Julianne Hough is one of those celebs that are hot, but somewhat too tame for my taste. Sure she has a great body and is a good dancer, but she needs to smile less and get to some serious Little Tuna teasing. If she wants she can contact me for a step by step guide. []

| Jennifer Garner: 'It's a little bit sexist that you only want me to be the nice girl' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Garner participated in a women?s networking conference led by Marie Claire. Their story about it reveals that Garner?s baby food company, Once Upon a Child, just secured $20 million in funding, which seems high right? I must not understand business because $20 million seems like too much to sink into baby food, even one with a famous face. Garner did a panel interview where she discussed her new role on HBO?s Camping and how it plays against type for her. (Incidentally that show is getting very bad reviews with critics saying that it?s mediocre and the characters are unlikable.) She also talked about #MeToo. Remember her initial take on that? She said that ?We can?t assume every man is guilty. Due process is important.? That was after her brother-in-law was sued for sexual harassment and after a video came out of Ben sexually harassing Hilarie Burton. Well she tells Marie Claire that she is trying to work with other women as much as possible but that she?s afraid of not toeing the #metoo line. Honestly I was going to make that the title of this post but I figured it would be too controversial. It speaks to how she plays both sides. Anyway she had some interesting thoughts.
On her character in Camping being unlikable
?Do you think I can just do Miracles from Heaven forever? [Garner] started out talking about her new show, Camping, and the fact that shes playing a character some people might consider unlikeable for the first time. People had a visceral reaction to her turn as Katherine, an obsessively organized and aggressively controlling woman planning her husbands 45th birthday camping trip. To those people, Garner wants to question the status quo that lead people to think she can only be the nice girl: It?s a little bit sexist that you only want me to be the nice girl. I can be the bitch, too.
I was drawn to what a jerk Katherine is, everyone?s pain comes from somewhere and sometimes you have to look a little deeper to find where that pain comes from.
On #MeToo and how shes trying to keep up
The Alias star touched upon the culture in Hollywood in the post-#metoo era, too.Women are walking on eggshells. You want to take it for everything it?s worth and just surround yourself with the best possible women and make sure that you are fighting for and creating the most equality you can in every possible way you can. I feel very afraid of screwing up and not toeing the #metoo line.? But shes not talking about coming from a place of fear. Shes talking about amending your behaviors to hold yourself accountable. Any time there?s revolution and you feel like you?re being held to a new standard, you want to make sure you?re meeting the standard. I don?t want to let my sisters down.
On how Once Upon a Farm is personal to her
?As I was going through the process, I kept feeling like, ?who is helping the kids like the kids I grew up with, like the ones in West Virginia, who?s helping the kids like my mom who grew up poor in Oklahoma, who?s helping rural America?? And it crystalized for me over time and over having all of these meetings that I ultimately didn?t sign onto, and it made me realize that I?ve got to go with what I can speak about truly from the heart, which is poor rural America.?
[From Marie Claire]
We don?t always expect her to play the good girl, it?s like she is conveniently forgetting about Alias and then Peppermint. Still, it?s not like many people saw Peppermint. No one dragged her for signing on to that film despite its themes or for the fact that it tanked. Also, is it sexist that we see her a certain way, when she?s cultivated that image for years? Its good of her to make sure her business highlights childhood poverty and thats clearly an issue that she cares about deeply. Shes said in the past that her goal is to have the first organic W.I.C. option for babies in low income families.
Garners parked car was damaged yesterday, but it doesnt sound that serious. Paparazzi agency Backgrid had this caption with the photo below. Jennifer Garner is the first on the scene when her parked car gets hit by another car. The White Nissan that hit Jens Lexus was involved in an accident with another vehicle, and despite a narrow escape from being hit herself, a concerned Jen talks to the other people involved to make sure everyone is ok, before leaving her car and getting a ride home from a friend.

| Keira Knightley 'banned' Cinderella & The Little Mermaid in her house | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It really feels like Keira Knightley has gotten more feminist over the past few years especially. I think giving birth to a daughter made Keira want to get louder and angrier about the state of women?s rights in general. I like Nu Keira, honestly. She?s more interesting, even if she sometimes comes across as a bit judgy towards royal women. Anyway, Keira is promoting Colette and The Nutcracker (a Disney film, lol), so she appeared on The Ellen Show this week. Ellen and Keira ended up talking about what Disney movies are banned for feminist reasons in the Knightley-Righton household.
Keira Knightley is currently making the rounds to promote Walt Disney Pictures upcoming movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (in theaters Nov. 2). But as the 33-year-old actress confessed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, shes not a fan of every movie the studio has produced, particularly when it involves Disney Princesses who dont uphold her feminist values.
As a result, the actress has forbidden her 3-year-old daughter, Edie Knightley Righton, from watching certain movies. Cinderella, released in 1950, is banned, Knightley said, because she waits around for a rich guy to rescue her. Dont! Rescue yourself. Obviously! And this is the one that Im quite annoyed about because I really like the film, but Little Mermaid [is banned, too]. I mean, the songs are great, but do not give your voice up for a man. Hello! But the problem with The Little Mermaid is I love The Little Mermaid! That ones a little tricky?but Im keeping to it.
Not all Disney movies are off-limits. Finding Dory is a big favorite in our house, Knightley told Ellen DeGeneres, who voiced the forgetful blue tang. Frozen is huge and Moana is totally fine?. ?
Presumably, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is totally fine. Knightley stars in the movie as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and with her cotton candy hair, I look a bit like a psychotic cake, dont I? To get into character, Knightley was covered head-to-toe in glitter. We shot it almost two years ago and I think Ive still got glitter in my house. Its impossible to get off. Its a disaster, and I was covered in it for about four months while we were making the film, she said. Its a disaster. It is very definitely now in my contract that I wont work with glitter. Absolutely not!
[From E! News]
Eh. I?m from the generation which was ?too old? to watch the revitalized Disney studio?s big push in the ?90s, yet too young for the classics like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. I mean, I still watched the ?classic Disney? films, and Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite. Cinderella too. I always hated Snow White though? I mean, those films were of their time and of course the ?message? of those stories was always screwed up. But? I don?t know, do you think that sometimes gasp feminist moms take it too far? Cinderella is a classic! As for The Little Mermaid? yeah, again, it?s problematic. But it?s another classic. I feel like Keira?s worried that if she ever did show those ?problematic? films to her daughter, Edie would just want to watch them constantly and it?s more about Keira?s annoyance than anything else.

| Kim Kardashian apologized for her pro-ana comments: 'It was insensitive' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Kim Kardashian has been on a serious weight loss kick all year. She?s dropped a significant amount of weight by her own account, she?s lost 20 pounds this year, and she?s done it by cutting back on sugar and changing up her workouts and lifting more heavy weights. I?ve said before that? I actually think Kim?s weight loss doesn?t look that great on her. So many times, women reach their ?goal weight? and they end up looking deflated and unhappy. That?s Kim in my opinion, she looks better when her face is a bit fuller and softer.
Anyway, I?m in the minority on that one. Everyone praises Kim for losing so much weight this year. Over the summer, Kim posted some Snapchats where her sisters were ?complimenting? her by telling her she looked ?anorexic.? She was so happy with that ?compliment.? Several people were like ?slow your roll, that?s not a compliment, stop pushing pro-ana bullst.? Well, months later, Kim is finally admitting that she was wrong. She was being interviewed on the Pretty Big Deal with Ashley Graham podcast and Graham brought up the pro-ana crap. This is what Kim said:
I honestly, looking back in having said that, I 100 percent completely understand where people would be coming from that felt that way. So my intention is never to offend anyone and I really, you know, apologize if I offended anyone, because an eating disorder is- I know people that have serious eating disorders that have been in and out of the hospital for 15 years?close people. So Ive like, been through- I have experienced it enough to have, like, known better.
You know, sometimes when youre- you know I was, like, with my sisters and we were laughing and joking and its loud and you are- you know, I dunno, I guess, sometimes you can get, like, carried away and just, it was insensitive, you know, and it definitely wasnt my intention though. And I think, especially my fans and everyone that was watching was supportive, like, OK, look, like, maybe you guys shouldnt have said that but I know what you were saying.
Kim said she had at that point spent a year working out six days a week with a bodybuilder.
I lost 20 pounds and it hasnt been easy. My mom even, maybe a month ago, pulled me aside in the bathroom at a meeting once and was like, I need to talk to you, and I was like, Oh my God, what? And she pulls me aside and was like, What are you doing? Shes like, What is going on? Like, How are you losing this weight? Are you OK? Kim said. You know, and I was like, Oh my God, like this is so crazy! Like, dont you see me working out like every single day? I changed how I eat, I work out.
[From E! News]
There were several problems all at once with the Snapchats that went viral, and I actually understand what Kim is saying about how she was just joking around with her sisters. But the second she put that sh-t on Snapchat, it was for public consumption and yes, she should have known better. It?s fine if people or regular celebrities/reality stars make inappropriate jokes around friends and family. I?ve made ?bad/inappropriate? jokes amongst friends and family too, jokes that rightly result in people calling me out for tons of terrible things. But I try not to put that crap out there for public consumption. Kim really was putting herself out there like she was bragging publicly about being anorexic. And she does know better. While her apology doesn?t really change anything, I?m glad she at least realizes that she was wrong.

| Tara Reid removed from flight for pitching a fit over not getting a pillow | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
I usually get excited about Tara Reid this time of year because it means I get to write about whatever her latest Halloween ?costume? is. Unfortunately, my first Tara post of the season is not one I want to write. It seems as though Tara has been up to some of her less desirable behavior, this time causing enough of a disturbance on a flight to be removed from the plane. According to TMZ, Tara was on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York City when she became belligerent over not being given a pillow after finding out shed not been assigned the window seat as shed expected. The crew tried to appease her but things escalated to the point that the pilot returned to the gate and Tara and her dog were asked to leave.
Tara Reid was removed from a Delta flight on Monday following a ?disturbance? onboard.
The actress was seen being asked to leave by a flight attendant in a video obtained by TMZ. Reid, 42, could be seen wearing a black coat, a red beanie and carrying her dog in one arm.
A rep for the actress did not have a comment.
Delta spokesman Ashton Kang told PEOPLE in a statement Delta Flight 613 from Los Angeles to New York City ?returned to the gate, prior to takeoff, due to a customer disturbance on board.?
?Delta apologizes to the remaining customers for the inconvenience and appreciates their patience as the situation was resolved,? Kang said. ?The flight re-departed for New York following a short delay.?
[From People]
The TMZ video mentioned only shows Tara complying with crew instructions and leaving the flight. She looks pissed, yes, but not any more than any of us would be. So I can?t say for sure how heated it got. I do know that pilots are loathe to turn a flight around on the tarmac so her behavior must have warranted it. Most of us hate to be on a flight with a toddler having a tantrum, let alone an adult having one. According to TMZ, Tara also complained about the woman in front of her reclining her seat. The report is that Tara, ?flew into a rage,? so my guess is that when she involved another passenger, thats when she was told to leave. However, no police were involved and Tara caught a later flight, presumably without incident. Shes issued a statement claiming the issue was because they wouldnt let her dog sit next to her.
Its not cool to disrupt anyone?s day in such a way, especially not a plane full of people. But this is getting even more attention because it comes on the heels of a bizarre interview Tara gave for an Australian talk show to promote The Last Sharknado *pours one out for the Sharknado franchise*. The interview was impeded by a time delay that has Tara talking over the hosts? questions. However, she also slurs her answers and rambles, repeating a few phrases over and over, seemingly losing track of her thoughts. In her statement on the incident, she didn?t deny any speculation, just thanked her fans for standing by her and said she was, ?in great spirits and health.? I hope so. I hope someone is looking out for her and not just because Halloween party season is upon us.
