| Jennifer Lopez in Georges Hobeika at the SAGs: sad & droopy? | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I feel a legit pang of sympathy for Jennifer Lopez. Two months ago, I would have said that Jennifer was the one to beat for Best Supporting Actress awards. But she hasn?t won any of the big awards, and she didn?t even get nominated for an Oscar. It sucks. And I feel like her style this year has reflected that she just looks sad and droopy and like she?s about to cry. ME TOO, JEN. Her SAG Award ensemble was by Georges Hobeika. It? was depressing. I actually halfway hope this is the last time we see her during the awards season I?m sure she?ll be offered an Oscar presenter slot, and I?m sure she?ll be invited to the Vanity Fair Oscar party. But she should skip it. Just stay home on Oscar night and tell all of those motherfkers to kiss her ass.
Phoebe Waller Bridge wore Armani and man, she has a great figure. I really like the dress too it?s perfect, a great blend of chilled-out and glam. I?m adding bonus photos of Andrew Scott, who lost but seemed to have a great time anyway.

| Margot Robbie in Chanel at the SAG Awards: lovely or just not on-brand? | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Margot Robbie?s Chanel contract reminds me a lot of Jennifer Lawrence?s Dior contract I?m glad these ladies are getting paid and I?m glad they don?t have to stress about finding a dress last-minute, but? there?s inherently a ?bad fit? between designer and celebrity. Margot looked so much better when she wore whatever she wanted, but now that she mostly has to wear Chanel on the major red carpets, it just feels like it?s bad for her personal brand, and bad for Chanel?s brand. So, this is what Margot wore to the SAG Awards. It? does not suit her. It?s not BAD, per se, it just doesn?t look right on any level.
I?m always surprised that more women don?t wear suits to the SAG Awards, it seems like the perfect event to mix in a nice suit or lady?s tuxedo. Margaret Qualley was one of the few women who suited up for this year?s SAGs and so that made her stand out like crazy. Plus, this Chanel suit was GOOD. Really good. She looks like a model straight off the runway.

| Christina Applegate in Monique Lhuillier at the SAGs: fug or just ok? | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Christina Applegate was nominated for lead actress in a comedy, which of course went to Phoebe Waller Bridge. As I always mention when covering her, watch Dead to Me on Netflix! Its highly entertaining and you wont be able to resist binging it. She gave a good performance of a damaged person working through their sh-t. Its also a nice look at female friendship. Christina was looking dowdy in this abstract floral print Monique Lhuillier, which looked worse on camera actually. This is quite dated and frumpy looking. The skirt might be ok with a sleeker solid color top, but the 70s secretary blouse brings it firmly into fug territory. Sometimes I wonder if celebrities get strong armed by their stylists, if they dont know any better, or if they just dont care. I think in Christinas case she knows how this looks and shes trying to own it, but not quite succeeding. Her star and moon earrings are really cool.
Elisabeth Moss was in pepto Pink Monique Lhuillier and shes similarly drowning in frumpy fabric from another era. Again, the skirt is perfectly fine but the matchy top and ruffled neckline put it over the top. Shes using her sunny disposition to try to make the best of a bad situation.
Elisabeths costar Madeline Brewer got the best Lhuillier, which is truly not saying much. Why are tiered ruffle skirts making a comeback? There were so many of them last night. That said, at least the bodice is fitted and shes not covered head to toe in blue polka dot tulle. I dislike this trend of little-to-no eye makeup.

| Charlize Theron wore Givenchy, with a diamond-accented hairstyle, to the SAGs | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Charlize Theron got a lot of attention at the SAG Awards because she did something weird with her hair. On the red carpet, she said she didn?t have time to do her roots, so her stylist just arranged a diamond necklace to go along the center-part in her hair. Which? drew attention to her roots. It was a strange styling choice. Her two-piece Givenchy was? meh. Not the best, not the worst.
Nicole Kidman in Michael Kors. She looked? fine? I honestly don?t have any complaints here. The dress is okay-to-good (not great), her hair looks okay and she?s not Botoxed to high heaven. It?s weird that Nicole used to be the one to watch on the red carpet, but she?s spent years lowering expectations so much that I?ll just call this look a win and move on.
Zoe Kravitz in Oscar de la Renta. I like and appreciate what Zoe has been trying to do recently with the Audrey Hepburn vibe, BUT I also hate this shade of soft peach. It?s ugly and dated and unflattering on Zoe. Imagine this in red, black, purple or green. It would have been so good. But she looks like she?s about to go to a school dance in 1955. The gloves are fine!

| Scarlett Johansson at the SAGs: beautiful Armani gown, but dear God, the styling | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Scarlett Johansson actually wore one of the best dresses of the SAG Awards, in my opinion. I just can?t call my choice for best dressed because she fked it up with the styling, from her too-tight hair to her orange fking lipstick. But Scar?s Armani gown was beautiful fantastic color, great design and you could tell that Scarlett loved it. Too bad her style people hate her though. Anyway, I think it?s a little bit funny that Scarlett was one of the favorites coming into the awards season and she hasn?t won jack sh-t so far. But at least? she?s engaged to Colin Jost. CB joked that they have matching douchefaces and now I can?t unsee it.
Joaquin Phoenix is marching towards that Best Actor Oscar win and I go back and forth on it. Like, was his Joker performance ?good? on a technical, acting level? For sure. But I have such strong, negative feelings about the movie that I just wish Phoenix wasn?t winning everything. At least make it competitive and give Adam Driver something! Anyway, here?s Joaquin. He?s been attending these shows with his sister and not Rooney Mara (although Rooney came to the Globes).

| Jennifer Aniston wore Dior and got congratulated by Brad Pitt at the SAGs | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Just like at the Golden Globes, it was all about the reunion of Brad & Jen, aka Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, the couple who has been divorced for fifteen years. The bulk of those fifteen years, Brad was with Angelina Jolie, until it all went to hell in an alcoholic blaze in 2016. Brad Pitt did something to his son Maddox and it was bad enough that Angelina ghosted with the kids, and Brad went into some kind of rehab program. They?re still not divorced. I wondered if there would be any reference to Angelina or the kids during Brad?s Oscar campaign, and last night there was. Someone gave Brad some ?jokes? to tell if and when he won. These are the jokes:
?I?m gonna add this to my Tindr profile? and ?Quentin has separated more women from their shoes than the TSA? and then this: ?Let?s be honest, it wasn?t a difficult part, a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn?t get on with his wife?it was a big stretch.? Brad?s OUATIH character most likely killed his wife. Brad Pitt attacked his family so badly that Angelina hasn?t wanted anything to do with him since. But now it?s a laugh line at an awards show? I mean
Meanwhile, Jennifer wore this (bridal?) Dior gown which? was fine. I was surprised she didn?t wear black, but it worked out perfectly Jennifer won a SAG for The Morning Show, and then she and Brad reunited backstage (after he stopped to watch her speech backstage) and the whole photoshoot looks very wedding-y. CAA must be so pleased!

| Renee Zellweger in Maison Margiela at the SAGs: great dress & weird Southern accent? | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The theme of this post is Fake Southern. Starring Renee Zellweger and Reese Witherspoon. Renee Zellweger won the SAG Award for Best Actress for Judy, where her spectacular Judy Garland wig did all of the heavy lifting in that movie, my God. I don?t begrudge Renee these awards, exactly her performance was fine and I feel like she was definitely worthy of all of the nominations. But to see her march into the Oscars as the sure-thing is annoying me to no end. Also annoying? Renee?s continued poor ?performance? at awards show speeches. At the Golden Globes, she was so clearly drunk as hell. At the Critics Choice Awards, it was just? bad. Whatever it was. And last night, Renee?s speech was? like, crazy-Southern? She?s from Texas but she decided to put on this thick Alabama-style Southern accent.
Mess. As for fashion, Renee wore this Maison Margiela gown. Her style has actually been pretty good throughout the awards season, but she learned years ago to stick with the same three silhouettes and the same vintage-y look for awards shows. It?s fine.
Reese Witherspoon was born in Tennessee and she genuinely had a Southern accent at one point, then she lost it after living in LA for so long, then she ?rediscovered? it when she began building her Draper James brand. Her current vibe is fake-sugary performative Southern power-producer. And after Renee?s nonsense, I actually don?t mind it. Reese wore Celine and I dislike this dress. It?s just not my taste I find it dated and game-show-hostess-y. That being said, Reese?s body looks great and she seems healthy and NOT bonkers, so there.

| Catherine Zeta-Jones in Julien X Gabriela at the SAG Awards: yikes or fine? | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Catherine Zeta Jones came to the SAG Awards to support her husband, Michael Douglas, who was nominated for The Kaminsky Method. It feels like we barely see CZJ these days, but she turns out every so often at awards shows, mostly because Michael is nominated for stuff. So? when I can go months without seeing her, I?m always sort of startled by whatever new face work she?s gotten done. Last night, I was extra-startled. Lord, Catherine has done some THINGS to her beautiful face and I just don?t get it. Her gown was Julien X Gabriela not very flattering, but this whole appearance was a tragedy from head to toe. Also: the cat-eye makeup is doing her no favors.
Helena Bonham Carter is three years older than Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53 to CZJ?s 50. Who would you rather look like, bonkers-but-untweaked HBC or tweaked CZJ? I mean. HBC was at the SAGs to gather up awards for The Crown. Olivia Colman didn?t bother to come, even though Olivia was nominated for The Crown AND Fleabag. HBC was joined by Josh OConnor and Erin Doherty. I think Helena looks a bit messy/kooky but we expect that from her.
