Skipping Across the Pond to promote her new movie, Sandra Bullock attended the premiere of "The Heat" at the Curzon Mayfair in London on Thursday (June 13).
The "Blind Side" star looked pretty in a long sleeveless black dress, belted at the waist with strappy high heels as she posed for pics outside.
Coming to U.S. theaters later this month, the buddy-cop comedy follows uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn and testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins as they try and take down a ruthless drug lord.
Joining the 48-year-old actress in the film are Melissa McCarthy, Tony Hale, Marlon Wayans, Ben Falcone, and Demin Bichir. "The Heat" hits theaters on June 28th.

Wilkinson was also in the house to do a poolside interview with Playboy Radio, and she seemed to be in good spirits as she talked on the air.

Making the most of her time in New York City, Emma Watson treated herself to a spot of shopping yesterday afternoon (June 12).
The ?Perks of Being a Wallflower? starlet headed over to the American Apparel store to pick up some basics, as she?s been busy promoting her new flick ?The Bling Ring? as of late.
Emma?s director Sofia Coppola recently told press that she was impressed with Watson?s ambition to ditch her English accent and sound more SoCal in the flick.
?I know that Emma watched a lot of stuff. I think that Emma watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians to work on her accent. She really wanted to get that area?the Calabasas dialect.?
?She worked really hard on it. I was really impressed. And I loved that she did not just want a California accent?she wanted that specific area. I also had them to watch a bunch of movies that glorified robbery, so they were in that mindset and thinking about it as something fun.?

Drew Barrymore covers the summer 2013 issue of California Style or C Magazine, and the publication chose the worst, most vanilla photo out of the whole shoot as the cover. The editorial is very gorgeous and features Drew in colorful botanical settings, and she’s styled beautifully, but the cover is so bland. Such a waste of an opportunity to sell copy.
In the interview, Drew gushes (like she is wont to do — it’s her default method of conversation) about her wonderful married life with Will Kopelman. Drew absolutely adores his (monied) family, which includes a philanthropist mom, Coco; a former Chanel CEO father, Arie; and a novelist sister, Jill Kargman. As a side note, I read one of Kargman’s books, The Rock Star in Seat 3A (which is totally about Trent Reznor, by the way), on an airplane a few years ago. Her writing is pure fluff but not as bad as a lot of chick lit. Well, Drew loves her new family, and she seems to particularly enjoy the fact that the Kopelmans actually sit down to dinner together, which is something she hadn’t really heard of as part of the dysfunctional Barrymore clan. Now Drew is all about sit-down meals, and she’s going to tell us all about it:
She’s so lucky: “I won the in-laws jackpot. It might be the best karma for having one of the wackiest upbringings. I never had dinner with my mom or dad, let alone together. It’s amazing to think that in life you can completely have a do-over.”
Kopelman enlightened her: “I told him, ‘Dining rooms are stupid. They shouldn’t exist. When was the last time we had a dinner party?’ Family dinners would never have occurred to me, and that’s what I want most. Now it’s my life mission to figure out this room.”

Oh noooo. I just had a vision of Drew getting so excited about dining rooms that she gets the bright idea to start offering a designing service just for that room! That’s what she does, you know. She tie-dyes socks in her sink and decides to try and sell them. She puts on lipstick, and all of a sudden she’s got a make-up line at Wal-Mart. Jennifer Aniston and her BFF/hairstylist Chris McMillan sat down to give a joint interview about Jennifer?s hair to Marie Claire. I hate myself for saying this, but I actually found it interesting. I mean, the interview is just an embedded advertisement for Living Proof, which is the MIT-created haircare line that Jennifer invested in, owns a portion of, and is the face of. But beyond the Living Proof name-drops, Jennifer and Chris gossip about who has good hair, when her hair was the most damaged, if she ever wore weaves and Jennifer?s ideal wedding hair. I accept this for what it is! Jennifer loves talking about hair. It?s like she?s 44 years old going on 14.
MARIE CLAIRE: You’ve always had great hair. Is it genetics or styling?
Jennifer Aniston: I have naturally wavy, frizzy Greek hair, and over the years it’s taken a beating from blow-dryers, flatirons, curlers, and extensions, which I think are the most damaging. I couldn’t get it to grow because it just kept breaking. Even when it was longer, it didn’t look long because the ends were so thin. I ended up using clip-in pieces just to fill it out.
MC: You’ve used hair extensions?
JA: Yes. There’s only so much hair can take. Mine was really brittle, dry, and dull, but the Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment brought it back to life.
MC: And now Chris McMillan is the brand’s celebrity hairstylist. How did the two of you first meet?
JA: He was 29 and I was 24. My manager at the time said, “You have to do something with your hair?it’s horrible!” I walked into the salon and Chris just lopped it off. I mean, at that point it was pretty much The Rachel.
MC: How has your hair attitude changed since that notorious crop?
JA: The Rachel was high maintenance. I’d curse Chris every time I had to blowdry. It took three brushes?it was like doing surgery! Now I apply Living Proof Prime Style Extender and let it dry naturally for about an hour. Once it’s halfway dry, I use low heat around the hairline and twist the strands with my fingers to get the cowlicks out. It’s done in 10 minutes.
MC: Does anyone give you hair envy?
JA: Kate Middleton. Does she do her hair herself? She’s got a hard job, being scrutinized like that. When I have a bad hair day, my hair just goes in a clip.
MC: It’s hard to imagine you having a bad hair day…
JA: In elementary school, I would use a curling iron and end up burning my forehead. I was a closeted hairdresser. I did my mom’s highlights with one of those caps with the holes?I even gave her a perm! I may have had another career if the acting thing hadn’t worked out.
Jennifer Aniston: The Rachel was horrible!
CHRIS MCMILLAN: I know that was Jen?s least favorite hairstyle because I hear about it every time I style her hair.
JA: I’m a creature of habit. I like a good, straight blowout.
CM: For her classic blowout, I apply Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse, then I blowdry in sections with a Parlux dryer and a Y.S. Park round brush.
JA: I love my hair most when we let it go raw and natural.
CM: One of my favorites was when Jen went to the Emmys in a white beaded Chanel dress and her hair was bohemian and wavy. I French-braided her hair and took it out right before she left. She looked like she just stepped off the beach.
JA: For my wedding, I wouldn’t do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty. I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress. Loose, like “I just got out of bed, maybe had a romp” hair.
CM: It always looks like she just had a romp in bed! I plan to do her hair three hours early, and hopefully she’ll have a romp in bed before the ceremony.

I really don?t understand when women complain about hair damage or their hair being ?brittle?. I live a privileged life with my Indian hair, obviously, but shouldn?t a good conditioner or hot oil treatment take care of many of these problems? And if your hair is really that damaged, maybe that?s a sign that you should stop with the flat-ironing, etc? I feel the same way about Gwyneth Paltrow too ? both Gwyneth and Jennifer are stuck in this ?90s Hair Paradox where flat-ironing and bleaching into oblivion is the height of Hair Fashion. If Jennifer just went a big darker and let her Greek curls fly, she would look so cute (and younger).

I?m also including a few pics of Salma and Francois-Henri Pinault from May below ? I got a few questions about whether or not Salma had gotten a breast reduction. I don?t know, but I doubt it. I think she?s a trophy wife and big boobs are part of that equation, so it?s far more likely that she was just wearing a minimizer or her clothes were just particularly boob-masking. Speaking of her trophy wife status, Salma talks a lot about how she only dresses to make her husband happy. Because that?s her life now:
Her style at the age of 47: ?I actually wear a lot of leather on the red carpet. My husband loves when I wear it.?

Do we give Salma credit for being honest about dressing for her husband? I?ve gone through stages where I dressed to impress men too, although I haven?t done that in a while. Nowadays I just dress for comfort, for myself, in whatever makes me happy. I think Salma?s situation is partly cute and partly sad. The cute part is that she still worries about her husband finding her attractive, and it?s cute because that?s a normal concern that most women can relate to, and it just goes to show you that even Salma Hayek worries about men being attracted to her. It?s also sad for exactly the same reasons.

Shakira covers the July issue of Elle to promote her role as a judge on NBC’s “The Voice” with pretty good timing since the season finale is steadily approaching and is set to air on June 18. The finale itself will feature Bruno Mars, Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, and — get this — Cher. Even from a non-watcher of the show, I have to admit that’s a pretty impressive lineup for a reality competition program.
In Elle’s photoshoot, Shakira is going for sultry and playful, and she’s so pretty, but I will never stop complaining about her straw-like blonde hair. She just looks so much better as a brunette, and I understand the need to experiment, but this blonde has been intact for years now. The interview (at least from the excerpts that have been released thus far) isn’t anything special. Shakira touches upon motherhood and her relationship with Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique:
On the male coaches of “The Voice: “In general, I think I’ve treated the boys with mercy.”
On her relationship with Gerard Pique: “He has his own world and that’s actually one of the healthiest things about the relationship. I know that he?s the one person who is with me not because of any interest other than the love than unites us. There’s nothing I can offer him beyond my womanhood — does that word exist in English?”
On motherhood: “I’m still trying to figure it out. And I have a feeling I will try to do the same for the rest of my life. Some people put it like it’s very idyllic, some people put it like it’s a torturing experience, but it?s not quite one thing or the other. It’s like life – it comes with everything.”
On her future in music: “I have no idea of where I want to go musically, but I?m fine that way. I don’t need to remain faithful to any concept, you know.”

It’s a welcome sight to see that Shakira isn’t getting all preachy and thinking she’s an expert mother after just giving birth in January to her son, Milan. She’s no Gisele Bundchen for sure, but I’m glad that Shak decided to stop whining about not taking any maternity leave. That was a bit ridiculous to complain about when she flat-out chose to work immediately after her baby was born. Also, this hair is crazy.

Here are some assorted photos from last night?s European/London premiere of Man of Steel. I didn?t talk about this when I covered the LA premiere photos, but it feels like it?s been a really long time since a major ?blockbuster? movie had its first premiere in LA. It used to be that the first premiere of most Hollywood movies were held in LA. Nowadays, they go to London, then they do a European tour for a week, THEN they do the promotional rounds in America. Which just goes to show you how important the foreign markets have become for Hollywood. It also shows you how much Superman is considered to be the most ?American? of superheroes, so I guess they?re hoping for a big box office in America first and foremost.
Anyway, these photos are nice but I?m not blown away by anyone. Henry Cavill?s hair is still bugging me, but this suit is so much better than his ensemble in LA. He?s been wearing Tom Ford for the premieres, and Tom Ford gave him a much better suit for the London premiere. Amy Adams is wearing Valentino. It?s okay. Not my favorite, but it doesn?t suck. My least favorite thing is the headband ? too cutesy.
As for the other men of Man of Steel ? my Michael Shannon crush is becoming a big problem. Why isn?t he mine?! As for Russell Crowe? my God. I would STILL hit it like a house on fire. It?s something particular about Rusty? he just still does it for me.
PS? Still no Gina Carano. Huh.

The ?Blind Side? beauty wore an off-the-shoulder black, blue, and white frock, accented by bright Pink heels as she returned from an appearance on ?The Graham Norton Show.?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 48-year-old actress may join Quvenzhan Wallis and Jamie Foxx in the cast, portraying head of the orphanage, Miss Hattigan.
Set in modern day, the musical follows a young orphan girl's adventures in finding a family that will take her.
Producers on the project include Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. "Annie" is slated to hit theaters on December 25th, 2014.

Stepping out in style for some shopping, Reese Witherspoon stopped by Neiman Marcus in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 12).
The "Walk the Line" star looked chic in a short turquoise dress, white blazer, and strappy white heels as she then headed off to say hello to hubby Jim Toth at his office.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 37-year-old actress will join forces with Sofia Vergara for a new comedy.
"Don't Mess with Texas" follows a police officer and a prisoner on the run in Texas, with crooked cops close behind.

The 32-year-old mommy-to-be wore a long olive green maxi-dress with a slit up the side and a white blazer as she laughed with her friend on the way to his vehicle.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the reality star was recently blindsided by reports that her man Kanye West cheated on her with model Leyla Ghobadi.
Though both reps denied the allegations, Kim is trying to say centered through it all, tweeting, "Tried yoga today. Was very relaxing. I was into it! Think I will try it again!"

The ?Sex and the City? cutie donned a lime green blouse with camouflage-patterned capri pants and strappy shoes as she made her way up the sidewalk.
Of her forthcoming line of footwear, SJP told press, "In a silly way, I think it's what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw."
"It's sort of soup to nuts. You put on a shoe and you put on a coat and you wear a bag and, on the outside, when you're walking down the street, they really can tell the same story about yourself."
