Chalking up an honor for his humanitarian efforts, George Clooney headed over to the 26th annual Carousel of Hope Ball in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 20th).
The 51-year-old "Descendents" stud happily strutted the red carpet ahead of the event with his lady Stacy Keibler.
When George stepped up to the podium to accept his Brass Ring award he spoke of his efforts in Darfur saying, ?You can?t make people do the right things, but you can make it harder for them to do the wrong things.?
Neil Diamond was also in attendance and when the singer looked to the crowd for some vocal support, George was happy to share the mic with Neil to sing ?Sweet Caroline.?

And it sounds like Kourtney has been making all the right moves on her journey to drop her baby weight from being pregnant with her daughter Penelope.
Citing edamame as her snack of choice, Kardashian shared, ?When I'm here around the house, I just eat healthy. After I had Mason and was breastfeeding, I craved sweets, so I ate a box of Nilla Wafers a day. But I haven't done that this time."

With their hit show "Vegas" taking over CBS on Tuesday nights, Carrie-Ann Moss and Michael Chiklis teamed up to pitch in on promotions by covering the October 2012 issue of Vegas magazine.
The happy co-stars dressed up in designer items such as Valentino and Giorgio Armani for the Andrew Eccles shot spread while opening up about what it's like to work with one another and how they tune into their characters.

On his "Vegas" character:
"For me, it's important I make this guy unique. You can't look at someone you're playing as a villain; you have to understand his perspective on things."
On working with Carrie:
"First of all Carrie-Anne is absolutely lovely, and I mean that both physically and as a person. She's a really, really cool girl, and very smart. You can tell that with her, you get what you get - she's solid. We bonded in talking about the fact that we're very family-oriented; we're both married with children and low-key homebody types."
Carrie-Ann Moss:
On how she prepared to play her character:
"I also imagined my grandmother - her name is Beatrice - back then. I grabbed all of the post cards she ever sent me; I read all of her writings. She was a firecracker - beautiful, passionate, had four children, and was the foundation of her family."
On working with Michael:
"When Michael walks into the room with that whole mob group, it's a trip! That ego in his character is so out there. We'd never worked together before, but I always thought he was a really great actor. He's lovely; and, like he said, he's passionate about his family, which I dig."

Looking forward to an exciting evening, Jennifer Lopez left the Claridges Hotel delivery entrance in London, England this afternoon (October 22).
The ?Jenny from the Block? babe was joined by her dancer boyfriend Casper Smart as she headed off to the O2 Arena ahead of her Dance Again concert tonight.
In a recent interview, J. Lo shared that taking her daughter Emme to a Chanel fashion show was not the best idea she?s ever had.
"From the time (Emme) was little she was always in the wardrobe trying something on. So recently, when I was invited to the Chanel fashion show in Paris, I thought it would be nice to take her with me...?
"I hadn't been to a fashion show for ages and I forgot people could rush you. They were so close and I got so full of anxiety, thinking, 'What am I doing here with my daughter?' But she was fine. I was the one freaking out. I don't think I'll do that again."

What I gather from this interview is she has a bit of psycho in her and will put a dead barracuda in your vent for revenge before moving to Canada. I took a psychology class in college once so I know what I’m talking about.

The "Sin City" star waited patiently in a white top, black vest, light-gray patterned pants, and heeled black boots, while chatting with Cash Warren.
Recently, the 31-year-old mother-of-two showed her economical side when it came to air travel.
Earlier this month, she took the family on a flight from L.A. to the Big Apple. Her hubby, two children, and the nanny all boarded, but Jessica and Cash didn't stop in first class.
While the nanny sat with little Haven and Honor in the luxury of high-flying, Mr. and Mrs. Warren headed back to economy.
A fellow passenger told RadarOnline, "Everyone was doing a double take, seeing Jessica Alba sitting in coach, while her kids and nanny were in first class.?

Taking a break from her busy schedule, Amy Adams garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the November 2012 issue of Fairlady magazine.
The 38-year-old actress looked darling for the front page shot while Fairlady compiled a section of interviews where Amy is talking about her new job as a mother.
Noting how her outlook on life has changed over the past two years, Amy told People, "Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that's okay right now. I'm... not one of those women who make [motherhood] look easy. I'm always running late and look - there's guacamole on my purse!"
As for her acting career, "The Master" star said, "I actually love my work more now, because I feel if I'm going to be away from Aviana, I'd better enjoy it. I'm trying to be more present in each moment of my life."
Amy also admitted she's on an "internet ban" telling the Huffington Post, "I have to trust that I can priortise my family and myself while still finding the energy and focus for my work."

In other Bey and Jay news, during a recent radio interview with Cleveland’s z107.9, Pres. Obama was asked about his friendship with the Bey and Jay. By the way ? because I know some of you will be like ?I hate Obama because he gave a radio interview about Beyonce, NOBAMA,? let me just point out that the interview was wide-ranging, it was about politics and the economy and all of the presidential stuff, and Obama took a few pop culture questions as well. Anyway, Obama said he gave Jay parenting advice like, “I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with the baby]. And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law.” Obama also said that he has ?gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They?re good people. They’re down to earth. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they?re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.” Huh. Pres. Obama thinks Beyonce and Jay are ?down to earth?? That makes me question EVERYTHING.

Here are some new photos of Kristen Stewart arriving at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan today. I?m assuming she?s in Tokyo for some advanced promotional work for Breaking Dawn Part II. Robert Pattinson is currently in Sydney, Australia to do some BDII work as well ? he posed for a photo call solo, and he spent some time with fans. You can see the Sparkles photos here ? I wish we had them, because his outfit is kind of rough. But we just have these new pics of Kristen. She looks? happy? Much happier than she usually looks when she?s being pap?d at an airport. She looks cleaner too, like she showered before she got on the flight, and her clothes aren’t stained with days? worth of ice cream and nicotine (the breakfast of champions).
Here?s something else which surprised me ? Kristen attended Katy Perry?s birthday party over the weekend. Considering there were lots of reports that Katy was trying to climb on top of Rob as soon as Kristen cheated on him, I wouldn?t think that Kristen and Katy would be all that friendly. But I guess so. It was a costume party, by the way. Katy was dressed up as a vampire and John Mayer was dressed up as a vampire hunter. COUGH. You know who should get together? John Mayer and Kristen Stewart. They would seriously be perfect for each other. Maybe that will happen when Rob (hopefully?) dumps Kristen after they promote BDII?
By the way, in a nonsensical turn of events, PopSugar eventually pulled their exclusive photos of Kristen and Rob kissing at her new house in LA. We discussed those pics on Friday, because I think it?s nice to discuss the moves that everyone is making to promote the film and promote the Twihard Reconciliation. But apparently the ?official? line from Team K-Stew is that some mangy paparazzo got the photos without anyone?s explicit permission, and now PopSugar is saying that the photos aren?t up to their ?editorial standards?. And if you believe that version of events, I have a bridge to sell you.
PS? Kristen needs to stop wearing her baseball cap (Rob?s cap?) off-center like that. She looks like an idiot.

Josh addresses the cheating at 2:00
Fergie’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter” interview aired last night. I’m not going to front like I watched it at all, I didn’t, I’m just going on the clips and quotes posted online. We previously saw a preview clip in which Fergie addressed the “rumors” that Josh Duhamel cheated on her in 2009, nine months into their marriage, with a stripper he picked up in Atlanta while filming there. The story was pretty much confirmed by multiple outlets, and the stripper went on the record with some sordid details. Josh’s response at the time was to admit being in the strip club that night, but he dismissed the woman’s claims as “ridiculous.”
Fergie didn’t deny to Oprah that Josh cheated, she just very carefully worded her statement to neither confirm nor deny that story, while explaining how they overcame that period in their marriage. She told Oprah that they went to therapy together and that those “difficult times” made them “stronger as a unit, as a partnership… Our love today is a deeper love.” It looked to me like Fergie was kind of acknowledging that Josh cheated, while not directly saying it.
Well now we know how Josh addressed it. (That video is above.) He kind of talked around it, which I don’t blame him because he was at a family dinner with Fergie while talking to Oprah. It was uncomfortable to see. He said that he’s glad that incident happened because “it put me in check and made me realize what kind of man I wanted to be… I’m actually happy that all that happened… As much anger as I carried about it before, I’m actually happy that it did happen. It made me straighten my ass out.” At no point did he deny cheating at all, which honestly surprised me. Here’s more, thanks to ET Online:
Nine months after Fergie and Josh Duhamel tied the knot on January 10, 2009, rumors hit the tabloids alleging that Duhamel had a one-night stand with a stripper. Today, the couple explained how that rocky period strengthened their marriage on Oprah’s Next Chapter.
“We went to therapy,” Fergie said when asked if the couple ever thought of breaking up. “The whole thing just became a positive for us … Our marriage today — I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
Duhamel expressed similar sentiments later in the interview.
“Now, I’m actually happy that all that happened, because we wouldn’t be as strong as we are now,” said Josh, who has admitted to visiting a strip club, but has always denied the cheating claims.
“As much anger as a carried about it before, I’m actually thankful that it did happen, because in a lot of ways it made me straighten my ass out,” the former Las Vegas star continued.
With those dark times behind them, Fergie and Duhamel seem to be looking toward the future which could include kids.
“Two is our number. We negotiated that early on,” Fergie said when asked if they wanted a lot of kids. “He told me he wanted five and I said, ‘I’m not going any higher than two.’”

You know, these two were surprisingly honest and open about this. Just reading the quotes, I expected to find Josh full of sh*t, but I didn’t. I got the impression that he wants to change, that he considered himself changed. I was impressed that he didn’t directly deny anything, because I really expected him to. That doesn’t mean I think he’ll be faithful throughout the rest of his marriage, but maybe he’s trying.
That video above also includes the part mentioned by ET where Josh and Fergie say they want two kids, and that they negotiated that number together. Fergie is 37. I wonder if they’ve been trying to get pregnant for a while and if they’re having fertility issues. If so, they’re not saying.
Oprah has another clip with Fergie online in which she talks about overcoming her crystal meth addiction. She’s discussed this before. She says that “therapy, soul searching” and “discovering why I took the drugs in the first place” helped her get past that period. She claimed that “feeling inauthentic” in her group Wild Orchid led her to take drugs, but she didn’t know how to break free and “got into a [drug] scene.” She also describes her rock bottom (around 2:00) in which she says she was having paranoid hallucinations and had a moment in a church where she told God she would quit doing drugs. It seemed a little hokey to me, but it sounded like it was real for her.

Halle Berry takes the cover of the NY Times Sunday Style Magazine, to promote her co-starring role in the upcoming epic film Cloud Atlas, out later this week. It’s a whopper of a movie with no less than six plotlines spanning space and time and connecting the characters in some kind of existential web. The film is either a bloated pretentious mess or an ambitious uplifting experience, judging by advance reviews, which give it a positive 79% on Rotten Tomatoes. (Here’s a link to the trailer.)
In her NYT profile, Halle plays the still-humble starlet who triumphed over a difficult circumstances and a troubled childhood. That may be her experience, but it all sounds a bit hackneyed given her current position in life. This is Halle at her finest, trying to convince us that she’s this admirable figure, just trying to make her way in Hollywood and forge a better life for her child. She comes across somewhat well in the Times’ profile, because her quotes aren’t standing on their own and the piece is largely sympathetic. Still, I rolled my eyes a few times. Halle is laying it on thick here. Here’s some of what she said, with more at the source:
On the paparazzi
it?s not O.K. that they?re doing terrible things to my daughter. One night, after they chased us, it took me two hours just to get her calmed down enough to get to sleep.
On if Cloud Atlas is a ?comeback? for her
?I never went anywhere. I just seized the chance to be in an extraordinary film with an extraordinary cast, exploring an idea that?s relevant to everyone.?

Something vague about how she?s insecure
?Just because they see my face doesn?t mean they see me. A person?s self-esteem has nothing to do with how she looks. If it?s true that I?m beautiful,? she adds, ?I?m proof of that.
?Self-esteem comes from who you have in your life. How you were raised. What you struggled with as a child.?
Her struggles as a mixed race child
After her mother showed up for the first time at her all-black elementary school, Berry was shunned. ?Kids said I was adopted,? she says. ?Overnight, I didn?t fit in anymore.? When the family moved to the suburbs in search of a better education for Berry and her sister, she was suddenly the lone black child in a nearly all-white school. People left Oreo cookies in her locker. When she was elected prom queen, the school principal accused her of stuffing the ballot box and suggested she and the white runner-up flip a coin to see who got to be queen. Berry won the toss.
On proving herself
?I always had to prove myself through my actions,? she says. ?Be a cheerleader. Be class president. Be the editor of the newspaper. It gave me a way to show who I was without being angry or violent. By the time I left school, I had a lot of tenacity. I?d turned things around.?
On how her mom helped her with her identity
When she was 16, her mother stood with her in front of a mirror and asked what she saw. ?My mother helped me identify myself the way the world would identify me,? Berry says. ?Bloodlines didn?t matter as much as how I would be perceived? ? as beautiful but also as a black woman in a world in which the images of beautiful, successful black women were notably absent.
How a black counselor became her mentor
?My mother tried hard,? Berry says. ?But there was no substitute for having a black woman I could identify with, who could teach me about being black.?
A black school counselor named Yvonne Sims entered her life in fifth grade. She remains one of Berry?s closest friends. ?Yvonne taught me not to let the criticism affect me. She inspired me to be the best and gave me a model of a great black woman.?
On being biracial
We speak of her own experience, but also that of President Obama. She hasn?t met him, but she attended the inauguration and feels a connection to another dark-skinned child of an absent black father, raised by a white mother. ?Being biracial is sort of like being in a secret society,? she says. ?Most people I know of that mix have a real ability to be in a room with anyone, black or white.?
Winning the Oscar didn?t change much for her
?I come from humble beginnings,? she says. ?I always felt like the underdog. Behind the eight ball. I learned not to be too high on the hog. Even that night I won the Oscar, I had a fundamental knowing, it was just a moment in time. Driving home that night, back to my house, I felt like Cinderella. I said, ?When this night is over, I?m going back to who I was.? And I did.?
Why she?s trying to move to France
?I can?t grow my daughter in L.A.,? she tells me. ?You take a little child who is just trying to learn about the world and have all these people with cameras chasing after her, calling things out to her about her mother. It?s starting to make her feel special and different. I want her to feel special and different, but not for the reason of being my child.?
What she?d do if she wasn?t famous
?I?d go to the market with my daughter,? she says. ?Go to Santa Monica Pier and take her on a ride. Nothing special. Just live some normal life for once.?

As everyone points out, Halle could move a couple hours outside of LA and achieve the same objective with Nahla as moving to France. It’s not about protecting her daughter from the paparazzi, but that’s her line and she’s sticking to it. So we’re supposed to believe that Halle had a rough childhood and now she’s this vulnerable figure besieged by paparazzi she can’t shake unless she leaves the country. I’m not even getting into the biracial stuff, as a white woman I feel somewhat unqualified to comment on that. It all ties in to Halle’s narrative, and I’ll leave it at that. Also, notice how Halle takes no personal responsibility for her previous relationships at all. She has a “bad picker,” it’s not about her role in any way, somehow the guys were defective.

Wearing super skinny red jeans, no make-up and with her hair messily pulled into a pony tail, LeAnn Rimes checked into the Four Seasons at Beverly Hills for her one-on-one with Katie Couric on Saturday.
The singer had a lot to talk about with the talk show host. Her recent stint in a treatment center where she sought help for “stress anxiety” is probably tops on the list, along with her weight, her near-obsession with Twitter, the state of her marriage and her feud with her husband’s ex-wife.
As RadarOnline.com reported, LeAnn had convinced herself Eddie was cheating this summer before she checked into treatment. And Twitter is at the heart of a lawsuit the singer’s filed against a school teacher who Rimes claimed defamed her on the social networking site.
It’s something that has reportedly always caused a strain in her relationship with Cibrian, who was recently spotted without his wedding ring.
While his rep told us Eddie left his ring behind because he’d gone to the gym to box — and “who wears their ring at the gym?” — he and LeAnn haven’t been photographed together in almost four weeks.

Yes, the last time LeAnn and Eddie were photographed together, it was September 27th. That?s not conclusive proof or anything ? after all, LeAnn is still tweeting constantly about her marriage and about Eddie. The Mail?s sources also say that part of LeAnn?s ?issues? are about Eddie too: ?LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie. She’s been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She’s been on a downward spiral.?
You know what I think is interesting? LeAnn basically went to ?rehab? (?a spa?) for Twitter, AND she now has a paid-access-only website for her truly dedicated fans? so why is she still tweeting so much? Maybe Brandi Glanville is right (!) ? Brandi recently tweeted, ?Call me CRAZY but I don’t think “Twee-hab” worked! Xxxb?

These are photos of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher on Friday outside of the ?Pampered Foot? in Studio City. The couple that gets pedicures together stays together? Ugh. And now my head is filled with really gross images of Ashton and Mila doing some bizarre foot sex stuff. GROSS. Don?t get me wrong? I consider foot fetishes to be harmless and kind of sweet and funny. It?s just the idea of Ashton in particular having anything to do with any woman?s feet? ugh. I can?t.
I tend to believe that this footsy photo-op was probably in response to Demi Moore?s new PR strategy. Do we even have to debate that Team Demi is trying a new strategy? I think last week?s People Magazine cover speaks for itself. Her new strategy is ?pity poor Demi, she?s so miserable and brave because Ashton is boning Mila Kunis.? If that doesn?t make any sense, I?m guessing that it makes more sense to Demi after a few Whip-Its. Anyway, Page Six has some new information on what?s going down behind the scenes with Demi and Ashton:
Despite being separated for more than a year, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are still locked in a fierce private battle over the financial terms of their divorce settlement.
Sources tell us that lawyers for Kutcher, the highest-paid TV actor last year, and Moore ?are trying to negotiate a settlement out of court and out of the public eye.? But ?they still haven?t reached an agreement over money, because Ashton earned substantially more during the final years of their marriage, but he doesn?t want to pay a large settlement.?
And one source added that if they don?t reach a private agreement, ?the discussion could boil over into a public court battle.?
Kutcher, who made $24 million last year, and Moore split up after six years of marriage when he was reportedly caught cheating during their anniversary weekend. He has since moved on with a very public romance with former ?That ?70s Show? co-star Mila Kunis.
Meanwhile, Moore has been putting on a brave face in New York the past few days, hosting the GEMS Gala Wednesday before heading out to dinner with friends.
Thursday night, Moore attended a birthday party in Red Hook, Brooklyn, for Kabbalah leader Karen Berg, whose son Rabbi Yehuda Berg performed the marriage ceremony for Moore and Kutcher. Sources tell us the bash had a Texas-hoedown theme with hay bales and fire pits and a family-style dinner at long tables. Witnesses said Moore turned up in jeans and boots with three girlfriends and ?looked happy and mingled with other guests,? including Donna Karan, Cobra Starship?s Gabe Saporta and the Berg family.

Other sources and sites have claimed that Ashton and Demi are getting hung up over the money too, which I still don?t understand. Demi has lots of money! She saved her money from when she was a big star, she still gets acting and modeling gigs, and most importantly, her production company makes a lot of money too. I don?t understand why Demi thinks Ashton should give her some major settlement. Then again, I don?t really understand why Ashton won?t just pay her to get her out of his life. And then he’ll be free to marry Mila’s feet. It?s all very confusing.
PS… I think Ashton is sucking the hotness out of Mila. I hate to say it that way, and I hate the idea of it, but seriously. Mila has looked like hell ever since she started up with him.

These are some new photos of Jessica Simpson in Beverly Hills on Saturday. She and a friend (I think it was Cacee Cobb?) went shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue. We haven?t had new candid photos of Jessica in more than a month, since Jessica did her first round of interviews and appearances for her Weight Watchers contract. I have to say? Jessica has definitely taken off more weight in the past six weeks or so. When she was promoting WW in early September, it was kind of sad and funny how Jessica was trying to talk around the actual numbers, all while wearing either A) three pairs of Spanx and a peplum to mask her weight or B) a series of muumuus.
But the program is actually working now, and she must be working out a lot more too. Thus, this onesie and crazy platforms to show off her legs. Note that she?s keeping that huge purse in front of her mid-section most of the time. My mid-section is my problem area too, so on that, I feel for her. Otherwise, she looks really good I think. This is pretty much where she was weight-wise before she got pregnant, honestly. Some outlets claim that Jessica wants to be below her pre-baby weight, like she wants to get down to 130 pounds. I think that?s a pipe dream, but whatever. She looks good and I actually am proud of her for doing the work.
In a recent interview with iVillage, Jessica described her style this way: ?I would say that I’m pretty casual. I don’t ever wanna come across too intimidating, so as long as I look like you can come up and give me a hug, that’s good. My signature look has always been really classic and comfortable jeans and T-shirt.? She wants to look huggable. I?m sorry, I find that charming. Jessica wants to look like the person-equivalent of the Pillsbury Dough-boy. Jessica also said her style icon is? her mother. You can read more of Jessica?s interview here.

Because Heidi Montag’s star has fallen pretty far pretty quickly, she agreed to host Crazy Horse III’s three year anniversary in Vegas on Friday night. She didn’t strip because her plastic parts would have melted under the hot lights. She did bring along Spencer Pratt and set out on a mission to get her first lap dance.
Well, mission accomplished. One witness says she chose two dancers and showered them with $1 bills. Three of them to be exact. She’s a very big spender.

I watched one episode of Happy Endings and that was enough for me to know that the show was awful. Well, it hasn’t been cancelled yet which is a surprise, but I guess when you have two hotties like Elisha Cuthbert and Eliza Coupe people are going to watch no matter how bad it is.
