Tending to her promotional obligations, Nicole Scherzinger showed up at the ?X Factor? press launch in London, England on Thursday (August 29).
The gorgeous former Pussycat Doll smiled for the shutterbugs in her navy blue jumpsuit teamed with red heels while cohorts Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow, and Louis Walsh hammed it up nearby.
According to a report, Nicole almost had to fly coach when she made the trip from Los Angeles to London earlier this week.
Apparently, the folks at the ?X Factor? booked her an economy ticket, and Scherzinger was forced to fork over more than $5000 to secure a seat in the First Class cabin.
An insider shared, "She always flies first-class but she was amazed to find that she had been booked into economy. The X Factor books all of her flights ? but she hadn't expected this. Nicole spent 20 minutes trying to get BA to upgrade her but in the end she had to put her hand in her pocket. There were a few mutterings about Simon Cowell being a tightwad."

Stepping out for a delicious meal, Jessica Simpson showed up at the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California on Wednesday (August 28).
Joined by her fianc Eric Johnson and daughter Maxwell, the ?Fashion Star? babe looked beautiful in a tiger print shawl and black trousers as she strolled back to her car.
Ms. Simpson is featured on the cover of the new issue of US Weekly with her adorable baby boy Ace Knute and proud sister Maxwell, though in the interview she swears she?s done having kiddos.
Simpson explained, "Pregnancy is a lot. It was hard to do two so close together. I have this huge sense of accomplishment, and I feel in my heart that I?m done. But obviously, accidents do happen!"

I have to admit that Miley Cyrus’ new little devil-horned hairdo is steadily growing on me, but damn, this Miley news stream (much like Miley) just won’t stop. In fact, there’s a bit of crossover with today’s Justin Bieber post, so if you’re curious about the Miley-Bieb duet called (get ready for it) “Twerk,” go to that post to listen to the song in all of its awful glory.
Meanwhile, people are still bagging on Miley for a VMA performance in which she stripped to a bra and (too-small) panties and set about gyrating with a bunch of stuffed bears and a stiff (no pun intended) Robin Thicke. Yesterday, we talked about how parent associations were all upset, and now it seems that the Teddy Bear Fund is calling Miley out too. According to TMZ, the organization stated, “Miley made a poor choice to use a universally loved children’s teddy bear in an offensive way. There is always good art and bad art — unfortunately … this was bad art.” Seriously.
Miley’s stunts are paying off because Billboard is predicting a week of strong single sales following the ass flash seen ’round the world.
Oh, and Miley is actually in the process of recording with Kanye West on a remix of “Black Skinhead.” Kanye has jumped aboard the Miley train along with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J, who have collaborated with Miley on the new Mike Will Made It single, “23.” A clip of the song leaked yesterday, but it keeps getting yanked off YouTube. (The Mail has posted a few seconds of audio featuring Miley very awkwardly rapping.) Some of the lyrics of the song include the following: “I’m in the club high on Perc with some shades on / Tank up, mini skirt with some J’s on / I be in the club standing on the couch / In the wolf greys like it’s my house.” Just wait — Miley will soon claim that she’s not saying “Perc” at all. She’s just saying her own name again, and we’re too thick to figure that out.
If there was any doubt at all about that silly report about Miley’s team allegedly freaking out, manager Larry Rudolph would like to clear up that rumor. Rudolph says that Miley’s performance went exactly as she planned for it to happen. No word on whether or not she pulled a fast one on Robin Thicke or not, but Miley is entirely pleased with both the act and the ongoing reaction:
Cyrus, 20, had been working on the VMAs performance of her hit “We Can’t Stop” – along with her racy duet with Robin Thicke – for about a month before MTV’s big awards show on Sunday.
“Most it came from Miley’s brain,” Cyrus’s manager Larry Rudolph tells PEOPLE. “But she collaborated with [her music video director] Diane Martel, who helped her conceive it and bring in the spirit of the VMAs. And with Todd James who designed all of those amazing bears.”
Though her skimpy, flesh-colored outfit, her suggestive use of a foam finger and close contact with Thicke, 36, were panned on social media, not everyone is criticizing Cyrus’s jaw-dropping performance.
So what does Cyrus, whose new record will be released Oct 8., think about the world’s reaction? “She couldn’t have been happier about the performance,” says Rudolph.
“MTV and Miley knew exactly what they were doing,” adds a source close to Cyrus, whose team wasn’t alarmed by the performance. “No one is freaking out.”
In fact, “We were all cheering from the side of the stage,” Rudolph says of Cyrus’s inner circle, which included her mom Tish. “It could not have gone better. The fans all got it. The rest eventually will.”

Somehow, I am not surprised at all that Tish Cyrus was actively cheering at Miley’s onstage antics. Tish never criticizes Miley at all, and I can’t help but think she just doesn’t want to make any waves since Miley is the source of most of the family income.
Throughout all of this, a lingering question involves Liam Hemsworth’s thoughts regarding his girlfriend grinding her bum against Robin Thicke’s crotch. Hollywood Life claims to have an exclusive that Liam and Miley are still fighting like crazy, and Liam just can’t get why Miley is being so aggressively sexual in public. Oh, Liam. It’s Miley’s mouth, and she can say/do/twerk what she wants to.

You people had some very strong feelings about the idea of George Clooney and Sandra Bullock together. My feeling is still? it could be cool. Let?s not pretend that Sandy Bullock is some viriginal, delicate flower who will crumble if man-handled by Clooney?s brutish ways. Sandy is a fun, smart, sassy, accomplished, cool woman and I truly believe that most men who come into contact with her find her attractive, accessible and interesting. Why would Clooney be any different? And look at their body language! These are two people who enjoy each other?s company. Why not wish for them to have a raunchy weekend in Venice?
Obviously, these are photos from last night?s Venice Film Festival premiere of Gravity. Sandy and George walked the carpet together, arm in arm, sometimes hand-in-hand. There were whispers. There were genuine smiles. There was casual red carpet flirting. It also helped that Sandra looked really, really good. You know I don?t think much of Sandra?s style ? part of her appeal as ?the girl next door? is ?dressing like she has no idea what looks good on her?. Sandy wore this J. Mendel Resort 2014 gown which? is this a mullet gown? Or is this a wrap gown with a mullet feel? I can?t decide. Whoever dressed her for Venice is doing a great job. I hope Sandra keeps that person around.
And since I know some of you are into the shoes (side-eye at CB), they are Roger Vivier. Her clutch is Vivier too. The shoes sort of work with the gown. I approve.
PS? Clooney?s tuxedo looks really oversized, right? Did he recently lose a lot of weight or did he just get the wrong tux? Usually, the fit is PERFECT on Clooney?s clothes. Weird.

Sporting some new blonde bangs, Hayden Panettiere stopped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday (August 28).
The "Nashville" star wore a short, long-sleeved colorful dress with red heeled boots as she posed for pics before heading inside.
Recently, the 24-year-old actress nabbed an honor for her work to better the planet. On Monday, the Environmental Media Association announced that Hayden and Matt Damon would be celebrated at it's 23rd annual awards show this fall.
Honored for her potential and work with the oceanic conservation group the Whaleman Foundation, Ms. Panettiere will be accepting the Futures award.

Happily expanding their family to three, Jamie Lynn Sigler and her fiance Cutter Dykstra welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday (August 28).
Though many of the details of their new bundle of joy are still being kept under wraps, the "Sopranos" star's rep confirmed to Us Weekly, "Everyone is happy and healthy."
This is the first child for both Jamie-Lynn and her baseball playing future hubby, who have been engaged since January.
Back when Cutter popped the question, a source close to the pair dished, "Jamie couldn't be happier," adding, "Cutter is the perfect guy for her. Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine, as are their families and friends."

He may have been promoting his new thriller "Scenic Route," but Josh Duhamel had baby on the brain during his appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday (August 27).
Though pressed to reveal he and Fergie's name for the little boy, the 40-year-old actor was tight-lipped and stayed true to his promise, though noted that the name was "pretty normal."
Earlier, the proud papa-to-be asked his Facebook fans what the worst name would be, sharing, "The one that actually won, being a big Vikings fan, somebody suggested Aaron Rodgers Duhamel and that actually won the grand prize." (Rodgers is a quarterback for the Vikings rival team, the Green Bay Packers).
Later in the interview, Josh talked about helping their dog Zoe adjust to life with the impending bundle of joy, contacting the Dog Whisperer himself, Caesar Milan, to help. In awe of his skills, Mr. Duhamel says, "It's really kind of amazing the powers that this man has. I mean I was actually becoming a little submissive myself." Check out his full interview below.

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m not going to be happy until I run this Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMAs thing into the ground. Here’s a different angle of Miley attempting to twerk during her performance. It’s actually a pretty good example of how white girls dance. The fact that it’s not highly edited by MTV lets us revel in the absurdity of it all.
I wonder if at any point during her dance did she think to herself, “WTF am I doing?” Because if she did, she obviously replied with, “Shut up, dignity!,” and punched it in the balls.
