I complimented Brad Pitt several times during the press tour for Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. Brad legitimately looks great these days his hair is a good length and perfectly highlighted (so it doesn?t look highlighted), he doesn?t look puffy nor too thin, and his clothes were great too. But for Brad, it?s not enough to get back to the people?s heartthrob. He wants to be seen as ?doing well? and ?healthy? and ?probably going to get an Oscar nominaton.? Which, fair enough. But we?ve been hearing that ?Brad Pitt is doing really well!? for the past three years, basically. How many People Mag stories do we really need with the same update of ?he?s doing great!? It?s obvious that he had some difficult moments, and those moments were largely self-inflicted. So what?s the point? I guess to just rebrand Brad Pitt as Brad Pitt Is Totally Fine Now, Just In Time For An Oscar Nomination. Here?s the latest:
He?s healthier now: Since his 2016 split from Angelina Jolie, the actor, 55, has ?worked very hard on himself to be a better, healthier person and to be the best dad possible,? a source tells PEOPLE in this week?s issue. ?These were always his priorities. That his career is going well is a happy bonus that he is thrilled about.?
He takes his workouts seriously: The Oscar winner?s positive lifestyle changes also included focusing on his diet and workout regimen ? and the results are on full display in a shirtless Once Upon a Time scene reminiscent of his star-making six-pack moment in 1991?s Thelma & Louise. He ?really takes his workouts seriously,? the source says. ?It?s been a whole lifestyle change. And he looks amazing.?
He?s a hands-on dad? On the family front, the father of six recently helped celebrate Shiloh?s 13th birthday, and his oldest son Maddox, 18, will soon head to college in South Korea to study biochemistry. ?Despite having help, Brad is a hands-on dad,? an industry insider says. ?He comes from a close family, and he has continued to be a parent who is interested in the lives of his children.?
He?s found his happiness again: Between his latest movie?s box office success and Pitt?s personal strides, he?s ?really found his happiness again,? the first source says. ?He is back and very excited about life. And it?s well-deserved.?

There are tons of people who work hard and spend time with their families and are grateful for their success and their health and all of that, but saying that Brad ?deserves? to be where he is now just? rubs me the wrong way. I don?t know. As for the rest of it? it feels like this unnamed source is playing a little fast and loose with just how much Brad is involved with his kids. They name-check Maddox, but Maddox and Pax still don?t want to have anything to do with him. And what is this: ?Despite having help?? Is that a reference to Angelina being the help? LMAO. Or does Brad employ a full-time nanny for the odd weekend when he does have visitation with the younger kids?

Naomi Campbell really seems to be enjoying a second (or perhaps third) wind. People are tired of Insta-models and the bland second and third-generation celebrity spawn. It?s not that Naomi Campbell ever really had a moment of reckoning for all of those people she hurt with her phone, but she did serve her time (a week of community service for the phone-throwing). And there hasn?t been a huge scandal with Naomi in several years, and she?s still glamorous and interesting and fun to watch and talk about. So Naomi is still happening and still working and still being interviewed. Apparently, she chatted with Paris Match (via The Root) recently about traveling, racism and a moment in France where some racist idiot wouldn?t let her enter a hotel.
A racist incident: She recounted an incident, saying: ?I was recently in a city in the south of France, at the time of the Cannes Film Festival, where I was invited to participate in an event in a hotel whose name I will not mention. [They] did not want to let my friend and I in because of the color of my skin. The guy at the entrance pretended that the place was complete. He did not want to let my friend and I in because of the color of my skin ? But he let other people pass. I have always wanted people to be treated fairly. [I] do not believe that it goes without saying. The challenge is permanent,/It is [because of] these kinds of shocking moments that I will continue to express myself and make myself heard.?
She considered the late Nelson Mandela her mentor: ?Mandela opened my eyes, my heart, and showed me the way. With him, I learned a lot.?
Whether her race is an asset as a model: ?Yes and no. I have always refused the idea that it hinders me. There were obstacles, but in the business, the girls [her fellow supermodels] helped me a lot.?
What she wanted to do when she first started working: ?I had only one idea in my mind: to discover America. I had seen so many movies! For a first trip, we went back from New Orleans to Baton Rouge, then Alabama, Mississippi, and Pensacola, Fla. For a young black girl, discovering the southern United States was a very intense experience.?
Her new dream: ?My dream is to go to all African countries. I still have a lot to do. I want to change the perception of this continent, and encourage the people of our world to invest in infrastructure. For this mission, I will never be tired.?

She said the racist hotel incident happened ?recently,? I wonder if that means? during or adjacent to this year?s Cannes Film Festival? I can?t believe people still do that sh-t. But in some ways, I can totally believe it because look where we are and look at Donald Trump and Boris Johnson and the rise of white supremacists ?reclaiming? their power and all of that. It?s not that people have suddenly become more racist, it?s that they?ve suddenly stopped hiding their racism, because they?re proud of it. You know that guy went home and slept well because he was proud of denying Naomi Campbell entrance to an event. It made him feel important. It embiggened him. Ugh.

Earlier this year, we heard that Jake Gyllenhaal was quietly dating a 22-year-old model named Jeanne Cadieu. Jeanne is 16 years younger than Jake. Their relationship made sense, according to sources, because Jeanne is ?very mature for her age.? Insert massive eyeroll. I wondered at the time if Jake really does exist as some kind of undercover Leo DiCaprio constantly dating young women in the 20-23 age range for about a year or less. We call Leo out on that sh-t because he tends to date more famous models and because his girlfriends want us to know they?re dating so that they can get more work off of his name. Jake?s girlfriends aren?t as in-our-faces about it, but there?s a clear Leo-esque strategy, right? Anyway, Jake and Jeanne are still together. Probably because she?s so mature for her age.
Things are heating up between Jake Gyllenhaal and his French model girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu. We hear Cadieu has met his family and that they?ve been on a trip to Martha?s Vineyard together. Cadieu has also been spotted at previews of Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge?s Broadway play ?Sea Wall/A Life.?
They?re even participating in an art project together. The ?Inside Out? photo exhibition, which features portraits of both Cadieu and Gyllenhaal, among many others, adorns the wall outside of the Hudson Theatre. The couple ? who were first linked back in December ? have also been turning up at events, including Gyllenhaal?s ?Spider-Man: Far From Home? premiere in June and a bash for Cartier in Paris in April.

I?m including some photos of Jeanne below, where she attended the LA premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Jake Gyllenhaal is in that, so she attended her boyfriend?s premiere but they didn?t pose together. They?ve never posed together from what I can find in all of our photo agency archives. They attend events together (movie premieres, play openings, Cartier parties) but never pose together? I mean? on one side, good for Jake for being so private. On the other side, seems like a lot of dumb work to avoid being seen with someone you allegedly care about so much. I feel like its A LOT of work to date Jake, right? Better her than me. Thats probably why he goes for the young ones women his own age dont want to put in all that dumb work.

As we discussed yesterday, Rosanna Arquette got some criticism for tweeting this: ?I?m sorry I was born white and privileged. It disgusts me. And I feel so much shame.? Her Twitter account was public at the time, and she got a lot of comments from Trump supporters about how terrible she is for, like, her white guilt. I thought Rosanna?s tweet was unhelpful too, but whatever, I didn?t think people needed to full-on attack her for talking about her privilege. The comments got so bad that she made her Twitter account private. Now she?s spoken to The Wrap about everything that went down, post-tweet, and? I don?t know.
Actress Rosanna Arquette said Thursday the FBI advised her to make her Twitter account private after online critics lambasted her on Wednesday for tweeting that she was ashamed of being ?white and privileged.? Arquette, in an exclusive response to TheWrap, expanded on her comments and explained why she is now hiding tweets from anyone that is not among her 90,000 followers. ?Yes I?m locked to protect myself I was told by FBI to lock it up,? she said, declining to respond to requests for more detail on the FBI?s role in her decision.
Representatives for the FBI did not immediately respond to TheWrap?s request for comment. A Twitter representative did not immediately respond to TheWrap?s request for comment on if any users had been punished for comments directed at Arquette.
In her statement to TheWrap, Arquette detailed the ?threatening and cruel? online response to her Wednesday tweet. ?There are toxic and very vicious people on social media. Threatening and cruel,? Arquette said. ?I said yesterday the I am ashamed of the color of my skin. I am privileged just because I?m white. I feel shame. Because of all the violence that is happening in America and other racist countries. I was not raised to be racist. In fact my mother took me to Harlem to integrate and all black nursery school when I was 4. I feel truly desolate at the bigotry. and severe racism that we are witnessing in 2019.?
Rosanna Arquette, who was one of the first prominent individuals to publicly accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct, pointed to the disgraced mogul and a sinister ?Boy?s Club? that she said she needed to be protected from. The FBI, Arquette said, compelled her to take her account private.
?On top of being one of the women who came out about [Harvey] Weinstein. The Boy?s Club is bigger than it ever [has been], so the attacks are really actually dangerous right now. But that?s what they want to put me in a state of fear. And I say no. I will not be afraid so I will protect myself and I do have people around me who are ready to protect me if someone goes after me. Don?t f? with me is where I?m at.? In her statement, she also referenced disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who is awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges (he has pleaded not guilty). ?We are witnessing the light being shed in the darkest parts of a hidden sick society [?] the selling of children for sex. Epstein is just the beginning. These sick f?- are going down.?

On one side, I feel like the FBI would probably not get involved with Rosanna Arquette?s Twitter account. On the other side, people are absolutely batsh-t these days and it?s more than possible that Rosanna?s tweet brought a lot of nuts out of the woodwork. The FBI and other federal agencies are taking a lot of well-deserved heat for their historic lack of interest in white supremacist terrorists and terrorism committed by white folks and/or Trump supporters. It?s absolutely possible that a prominent actress tweeting about white guilt/white shame ?triggered? the wrong people.
Also: ?In fact my mother took me to Harlem to integrate and all black nursery school when I was 4.? Like, the problem was never that historically black spaces needed some white faces. Those historically black spaces were created because white folks wouldn?t allow black folks to come into their ?white spaces.? ?Integration? is not ?send one white child to Harlem.? *headdesk*

On Wednesday I happened to read this article in the New York Times that warns tourists to not sit on the Spanish Steps in Rome (or wade in Trevi Fountain) unless they bring enough money to pay a fine. The former will cost 400 euros ($450); the latter 450 euros ($500). Those are only two of the new bans that are being enforced in Rome, which, the Times notes, are meant ?to ?guarantee decorum, security and legality? by prohibiting actions that are ?not compatible with the historic and artistic decorum? of Rome?s center.? So I was amused by this story about Heidi Klum and her new husband, Tom Kaulitz, who ignored a no-swimming ban (for the second time!) in Capri?s Blue Grotto and are looking at a fine of 6,000 euros. Heidi and Tom just had a lavish second wedding in Capri last weekend.
Just days after their lavish second wedding, Heidi Klum and hubby Tom Kaulitz found themselves in some deep water during their honeymoon.
RadarOnline.com has learned the newlyweds are facing a stiff fine for swimming in the island of Capri?s famous Blue Grotto ? a serious no-no according to Italian law. The couple allegedly dived into the waters from a yacht shortly before sunset on Monday, August 5. People can visit the grotto by boat, but swimming is strictly forbidden.
?Last night at 5:30 pm Heidi Klum and some friends, there were 20 people, drove to the Blue Grotto, where she took a bath,? a statement translated from Italian detailed. ?As we know That [sic] this is forbidden, but this time the Italian police stopped them outside.?
Klum and Kaulitz now face a fine of 6,000 euros. That?s about $6,728 in U.S. dollars.
This is not the first time the couple have decided to take a dip in the forbidden waters. Exactly a year ago, Klum posted a video of her and Kaultiz swimming in the grotto, making out as an unseen singer serenaded the lovebirds.

We were all kind of blown away when Krysten Ritter appeared at the Oscar?s sporting a baby bump. I had no idea she was expecting. No wonder she was so content with ending Jessica Jones, she had another project to focus on. And now, the little bundle has arrived! Krysten and partner, Adam Granduciel, have welcomed a baby boy named Bruce.
Krysten Ritter has given birth to her first child ? a baby boy named Bruce Julian Knight Granofsky!
Bruce was born on July 29 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. TMZ got a hold of the little one?s birth certificate, which you can check out on their site.

Adam?s actual last name is Granofsky, he goes by Granduciel for his band, The War on Drugs. Bruce Julian Knight sounds like a knight, doesn?t it? Of course, given Krysten?s superhero background, there are already theories that the name is comic related, specifically Bruce Wayne/The Dark Knight. Given that Krysten was in a Marvel show, this would be kind of funny. However, the baby shower usually gives hints if the baby?s name is themed. Krysten and Adam?s was rock n? roll themed so I?m inclined to think Bruce and Knight are just a coincidence, rather than an ode to Batman.
Other than what?s in the excerpt, we don?t know much. Both Krysten and Adam are pretty private about their personal life, so I don?t think we?ll get much more information, which, of course, is perfectly fine. Except I like baby pics. One thing we do know is that Baby Bruce will be well-kept in blankets and caps. Krysten is an avid knitter who has her own pattern line. Maybe Bruce will be her model for a new baby-line? Ohmigawd ? what if Bruce and Mikey model together?! We may not get pics of Bruce on her Instagram, but Krysten is always generous with pics of her pup Mikey (and bless her all the more for it.)

Here are some photos from last night?s Broadway opening event for Sea Wall/A Life at the Hudson Theater in New York. Anne Hathaway was there to support friends, I assume, and she looked stunning, glowing and lovely. Annie is quite pregnant these days, to the point where designers have to make special looks for her growing bump. That?s what Brandon Maxwell did he customized this dress just for Anne. The cut-outs on a maternity dress? usually I?m not a fan of cut-out generally, but this is a very cool maternity look. Anne looks amazing.
As I was looking through the photos from the event, I also spied some pics of Tom Hiddleston. Tom and Anne at the same event! It?s a TWEE-OFF! No, I jest, I don?t think Anne is still twee (Tom might be though). Tom is in New York these days because he?s about to open in Betrayal on Broadway too. He came to this opening with his Betrayal costars, Charlie Cox and Zawe Ashton. *insert sideeye emoji*
Incidentally, Anne recently discussed her ?Mommy Brain? which is actually a real, scientific thing. Anne recently told reporters that she?s ?genuinely? suffering from Mommy Brain and: I dont remember what I say from minute to minute? I can focus on certain things that are fine, but there are certain things my brain just.?it refuses to allow me to imagine directions, so if you describe something, shapes or you spell something, I cant go there. And certain words I have a hard time recalling, so I become that spinny wheel of death on your computer in conversation with me. And I feel Im very taxing for people to be around. LOL. You literally can?t say ?make a U-turn here? because she?ll just sit in traffic, thinking ?what shape is a ?U???
