She really racks up the frequent flyer miles, and Nicole Scherzinger caught a flight to Los Angeles via London?s Heathrow International Airport today (December 17).
The ?Don?t Cha? songstress looked lovely in a black fur-lined winter coat as she kept her head down and scurried through the terminal towards her gate.
Nicole performed a memorable duet of ?And I?m Telling You? with Sam Bailey on ?The X Factor? on Sunday night (December 15), and it sounds like Scherzinger was just as geeked about it as Sam.
She explained, ?It was beautiful tonight, she came out crying and she said, ?I?ve been waiting 20 years for this.? So, good for her. The first time we saw her and she sang ?Listen? in the small room, she brought tears to my eyes and I was like, ?She?s going to win this competition.??

The 21-year-old pop icon showed up at The Verizon Center sporting a white fur coat with a white top and white briefs paired with a white leather Chanel fanny pack and performed her hits for the grateful sold-out crowd.
Miley was selected as one of Barbara Walters? ?10 Most Fascinating People of 2013,? and in her interview she confesses her true feelings about splitting with fianc Liam Hemsworth.
Cyrus noted, "I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year. I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself."

Shia Labeouf directed a short film, “HowardCantour.com,” that basically fires shots at film critics. Funnily enough, these same critics realized the short was plagiarized word for word from an illustrated short by Daniel Clowescalled Justin M. Damiano. Cloweswasn’t credited in the film. Shia’s short, which had been online, has now been password protected after the backlash.
Late last night, Shia Labeouf issued an apology in which he claimed to have been merely inspired by Clowes work and just forgot to credit him.
Copying isn’t particularly creative work. Being inspired by someone else’s idea to produce something new and different IS creative work.In my excitement and naivet as an amateur filmmaker, I got lost in the creative process and neglected to follow proper accreditation.I’m embarrassed that I failed to credit @danielclowes for his original graphic novella Justin M. Damiano, which served as my inspiration.I was truly moved by his piece of work & I knew that it would make a poignant & relevant short. I apologize to all who assumed I wrote it.I deeply regret the manner in which these events have unfolded and want @danielclowes to know that I have a great respect for his work.
I fucked up.
It’s one of those apologies that walk the line between a real apology meant to gain back respect and a brush-off. If we saw Shia apologize to Daniel in real life, it would look like this: “Sorry, bro.” *shrugs, raises fist for a dap*
Hilariously, the first part of Shia’s apology may have also been plagiarized. Which makes me think he’s just trolling everyone.

Penelope Cruz covers the January issue of Allure. She?s so beautiful it hurts, although I kind of hate the photo they chose for the cover. It?s TOO cropped, too much FACE. I could stare at her face all day, but jeez, the cover is like ?LOOK AT HER NOSTRILS.? Anyway, Penelope talks about breastfeeding and a bunch of other stuff in her interview. Penelope calls breastfeeding ?addictive? and says she plans to breastfeed her daughter for 13 months, just like Penelope did with her first kid, some Leonardo. Which? is completely normal, even WHO-recommended. Some highlights from the Allure piece:
Diet & breastfeeding: Penlope Cruz dug into the soup, Peking duck, and crispy fish she ordered during her Allure interview, saying, “As you can see, we’re not going to talk about diet for this story.” Not the deprivation type, anyway. Cruz, mother of six-month-old Luna, says, “I’m supposed to get extra calories because breast-feeding you burn, like, an extra 500 a day. I was breast-feeding my son 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter. [Nursing] is addictive. It’s hard when the day comes when you have to stop.”
Family: Cruz and her husband, actor Javier Bardem, are also parents to Leonardo, almost 3. “I always knew I wanted a family because of the way I grew up,” she says. “Family has always been the most important thing.”
Hair: “My parents owned a hair salon, so I learned a few tricks there. I can cut people’s hair?if they let me,” says Cruz.
On Salma Hayek: ?She’s one of my best friends. We call each other huevos [eggs]. It was because when we were working together, we didn?t have children yet, so we used to sleep much more than now. I knew Salma and Penelope were friends but I didn?t know that about the ?huevos? nickname. That seems? silly and sweet. As for her babies? I had forgotten that she named her daughter Luna. So Penelope and Javier have a Luna and a Leonardo. I like the name Luna ? my name means ?moon? as well, so I?ve always had an affection for ?moon?-type names.

I?m about to apply the same logic to Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston?s relationship that I?ve applied (in the past) to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. That logic? Basically, whenever rumors swirl that a couple is breaking up and the couple goes out and puts up a ?togetherness? front, it actually means something. On a superficial level, we?re supposed to look at JustJen together in the same car, going to Emily Blunt?s baby shower, and think ?Yay, they?re still together, no problems here!? But I?ve always thought there was more to it, especially with these obvious kinds of photo-ops and official sounding push-backs. It?s not just that Justin and Jennifer went out in public together ? it?s that they talked about the rumors and decided on a plan of action together to refute the rumors, that?s what speaks volumes to me. While I still wonder/assume that Justin and Jennifer will be done in four months? time, I think it?s a good sign for them as a couple that they?re working together to push back on the rumors.
So, here?s hoping that they?ve worked out their junk and that Justin signed off on this Daily Mail story. The Mail published this last night as an ?exclusive?. It sounds like it came from Jennifer?s publicist, but who knows really?
They quashed speculation their relationship is on the rocks after throwing a star-studded Christmas party with a guest list to rival the Oscars. And after putting their wedding on hold, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are now vowing to spend more time together in 2014 – having even attended counseling sessions, MailOnline can reveal.
After being separated for work over the past few months, the couple have now made plans for a New Year sunshine break in Mexico.
A source said: ‘Jen and Justin love each other, they are fully committed. They had hoped to be married by now but work commitments this year meant their plans went astray. They have had some counseling. They both regret not spending more time together this year and they’re determined that next year will be different.’
The couple recently moved into their newly renovated $21million Bel Air residence – where they threw a holiday bash earlier this month – but a friend said that Jennifer has conceded she will set up camp in New York when Justin begins filming HBO series The Leftovers next spring.
Their continuing closeness could be seen as Justin, 42, dropped, former Friends star Jennifer, 44, off at pal Emily Blunt’s baby shower in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon – picking her up a few hours later.
Engaged since August 2012, they have been discussing wedding plans, as the source said: ‘Jen and Justin are looking at it like it’s a party for their friends. They’ve downgraded the scale of their wedding. Justin is adamant it will happen in 2014 but that it will be more ‘spontaneous and organic ‘ than they’d previously wanted.’

The ?Austin Powers? actress and her cricket player beau can?t seem to work out the kinks in their relationship and therefore have decided it?s over for good.
An insider told HELLO magazine, "It is very sad and they tried to make it work but there were just too many issues in the way. Elizabeth is taking it one day at a time. She will always be extremely fond of Shane."

Mark Wahlberg is promoting his new movie, Lone Survivor, a true story about a group of Navy SEALs in Afghanistan. The story is crushing and the film looks good, but it also looks like the kind of film that will make you hate your life. It always surprises me when Mark mixes in these surprisingly gifted dramatic performances ? even though I think Mark is probably a toolbox, I have to say, he has dramatic chops. He?s a gifted actor who just chooses to do crap most of the time. Anyway, Mark has a new interview with Parade, which you can read here. Some highlights:
He?s a high school-graduate now: [He called] dropping out in ninth grade ?one of my biggest regrets,? and he got his diploma over the summer. ?I didn?t want my kids saying, ?You didn?t finish school?why do we need to???? he says.
His takeaway from Lone Survivor: ?It takes a very special individual to become a SEAL. I felt it was so important to give the guys who never came down off that mountain their due. My wife couldn?t talk for 45 minutes after she saw the movie. All she kept thinking about were the sons and fathers and mothers and daughters out there fighting for our freedom. You take it for granted.?
His hometown, Boston: ?It?s a great blue-collar town. Just look at what happened with the marathon bombings and how people rallied together. When I was watching the World Series, I told my wife and kids how important it was for the city, how much it would mean to people.?
His Sunday routine: ?If the kids are good, I?ll have doughnuts for them at 6:30 in the morning, and I?ll say, ?You guys gotta let Mommy sleep in!? I?ll go to church at 7:30 and everybody will be eating breakfast when I come home. Then we?ll go to church again at 10:30, if things aren?t too hectic. Or if one of the kids has a game we?ll watch them play. It?s a nice family day.?
His faith: ?It?s the most important part of my life. I don?t try to push it on anybody and I don?t try to hide it.?
He loves Legos: ?My sons and I thoroughly enjoy Legos. We go to the toy store every week for more. I never want to take what we build apart; I want to put it on a shelf. My wife is starting to get a little annoyed with the Legos lying around.?
His entourage: ?My wife, the kids, and a wonderful nanny. When I?m filming, all the guys are with me; but if I?m not at work, I?m with my family.?
Feeling like he has something to prove: ?Certainly. I don?t think it was customary for people from a music background to be accepted in film in a serious way. Considering what I had to overcome, I?ve had plenty to motivate me. Even more so today?I?m passionate about what I do. I?m a little older, but I?m not getting lazy!?

He goes to church twice on Sundays? That?s what I?m getting. Explain it to me, Catholics. He goes to an early mass by himself and then he takes his family with him later? Is that common? I think Mark is probably like many religious people these days ? a misspent youth, years spent chasing the superficial things, then parenthood and adulthood and you go back to your faith. His faith just seems more important to him because he?s a father, I think ? he wants to raise his kids with a set of values and he probably hopes that they aren?t going to have the same kind of misspent youth he had.
Also ? I kind of love that he gives a shout-out to his kids? nanny. In The Mother Wars, it does seem like only the women get asked about nannies and such, so it?s great to see an actor acknowledge that he couldn?t do what he does without a support system that includes his kids? nanny.

This is a complicated story that may have a simple explanation. ABC News got hold of a police report, filed by Ashley Judd, in which she accuses her older sister, Wynonna, of placing a tracking device on a vehicle that Ashley owned, which was being driven by someone else. Because Ashley can’t explain anything succinctly or clearly (seriously, have you heard her speak?) ABC News doesn’t know how to report this story other than to repeat the confusing details in the police report. When you read TMZ’s version, they make the situation pretty clear. The car was being driven by Wynonna’s teenage daughter, and that’s why someone placed a tracker on it. Wynonna wanted to know what her daughter was up to. I gather from these two stories that Ashley has custody of Wynonna’s daughter. Here’s TMZ’s version:
Wynonna Judd is being accused of attempting to secretly track her sister Ashley Judd’s every move … by placing a GPS tracking device on her car.
The incident was first reported to police back in November when Wynonna’s daughter drove Ashley’s car to a mechanic … and asked them to check for a tracking device — according to reports.
The GPS device was located … so they reported it to police — and an investigation was launched to figure out who put it there.
According to the police report … when cops contacted Ashley asking if she had any idea who placed the device on her ride — Ashley pointed the finger at Wynonna.
Detectives tried in vain to reach Wynonna … so they contacted the P.I. to whom the device was registered — but they got the cold shoulder.
Wynonna’s lawyer eventually called police — and said the whole thing was a misunderstanding … the singer was just trying to track her daughter whom she knew had been driving the vehicle.

ABC News has more, including the detail that the tracker may have placed on the car by Wynonna’s ex, her first husband, Arch Kelley, not Wynonna. (Although Kelley denies this, and it sounds like Wynonna admitted to TMZ that she was the one who arranged for the tracker.) Kelley has two kids with Wynonna, 17 year-old daughter, Grace, and 18 year-old son, Elijah. (Kelley is not the horrible excuse for a human being who was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual battery against a minor, that was Wynonna’s second ex-husband, her former bodyguard D. R. Roach.)
So instead of realizing that Wynonna or her ex husband was tracking their teenage daughter, Ashley called the cops. This points to a pretty intense family feud. I want to know the details behind what happened, but even if Ashley tells the press everything it still won’t make sense. We’ll have to wade through a word salad so deep that it won’t be worth the effort to get to the truth.

Before her death, Elizabeth mentioned once or twice that she considered Colin a friend, and then when she passed away, Colin was invited to be part of her funeral/memorial ? he read a poem for Elizabeth. Knowing Elizabeth?s taste in men ? God, she loved a scoundrel with an accent! ? I thought she and Colin had probably met in passing and enchanted each other. Turns out, it was a lot more to it. Colin appeared on The Ellen Show and basically said that he wanted to marry Elizabeth!
One of the greatest loves of Colin Farrell’s life was over 40 years his senior. During a sit-down with Ellen DeGeneres on Monday, the Irish actor, 37, opened up about his unusual and touching relationship with screen icon Elizabeth Taylor, who passed at age 79 in 2011.
‘It was kind of like the last, it feels like in my head, not her, I?m projecting, but the last kind of romantic relationship I had, which was never consummated,’ said Colin, who is now starring in Saving Mr Banks. It all started when Colin bumped into her team in a hospital.
‘My youngest son was being born,’ started the looker who has two sons, James, aged 10, and Henry, aged four. We were in Cedars and I bumped into – it was about an hour before Henry arrived – and I bumped into somebody outside the lift. It was Elizabeth?s manager and her close friend Tim Mendelsohn and they said what are you doing here?’
Colin – who Eileen Atkins, 70, famously confessed in 2005 had asked her for no-strings attached-sex when they co-starred in Ask The Dust – continued: ‘I said my son?s about to be born. They said oh. I said what are you doing here? And they said well Elizabeth?s having a stent put in her heart, it?s no big deal cause she had so much sh** and I said, “Will you tell her I said hello? She probably won’t know who I am.” And they go, “No, she knows who you are,” and I went wow, “Cool. Well, tell her I said hello and I wish her the best” and they said, “Will do.? I got home a few days later with Henry and I was thinking about Elizabeth and how she was doing and I called my publicist and I said I bumped into some people of Elizabeth Taylor?s, some friends of hers, could I send her some flowers? And my publicist said that?s funny because I?m looking at and orchid from Elizabeth Taylor for you… I said wow that?s amazing. I said, well send that bad boy over to the house.’
‘I then cheekily about a week later said, listen is there any chance I can go?can I go and see her?’ Colin admitted. After his rep made some calls, the two started hanging out. ‘That was the beginning of a year and a half or two years of what was a really cool,’ he said. ?I just adored her,’ the In Bruges star, who had attended Elizabeth’s funeral in 2011 and even read a poem, said. ‘She was a spectacular, spectacular woman.’
He also touchingly added he wouldn’t have minded being her eighth husband: ‘I wanted to be number eight but we ran out of road.’
One of the things the two stars bonded over was their insomnia.

I mean? come on! I?m so happy he finally explained their relationship. So Elizabeth had her eye on him and she made the first move ? sending him a lovely orchid. And Colin then pursued her, which probably made her so happy. Elizabeth loved to be pursued. She loved when men put her on a pedestal. I have to say? I think Colin is a special kind of man. He really doesn?t see age or infirmity, does he? All he sees is the woman. And you know what? I wonder if Elizabeth and Colin might have in fact fooled around. Come on! You know he tried something.

As I previewed yesterday, Cate Blanchett covers the new issue of Vogue Mag, the January issue. I saw some sites complaining about how ?boring? it was for Vogue to give Cate her FIFTH cover, but I like that she?s gotten another one. She?s had a good year and she?s definitely going to get an Oscar nomination for Blue Jasmine, so this cover makes sense. Plus, she?s promoting her supporting role in The Monuments Men, with her buddy George Clooney.
Now, all that being said, I?ve been looking at these Craig McDean photos for a while and? I?m not really feeling this editorial. Cate is flawless ? she looks good in nearly anything, she?s aging beautifully and she?s just an awesome person. She?s also one of the most photogenic women in the world. So? is it just me or is this photoshoot really blah? It?s like they were trying to challenge themselves with ?Let?s see how boring we can make her look and see if she still pops!? Or maybe I?m overthinking it. Or maybe Vogue needed to think more about it.
You can read the cover story preview here ? all I?m getting is that Cate is not good with math or time and that her go-to name of affection is not ?honey? or ?sweetie? but ?Ace?. LOVE IT.
One more thing ? Cate is still supposed to do John Hillcoat?s new film, Triple Nine, only the dude actors in the film have changed up. It?s possible that Cate?s next film will star? Christoph Waltz (!), Chiwetel Ejiofor (!!), Michael B. Jordan (!!!) and Casey Affleck. That sounds super-interesting. Chiwetel and Cate? I want to go there.

Here’s a promo picture of Miley with Barbara Walters during the filming of the very last edition of Most Fascinating People. The episode airs Wednesday night. As you can see, Miley got actually dressed (in clothes, not pasties) for her big interview. She went subdued with the hair and makeup, and her tongue isn’t hanging out all over the place (at least in this photo). How discombobulating.
I’m sure the full interview will contain many references to twerking and the VMAs, and maybe Miley will offer to show Barbara how to twerk. Surely she’ll be more respectful to Barb than she was to Matt Lauer (even though Lauer had it coming). Here are some highlights from the upcoming special:
Miley Cyrus, 21, and Liam Hemsworth, 23, were together for four years and announced their engagement in 2012, but the couple confirmed in September that they had called it quits. While she loved Hemsworth, Cyrus said, she believes she can now “actually be happy” on her own.
“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had this entire year. I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like without them you can’t be yourself,” she tells Walters.
“I don?t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn?t change being engaged,” she said. “It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years,” Cyrus said, “But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I?m just at my house, by myself.”
Several tracks on the pop singer?s latest album, Bangerz, refer to love. In the song “Drive,” Cyrus crones the lyrics, “I was crazy, thinking you were mine. It was all just a lie,” but denied there was anything false about her and Hemsworth?s relationship.
“I don’t think there was any, any lies,” she said.
When asked whether she ever wanted to be married and spend the rest of her life with someone, Cyrus said, “I think I’ll want that in the times that it needs to be.”

This interview is going to be hilarious. Miley is flat-out lying about loving to be alone. Either that or she’s forgotten about how she tweets up a storm about being bored and so depressed whenever there’s no one around to amuse her. I think she’s just trying to sound wise in this interview because it’s Barbara Walters, and it’s a fairly transparent ploy. But I could be wrong. Maybe Miley has really grown up in these past few weeks.

Starting their morning off with a little food fuel, Jennifer Garner and Seraphina Affleck grabbed breakfast at the Brentwood Country Mart on Monday (December 16).
The "Dallas Buyers Club" star looked cute in a black and red striped sweater, short black skirt, and black nylons as her little girl clutched a teddy bear on the way out.
Over the weekend, it was time to have some quality time with her older daughter Violet for Soccer Sunday.
Giving her little athlete a piggyback ride off the field, Jennifer looked proud as her grinning girl carried a shining trophy in her hand.

Taking care of some promotional duties, Lindsay Lohan was on hand for the Just Sing It app launch event on Monday evening (December 16) in New York City.
Decked out in an all-black ensemble, the red head obliged the shutterbugs as she posed alongside the apps logo at Pravda.
The karaoke app allows users to sing alone or with others and post the results to Facebook and Twitter.
It has been a busy time for the ?Mean Girls? actress. Over the weekend, Lilo hit up the Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden, where she introduced Miley Cyrus to the packed house.

Adding on another unique venture to her repertoire, Gwyneth Paltrow teamed up with Tracy Anderson for "The Restart Project."
Currently an internet video series, the project features women who have transformed their lives using health and fitness.
According to the celeb trainer, "they're not focused on getting into their skinny jeans, they're focused on healing themselves from the inside out."
Reportedly, the pair are about to take "The Restart Project" to the next level, planning a television show with Ryan Seacrest Productions. Check out a preview below.

Lindsay Lohan is hard-up for cash. Naturally, rumors are going around that she’s looking for a literary agent to write a tell-all based on journals she kept during her many rehab stints.
A meeting she had last week with reps from Waxman Leavall was taped for Lindsay’s reality show on Oprah’s network. According to TMZ, she’s already received multiple six-figure offers for the collection of chicken scratch she calls journals.
Suffice to say, pretty soon Lindsay’s life will be an open book. Much like her vagina.
