Back in the day, Jude Law would get a lady pregnant just by looking at her. He was getting everybody pregnant! He has three kids with his first wife Sadie Frost, then he had two kids with random girlfriends/hookups, right? There was also the chaos of the Sienna Miller years, and there were a few somewhat serious relationships after that. But for at least four years now, Jude has been quietly in a committed relationship with Phillipa Coan. Coan isn?t an actress or part of Hollywood or the London scene at all she?s some kind of psychologist and professional with her own company which deals with work environments and behavioral therapy. There were rumors of an engagement between Coan and Law for a while, and I?ve thought for some time that they probably were lowkey engaged but not really focused on having a wedding. As it turns out, that was probably the case:
Hollywood actor Jude Law tied the knot with his lover on Tuesday. Jude, 46, and business psychologist Phillipa Coan shunned showbiz pals and invited only close family to the low-key ceremony. Jude and Phillipa, 32, arrived for the civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in central London in a chauffeur-driven Range Rover at 11:40 a.m.
He was spotted helping his bride-to-be from the black 44 before gripping her hand as they made their way up the stone steps for the ceremony. They emerged about an hour later with their wedding bands proudly on display then got back into their waiting vehicle without posing for any pictures.

Congrats to them. What I like about them is that they never hid their relationship, but they didn?t promote it either like, I don?t think they?ve ever walked a carpet together, but she often travels with him on location, and they seem genuinely close. He probably enjoys the fact that she?s outside of his industry. And she enjoys the fact that he?s still really beautiful.
You know who Phillipa reminds me of? One of Meryl Streep?s daughters she totally could pass for Mamie or Grace Gummer.

Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen?s new film, Long Shot, comes out tomorrow. It?s a rom com very much in the style of Seth?s comedies but not so much Charlizes genre. As she told Jimmy Fallow on The Tonight Show, she?s usually in movies where ?I get killed or I kill or I?m just a bitch.? So this should be fun to see Charlize branch out. But it begs the question, what made her choose this film for her first rom-com? Charlize said it was Seth?s talent that got her to take the first meeting but it was his getting stoned that convinced her to make his film. Wait, what? According to Charlize (at the 2:30 mark), Seth becomes a super genius when he gets stoned.
What she said about Seth:
What made you want to do this and work with Seth?
You know, honestly, it was him. I?m a huge fan and I really love the movie that he makes. Not only as an actor, but what he writes and produces. I never thought that I would somehow fit in to that world but he sent me this script and there was something about it that felt grounded enough that it felt like it could really work between the two of us.
He comes off as a stoner but he really puts a lot of thought into everything. I know he does that, but he really is a very good producer
Listen, I have never witnessed anything like it. It?s impressive. The first meeting we had, we knew we had to develop the project. And it took about four or five years for us to develop this, and in the first meeting, I was just really impressed by his confidence, his intelligence, how well he knows story. And then he lit a joint and took a hit off it. It was like I was in the presence of? Einstein. It was like off the charts. No, he takes a hit, he gets so smart, he gets so focused, so creative. I mean literally on days I would just follow him and be like, please smoke. Just smoke ? please, please smoke. We need a hit. We need this movie to do great.
Obviously, as evidenced by Jimmy?s reaction, Charlize?s description of Seth defies any stereotype of stoners. I?ve never gotten stoned, so I?ll take Charlize?s word for it. Most artists feel that something affects their work, be it weed or booze or a location or a mood. I am slightly fascinated by her description though. I remember his plea to Congress for Alzheimer research, he was focused and smart in that. And since CB told us that he is stoned every day, it?s possible we were seeing a stoned, focused Seth testifying before Congress. Which, I mean, would you want to face Congress sober?
Charlize starting the interview talking about her kids and tells some really cute stories. She is also a goddamn champion of Mom Bragging. Every story she dropped made her children out to be golden and yet, the whole thing came off as a comedy routine. No judgment, I?m in awe. I think I might study her technique.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner both attended last night?s Billboard Music Awards. They did not walk the carpet together though Joe walked with his brothers, and Sophie walked the carpet with one of her X-Men: Dark Phoenix costars, Tye Sheridan. Sophie was there as a presenter, Joe was there to perform. They sat together though, obviously, because they?ve been together for several years and they?ve been engaged since October 2017. About that? they up and got married after the BMAs:
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just tied the knot! After the couples adorable night at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas where Joe and his brothers performed in their first awards show since announcing the JoBros reunion earlier this year it seems they hit up a local wedding chapel to tie the knot.
The first hint at the festivities came on Diplos Instagram Story, where the DJ shared a clip of Turner in a white dress, entering a Vegas chapel with Jonas and his brothers, who were dressed in suits. Gonna hit up this wedding real quick, Diplo captioned the clip. ET confirmed the union with a copy of the couples marriage license, which they obtained earlier in the day. Later videos from Diplos Instagram showed the Game of Thrones star walking down a short aisle, surrounded by friends and fellow BBMA attendees, like singer Khalid. The actress bridal ensemble was completed with a veil and blinking bouquet, as country stars Dan + Shay played their hit Speechless.

Weirdly, the vibe wasn?t ?crazy Vegas elopement.? Like, they didn?t just suddenly decide to get married while they were sitting at the BMAs. I think they maybe put one week?s thought into it, and Sophie bought a white dress and Joe asked his brothers if they would come with him after the Billboard Music Awards, and maybe while they there last night, they told their friends to come by after the show and watch their wedding. So? that happened. I hope Joe knows he?ll never be good enough for our Sansa Stark. *sob*

Mariah Carey received the Billboard Icon Award last night and the whole thing became an instant classic. First of all, Mariah was, like, professionally cinched into some kind of Spanx harness and corset and then the dress was probably sewn onto her. All so we can say ?wow, you look SO THIN Mariah!? Her styling was very pretty too great hair, pretty makeup, and she just looked happy. Here?s the video of Mariah?s speech it became instantly iconic because of Mariah throwing her tissue around the 50-second mark.
She performed a medley too:
I cut to the BMAs as Ciara was performing and without the close-ups, I could tell who was singing. I feel bad about that, because she sounded good and she looked beautiful. But I was like ?who is this, J.Lo?? So wrong.
Priyanka Chopra attended with her husband Nick Jonas. She wore a J-Lo-esque Zuhair Murad gown which was pretty boring.
Country Diplo when will I ever feel enough shame about my desire to hatefk him?? Because even now, I?m like ?I still sort of would.? I?m so sorry.
Drake won a million BMAs and during one of his speeches, he thanked Arya Stark ?for putting in that work last week.? Drake tends to curse the women he supports though, so now it?s pretty much guaranteed that Arya won?t survive. *sob*
