I have a beef with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. They keep talking about their relationship but then they don?t post new photos on their social or pose together anywhere so I have to keep reusing these same old tired photos from other posts. Work with us people! I still don?t know why they are talking so much about their relationship, or at least Orlando is. Katy?s latest admission at least had some context. While at a cocktail event for American Idol, Katy was noticeably not cocktailing. When asked why, she said she and Orlando were five weeks into a three-month pact of not drinking.
Katy Perry is a woman of her word!
The American Idol judge stopped by a curated cocktail event at New York Citys Mister Paradise on Monday alongside fellow judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and host Ryan Seacrest, but revealed that she would not be partaking for a very special reason.
Ive been sober for five weeks today? Ive been doing a pact with my partner [fianc Orlando Bloom] and I want to quit, she said while jokingly pretending to cry.
After Bryan playfully asked if she was caving, she responded, No, girl! I cant cave. I made a promise. Three months.

Originally, when I read the quote ?? and I want to quit,? I thought Katy meant she wanted to quit drinking. But I see now that probably meant she wanted to quit the pact in that moment. She wanted this story out there so we get to discuss it. (That?s the disclaimer for everyone about to tell me I am making too much of this.) I realize someone was probably going to ask why Katy wasn?t drinking at a cocktail event, so she needed a reason. That in and of itself is unfortunate because we should be able to say ?I don?t want a drink? and have it not be an issue. But she owns a non-alcoholic beverage company, which the bar had on hand. She could have just said ?representing, folks!? and ordered a mocktail. It?s a great message for those in the public eye to be seen drinking mocktails and other non-alcoholic options while enjoying themselves. But Katy made a point of saying she?s not drinking because of this pact and that the pact had a time limit. Which simply invites questions. Like why only three months? Is it a cleanse thing or a we?re drinking too much thing? Theres of course always the pregnancy speculation with a woman not drinking, and the three month time limit plays into that. Orlando cut down on his drinking after it was implied that it led to relationship issues with Miranda Kerr. It?s possible he?s backslid or maybe he wants his fiance to join him in cutting down.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced their engagement last year, almost a year ago exactly (Orly proposed on Valentine?s Day 2019). They?ve been planning their wedding for a while, so? this isn?t really a shotgun wedding, and yet?? Katy Perry is knocked up! She debuted her baby bump in these cheesy music video for this cheesy song ?Never Worn White.?
First of all, OH MY GOD. This song is terrible! I?m sure some people will insist on playing at their weddings but, again, OH MY GOD. Anyway, if the visual proof was not enough for you, Katy confirmed everything on her Instagram Stories last night. She told fans: ?There?s a lot that?s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively?to something you guys have been waiting for.? She thanked her fans for the all the well-wishes and she said: ?I?m excited, we?re excited, and happy. It?s probably the longest secret I?ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.?

It feels like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged like three years ago, but in reality, it was just in February. He gave her a heart-shaped ring and they promptly began planning their wedding. Personally, I?ve always felt like Katy and Orly?s dynamic was ?she?s in charge, her career comes first and Orlando is sort of fine with it.? Maybe I?m wrong, who really knows. My point is that I bet Katy is the one driving the wedding planning too, and that Orlando perhaps isn?t getting much of a say. And it looks like Katy decided to postpone the destination wedding because of an issue with the locale. Hm.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom aren?t heading down the aisle just yet. The pair were set to tie the knot this month, but a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that the wedding?s been postponed.
?They changed the timing due to the location they want,? says the insider. Not to worry ? everything?s still going smoothly for the couple. ?They?re beyond in love,? the source adds, noting that the singer, 35, and the actor, 42, are enjoying every minute of planning their nuptials.
?They?re going to have one local wedding party, and the other will be a destination wedding party,? the source adds. Babies are also on the brain: ?Katy wants to have her first kid soon after they get married,? adds the insider.

When Katy married Russell Brand, they did a destination wedding? in India! Is it bad form to do a second destination wedding for a second marriage? My thought is? I would want my second wedding to be different from my first wedding, especially if the first marriage ended in divorce after a few years. Destination wedding in India for the first one, that means doing a quiet LA wedding for the second one. But clearly, Katy does not agree. She has enough money to do whatever she wants, so whatever. I just don?t get all of the Wedding Tourism stuff. Where will the second wedding be held? Italy? France? Japan? Katy was just in Egypt with a huge crew too.

Here are some photos from the Global Ocean Gala in Monte Carlo last night. Prince Albert of Monaco has several big causes, and the environment and protecting the oceans are two of his biggest (he?s also a huge supporter of the Olympics and the Red Cross). You know the Global Ocean Gala was important because Princess Charlene even came out for it. And good lord, she looks like she?s been ?medicated.? Her gown is terrible, as is her makeup. And hair, for the matter.
The big story from the Ocean Gala was that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom attended? and this is their first time making a coupled-up red carpet appearance. They?ve been at the same events before, and Orlando has even been Katy?s ?date? at some events, but she?s never let him walk the red carpet with her, which is sort of funny. She?s like ?actually I don?t want to remind people that we?re together, we cool?? Katy?s hair, makeup and gown are also hideous, almost like she was really trying to look as awful as Charlene.
Oooh, look at Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Casiraghi. She?s crazy-beautiful, but her terrible gown made me laugh. Even beautiful women sometimes choose terrible clothes.

he superstar singer looked super cute in this printed playsuit that left us with serious stars in our eyes. The sky blue pick couldn’t be more summery with its bright hue, but Katy had made it even more season-appropriate by teaming with coral slip-on sandals and a pair of white sunnies.

Orlando Bloom has been volunteering with UNICEF since 2008 and was officially named a Goodwill Ambassador in 2009. In his latest work for the UN, Bloom became the first celebrity to visit Liberia since the region became decimated by an Ebola outbreak last year. While the deadly disease is largely considered under control, there is still a risk of contracting the virus. Bloom spent four days meeting with survivors and learning how the communities are trying to rebuild after the crisis.
In a video released by the UN, Bloom dons a protective suit to show the precautions that must be taken by healthcare workers, who are at greatest risk. In another scene, he meets with a 29 year-old father who lost his wife and four of his children to Ebola. The dad is raising his six year-old son alone and explains that people in his village are still afraid to play football (soccer) with him. On camera, Bloom reflects on his meeting and you can tell that he is moved by the plight of the single dad and all the people he met. Here’s more, thanks to People:
“Everyone I met was determined to beat Ebola so that they can resume their normal lives,” Bloom said in a UNICEF statement after meeting with religious and youth leaders in the capital city of Monrovia. “Communities have been at the center of the fight against Ebola and must continue to be supported because of their crucial role in getting to zero cases.”
In a touching video from his trip, Bloom is shown meeting with Ansu Anderson Turay and his 6-year-old son, Abraham.
Turay ? who lost his wife, two sons and two daughters in the Ebola outbreak ? is raising his son alone, and says that many in his village are still fearful to come in contact with him.
“It’s quite hard to comprehend such a loss,” an emotional Bloom said following their meeting. “They’re all just dealing with loss like that at such a profound level.”
Bloom praised the efforts of Ebola-affected communities in combatting the deadly virus, and the actor is shown in a video getting outfitted in protective gear, including two pairs of rubber gloves, full body suit and goggles.

People has a second video from UNICEF of Bloom touring a slum in Liberia’s capital, Monrovia, called West Point. In Monrovia, Bloom visited with the A-Life project, which works to raise awareness of Ebola prevention. He also visited a school near the Sierra Leone border and learned about their Ebola safety procedures.
People has two videos of Orlando’s visit, and the UN has two more that are available for download on their site. I’ve included the additional videos here. There’s a real gem of a video where Orlando visits a school, reads a story to the children, holds hands with a little girl, and gushes over babies in a clinic. He’s such a natural.

When we close the gossip books on 2014, will we say that it?s been a good year for Orlando Bloom? No. We won?t. Orlando and Miranda Kerr split in the fall of 2013 (after widespread rumors of her repeated infidelity and months of separation). Then Orlando spent much of 2014 living the shadow of Miranda?s new life as a single lady, where she literally had wealthy Aussies fighting over her in the street. Orly also had to deal with Miranda?s past, and the widely reported stories that she hooked with Justin Bieber? when she and Orly were still together. Over the summer, the Bieber thing came to a head when Orly and Biebs were in the same Ibiza nightclub and Orly threw a punch after Bieber reportedly complimented him on Miranda?s… bedside manner, shall we say. Bieber then spent days trolling Orlando on social media. The whole thing was pretty embarrassing.
What?s my point? Orlando kind of looks like a loser these days. I hate to incur the wrath of the Orly-loonies, but there it is. So maybe this is good news? Star Magazine says Orly might have found a new lady? Swedish actress Noomi Rapace!
Lord of the flings no more! Orlando Bloom has a new woman in his life and pals think this romance could be the one that finally sticks. Orlando, 37, has been in Prague shooting his upcomign thriller, ?Unlocked?, and set sources say he?s become extremely smitten with his costar Noomi Rapace.
?Orlando and Noomi have been spending a lot of time together, both on and off set,? dishes an insider. ?There?s real chemistry between them. He finds her fascinating and they have cozy meals together that last for hours.?
Noomi, 34, is also planning a move to London, which is where Orlando currently resides. ?Their relationship is still new and they aren?t exclusive yet? but this could be the start of something big. He thinks she?s very special.?

We know Noomi. Noomi is awesome. She?s a great actress, she?s tough, she?s cool, she?s weird and funny. She?s tight with Tom Hardy. She parties with Michael Fassbender. Why would SHE go for Orly? Sigh? I can?t say I?m happy about this one because I kind of think she could do better. But if she likes him and he likes her, God bless. God knows, he could use someone like Noomi in his life.

He?s a man of the world and Orlando Bloom showed up on an arriving flight at LAX International Airport on Monday (September 15).
The ?Pirates of the Caribbean? star looked to be in great spirits as he scurried off the plane and greeted fans and shutterbugs before hopping into a chauffeured car and speeding off.
Orlando is the new global ambassador for British Airways, and he recently shared his top tips for avoiding jet lag while traveling abroad.
Mr. Bloom suggests:
1. Adjust your sleep to the time zone you?re entering.
2. When travelling with the little ones, bring lots of entertainment. When I?m with my son [Flynn, 3], I have books and games which we play until he falls asleep.
3. Avoid alcohol
4. Drink lots of water to help to keep hydrated
5. Wear comfortable clothes when you fly- my preference is T-shirt and jeans.
6. Take time to enjoy the flight ? read a good book, watch a film, catch up on emails and sleep
7. Eat well. When it comes to meals, there?s always a fantastic choice on British Airways.
