Guys and gigs come and go, but Amanda Seyfried has one constant companion she takes everywhere- her dog Finn.
On Monday (July 7) the ?Lovelace? lady posted a photo of her paddleboarding with the prized pooch, and they couldn?t have looked happier.
Seyfried captioned the shot, "It was surprising, at first, that Finn was so eager to jump aboard. Now, I can't enjoy paddling without him. The same can be said of my life. #finnsite #drfoz."
And it turns out Amanda?s boyfriend Justin Long is also an avid paddleboarder. She previously told Ellen DeGeneres, "What we did every night?my boyfriend, myself and our two friends?we would paddleboard to watch the sunset, and one night we were paddleboarding with some dolphins. But I thought it was a shark and I was like, 'Wait, check the fin!' And then my boyfriend's like, 'I see the blow hole!'"

| Has Eva Mendes been 'in hiding' because she & Ryan Gosling are expecting' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I’m sorry I didn’t get to this sooner but I didn’t believe the first reports and I thought it could wait until tomorrow. Not so much. First, let me say this: Eva Mendes has been relatively quiet this year. I mean, she?s done some stuff, months ago, but the tri-weekly pap shots have stopped and we haven?t seen Eva and Ryan Gosling together in a while. People Mag even idly wondered back in May if they had already broken up or were close to breaking up. Ryan promoted Lost River in Cannes without Eva, which was weird because she?s actually IN the movie. So, I was expecting more breakup rumors. Instead we get lots of pregnancy rumors
Women of the world who dream of having Ryan Gosling?s baby: Eva Mendes has beat you to the punch! Star can reveal that the Hitch actress confirmed the news to friends that she?s seven months pregnant with her boyfriend?s child.
Despite recent rumors of a breakup, things are going better than ever for the couple of three years. In fact, thanks to the baby news, the relationship has found a new sense of direction, with Eva finally secure in Ryan?s commitment ? and even talking marriage!
Throughout her pregnancy, the 40-year-old has been in hiding at her home?but she?s not alone. ?Ryan has been by Eva?s side night and day since she found out the happy news,? the insider says. ?He?s so amazingly considerate and thoughtful, always taking care of Eva. It?s like he?s already a doting daddy! No one would be surprised if they got married before the baby is even born.?
[From Star Magazine]
I was going to make a big deal about how OK Magazine was the first to report this and how OK is never right… but then Us Weekly “confirmed” it. According to Us Weekly, “An insider confirmed the news after rumors surfaced earlier on Wednesday, July 9, that the Hitch actress is seven months pregnant.” Ah, so that is why Eva has gone so far underground lately, it?s because she?s hiding a bump. SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT. Damn. Way to keep a secret, y’all.

| Us Weekly: Kendra Wilkinson is getting moral support from her ex, Hugh Hefner | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
I continue to feel a wave of sympathy for Kendra Wilkinson. Just a few weeks after she gave birth to her second child, a baby girl, with husband Hank Baskett, Kendra learned that Hank had been fooling around on her while she was pregnant. Hank had apparently been paying for some kind of physical affair with a trans model (who is now selling her story all over the place). Kendra?s camp is leaking to various media outlets, mostly Us Weekly. Last week, Us Weekly had stories about Kendra flushing her ring down the toilet and punching walls she was so angry. And now Us Weekly put Kendra?s struggles on this week?s cover.
Kendra Wilkinson may not be the Girl Next Door anymore, but she’ll always have a friend in ex-love Hugh Hefner. As revealed exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly, the Playboy mogul has reached out to offer his support to Wilkinson, 29, amid the recent drama with her husband, Hank Baskett.
Hefner, 88, has phoned the San Diego native several times since news of Baskett’s alleged affair with transgender model Ava Sabrina London broke in June, a source tells Us.
“He told her to come to the Playboy Mansion any time,” the insider says of the businessman, who dated Wilkinson for four years until 2008. “He’s been supportive and hates that Kendra is going through this.”
“This,” of course, refers to the model’s marital strife with Baskett in the wake of reports that the former NFL pro, 31, cheated on his wife of four years while she was eight months pregnant with their second child, daughter Alijah, 7 weeks. (The couple also have a 4-year-old son, Hank IV.)
Though she initially laughed off the allegations, Wilkinson grew suspicious when Baskett didn’t rush to publicly clear his name. An odd charge on his bank statement fanned her fears of infidelity. She’s “still in shock,” a source previously told Us.
For much more on Kendra’s heartbreak — including how the scandal has affected her relationship with mother, and whether the drama will be covered on her show, Kendra on Top — pick up the new issue of Us Weekly.
[From Us Weekly]
This is what bugs me: ?and whether the drama will be covered on her show, Kendra on Top?? UGH. I mean, chica?s got to make a living and I know a lot of people actually liked Kendra?s other reality shows (I?m guilty of watching The Girls Next Door back in the day, although my favorite was Holly). But this does feel like a scandal tailor-made for reality television. Now I don?t know which way to go ? should I hope that this scandal is just a plot line on the reality show (if so, that?s gross) or should I hope that Hank really cheated on Kendra and she?s truly devastated and simply making lemonade with life?s lemons? Ugh.

| George Clooney bashes The Daily Mail's Druze article in a new open letter | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
On Monday, The Daily Mail published a lengthy article in which they claimed Amal Alamuddin?s mother didn?t care for George Clooney because she wanted her daughter to marry someone from their Druze faith. The Mail claimed that Amal?s mom believes in insular Druze-only marriages and child-rearing and that since there?s no conversion method for Druze, George could never be worthy. I covered the story yesterday, as did many other blogs and outlets this week. And now George Clooney claims that the entire article is fabricated and that his would-be mother-in-law is not Druze:
I want to speak to the irresponsibility of Monday’s Daily Mail report. I seldom respond to tabloids, unless it involves someone else and their safety or well being. The Daily Mail has printed a completely fabricated story about my fiance’s mother opposing our marriage for religious reasons. It says Amal’s mother has been telling “half of Beirut” that she’s against the wedding. It says they joke about traditions in the Druze religion that end up with the death of the bride.
Let me repeat that: the death of the bride.
First of all, none of the story is factually true. Amal’s mother is not Druze. She has not been to Beirut since Amal and I have been dating, and she is in no way against the marriage ? but none of that is the issue. I’m, of course, used to the Daily Mail making up stories ? they do it several times a week ? and I don’t care. If they fabricate stories of Amal being pregnant, or that the marriage will take place on the set of Downton Abbey, or that I’m running for office, or any number of idiotic stories that they sit at their computers and invent, I don’t care.
But this lie involves larger issues. The irresponsibility, in this day and age, to exploit religious differences where none exist, is at the very least negligent and more appropriately dangerous. We have family members all over the world, and the idea that someone would inflame any part of that world for the sole reason of selling papers should be criminal.
I’m the son of a newsman; I accept the idea that freedom of speech can be an inconvenience to my private life from time to time, but this story, like so many others, is picked up by hundreds of other outlets citing the Daily Mail as their source, including Boston.com, New York Daily News, Gulf News, Emirates 24/7 and so on.
The Daily Mail, more than any other organization that calls itself news, has proved time and time again that facts make no difference in the articles they make up. And when they put my family and my friends in harm’s way, they cross far beyond just a laughable tabloid and into the arena of inciting violence. They must be so very proud.
[From USA Today]
Okay. I think George has every right to be angry and he has every right to correct the record and call out The Daily Mail for making up stories. So, this is completely justified. Full-stop.
If I wanted to parse – and I’ve gone back and forth on this – I could. Easily. I could find an angle, because while I think George is completely justified in writing what he wrote, I think this statement is a tinder box full of religious and freedom of speech controversies. But so was the original DM article that started everything, so blah. Let George’s words speak for themselves.

| Jessica Simpson's wedding pics cover People Mag: adorable or annoying' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|

|
|
|
We?ve been inundated with details from Jessica Simpson?s weekend wedding, and no surprise, she got this week?s People Magazine cover. People bought her exclusive wedding photos, God knows for how much. My guess? Somewhere in the $300,000 area. And for that price, People got the photos and an exclusive interview. How old-school. Also: thoughts on the dress, now that we?re getting a better look at it? It?s pretty, but it doesn?t seem very wedding-y to me. It?s more of an Oscar dress.
For their romantic July 5 nuptials, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson focused on one thing.
“It’s all about family for us,” Simpson tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story, in which the newlyweds talk about their favorite wedding memories for the first time ? and share 27 exclusive photos.
So for the big day, the bride asked her mom, Tina, and her sister, Ashlee, to be her maids of honor. Johnson’s father, Stephen, stepped in as best man, while Ashlee’s fianc, Evan Ross, was one of 11 groomsmen. (Simpson had 12 bridesmaids!)
Plus, the pair exchanged traditional vows during a nondenominational ceremony officiated by Simpson’s dad, Joe. But it was their kids ? 2-year-old flower girl Maxwell and 1-year-old ring bearer Ace ? who stole the show.
“Before I walked out, I kept hearing all the applause, so my kids got standing ovations!” says the proud mom, 33.
By the time Simpson made her entrance, however, a hush fell over the 275 guests gathered at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, and there were audible gasps as people caught a glimpse of the bride in her stunning Carolina Herrera wedding gown.
“I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying,” says Johnson, 34, who wore a custom charcoal gray John Varvatos tuxedo. “I think my heart was exploding a little bit.”
Simpson felt the same way throughout her wedding day: “It’s so surreal. This has been something we’ve wanted ever since we met.”
[From People]
That?s cute about the kids. I?ve read that Ashlee?s son was also part of the wedding party, like he walked with Maxi or something. My least favorite part about this whole thing? That Eric didn’t shave his scruffy beard. It looks gross to me. And you know I love a good beard!
Additional Jessica stories? Us Weekly says that Jessica ?did a vegan diet for about two weeks leading up to the wedding? so she could fit into the dress. She also ?got quite a few B12 shots? and had ?sugar dermabrasion on her face.? We?re a long way from Texas, aren?t we? Meanwhile, Page Six tried to tally up the costs of the wedding and the pre-wedding BBQ, all of which easily came in around $2 million it sounds like. As far as celebrity weddings go, I think Jessica?s wedding was probably pretty nice and not all that uptight. Like, I would have loved to be a guest at Jessica?s wedding just for the food alone.

| Mark Wahlberg: 'I haven't looked in a mirror in 10 years, I?ve got nothing to prove' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Go ahead and call me an idiot, but I got super-confused with the way GQ UK released their July cover story with Mark Wahlberg. I think they released the cover image more than a month ago, but they only got around to releasing some quotes from the piece (they actually put the full article online two days ago) this week. It?s weird. But we?ve never covered this stuff, although some of the quotes about Mark?s daughters sound similar to his recent People Mag interview. You can read the full GQ UK piece here, and here are some highlights:
Playing a father of teenage daughter in Transformers: “If Hollywood had its way, normally [in a movie like this] Nicola would play my girlfriend. But I wanted to embrace the idea of playing older, of playing” – he hesitates a moment – “what will be my reality in the very near future.”
His first daughter: “When I first found out we were having a girl, it was a little kick in the stomach. My mother was like, ‘That’s what you get!’ But it’s really been the greatest thing ever, because I have a wonderful relationship with [my daughter], that’s helped me in my other relationships and in my relationships with women in general.”
He?s more protective of his daughters: “My wife is very particular about what the kids can watch. I have a bit of a double standard. My boys, they want to watch everything, but I’m very protective of my girls.”
Preparation for the role: “Everyone’s different. I know some actors have their whole routine where they don’t want anybody around them [on the set], or they need to play music or whatever, but the James Cagney philosophy always made more sense to me. Prepare for the part. Be the part. And with no great effort, play the part.?
Why he turned into a great producer: “I got tired of waiting for the right project to drop on to my desk. If I don’t do it, nobody else is going to do it, and if I don’t tell everybody how to do it, it’s not going to be done the right way. I’ve got people where positive encouragement is going to get the best results and other people where I have to threaten to crack their head open.”
Aging: “Look, I’m 42 years old, I haven’t looked in a mirror in ten years. I don’t give a f*** how I look. If I have to prepare for a part physically, I will, but I’ve got nothing to prove. I’m not trying to impress anybody.”
[From GQ UK]
I shuddered a little bit at ?where I have to threaten to crack their head open.? This is the same guy who beat a man so badly that the man went blind in one eye. I have no doubt that Mark still has that kind of violence inside of him, but I guess we should also give him credit for transforming his life into something other than violent thuggery. But still? there are reminders and it feels like Mark makes enough people enough money that no one wants to bring up his past.
I also have to give Mark some credit for not whining about his movie star lifestyle. He never complains. I appreciate that and it?s worth noting because most of them DO complain.

| Zoe Saldana's advice to actresses: 'Don't hike up your skirt,' 'read a book' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Zoe Saldana covers the August issue of Fashion magazine to promote her role in Guardians of the Galaxy. She’s wearing a Julien Macdonald dress on the cover, and the rest of the shoot features slinky cocktail attire. I’m sad that Zoe never mentions her favorite topic, jar opening, in this interview. She does talk about how she finally found the right man in Marco Perego. Marco and Zoe happened pretty fast. They married five months after they started dating, and they first hooked up a few months after Zoe and Bradley Cooper quit it for good. Zoe and BCoop were together for about a year (on and off). Before that, Zoe was with Keith Britton for a decade. Even allowing for some sketchy math, Zoe has rarely been single, but she plays it off like she was super single when Marco came along:
Her view of competition in Hollywood: “I was a ferocious dancer so therefore I was a ferocious up-and-coming actress. When it comes to auditions, I?m not competitive with anybody. I don?t even know who?s sitting next to me. I wouldn’t even tell you if it was a blonde or brunette. The moment you compare yourself, it weakens you.”
On her quickie marriage to Marco Perago: “I was finally able to spend time without being in a relationship and even though, it was a short period of time, it was beautiful. Where I lost that fear of being alone. It was bliss. Then I met my partner when I was in really a beautiful place in my life. It was like I found all my answers with him not in him. I was finding my answers on my own.”
On the next Avatar movie: “[Neytiri] is stronger than what I wanted this time, but she?s also very vulnerable. It?s very much her journey and I accepted the job again because I believe the script has her going in the right path. Jake and Neytiri are very much still a force to be reckoned with.”
Her advice for women: “It?s important to not have women be afraid of you, to accept your mortality and your aging so that you can be a better mentor for up and coming women. Whenever these young women come and they just want to take everything all at once, just because they?re younger and their asses are harder and plumper, you kind of go, ”Child, sit down. Yes, you?re beautiful but listen to these 1, 2, 3s.? 1. Don?t hike up your skirt too much. 2. I?m pretty sure you?re intelligent so act like it. 3. Read a book.”
[From Fashion]
At least Zoe admits she was only single for a short period of time. I guess when the right one comes along, a girl just knows it. Zoe is probably pregnant with Marco’s baby too. That will make her upcoming press tour pretty eventful, right? Her maternity style should be interesting.
There’s not much else to grab onto in this interview except for Zoe’s discussion on how actresses shouldn’t hike up their clothing for attention. She has a point.

| Pamela Anderson & Rick Salomon are getting divorced again, of course | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
I never paid attention to Rick Salomon long enough to form much of an opinion of him. He?s the guy in Paris Hilton?s sex tape, the sex tape that made her famous. He also married Shannon Doherty at some point back in the early aughts. He married Pamela Anderson back in 2007, but they had it annulled after a few months. Then they went back for more at some point last year I guess, and they got married again. And now it?s over. Good lord, Pam. You can do better than this!!
Pam Anderson is pulling the plug on her marriage to Rick Salomon … TMZ has learned. This will be Pam’s second split from Salomon, whom she married in 2007 and stayed with all of 2 months. She got the marriage annulled. She was also married to Tommy Lee and Kid Rock.
Pam went public in January, saying she married Salomon again.
Interesting timing … Salomon, a world-class poker player, won $2.8 million in the World Series of Poker Big One for One Drop last Tuesday. Pam filed on Thursday, so under the community property laws she gets half by the skin of her teeth … unless there’s a prenup.
In case you don’t recognize Salomon, he’s the one who co-starred with Paris Hilton in the famous sex tape, “One Night in Paris.” And then there’s Pam’s famous flick with Tommy Lee.
[From TMZ]
I actually forgot how many times Pam has been through this whole marriage-and-divorce thing. I completely blocked out the fact that she married Kid Rock. Seriously, I have so little memory of that. I think Pam just has issues with men and relationships. I think she?s like a dirtbag-magnet. And maybe those dirtbags genuinely love her (I believe Tommy Lee genuinely loved her), but she needs to phase them out. She?s 47 years old! She should settle down with a lawyer or a restaurateur. Someone with a real job, at the very least.

| Jenny McCarthy: 'When I?m 60, I want to still have a face that moves' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Jenny McCarthy really needs to stop with the Botox. Her face is getting that cat-like ?mask? quality that you see a lot in women who regularly abuse the ?Tox and fillers. Anyway, Jenny covers the new issue of New You Magazine and her interview is sort of interesting if you want to laugh about how she?s a jackass. First of all, this interview was conducted before she got fired from The View, which makes it funny (in a schadenfreude way) that she?s telling the magazine that she could see herself on The View for the next 20 years. Then she gets into her new engagement (to a man she?s been with for a year) and how Donnie is her everything. But my favorite part is when she tries to answer questions about the ongoing backlash to her anti-vaccine crusade. She was specifically asked about the recent Twitter debacle when tweeters went crazy bashing her ?beliefs.?
Jenny on where she sees herself in 20 years: ?Believe it or not, I think I?m still on The View. I love the show. I?m doing so much work to improve myself?signing up for critical thinking courses and doing all my media training. I want to be at the top of my game, and when I?m 60 I want to still have a face that moves.?
Jenny on reinvention: “When I first moved out to L.A. and I was a Playmate, I’d be asked, ‘What do you want to do?’ I’d reply, ‘Comedy.’ They’d say, ‘Honey, that’s funny. A Playmate in comedy? That’s never going to happen.’ But then I was on Singled Out. Later, I said I wanted to write a book and they said, ‘That’s hilarious. No one would pick up your book.? Now, I have 10 books. I almost enjoy the challenge. You tell me I can’t do it? Guess what ? I’m the rule-breaker.”
On Donnie Wahlberg: “He’s my mirror. Things were always unbalanced in my previous relationships ? I’ve either been a teacher or a student. With Donnie, we’re just equal. I have my own identity and goals and he has his, yet we’re so similar we work on them together.”
The backlash against her anti-vaccine fake-science: “You have to be strong enough as a woman to voice your opinion, and sometimes you can get really beat up. ? People are either with you or against you, and if you take a position and people don’t agree with it, they can hate you for life. When really, it’s just a position you hold, that has nothing to do with your personal self.”
[From People]
?When I?m 60 I want to still have a face that moves?? The ?still? implies that your face moves now, which it doesn?t, Cat-face. CB was annoyed by the ?he?s my mirror? thing, which is sort of annoying but Jenny always gushes like that about whoever she?s with. I remember when she used to say that same kind of stuff about Jim Carrey. And let?s be real ? this Donnie thing isn?t going to last. Maybe they?ll end up going through with the wedding, but it won?t last more than a few years. Trust.
But the worst part is how she answers the completely legitimate criticisms of her anti-vaccine pseudo-science. That?s what offends me the most. When the tide turned on her anti-vaccine stuff, she tried to backtrack and claim that she was never anti-vaccine although there?s a mountain of evidence to suggest otherwise. It?s disingenuous (at best) or idiotic to try to reframe the criticism as just people attacking her because she?s such a strong, opinionated woman. Blah.
