| Scarlett Johansson in Rodarte at the TIFF 'Jojo Rabbit' premiere: cute or blah' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Scarlett Johansson at Sunday night?s TIFF premiere of JoJo Rabbit, the Taika Waititi film which is supposed to be an absurdist/parody of Adolf Hitler (Taika plays a child?s imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler). ScarJo wore this silver Rodarte dress to the premiere. I have to say? the fashion, in general, coming out of TIFF has been underwhelming. Maybe celebrities are saving ?the good stuff? for New York and London premieres, or maybe the designers are just in a rut. I generally find Rodarte stuff to be too overworked, and this is no different this material would have been lovely as a simple slipdress. But no.
Anyway, ScarJo is obviously in TIFF to promote more than JoJo Rabbit. JoJo Rabbit won?t get her an Oscar nomination. She?ll also premiere Marriage Story, which is already being screened by critics and they friggin? love it. We could truly see a 2020 Oscars where Scarlett Johansson is nominated for Best Actress and Jennifer Lopez is nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
It?s also worth noting that ScarJo will probably get nominated across the board even though she?s an ahole who says terrible things constantly, especially when she?s promoting a film. She?s literally going to get an Oscar nomination when, in two big interviews this summer, she claimed she should be ?allowed to play any person or any tree or any animal.? And then she followed that up by once again giving a full-throated defense of Woody Allen. Speaking of, Dylan Farrow chimed in on ScarJo?s THR interview:
Because if we?ve learned anything from the past two years it?s that you definitely should believe male predators who ?maintain their innocence? without question. Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion. https://t.co/S1NmttL9tJ

| Heidi Klum's husband got her a piece of the Berlin Wall, which fell the year he was born | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Heidi Klum and her new husband, Tom Kaulitz, made their red carpet debut as a married couple late last week in New York at a Harpers Bazaar event called ICONS By Carine Roitfeld. Heidi was wearing a giant one-shoulder red-orange dress by Stephane Rolland. The high leg slit was ridiculous on a dress with that much draping and fabric but thats her style and shes worn much worse. Heidi and rocker Tom look like a mishmatch fashion-wise, but they seem quite suited for each other. They had that big wedding in Capri last month, Tom is willing to go swimming illegally with Heidi for the gram, and theyre both German. Heidi has said that means that theyre quite punctual, which is a trait I appreciate in a significant other too. Tom recently gave Heidi a gift celebrating their shared heritage. He had a piece of the Berlin Wall installed in their Garden. Tom is from East Germany. He was born a month before the wall fell. Heidi would have been 18 at the time.
This is the post Heidi made about it with the video of the wall being lifted into their garden. Ive included the caption below.

| Felicity Huffman will only get one month in prison (at most) for SAT bribery/scam | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Felicity Huffman has better lawyers than Lori Loughlin. It probably helps that Felicity understood the gravity of the FBI arresting her at dawn on federal charges in the college-admissions scam. Felicity was one of many parents who paid Rick Singer to cheat. Felicity wanted her daughters? SAT scores to be faked somehow. So Felicity was caught and she was looking at years in prison. She was offered a deal. She took it immediately, with her lawyers? advice. She confessed, pleaded guilty and publicly apologized. And now it looks like the most prison time she would have to do is? ONE MONTH?
Felicity Huffmans about to dodge a huge bullet in the college admissions bribery scandal that is, if the judge follows federal prosecutors recommendation. The U.S. Attorney filed docs Friday saying the actress should do one month in federal prison and pay $20,000 in fines. Thats a great deal for Felicity because, back in May, prosecutors were recommending she do somewhere between 4 to 10 months in prison.
As for why the feds softened, prosecutors say in docs, Some period of incarceration is the only meaningful sanction for these crimes. Not because the defendants relative wealth has generated public resentment, but because jail is a particularly meaningful response to this kind of offense. For wrongdoing that is predicated on wealth and rationalized by a sense of privilege, incarceration is the only leveler: in prison everyone is treated the same, dressed the same, and intermingle regardless of affluence, position or fame. Translation: the government wants to scare the rich, privileged and celebs so they know misdeeds will result in them going to prison even for a little while.
Its interesting although the sentencing recommendation is light, the prosecutors language is tough Huffmans conduct was deliberate and manifestly criminal: it was wrong, she knew it was wrong, and she actively participated in manipulating her daughters guidance counselor, the testing services and the schools to which her daughter applied. The prosecutor goes on Her efforts werent driven by need or desperation, by a sense of entitlement, or at least moral cluelessness, facilitated by wealth and insularity. Millions of parents send their kids to college every year. All of them care as much as she does about the childrens fortunes. But they dont buy fake SAT scores and joke about (Ruh ro!) along the way.
The Ruh ro references an email submitted as evidence which Felicity had sent to Rick Singer, the bribery ringleader, when she found out the high school was using its own proctor instead of the one who was supposed to rig the testing.
Felicity did have 27 people submit letters of support including her husband William H. Macy and former costar Eva Longoria. Felicitys attorney submitted their own docs, recommending she get 1 year of probation, 250 hours community service and the $20k fine. According to the docs, prison isnt necessary to deter others because Felicitys already suffering in several ways: she cant get an audition or offer for roles, her daughter Sophia cant get auditions at performing arts colleges even ones where SATs arent required, and both of her daughters are deeply angry at her. Our U.S. Attorney sources say one of the reasons prosecutors softened their recommendation is because the probation department was recommending as little as NO prison time.
[From TMZ]
Yeah, the federal prosecutors were like ?we?re going to make an example out of all of these rich douches? and then everyone else was like ?but these are white people committing white collar crimes and maybe some of these cases were a waste of resources?? I don?t know. I bet Felicity gets, like, a mostly symbolic 48 hours in prison or something.
In addition to submitting letters of support to the court, Felicity also submitted her own letter to the court, explaining how and why she committed the crimes you can read the piece here. She admits that there is ?no justification for what I have done,? but still goes on and on about how her daughters have ?serious learning disabilities? and she wanted her daughters to have good SAT scores so they could at least have some choices when it came to acting programs or theater programs. Iwell, I?m not sure I believe that. But whatever, Felicity is fully apologizing and admitting everything.

| Jennifer Lopez in Maison Yeya at the TIFF 'Hustlers' premiere: Big Bird or chic' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from this weekend?s TIFF premiere of Hustlers. This is not the first ?premiere,? I don?t think? There was some kind of lowkey premiere event last week or the week before, it was in New York and it was basically the start of the promotional tour. I also just recently learned that there is a mood among critics that Jennifer Lopez should be and perhaps will be nominated for an Oscar in Best Supporting Actress for Hustlers. Which would be amazing, honestly. The point is that we?ll probably be talking about Hustlers for months.
For this TIFF premiere, Jennifer understandably went all-out. She wore a canary yellow Maison Yeya gown which would make most women look like Deconstructed Big Bird. But on J.Lo, the dress looks amazing. And yes, Alex Rodriguez was there to support her.
Constance Wu in Georges Hobeika. This looks super-cheap, right? Am I just imagining that because I?m over her?
Lili Reinhart wore Rodarte. Those shoulder flowers are? something. She?s beautiful, but the dress is A LOT.

| Kristen Stewart is 'very, very happy' that Robert Pattinson was cast as Batman | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The Toronto International Film Festival began this weekend with some big, splashy premieres and some big-name celebrities. It?s that time of year. And much like this year?s Venice Film Festival, TIFF is definitely trying to create some big moments and discussions (Cannes is shook). On opening night, TIFF created some old-school Twihard drama Kristen Stewart did the carpet for the premiere of Seberg, and Robert Pattinson did the carpet for the premiere of The Lighthouse. This is not the first time, post-Robsten-split, that Rob and Kristen have been at the same film festival. But it?s probably the first time that their separate films premiered on the same night.
Kristen wore this Chanel suit to her premiere. The suit is? kind of cool. I love the houndstooth trousers, quite honestly. The cropped jacket isn?t my jam, but it looks good on Kristen and it suits her. Styling-wise? Kristen has always had a face which can ?take? a strong makeup look, and she did heavy raccoon eyes and light lipstick. It?s okay. The hair kind of bugs me though.
Interestingly enough, on the Seberg carpet, Kristen was *gulp* asked about Rob and how he was cast as Batman. You know what? Kristen could not have been classier. She said, in part, ?I feel like he?s the only guy who could play that part. I am so happy for him, it is crazy. I also, it feels like, I don?t know, I?m very, very happy about that. I heard that and was like, ?Oh man!? Yeah, it?s awesome.? It?s been six or seven years since they broke up. I?m glad she said supportive words about it.
