Lindsay Lohan spent more time in America in 2019 than most people realize. We had gotten used to Lindsay being away, in Europe, Russia and the Middle East, for years now. I have my theories about what she was doing overseas and how she was supporting herself, but the official story is that she was opening a nightclub in Greece, or just living a quiet life in Dubai. Or something. But now America?s cracked-out sweetheart is ready to return home permanently:
Lindsay Lohan has plans to kick off this decade with a return to America, the big screen and music. The 33-year-old actress, who is currently in Muscat, Oman, joined Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper for a satellite interview on New Year?s Eve Tuesday and dished about what she?s got planned for movies and music in the coming year.
When asked if she has any resolutions for 2020, Lohan said, ?Yes, I do. I?m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I?m doing something soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I?ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys.?
Lohan is slated to star in Among The Shadows, which hits theaters on March 5, 2020. The film marks Lohan?s first role in a feature film since 2013?s The Canyons, though she currently has plenty of experience on the small screen. In addition to her short-lived reality television show, Lindsay Lohan?s Beach Club, the actress also judges the Masked Singer in Australia.

If Lindsay was just some wayward actress who burned out, left the industry for five years and came back looking for work, I would think that it was a good PR play and smart branding. See: Renee Zellweger. But that?s not really the case here. Lindsay left America after years of legal and criminal issues, rehab, probation, brief stints in jail and open drug and alcohol abuse. Then there?s the small matter of whatever the hell she?s been doing for five years. So no, I don?t think the entertainment industry is going to welcome Lindsay back with open arms. Maybe the tabloids will welcome her back though. As for ?I?m managing my sister?? Oh God, poor Ali.

Before Christmas, there were several stories in various outlets about how Brad Pitt was going to spend his birthday and Christmas with three of his six children. Zahara is now 14 years old, and so it seems like she?s old enough to decide her custody/visitation for herself. And Zahara has opted out of spending time with Brad Pitt, just like Maddox and Pax have opted out. Now Brad only gets to see the three youngest Jolie-Pitt kids, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. My guess is that even though Angelina has been filming The Eternals in England for several months, she still had to come ?home? to LA so that she could fulfill the visitation requirements and all of that. And maybe she wanted to spend Christmas in LA. But she definitely didn?t want to spend New Year?s Eve in LA. Days after Christmas, Angelina took her four youngest kids to Ethiopia. I guess Brad didn?t get to see them after Christmas huh? Incidentally, there are some exclusive pics of Brad leaving Puerto Vallarta (a vacation spot in Mexico) on NYE, so it looks like he jetted out of LA after Christmas too. As for Angelina?s Ethiopia trip, she and Shiloh and Zahara met Ethiopia?s president:
Angelina Jolie is returning to a place close to her heart. The actress, 44, visited Ethiopia with four of her kids ? Shiloh, 13, and Zahara, 14, who was born in the African country, as well as 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The family will stay in the region for New Year?s Eve.
While there, Jolie brought Shiloh and Zahara to meet with Sahle-Work Zewde, the president of Ethiopia and the first woman to hold the office. It was a special treat for Zahara, who turns 15 on Jan. 8. Their talks covered education, sanitary pad solutions to help girls continue their schooling (girls often stay home from class while menstruating due to lack of supplies), and Ethiopian culture and history. The group also discussed Jolie?s ongoing efforts to treat drug-resistant tuberculosis.
The actress and activist has funded efforts for over a decade through the Zahara Program, named after her daughter. The Jolie Pitt Foundation partnered with the Global Health Committee and the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health in 2009 to create an initiative to treat drug-resistant TB. Their work has led to continuing success in treating people with TB in the region.

That?s cool that she brought the younger kids to Ethiopia and that Shiloh and Zahara got to meet the president. As you can see in the photos below, Zahara seemed to get dressed up in an appropriate ensemble, while? Shiloh wore jeans and a windbreaker? I?m all for Let Shiloh Be Shiloh, but no Angelina should have asked Shiloh to put on a better outfit. Shi looks like she?s about to hang out at the skate park. That?s my only complaint! The rest of this is very cool.

As we discussed earlier this week, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber seem very concerned about their daughter Kaia?s relationship with Pete Davidson. Kaia Gerber has her own apartment in New York, and it seems like Pete stays there a lot. Maybe Kaia called her parents, or maybe they stopped by unannounced, but whatever happened, Cindy and Rande were seen outside Kaia?s apartment building looking very worried and they were overheard saying something about how Pete seems to be having a breakdown, something about how he was clawing at his eyes. Soon after like a day later? Cindy and Rande flew to LA with Kaia, and Pete apparently stayed in New York. Kaia is only 18 old enough to live on her own, but still young enough where she absolutely needs her parents? help on a lot of things. And it looks like her parents are providing that help:
There seems to be trouble in paradise for Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson. Its been just weeks since the pair started dating and there already seems to be drama brewing for the famous celebs. According to a source close to her mom, Cindy Crawford, Its been a very stressful and concerning few days.
Its unclear what issues, if any, are occurring in the young couples relationship, but the source reveals that Cindy and Rande are taking on an active role in this situation. Cindy and Rande wanted to be there for Kaia and supportive of her. They are very involved and loving parents and they would do anything for her, the source explains. They stepped in to try and guide her and to help Pete through a difficult time.
Moreover, the source hints that the model family is trying to be a support system for Pete since they see how troubled he is and how much he is struggling. The insider adds, They tried to intervene and offer what they could. Its been upsetting for Kaia and for them to see their daughter dealing with something so serious.
Since last weeks debacle, Kaia and her mom have returned to sunny Los Angeles, while Pete remains in the Big Apple for work. Nonetheless, the source reveals Cindy and Rande are going to continue to support Kaia, especially since they know they cant choose who their daughter dates or control the situation.
Their only choice is to support her and help guide her through this, the source shares. They are just thinking about Pete getting better and nothing beyond that.

The common ?parenting teenagers? wisdom is that if you, the parent, throw a fit and tell your teenager to break up with someone, your teenager will do the opposite. I get that, and most youths are garbage contrarians and they want to buck the system, even if the system is just mom and dad. That being said, Kaia has always seemed? super-attached to her folks. I wonder if the solution here is Rande and Cindy really sitting her down and saying ?this is too much for you, honey. You?re not responsible for taking care of him and you need to know that.? Also: while I think Kaia spent Christmas in LA with her folks, away from Pete, now Cindy and Rande are in Miami and I worry that Kaia is back in NYC with Pete?
