumonia-like symptoms. The Mail said doctors suspected Enterovirus. TMZ went further and added that Tori was under an Ebola-like quarantine. I didn’t cover the story because I was afraid of saying something not-so-nice. Tori may actually be very ill, but you can bet she let the tv cameras film the whole ordeal.
The new season of True Tori rages forth. We last spoke of Tori having lunch with Dean McDermott’s ex, Mary Jo Eustace. The encounter only made Tori look like a flailing floozy compared to the composed, civilized Mary Jo. I wondered why Mary Jo would appear on the show. Radar reveals that she was paid $10,000 for her trouble. That’s funny. Tori’s only making $50,000 for the whole season, and Dean’s making nothing.
The latest promo for the show features Tori bragging about how she and Dean slept together the first night they met (on the set of a Lifetime movie). Tori previously said she instantly wanted to marry Dean: “Like a million blocks of hearts first fell on me.” The main problem is that Dean was married and adopting a child with Mary Jo. Tori was married too, but whatever. She describes their initial lovemaking as the best thing ever. They weren’t just hitting it. They were in looove.
In this video, Tori says “It wasn’t like, ‘oh, just get your rocks off, have sex with someone just to have sex,’ you know? It was a conscious decision, like, fell head over heels for you.” Sure it was. Here’s Tori’s latest heartfelt speech:
She’s so full of it. Tori thinks Dean cheated on her because it’s “karma.” No. Dean cheated because Dean is a cheater. Tori is also a cheater. That’s the only truth of this whole dumb show. I don’t even know if Dean really cheated on Tori, but Tori filmed herself looking at a photo of Emily Goodhand. Tori was upset because she didn’t think Emily was attractive. Then Tori whined about finances before bragging about the 16-day sexfest she and Dean enjoyed this summer. I bet they filmed that too. God, this is so gross.

Always happy to help a good cause, Selena Gomez was gorgeous as she welcomed the audience at We Day Vancouver on Wednesday evening (October 22).
Sporting a fabulous hot Pink dress, the ?Wizards of Waverly Place? starlet took the stage at Rogers Arena as part of her UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador duties.
Throughout the evening, Selena posted several snapshots to Instagram with captions like, ?Unbelievable show!? and ?The truth. My Joy.? Here are some photos of Keanu Reeves at last night?s Hollywood screening of his new film, John Wick. I have to say? I think the photographers on the red carpet were in love with him. There are about a million close-up shots of just Keanu?s 50-year-old vampire face. Enjoy! Keanu is looking particularly great these days, so much so that any ?would you hit it?? type of question is answered with a resounding ?YES!? from every corner of the globe. But for whatever reason, Keanu isn?t getting major studio love these days. And I don?t know why? He has a stellar reputation for being a lovely guy to cast and crew alike. He works hard. He?s constantly underestimated. Keanu talked a little bit about studio films versus indies in a new interview with Indie Wire:
Indie Wire: You aren’t doing many studio movies these days. “John Wick” was produced independently and acquired later by Lionsgate. Do you have a preference for indies over studio projects?
Keanu: Not really. The last studio movie I did was “47 Ronin,” but before that it had been a long time ? probably “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” So I haven’t been getting many offers from the studios.
IW: Are you OK with that?
Keanu: No, it sucks, but it’s just the way it is. You can have positive and negative experiences, but what I like about studios are the resources and the worlds that they can create. Obviously, a lot of good filmmakers work on studio movies. Even when I was working on studio movies more often, I was always doing independent movies. So for me, that was just not happening, but I want to keep going, making things, and telling stories. I want to be able to do that ? to be an actor, a director, to produce, you know? If we’re going to do a delineation between studio and independent [films], I was always hoping to do both.

Part of me thinks that it?s interesting sociologically that Keanu is facing the same dilemma that many over-40 actresses face: he?s a movie star from a different era of Hollywood filmmaking and studios don?t want to pay a 50-year-old to be the lead anymore. He?s aged out of the current teenage-boy-audience-driven filmmaking. And unlike the other aging action stars ? Bruce Willis, Arnold, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, etc ? Keanu doesn?t have a major franchise to endlessly milk with neverending sequels. Huh. Keanu has more in common with Diane Lane than Bruce Willis.

Back in August, Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp confirmed that they had split up after more than three-and-a-half years together. While I believe Mellencamp left his wife for Meg back in the day, I sort of liked John and Meg together. They made some kind of crazy-wonderful sense. They had a crusty love. Just last week, I actually got an email from someone wanting a Crusty Love Update, so here you go: Crusty Love 4 Eva!!!! They?re back together. YAY!
Things aren’t tumblin’ and crumblin’ down after all for John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan. After apparently breaking off their three-year relationship in late August, Ryan, 52 and Mellencamp, 63, are rekindling their romance.
“They are back together and it’s brand new,” a source close to Mellencamp tells PEOPLE. “They’re really happy about it.”
The pair were seen looking comfortable and relaxed together in New York City on Oct. 15 as they strolled through Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. The news of their reunion isn’t completely out of the blue ? the Indiana-based musician recently made it clear that he still carries a torch for the When Harry Met Sally actress.
“She’s an angel sent to me, and I’m very happy,” he told the Today show on Sept. 25. “And, you know, nothing’s over ’til it’s over.”
Just a day later, the rocker told the Associated Press: “I’m very happy with the time I’ve spent with Meg Ryan. She’s a beautiful girl, and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her. Not gonna happen. I’m grateful for the three and a half years we’ve been together.”
“Nothing’s over,” he said when asked if they might reunite. “I never say ‘die’ for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?”
The “Jack and Diane” crooner also mentioned that Ryan had taken a photograph that appeared on the musician’s new album, Plain Spoken. Another Mellencamp insider says the couple faced difficulties such as the distance between his home base in Indiana, and hers in New York City. “There were disagreements over style of life and logistical problems which clouded their relationship,” the insider says. “But there is no doubt that he cares for her a great deal.”
“They are a great couple,” adds the Mellencamp source. “All their friends were hoping it would work out.”

Well, I don?t see how getting back together after a few months solves the long-term problems of living in two different states, but sure. Maybe they?ve agreed to compromise after taking a breather. If these two were younger and in the first flush of it, I might have suggested that there were disagreements about whether they should marry. But I doubt it. I truly think Meg couldn?t give a damn if she ever remarries. And Mellencamp?s probably a little gun-shy about marriage these days too (didn?t his ex take him to the cleaners?). Anyway? Crusty Love Never Dies!!!

Minnie Driver is promoting her new movie, Beyond the Lights. Her role is that of a “nasty Hollywood momager.” I wonder if she based her character upon Kris Jenner. That’s the only way Kris should ever be an inspiration to anyone. Minnie spoke to Us Weekly about how she doesn’t think that children should be allowed to act. That’s quite the sweeping statement because so many tv shows and movies include kid and teenage roles. Minnie even works with teenagers on About a Boy, which could make things awkward for Minnie. The parents of her tv son, Benjamin Stockham, may not appreciate the shade. Minnie has a point, so I’ll let her take it away:
On showbiz parents: “I’m not really for the whole kids in show business thing. It’s really difficult even when you meet lovely parents of children who are in show business. There is still the fact that they’re not having a childhood. They are out of their element, and in the element of an adult world which is not always appropriate. It seems to me there is always a certain level of desperation that makes a person put a child in that position.”
Her momager character: “That’s an interesting place to start for a character: Someone who’s desperate and conflicted. And if that’s overshadowing everything else, it doesn’t matter how nice or kind or empathetic they may be elsewhere. The overriding thing is quite fierce. You love them, of course you love them, but you want this other thing. It’s the realm of the hungry ghosts. That’s really interesting for an actor. You can’t be a villain. Villains aren’t interesting unless there is the un-villainous part of them. You really understand why she does what she does … You really get it. It’s not from a malicious point of view. She’s not a sociopath, she’s not evil. She just desperately did not want to go back to that poverty and she wanted something better for her kid.”

I guess we won’t be seeing Minnie’s own son, Henry (6), onscreen anytime soon. It will be interesting to see if Minnie keeps this perspective if Henry expresses interest in acting as he grows older. I see what she’s saying. We’ve seen so many showbiz kids get sucked into drugs and a party lifestyle. These kids turn into bratty divas and then fail to make the transition into adult acting. Minnie’s right. These kids should have a real childhood. They have the whole rest of their lives to work. Let kids be kids.

A few weeks ago, I covered these photos from the set of Freeheld, the new drama about the totally true story of a cop (played by Julianne Moore) dying of cancer, and she wants to leave her death benefits to her partner (played by Ellen Page). This particular story has been told in an Oscar-winning documentary short, but I?m looking forward to this version too, just because? Julianne and Ellen!! YAY! As it turns out, not everyone is happy that this film is being made. Specifically, one Catholic school that refused to allow the film?s production to film within the school.
Freeheld, which is currently filming in the New York area, tells the story of how a lesbian couple fought discrimination more than 10 years ago to extend domestic partner benefits. With same-sex marriage spreading state by state this year, the movie ? which stars Julianne Moore and Ellen Page, who is also a producer on the film ? might feel like it took place a long time ago.
But Freeheld?s director Peter Sollett, producers, cast, and production staff were recently reminded that while some things have changed for LGBT people, others have not.
In Freeheld ? based on Cynthia Wade?s Oscar-winning documentary short from 2007 ? Moore plays a New Jersey detective dying of lung cancer who seeks to leave her pension to her partner, played by Page. In one scene, the couple applies for a civil union, and the production needed a building that could pass for a town hall.
Initially, the location scout was told that Salesian High School, a private, all-boys Catholic school in New Rochelle, N.Y., was available for the afternoon the scene was to be filmed. But then higher-up school administrators said no. Michael Shamberg, Freeheld?s producer, told BuzzFeed News that he then appealed to Salesian?s principal, John Flaherty, who told Shamberg to send an email that he could forward to Father John Serio, the school?s president. After doing that, Shamberg never heard back from Serio, and Freeheld shot the scene somewhere else.
?I respect their right to say no,? Shamberg said. ?But it?s sad.?
When BuzzFeed News contacted Flaherty by email about the school?s reasoning in not wanting a movie with LGBT content to film there, he wrote: ?All are welcomed at Salesian High School. Our School chooses to embrace the social issues such as hunger, homelessness, poverty, and helping the less fortunate.?
When asked in a follow-up email for more specifics, Flaherty responded, ?I will let my initial statement stand for itself.?

Shamberg is right, it?s the Church?s prerogative to deny certain films the right to film on their property. But it IS sad. If this was a movie about something other than gay marriage or civil unions or equal rights for same-sex partners, I?m guessing the Church would have allowed the film production in.

As we all know, LeAnn Rimes is releasing a ?Christmas EP? of six yodeling Christmas songs which few people really want to hear. I tend to think this is a desperate cling to any kind of musical relevancy since her last three albums have flopped and every time LeAnn has to promote anything, it always becomes a carnival of delusion and lies. Not only is LeAnn going to promote the hell out of this sad EP, she?s also going to do a Christmas tour. She?s been trying to hype this tour for months now ? back in July, she released a video announcement of the tour which basically involved LeAnn strutting around the beach in a bikini. Go here to remember the stupidity. Well, now LeAnn has released Part II of the? video announcement of her tour. Basically, thirsty chica is thirsty. You should only watch this is you don?t mind cringing for a full three minutes.
The first 20 seconds, I swear it was going to turn into a budget p0rn. Like, that?s a Halloween-themed p0rn set-up. Scantily-clad blonde passing out candy. And then she would need to call the candyman to help her find some ?extra candy? or something. As for the scantily-clad blonde? she?s a unicorn, get it? What IS the deal with LeAnn and unicorns? She?s been making unicorn references for months now and I still don?t understand the metaphor. As for the rest of it? God, did she spend all of $20 on the production? And thinking about Christmas in the middle of the Halloween season is just depressing. Last thing: LeAnn is a God-awful actress. Like, really terrible.
