When Heidi Montag first went public with her extensive plastic surgery back in 2010, everyone was kind of shocked. She looked perfectly fine before and while her first stage of surgeries (nose job, boob job) were normal and arguably an improvement (although she certainly didn’t need them), she came out with a whole new face after the second round and a giant, painful looking rack. Her changes included a second nose and revised boob job, a chin reduction, lipo to her thighs and something she called back scooping or back reshaping, which I’ve just found out is lipo to the lower back. It was definitely a big difference, although the collective shock at her surgeries seems almost quaint now. It’s like we’ve become so used to seeing bizarre faces and giant lips that she’s just another reality star who had too much done too young.
Heidi was an unfortunate trendsetter at the time, and she knows this now. In a new joint interview with her husband, Spencer Pratt, Heidi talked about her plastic surgeries and said she didn’t know what she was thinking. This isn’t the first time she’s expressed regret at all the work she had done. These two are being interviewed due to the tenth anniversary of The Hills, as if that’s a pop culture phenomenon that needs to be celebrated. They have previously said that they’re broke, having squandered $10 million on things like personal security, Heidi’s failed music career, a gun arsenal and luxury goods.
[Heidi Montag] admits watching the show?s later episodes, when her plastic surgeries became one of the central storylines, isn?t something she looks forward to — for obvious reasons.
?I don?t want to watch it,? Montag, now 29, tells ET?s Ashley Crossan. ?I think that it was hard enough going through it at that time and I was just in way over my head. I had no idea what I was getting into.?
According to her husband and co-star, Spencer Pratt, his naivete and lack of awareness with the entire process played a part in their spiral.
?It wasn?t something like, ?Oh, how is this going to affect our lives?? It was like, ?Oh cool, you did it, right??? Pratt, 32, tells ET. ?I was thinking about where the next party was.?
?I would definitely say [to] women and men who think there?s such a thing as a minor surgical procedure, the second someone is hacking your body it no longer becomes minor surgery,? he adds.
While their friends and co-stars were out enjoying being twentysomethings in L.A. on The Hills, Montag and Pratt were dealing with far more serious matters.
?Everyone else in the show is in the clubs and dealing with this and that, and we were dealing with life-threatening, severe things,? Montag says. ?We were just emotionally empty and spent at that point, and we just really needed support and set up a team, and not to be cut down by everyone…
?It was the hardest time of my life and I feel like I?ve become a lot stronger from it. And [it] made me look at myself and reflect, ?Why did I do that??? Montag says, with a hint of regret. ?Maybe I needed to have more confidence and be more secure in who I was and not thinking so much about my eyebrows or my this or that…
?I think that I just became so consumed by this character that I was playing that I became that girl and lost track of this small-town Colorado girl,? she says. ?I just love the simple life. I like nature, I like different things and I kind of became consumed in a different world.?
While Montag wouldn?t go so far as to say she regrets the operations she?s had, she wouldn?t go under the knife again.
?Regret?s a hard word because I?m trying not to regret things in my life because that can be a dark path to go down,? Montag says. ?But I certainly wouldn?t do it again and I certainly wouldn?t recommend it and I have learned a lot from it and I just want to move forward in a positive way.?
It seems Montag and Pratt, who have been married since 2009, are stronger than ever.
?I loved [her] pre-surgery. I loved her so much,? Pratt says. ?And I loved Heidi post-surgery. I fell in love with Heidi?s dancing, so the [surgeries] did not affect her dance moves.?
[From ET Online]
I do feel sorry for Heidi, however the “life-threatening severe things” she was dealing with were serious complications from surgeries she had which were elective and which she capitalized on. I’ve watched Heidi and Spencer for years and they pulled a lot of stunts, many of which unfortunately backfired on them. They’re entertaining though and they definitely were pioneers in the early reality show days. They could only ride that wave for so long though. Also, I’m happy Heidi and Spencer are still together. As cheesy as they are, they’re sweet and kind of perfect for each other.

| Amber Heard wants you to know that she got along with Johnny's mom, okay' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?ve said this before, but I?ll say it again: my least favorite part of Divorce Watch or When-Did-It-All-Go-Wrong-Watch is Ring Watch. I HATE Ring Watch. But People Magazine did some analysis on photos of Amber Heard throughout the past few months, and they seem to think it?s significant that at some point in the past few months, Amber stopped wearing her diamond engagement ring. But she was wearing her wedding band up until a few weeks ago. Which just goes to my point: Ring Watch is bullsh-t. If celebrities are trying to tell us something by wearing or taking off their bands or engagement rings, they just need to USE THEIR WORDS. Stop with the ring games. That?s why I?m using these photos of Amber at the Met Gala a few weeks back. She wasn?t wearing her engagement ring at the Met Gala.
Meanwhile, the big story yesterday was that Amber was universally loathed by Johnny Depp?s family, especially his late mother. Johnny?s mom thought Amber was an uptradey a?hole who was just with Depp to help her career. TMZ also claimed that Amber had limited Johnny?s access to his mom last year, but when Johnny moved his mom into his home this year, Amber?s relationship with her mother-in-law got even worse. But Amber wants you to know that she adored Johnny?s mom.
With her marriage crumbling, Amber Heard remained a dedicated daughter-in-law to Johnny Depp’s ailing mom during the past year, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE.
“Amber was by Betty Sue’s side during this illness,” says the source, disputing reports of strife between Heard and Palmer. “And regularly visited her in the hospital.”
Betty Sue Palmer passed away last Friday in Los Angeles after a long illness. She was 81 and enjoyed a close relationship with her famous son over the years.
“They are a close-knit family with a special bond with their mom, who tied it all together,” a source close to Depp tells PEOPLE. “They took good care of her. She had been gravely ill for the last few years but they made sure she was well taken care of and had the best treatment. Johnny was very close to his mom.”
Meanwhile, the Heard source says “Amber is a family person” and enjoyed a friendly relationship with Depp’s mom from the start.
“Amber was the one that suggested that they get married at Betty Sue’s house,” says the source, adding that she was also close to Depp’s 14-year-old son. “She and Jack had a loving relationship.”
In 2014, Depp was spotted taking Heard and Palmer out for a New Year’s Eve dinner.
“It was obvious that Johnny was at dinner with his two favorite ladies,” an observer at Ago Restaurant in West Hollywood told PEOPLE at the time. “He seemed very, very happy.”
[From People]
If leaking this information to People Mag wasn?t enough, Amber and her team also ran to TMZ (the outlet that originally reported that Depp?s family hated Amber) with the same story. TMZ spoke to ?Amber sources? who claim that Amber was a regular visitor when Johnny?s mom was in and out of the hospital. Those sources also say that Johnny made the ?choice? not to spend a lot of time with his mom last year, and that ?Amber does not believe any members of Johnny’s family hated her?Our Amber sources say she actually has pictures of her snuggling with Johnny’s son, Jack.?
My take is that TMZ and People Magazine want the info to keep coming in, so they?re not asking any follow-up questions from these ?Amber sources.? Questions like? if Amber was so tight with her mother-in-law, why did she file for divorce two seconds after Betty died? And: if Amber is such a “family person,” why did she file for divorce when Depp was deep in grief? And I find the absence of a specific mention in these articles of Lily-Rose Depp interesting too ? sure, Amber will tell you that she got along really well with Johnny?s son. But what about Johnny?s teenage daughter, who seems especially close to her mom, Vanessa Paradis? Well, E! News has a “source” in a new story claiming that of course Amber was tight with Lily-Rose. Amber is betting a lot that Depp’s kids and the people closest to him won’t contradict her. Which they totally will. Yeah, so this whole thing is so messy. Made worse by Amber?s inability to think two steps ahead.

| Would you drop $1950 for Rihanna-designed 'star Trek' Dior sunglasses' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Rihanna has been representing Dior for a few years now. It?s a collaboration that works, perhaps even more than Jennifer Lawrence?s Dior contract. While I understand why Dior went with J-Law, I think their union has not been the best for either party. But Rihanna + Dior is magical. Anyway, these are some new promotional images from Dior. Rihanna is the face of Dior?s new sunglasses line. But Rihanna isn?t just ?the face? of this sunglass design ? she actually helped design them!
Dior?s search for a creative director continues, but in the meantime, there?s one major name designing for the house: Rihanna. The singer has created a range of futuristic sunglasses in collaboration with Dior as part of her brand ambassadorship. The name of the collection is simply ?Rihanna.? The sunglasses will be sold exclusively at Dior stores beginning in early June, though Rihanna has been teasing the shades on her Instagram account. There is one frame available in six variations ? the silver, pink, blue, green and red styles will retail for $840, while a deluxe 24-karat gold-plated version will sell for $1,950.
This is the second collaborative project between Rihanna and Dior. A year ago, Steven Klein photographed Rihanna in ?Secret Garden IV,? a campaign and short film shot inside Versailles features her in Dior sunglasses, carrying the brand?s bags and wearing looks from the Esprit Dior collection shown in Tokyo in December 2014. ?We are very pleased to partner for the second time with Rihanna,? said Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano. ?She is an artist, an entertainer, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and a style icon for today?s generation.?
The sunglasses are her first design project with Dior, a privilege never before granted to one of its house ambassadors, who include Charlize Theron, Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence. In October, Rihanna visited Dior?s headquarters on Avenue Montaigne to meet with the eyewear design team going over vintage frames, ultimately picking a style from 2000 as the key reference. In a statement provided by Dior, Rihanna named La Forge from ?Star Trek? as her inspiration for the frames. ?I?ve always been obsessed with his eyewear, and when I got to Dior and saw all the materials I could play with, it all just came together,? she said.
In terms of the design process, she said, ?The process was pretty seamless. I spent a day at Dior with their eyewear design team. I started by looking through all the archives to see what they?ve done in the past, then got acquainted with all the new materials. I literally sat there and drew and drew until I was happy with the design, and the team illustrated it for me right then and there. We picked materials and colors that same day, and after that it was a matter of weeks before I saw the first prototype.?
[From WWD]
Would you spend $840 on a pair of sunglasses? Would you spend $1950 on a pair of yellow-gold sunglasses? I would not. I think sunglasses are one of those accessories where you can go cheap, although I feel that way about a lot of things. I had a great pair of sunglasses that I bought for like $10 and they lasted me a good five years. They were super-flattering and, in my opinion, a lot cuter than these Dior sunglasses. I?m currently wearing a pair that I picked up at Kohl?s for something like $15 and they?re great too.
Now, all that being said, I think it?s cool that Dior has invited Rihanna into the process and that she?s a hands-on collaborator. Rihanna loves this stuff, and she does have a Midas touch when it comes to accessories, clothes, etc. I?m sure these (fug) sunglasses will be super-popular.

| Dwayne Johnson might get his own Fast & Furious spinoff: good idea? | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Action star and serial do-gooder Dwayne Johnson may be branching out even more. According to producer Hiram Garcia of the Fast and Furious franchise (say that five times), they are trying to position Johnson?s Luke Hobbs character to launch spinoff movie. Not only is it possible, but Garcia and Johnson have already started flushing out the background and storyline. Don?t hold your breath yet, the reason Johnson was sidelined in Fast 7 was due to his over packed schedule and there aren?t signs that it is lightening up anytime soon.
Do they love the character enough to make a standalone Hobbs movie starring Dwayne Johnson? “A hundred percent,” according to Garcia. “I think there’s always been conversations for that. The scheduling of it all is a challenge but there are always talks about a potential spinoff movie and what we can do with it. DJ and I were just talking about that the other day – our visions for it. There’s a real goal for that and we can have enough fun with that where we’ve earned that now with the audience. He’s a beloved enough character that they’d love to see what a ride with him would be like in his world. We have tons of history that we’ve crafted for this guy that we continue to sprinkle in throughout the movies. You’ll see a little bit more in this movie but ultimately we want to take that ride and spin him off and have some fun with it.”
[From ComicBook.Com]
OMG ? DJ?!? I am totally calling him ?DJ? too. Don?t worry about DJ?s screen time on Fast 8 because Garcia assures us that although DJ hasn?t shown up on set yet, they have him for a good chunk of his time and he will be ?spread throughout the entire film.? Let?s all just take a minute with that thought, shall we? Mmmmmm.
DJ also just confirmed that they are still moving forward on the remake of Big Trouble in Little China. I know, I know ? enough with the remakes (both for DJ and for movies in general)! But there are some movies that just scream for reincarnation and BTiLC is one of them. DJ is perfect to reprise Jack Burton; he can deliver a cheesy line better than anyone I know. When asked about the plans, DJ replied, ?That?s happening, man! That?s happening, that?s happening. And again, that?s one of those things where you gotta take really good care of it.? You know what I think? I think Kim Cattrall should still play Gracie. She was so gloriously campy in the role and she could still get away with it. Fast 8 co-star and original Jack Burton, Kurt Russell, was asked about the remake and you know what ol? Jack Burton always says? ol? Jack always says, what the hell.
